- The Alexander brothers – twins Oren and Alon Alexander, 39, and their brother Tal, 40 – have each been sentenced to 30 years in prison in New York after being convicted of federal sex trafficking and related offences.
- Prosecutors alleged the three brothers used their wealth, luxury real estate connections and lavish trips to lure, drug and sexually assault women across the US and beyond.
- The brothers were arrested in December 2024 after allegations from dozens of women, including Australian Kate Whiteman, who accused Oren and Alon of raping her in the Hamptons in 2012.
- During the October 2026 sentencing hearing, 11 women delivered victim impact statements describing the lasting trauma of the assaults. The brothers denied the allegations, but a jury found them guilty in March 2026.
The Alexander brothers – twins Oren and Alon, 39 and Tal, 40 – have been sentenced to 30 years in prison during a hearing in New York on Tuesday, October 28th (U.S. time), with all three men convicted of federal sex trafficking, conspiracy and sexual assault offences.
The three brothers were convicted of exploiting their wealth and family’s real estate business to drug and rape at least 70 women in Miami, New York, the Hamptons, Aspen and even on a Caribbean cruise.
While a guilty verdict was handed down during the Alexander brothers’ trial in March, it wasn’t until this week that the men faced court for their final sentencing.
During the hearing, 11 women gave their testimony, under pseudonyms to protect their anonymity, recounting how the assaults by the brothers devastated and destroyed their lives.
“It took one night, only a few hours, one invitation to completely wreck the girl I once was,” one woman said.
A second spoke of mourning the woman she should have become had she not been assaulted.
“I carry a quiet funeral in me for the person I might have become had this not happened to me,” she said, “Every second that Tal raped me in that shower felt like an eternity of terror.”
It’s reported that all three brothers sat, emotionless, as each woman took to the stand to share their horrific accounts.
The brothers’ lawyers claimed they had changed from partying playboys to family men, husbands and fathers, over the past decade – a sentiment that saw Judge Caproni liken the men to Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
“It’s hard for me to believe the defendants changed their spots just like that. It strains credulity that marriage would change them from sexual predators to model gentlemen,” she said.

Who Are The Alexander Brothers?
The Alexander brothers, Tal, 40 and twins Oren and Alon, 39, grew up in a wealthy family in Miami, with their father running a successful private security business. While Alon went into the family business, his brothers Oren and Tal moved to New York in 2008 to work in real estate before opening their own brokerage, Official, in 2022, selling luxury properties to high-end clients.
The combination of all three brothers’ professions led to an opulent lifestyle and notoriety. Prosecutors on the case said this level of affluence and access to money and women allowed the men to exploit their victims, luring them to lavish events and trips during which they would drug and rape the women, sometimes together or in the company of others.
“The defendants felt empowered to take whatever they wanted from any woman or girl who agreed to get on a plane, go to a party or sit at their table at a nightclub,” the attorneys said in a sentencing submission.
“The defendants made no effort to have consensual sex with the victims; they did not want that. Instead, they slipped drugs into drinks and forced themselves on to their victims.”
What Did The Alexander Brothers Do?
The Alexander brothers were arrested in December of 2024 and charged with federal sex trafficking and similar offences. The arrest came months after the story broke via real estate news site Real Deal, which detailed the lawsuits brought against all three men in what one insider told them was the “worst kept secret” in the industry.
One of the first to come forward was Australian woman Kate Whiteman, who sued Oren and Alon in March 2024. In her lawsuit, Whiteman stated she met the men at a Manhattan nightclub in 2012 where they forced her into an SUV as she tried to leave, before driving her to the Hamptons where she was assaulted at a party mansion called Sir Ivan’s Castle.
Whiteman died earlier this year, with New South Wales police concluding her cause of death was not suspicious. Her bravery saw many more women speak out.
The second woman, Rebecca Mandel, accused the brothers of drugging and assaulting her at a party in 2010. Mandel recalled she had one drink – handed to her by Alon – when her mind became hazy and soon after was held down by Alon as Oren forced himself on her, before the men switched places.
Dozens more women came forward shortly after the first allegations against the Alexander brothers were made, all of which the men have denied, maintaining their innocence up until and throughout the sentencing hearing.
According to court documents from the trial, at least 70 women were raped or sexually assaulted by the men, with prosecutors describing them as “serial rapists”.
