Longines’ New Monochromatic Collection Is Inspiring Us To Step Up Our Watch Game

A timepiece that's timeless.

Nothing finishes off an ensemble quite like a striking, elegant timepiece. And while we’re used to investing in neutral colour ways of the accessory, Longines is here to convince us otherwise.

The Swiss timepiece brand is introducing monochromatic versions of two of its most beloved watch lines, the Longines Dolcevita and La Grande Classique de Longines.

The new collection boasts an array of new watches in bold and playful colour ways, with every piece making a powerful statement in carmine red, spring green, classic black and burnt orange and a cobalt blue. Not only that, but the timepieces are presented on straps that match the dial colour to make a statement that’s timeless yet chic.

As for the five different monochrome colours that the collection comes in, each style allows wearers to express themselves with a watch that perfectly reflects their mood or complements their wardrobe. A carmine red shade can catch every eye in the room, while a refreshing spring green can pay homage to the natural world.

Next comes a classic black that embodies both style and tradition effortlessly, and a burnt orange that reflects warmth and friendliness. And finally, who could look past the cobalt blue, a colour that celebrates inner harmony.

While, yes, it’s easy to only see the colour ways as playing a significant part in our wardrobes, it’s also the style that takes centre stage when it comes to a timepiece collection. And for the Longines Dolce Vita and La Grande Classique de Longines, these two styles have a loyal following from all around the world.

Since its release in 1997, the Longines Dolce Vita has represented contemporary elegance year after year. And now, the new monochromatic variety colourfully augments the gentle way of life that has always been a hallmark of the ever-so-popular line.

Not only do they offer outstanding wearer comfort, but they feature a small seconds display and a rhodium-plated rim makes sure that the colours of each dial stand out.

As for the timeless La Grande Classique de Longines, it has established itself as one of Longines’ most iconic collections. Now, the new monochromatic La Grande Classique de Longines offers a stylish and fresh take on the line’s classic elegance.

Not only that, but the accessory aims to dazzle with colourful polished lacquered dials, surrounded by a striking bezel paved with 44 Top Wesselton diamonds. Need we say more?
