All ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ Press Tour & Premiere Looks So Far

The premiere for The Devil Wears Prada 2 is closing in, and Anne Hathaway has already stepped back into Andy Sachs’s (initially questionable) shoes.

Over the past month, the film’s leading quartet—Meryl Streep, Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci—have moved through a tightly scheduled run of red carpets and appearances, setting the tone for what is shaping up to be a fashion-heavy press circuit.

Arriving two decades after the original, the sequel follows Miranda Priestly as she contends with the erosion of traditional publishing—and a new adversary in Emily Charlton, now positioned within a luxury conglomerate controlling the advertising revenue Priestly needs.

The tour began in Mexico City, with its opening engagement staged at the Frida Kahlo Museum. Hathaway arrived in Schiaparelli: a black cowboy shirt and pencil skirt edged with long, tubular knitted fringe that trailed from the lapels and cuffs before slicing asymmetrically across the skirt.

Streep, meanwhile, stepped cleanly back into Priestly’s world in custom Dolce & Gabbana—a tailored, monochromatic red suit composed of a pussy-bow blouse, single-breasted blazer and wide-leg trousers.

From there, the wardrobe has evolved with each city. In Tokyo, Streep wore Chanel from Matthieu Blazy’s tenure, while Hathaway opted for Valentino couture from the spring 2026 collection. In New York, Emily Blunt opted for a sculptural Schiaparelli gown, its gilded raffia bodice offset by a frothy, champagne-toned tulle skirt cut into asymmetric tiers.
