Paola Pivi: I don’t like it, I love it

A group of dancing neon polar bears is taking over The Art Gallery of Western Australia as part of a new exhibition I Don’t Like It, I love It, by Italian contemporary artist Paola Pivi. On the surface, her work appears playful and light, but don’t be fooled, the installation offers a deeper exploration of sustainability, displacement and the human condition. From November 8 until April 26.

Women Aren’t Funny: Hosted By Abbie Chatfield

Entertainer and podcaster Abbie Chatfield joins Australia’s sharpest female comedians – including He Huang, Emma Holland, and Danielle Walker – for a night of deadpan wit and hilarious one-liners at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Sydney. Two nights only: November 15 and 16.

The Beast In Me

If you devoured The Girlfriend, then add Netflix’s new psychological thriller The Beast in Me to your watch list. The eight-part series follows a grief-stricken author, Aggie Wiggs (played by Claire Danes), who obsesses over her new neighbour, Nile Jarvis (Matthew Rhys), who was once a suspect in his wife’s disappearance.

For the first time in a decade, music icon Ricky Martin is returning to Australia for an electric nationwide tour. Expect high-energy renditions of his greatest hits, including “Livin’ la Vida Loca” and “She Bangs”, as well as a guest performance from Rita Ora. Harry Potter Audio Series
