The Hamish & Andy radio show has gone on a two week hiatus, but it’s not all bad news for fans, as the radio duo prepare for their new TV show.
Hamish Blake and Andy Lee will retire from radio for good at the end of the year, but until then, will focus on their radio and new TV gig.
True Story with Hamish and Andy, debuts on Channel Nine on June 5 and brings to life hilarious stories told by everyday Australians, acted out by well known actors and comedians.
“There’s no prize, no recording contract, you don’t fall in love at the end of it or become a chef,” Blake told Confidential. “The prize is you just get to sit there and often embarrass yourself in front of us and tell your story.”
