Zendaya and Law Roach have long existed as one of fashion’s most instinctive creative pairings. Every Met Gala, red carpet and press tour feels cumulative, refining a visual narrative rather than simply delivering a look.
There is a clarity to their collaboration, a sense of knowing exactly where to take their method dressing next, and which designer archives to mine, that makes even the most referential moments feel fresh rather than overworked. Zendaya, in turn, brings an almost instinctive joy to the way she wears clothes.
This latest run, though, comes with an added layer of intrigue. It was Roach himself who appeared to casually suggest that Zendaya and Tom Holland may have already married in secret. “You missed it!” he teased on the 2026 SAG Awards red carpet when asked about her future bridal look. “The wedding’s already happened!”
The comment was unexpected, but it has since cast everything in a distinctly bridal inflection, particularly given that The Drama centres on an engaged couple whose wedding week goes spectacularly off the rails.
As Zendaya moves through promotion for The Drama, alongside early momentum for Dune: Part Three and the return of Euphoria, we find ourselves in the midst of a rare, extended multi-project run, one where a distinct theme is beginning to emerge.
Leaning into the narrative without ever becoming overt, her wardrobe has taken on a subtle bridal register. There was the high-low, skirted shirt dress at Louis Vuitton’s Autumn/Winter 2026 show, where she quietly debuted her wedding band.
Then, the blooming Caché gown, once worn by Whitney Houston and later immortalised by Carrie Bradshaw, at the 2026 Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards.
Most notably, the return of an ivory silk-satin Vivienne Westwood dress, first worn by Zendaya herself to the 2015 Oscars, at the film’s Los Angeles premiere.
Even the outliers nod to the familiar refrain of something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue: a black Armani Privé gown first worn by Cate Blanchett and reposted by Law as “#something borrowed,” and an electric Schiaparelli couture gown finished with blue ombré feathers and a tiered ball skirt, a neat echo of something blue.
Ahead, every look Zendaya has worn on The Drama press tour, so far.
