A New Aussie Horror Film Is In The Works, Starring So Many Former ‘Bachelor’ Stars

Prepare to get spooked by 'The Possessed'

As if some of the past Bachelor seasons weren’t scary enough (yes Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins, we’re looking at you), some of the cast from seasons gone by have signed on to star in a local horror film, The Possessed. 

Chris Sun, the director of the upcoming project, shared the news to Instagram along with the film’s first official poster.

“Hey guys I would like to introduce you to some of our amazing cast for my 5th feature film The Possessed,” he wrote. “I’m super excited to be directing such a talented bunch of Aussie Actors.”

What Is The Film About? 

The exact plot of the film remains a mystery, but the poster does reveal it’s “inspired by actual events.”

Who Has Been Cast? 

The upcoming project has a mega lineup of stars preparing to get spooked. 

Lincoln Lewis, Simone Buchanan and Melissa Tkautz have all been cast, as well as John Jarratt, the actor who portrayed the infamous Mick Taylor in the Wolf Creek franchise. 

Former Bachelorette Angie Kent will also appear in the upcoming film, telling Studio 10 she’s finding her horror inspiration from “every dude I dated on The Bachelorette.”

Also on the cast sheet is Romy Poulier, who appeared in the 2018 season of The Bachelor, as well as Cody Simpson’s little sister Alli Simpson.

When Will It Premiere? 

Sun revealed that the upcoming project will begin filming on the Gold Coast in November, and its slated for a 2021 release.
