This season of Farmer Wants A Wife has officially ended, with our farmers and their leading ladies riding off into the sunset. One of those loved-up couples was Farmer Dylan and Ally, who had a turbulent, albeit magnetic, connection throughout the season.
In choosing Ally, Dylan brought the ongoing love triangle between himself, Ally and Scarlett to an end. While some of the other farmers’ choices seemed more obvious, we admit we were on the edge of our seats waiting to see who Dylan would pick, with his connections with both women appearing equally strong.
In the finale, Dylan declared his love for Ally, saying: “This final decision has been made from my heart and what my gut tells me to do. I have to follow what I feel and I love you. I love you a lot.”
But at the end of last night’s episode, fans got a glimpse of the reunion trailer, which teased there might be some surprising developments in store.
So, are Farmer Dylan and Ally still together?

Despite their declarations of love, it seems the first flush of romance may already be cooling.
In the teaser for the reunion episode, which aired at the end of last night’s finale, the farmers reunite with host Natalie Gruzlewski, who asks them how their relationships are going one month on.
In one moment, Dylan appears visibly tense, saying “it’s not what I wanted.”
While it’s already widely speculated that Farmer Alex and his match, Eddy, haven’t lasted (with Eddy spotted with another man near her home in Brisbane) the voiceover hinted that two farmers have been left heartbroken, showing both Alex and Dylan.
Dylan and Ally were also later spotted sitting at opposite ends of the couch, with their uncomfortable facial expressions hinting that there may be trouble in paradise.

Dylan’s runner-up, Scarlett, revealed to New Idea that she did have concerns about Ally walking away from Dylan after her memorable (and short-lived) “walkout” from the show.
“Looking back, I definitely think that Ally and Dylan are so, so compatible and they’re very well matched,” she told the publication.
“My only worry at the time, when Dylan didn’t choose me, was, ‘Is Ally going to flee again?’ But from my perspective now, I don’t think Ally would ever do that again.”
“I just think they’re very well suited […] The more I watch it, the more I realise that Ally was indeed the right choice for Dylan.”
Could the reunion episode simply be teasing a bump in the road? For now, we’ll have to wait and see whether these young lovebirds can make it work.
