Where To Watch The 2026 Emmy Awards In Australia Today

Skip work and settle in

There’s no season quite like awards season, and no ceremony quite like the Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony.

The annual awards, held in Los Angeles, celebrate the best and brightest of American television, from our favourite rom-coms to our guilty-pleasure reality shows.

In fact, the Emmys are so wide-ranging that the awards have to be handed out over multiple nights. Already, some 2026 winners have been announced, with the awards hosting two evenings earlier this month to celebrate the success of television’s brightest stars, including Shailene Woodley for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series.

The 78th Emmy Awards are hosted by the iconic Mariska Hargitay, with the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star even teasing a “little song and dance” number when speaking to Extra ahead of the ceremony.

As for the nominations, unsurprisingly, The Pitt is sweeping the ceremony with 25 nods following wins at the Golden Globes and Critics’ Choice Awards earlier this year.

The medical drama is closely followed by the final season of Hacks with 24 nominations, as well as The Diplomat, The Gilded Age, Pluribus, Your Friends and Neighbours and many more.

Notably missing from this year’s nominees is arguably the breakout television show of 2026 Prime Video’s ice hockey drama, Off Campus.

The adaptation became the number one debut in history amongst female viewers aged 18-34 and amassed 36 million global viewers in just 12 days, but didn’t get a single nod at this year’s awards. Will we see the stars at the ceremony anyway? We’ll have to wait and see.

So where can you watch all the red carpet glamour, memorable speeches and big moments?
