Sydney Forecast
Sydney is expected to move through December with a mix of sunshine, cloud and the chance of passing showers. Temperatures across the month should range from lows of around 17°C to highs approaching 35°C. For Christmas Day itself, the city is forecast to stay mostly dry and sunny, with a mild low near 20°C and a comfortable high of about 24°C. With gentle light and soft warmth expected, Sydney may deliver a subtly sun-kissed and relaxed Christmas perfect for long lunches.

Melbourne Forecast
Melbourne’s December weather is shaping up to be warm yet changeable, with cloud cover and the possibility of mid-month storms adding some dynamism to the forecast. Highs are expected to reach up to 35°C over the month, though evenings may cool significantly to around 11°C. On Christmas Day, the city should see cloudy skies with pockets of sunshine and a high close to 22°C.
