Ever since the news that Picnic At Hanging Rock, the eerie Australian 1975 film by Peter Weir (based on a book by Joan Lindsay) was to be rebooted, we’ve been anxiously awaiting further details.
Finally, the trailer for the six-episode TV series, produced by Foxtel, is here – and it looks every bit as ominous as the original.
Starring Game of Thrones’ Natalie Dormer as the boarding school’s headmistress and Samara Weaving as one of the missing school girls, its heavy on Australian talent. Watch the trailer below:
