โI do a nice morning hike with my daughter,โ The 36-year-old OC hunk told People of the 1-year-old. โThatโs always a treat.โ
โItโs something to do in the wee hours of the morning when sheโs up. Itโs a good activity for both of us.โ
โWe hike around our house,โ the actor adds. โWatching the sunrise with a kid is pretty fun. I have her in the [Baby] Bjorn.โ

Whilst itโs not unusual for mums to take countless photos of their bubs, LA photographer Laura Izumikawa has taken it to a whole new level, and made her daughter Joey a bonafide Instagram star in the process.
From Pikachu to Sia to Princess Leia, the crafty mum started with a few pics for loved ones and items she found around the house.
โJoey slept so deeply so I thought itโd be fun adding little props around her just to send some hilarious pictures to our parents and friends,โ Izumikawa told BuzzFeed. โItโs really hard not to laugh!โ
โShe usually just smiles and goes right back to sleep, which is kind of crazy,โ she added.
โIf it was me, I donโt think I could just go back to sleep, especially with a ridiculous wig on. I think those are the moments I try especially hard to stifle my laughter.โ
Little Joey Marie might only be four months old but she already has 264,000 followers and counting.

Reese Witherspoon has gone ahead and fuelled all hopes of an Elle Woods comeback.
Whilst hosting a Facebook Live last week, the 40-year-old actress discussed what she loved most about filming Legally Blonde.
โI got to wear all the amazing costumesโ, she said. โI also got to work with a dog every dayโฆIโm obsessed with dogs. I love dogs!โ
The mum-of-three then discussed the very important topic of another Legally Blonde sequel. โA lot of people have asked me if weโre going to make another Legally Blonde,โ the actress admitted. โAnd weโre thinking about it.โ
No objections here!
This isnโt the first time Reese has talked about a Legally Blonde trilogy. Last year on Fashionably Late with Rachel Zoe she admitted that now is the right time for it.
โA lot of writers over the years have come up with different ideas for it,โ she explained.
โI actually think itโs kind of great right now because weโre talking about women in politics and how important that is to get more women.
And I think itโd be kind of a cool thing to have her be a Supreme Court justice or someone who runs for office, like president!โ

Adelaide Stratton has opened up about her harrowing experience after she was caught up in the devastating terror attacks on Bastille Day in Nice, France.
The 22-year-old was hit and dragged along by the truck driven by terrorist Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel through the crowds of innocent people.
Having been separated from her friends, Stratton lay bloodied and scared when a kind stranger named Patrick Serjent, grabbed her hand.
(Credit: Sunday Night)
โI remember being really scared. There was a stranger holding my hand, I was lying on the ground in pain with โฆ blood dripping down my face,โ Adelaide told Sunday Night.
โI just remember his face and his hair, his long hair coming over,โ she said.
โI kind of knew he couldnโt speak English โฆ he was just looking at me and squeezing my hand right back. Patrick is โฆ the bravest man Iโve ever met. Who does that? What kind of person does that?โ Adelaide said.
When asked if Serjent saved her life she said without hesitation: โYep. Definitely, definitely, definitely.โ
Rather than dwell on the man who caused such devastation on July 14, Stratton says she wants her story to be about Patrick and the people who helped her.
โMy story is about helping others. The beautiful things that can come from the terrible.โ
Back home now in Sydney, Stratton is recovering from her injuries which included a shattered bone at the base of her skull, 50 stitches and a burned leg.

Drew Barrymore isnโt afraid to show her fans that celebrity life isnโt all glam and red carpets.
The 41-year-old who split from art consultant husband Will Kopelman earlier this year, shared a completely make-up free selfie from her hot yoga class.
Drew simply captioned the candid photo with three hashtags, โ#hotyoga, #saturday #loveโ.
Yes, celebrities really do sweat when they workout. Thank you, Drew.
It wasnโt just a sweat-filled Saturday for Drew. The mum-of-two proved that she has some serious hip-hop dancing skills in this workout โ#SweatySundaysโ workout video.
Drew and Will, who have daughters Olive, 3, and Frankie, 2, ended their marriage after four years. Opening up to Chelsea Handler on her Netflix series, Chelsea, Barrymore said she felt like a โfailureโ. โWhen you get divorced, youโre like, โIโm the biggest failure. This is the biggest failure. Itโs so shameful and hard to actually go through that, even privately.โ
But the actress said the support of her family and friends has been helping her get through the tough times. โThere has been this really nice feeling of something very fluid and positive and the opposite of how I felt inside,โ she said.
โEveryone has just been so cool and chill and nice about everything that it quelled my own fears and demons about how we sort of have to go through things in life.โ

A disabled six year old girl has allegedly been sexually assauled in a school toilet after four boys lured her there to โplay a gameโ.
The incident, which took place in November 2013 at a school in the Illawara region of NSW, saw two boys reportedly stand guard while another two assaulted the girl. The boys stuffed toilet paper into her mouth to stop her from screaming.
The girl reportedly returned to her classroom after the attack with her dress inside-out and it was then that the staff discovered what had happened.
Earlier this year the girls mother decided to sue the Department of Education for failing to protect her child, reports News Corp.
โShe was calling for mummy and that is when they used the toilet paper to shut her up,โ she said. โThe boys had been targeting younger and vulnerable kids. She is suffering from nightmares and flashbacks all the time. The stress is insurmountable.โ
Her mother claims the girl was only supposed to be playing in the โspecial-needsโ playground however she was in the regular one when the boys lured her away.
โThis happened because of the schoolโs failure to not only properly supervise students in their care, but also respond appropriately when reports of ยญassaults were made,โ Shine Lawyers abuse law partner Lisa Flynn told News Corp.
โWe believe that there was at least one other student who may have suffered abuse at this school.โ
A Department of Education spokesperson told The Daily Telegraph that the incident was investigated by the NSW Department of Educationโs Employee and Conduct Directorate.
According to police no action was taken due to the age of the alleged parties.

The woman who found herself trapped in a remote New Zealand hut for a month after watching her partner fall to his death has spoken out for the first time.
Paulina Pizova, 33, described her experience on the Routeburn track in the South Island of New Zealandโas โharrowingโ.
The Czech tourist told reporters that she and her partner Andrej Petr, 27, got lost two days into the planned hike. They spent one night in the open and the next day Petr fell down a steep slope and died shortly afterwards.
โAfter his death it took me another two nights out in the open before I reached the safety of the [Lake Mckenzie] hut,โ she said, according to The New Zealand Herald.
Ms Pizova, who suffered frostbite and hypothermia, broke into the wardenโs hut, which was closed during the off-season. However, the hut contained bunkbeds, a fire and a limited supply of food.
โAt the hut, considering my physical health, the deep snow conditions, knowing there were avalanche paths ahead of me, I knew it was best to stay in the safe place.
โI made a few attempts to walk out from the hut, but my feet, the weather conditions and the deep snow discouraged me from doing so.โ
She admitted that the pair should have taken more safety precautions before embarking on the track, which is known for its treacherous and changeable weather (even in summer).
โI am aware we made a few mistakes โ not leaving our intentions with somebody, not carrying a PLB [personal locator beacon] and underestimating the winter conditions on the track.โ
Ms Pizova was rescued after relatives in Czechoslovakia contacted New Zealand Police after the pair hadnโt been in touch with with their families for a month. A helicopter flew to rescue Ms Pizova and Mr Petrโs body was later recovered by Search and Rescue.

The controversial French ban on โBurkinisโ has been overturned after a month of global outrage.
More than 30 French towns had banned burkinis, which are full-length swimsuits that cover the entire body except for the face, hands and feet and are worn mostly by Muslim women. Burkinis were designed by an Australian woman, and are worn by some female Muslim lifeguards around Australia.
However, the ban prompted widespread condemnation, particularly after photographs emerged of a Muslim mother being forced to remove her burkini by armed French police. The images, taken in Nice, showed the womanโs daughter crying as her mother was forced to strip.
Yesterday the French Council of State ruled that the ban insulted โfundamental freedomsโ such as the โfreedom to come and go, the freedom of conscience and personal libertyโ according to CNN.
The ruling follows protests around the world, including in London where women dressed in burins and carrying pool toys protested outside the French embassy, The Washington Post reports.
However, this isnโt the first time that France has faced controversy over its attitude towards Muslims โ and a ban on headscarves in French schools remains intact.
At the heart of these decisions is Franceโs fundamental belief in a secular society, where the church and state are entirely separate. However, there has been criticism that the burkini ban was a knee-jerk response to the terror attacks in Nice.

The Federal Governmentโs same-sex marriage plebiscite has hit a major roadblock, after the Greens announced today that it would block legislation to enable the nationwide vote.
Greens leader Richard Di Natale made the surprising announcement at a press conference in Melbourne on Friday, saying โWe should never put questions of human rights to an opinion poll. The Greens wonโt support this waste of money that is designed to delay equality and give a megaphone to hate and homophobia.โ
LGBTIQ spokeswoman Janet Rice told The Guardian that the fastest way to achieve marriage equality was to have a free vote explaining, โblocking the plebiscite will increase the pressure on Malcolm Turnbull and the coalition to catch up with the rest of the worldโ
The decision by the Greens places increased pressure on Labor to finalise its stance. However Opposition Leader Bill Shorten has already dismissed the plebiscite as โridiculousโ and a โdelaying tacticโ which serves as an indication they might also block the bill, reports The SMH.
According to gay federal Liberal MP Tim Wilson โif the law doesnโt change, it will be on Bill Shorten and Richard Di Natale for three years because they said this issue isnโt worth fighting for.โ
The spokesperson for Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays Sharyn Faulkner said, โOur LQBTI children should not have to plead with millions of other Australians to have their fundamental rights recognized, while at the same time enduring hate and bile.โ
Australian Marriage Equality chairman Alex Greenwich said that before parliament resumes a pathway to marriage equality must be agreed on.
โNo one party has the numbers by themselves to achieve marriage equality through a parliamentary vote or a plebiscite, we call on our leaders to urgently come together and deliver marriage equality in line with the wishes of the Australian people.โ

You may be familiar with the burkini, a hooded, three-piece swimming costume popular with Muslim women across the globe. But you probably didnโt know that it was created right here in Australia.
The garment was the brainchild of Aheda Zanetti, a Muslim Australian woman who grew up in western Sydney. She was inspired to design the light, polyester wetsuit after seeing her young niece struggle to play netball in her restrictive full-bodied clothing.
โIt got me thinking because when I was a girl I missed out on sport โ we didnโt participate in anything because we chose to be modest, but for my niece I wanted to find something that would adapt to the Australian lifestyle and western clothing but at the same time fulfil the needs of a Muslim girl,โ she wrote in The Guardian this week.
Since crafting her first burkini back in 2004, Zanetti has sold over 700,000 to clients from Norway to Israel and everywhere in between.
Her design quickly proved a blessing for Muslim women keen to take a dip in the sweltering heat while still maintaining their piety. That said, burkini wearers arenโt restricted by religion: in 2011, Nigella Lawson made headlines when she wore one to shield her skin from the harsh Australian sun.
But Zanetti never could have imagined that her creation would become the centre of a global controversy โ this week startling photos emerged of policemen in Nice, France, ordering a woman to remove her burkini (in actual fact, she was wearing leggings, a long-sleeved top and a hijab).
Hereโs the background: following a series of deadly jihadist attacks across France over the last few months, 15 French towns have banned the burkini. Their rationale? The garment is a public symbol of religion, and such displays go against the countryโs secular code.
Zanetti disagrees: โAnyone can wear [the burkini], Christian, Jewish, Hindus. Itโs just a garment to suit a modest person, or someone who has skin cancer, or a new mother who doesnโt want to wear a bikini, itโs not symbolising Islam.
โWhen I named it the burkini I didnโt really think it was a burqa for the beach. Burqa was just a word for me โ Iโd been brought up in Australia all my life, and Iโd designed this swimsuit and I had to call it something quickly. It was the combination of two cultures โ weโre Australians but we are also Muslim by choice.โ
The ban has sparked global outrage. Next Thursday, Franceโs Council of State (the highest administrative court) will examine a challenge to the ruling on the grounds that it stigmatises Muslims.
Meanwhile, sales of the burkini have gone through the roof, as non-Muslims buy up big in protest.
But Zanettiโs attention is on the bigger issues at hand.
Swimwear-clad protestors staged a beach party outside the French embassy in London over the burkini ban. #sun7https://t.co/uaiW9VIcvO
โThis negativity that is happening now and what is happening in France makes me so sad. I hope itโs not because of racism. I think they have misunderstood a garment that is so positive โ it symbolises leisure and happiness and fun and fitness and health and now they are demanding women get off the beach and back into their kitchens?
โI donโt think any man should worry about how women are dressing โ no one is forcing us, itโs a womanโs choice.โ

The world is a little less bright today. Sonia Rykiel, the French fashion designer known for her sexy, bright knitwear and use of Liquorice Allsorts stripes, has died after a long battle with Parkinsonโs disease. She was 86.
In recent years her angular cheekbones and distinctive trapeze-shaped red hair have been noticeably absent from her runways โ her daughter Nathalie took over as creative director in 1995 โ but her presence remains strong through the houseโs clothes, which are instantly recognisable by their slinky sinuousness and electric bright colours. Key silhouettes include long-line rib knits, those โ70s V-necks that demanded braless-ness and mid-length skirts โ she was one of the first designers to abandon the mini at the end of the โ60s.
(Credit: Getty)
The Rykiels have often adorned sweaters with cheeky slogans and worked rainbow stripes into everything from silk pants to swimwear โ most recently these stripes were picked out in sequins that everyone in the Marie Claire fashion office lusted over. It is perhaps the tongue-in-cheek Frenchy-ness of it all that stands out most of all โ there have often often berets on the Sonia Rykiel runway.
Born in 1930, Paris, the eldest of five sisters, Rykiel became an icon, credited with liberating les Parisiennes from the stuffy couture style of their mothers. In 1968 when she opened her first boutique on Rue de Grenelle, the city was known for its formal couture salons, where girls could look forward to dressing like their mothers.
Rykielโs proposition was quite different: she offered cool, youthful ready-to-wear, at first in those classic London Biba colours familiar from the era: black, dusky beiges, golds, browns and purples, and later in primary pop brights.
(Credit: Getty)
These were the clothes Rykiel wanted to wear herself โ but her thoroughly modern idea at a time when couturiers were style dictators, was that her customers to put their own spin on her gear. โI try to make garments but after that I hope the woman will make her own personality,โ she told the New York Times in 1969. โIt is not for me to dress her like a doll.โ
That newspaper was already calling her the โgrand dame of the sweaterโ in 1972, although as Rykiel herself admitted many times, she had no idea how to knit herself. She didnโt sketch or drape either, since she had no classical fashion training, but she was the consummate stylist.

A key fashion scene figure in the โ70s (like her peer Diane von Furstenberg she was the subject of a Warhol portrait), Rykiel continued to evolve her vision and grow her business through the โ80s and โ90s, launching accessories, menโs and childrenswear, fragrance and cosmetics. She will be missed.
Remembering this rule-breaking pioneer, one of the first designers I ever walked for. Grateful to have known the legendary #SoniaRykiel โค๏ธ

Dwayne โThe Rockโ Johnson has been named the highest paid actor in Hollywood by Forbes, with the superstar having taken home $US64.5 million in the last year.
The announcement means Robert Downey Jnr. has been knocked off the top spot, with the Iron Man star having taken out the title for the previous three years courtesy of all that superhero franchise cash.
Fuelling The Rockโs pay cheque are his star turns in Central Intelligence, San Andreas, his ongoing role in the Fast and the Furious franchise, not to mention the upcoming Baywatch re-make and his TV series Ballers.
But his (seriously big) pay day is in stark contrast to that of Jennifer Lawrence, the highest paid actress in Hollywood, who earned $US46 million last year.
Sure, thatโs nothing to sniff at but the $20 million difference in salaries highlights the ongoing, and infuriating, gender pay gay that still exists in Tinseltown.
To wit, while number two on the male list Jackie Chan was paid $61 million last year, the number two highest paid Melissa McCarthy made roughly half of that (or to be precise $33 million). Basically, the top actors are out-earning their female counterparts by tens of millions.
โThere are simply more big-budget roles for men that pay the high fees and cut of profits needed to score multimillion take-homes,โ Forbes writer Natalie Robehmed tells Vanity Fair. โIn fact, there are more roles for men, period: Male characters comprise an overwhelming 71% of all speaking roles in movies, according to a recent study.โ

After watching US reality show To Catch A Predator, Blake*, a tinder user himself who had seen underage girls come up on the dating app, came up with an idea.
Called โThe Tinder Experimentโ, the 26-year-old from Melbourne enlisted friends to help to him trap and expose paedophileโs online.
โI saw a lot of unusual things come up on my own Tinder account, including underage girls, and I wanted to run an experiment to see how other guys were reacting to such things,โ he told News Corp.
Blakeโs friend Imogen*, 21, became involved, posing on the dating app as a 15-year-old, and the reactions she received were horrifying.
โOnce the profile went up and we saw how they were reacting, we decided to go that step further and see how they acted in person,โ added Blake.
โFrom that point it really became about raising awareness and showing the public what was happening in their community.โ
The risky experiment, saw Imogen meet up with the older men and posting the videos online.
The videos quickly went viral and naturally caught the attention of police, concerned over the danger he and his friends were putting themselves in
โThey said โYou donโt know whatโs going to happen, someone could pull a knife or a gun โ and itโs kind of interfering with the working weโre doingโ,โ

The Hills alum Audrina Patridge gave birth to a baby girl, Kirra Max Bohan, on June 24.
And whilst the 31-year-old did introduce her daughter on Instagram with teaser shots, she has now shared the first intimate photos of her and Australian fiancรฉ Corey Bohanโs bub.
โAlrightโฆ Itโs time! Everyone is asking to see baby Kirra, and I canโt hold back any longer! We are so beyond in love with her!! I never imagined I could love someone with all that I have, but my love for her grows each and every day.
โAnd since everyone has been so patient, I wanted to share a couple of pictures with you all:),โ the new mum wrote on her blog,โ the new mum wrote on her blog.
The mum-of-one opened up about motherhood and her happy baby.โWe are so incredibly lucky! Kirra is the happiest, most beautiful baby with a constant smile and lots of goo-ing and gaa-ing! She loves giving Corey and I the biggest smiles,โ she wrote.
โI absolutely love being a mom โ Kirra is my number one priority. If Iโm being completely honest, the first month of no sleep, C-Section recovery, unpacking, and getting back into the swing of things was pretty grueling,โ Audrina continued. โBut, at the end of the day, all I had to do was take one look at Kirra and none of that mattered anymore.โ

Lena Dunham has always been a fan of New Zealand lingerie brand Lonely.
Last year, she shared a selfie in a set of matching seafoam green bra and knickers by the brand on her Instagram. โI think I will wear [them] to dinner with some boots and a smile because we are all very lucky to be free,โ she wrote on the post. The selfie was confident, beautiful and inspiring: an image of body positivity and characteristic Dunham donโt-give-a-fuckery and we loved it.
Today, Dunham has won another very important, perhaps even strategic, battle in the struggle for greater body positivity in the media, posing for an unretouched, raw photoshoot for the Kiwi brandโs ongoing Lonely Girls campaign with her BFF and Girlsโ colleague Jemima Kirke.
Sure, itโs nothing new from the Girlsโ creator, who has regularly shed her clothes in the pages of magazines and in the searing, realistic โ and even at times totally cringeworthy, because they strike so close to home โ sex scenes on her TV show.
But it is still an important move from the actress and filmmaker, who is pretty much singlehandedly attempting to reshape the idea of what constitutes a beautiful female body after years of seeing a very specific shape in the media, in films and on television, and yes, even in the annals (poor word choice, we know) of porn.
Itโs a sentiment that Kirke has spoken out about before, telling Refinery 29 that โone thing I hate that they say about Lena is โSheโs so confidentโ [for doing nude scenes]โฆ That makes me really mad and itโs really short-sighted, because I donโt think sheโs confident. I think sheโs brave. Itโs not that sheโs proud necessarily or showing off. Itโs that sheโs making an effort to fight the standard so that one day weโll stop calling nudity and self-love โbraveโ. And, if people get mad because they see it as a big fuck-you, well then, theyโre fucking right. It is.โ
And itโs exactly why Dunhamโs constant, unflinching portrayal of her own body is so important.
Speaking this morning on her podcast, British writer Dolly Alderton summed up the value of this photoshoot in reinforcing Dunhamโs powerful message.
โItโs not exhibitionism, she doesnโt love doing it, sheโs not a provocateur,โ Alderton said. โItโs to deprogram our very narrow view about what womenโs bodies should look like. And the more we see women who look like Lena Dunham naked, the more normalised it will become. And that is a radical, useful, wonderful thing that sheโs doing for women and men everywhere.โ

When people of the internet see something they donโt agree with, you can be sure that they will voice their opinions, especially when it comes to celebrities.
So when Charlize Theron was out with her son, Jackson, who happened to be dressed like Elsa from Frozen, Twitter users did not hold back.
The 41-year-oldโs son was pictured wearing an Elsa cap and long, blonde braid, and a striped dress. When the photos emerged, people were outraged, even accusing the actress of โdegradingโ her son.
Like many young children, Jackson is obviously a fan of the highly successful Frozen, and like many parents, Charlize obviously has no problem with her son wearing what he feels comfortable in.
And there were Twitter users who supported Charlizeโs parenting style.
Here's a thought: maybe Charlize Theron's son WANTED to wear the dress? Crazy, I know. Letting him have his own identity and all.

After his mother was arrested for DUI, this little one-year-old boy was found by West Virginia Police covered in vomit in the backseat of the car.
Police on the scene took the child from the car and took him with them back to their police Headquarters.
Seeing at their office was not exactly equipped for looking after a baby, the officers were forced to improvise, washing the little boy in the sink.
Despite all that he had been through, photos of the moment shared by the officers show the little boy, whose name the officers did not know, happy and smiling.
โWe made an arrest for DUI, the one-year-old baby boy was in the backseat covered in vomit,โ trooper B.R. Wood, with the Princeton detachment told the Bluefield Daily Telegraph. โThe vehicle was disabled, so we brought the baby boy back.โ
โHe was the best little baby. He had just started to nod off when Child Protective Services arrived.โ
After drying him off with a towel and finding a teddy bear for him to cuddle, one of the officers was pictured cradling the child while thy waited for child protective services.
โThe baby has now been placed with a legal guardian,โ added Wood. โHe is safe at this time and under the supervision of CPS.โ

Just kidding! Thereโs more to this letter than just that. Chris, how do we love thee? Let us count the ways.
We certainly canโt be the only ones to have loved you since the Princess Diaries: A Royal Engagement days. Only you Chris, the Blue Eyed Boy, could turn that ridiculous uncalled for sequel into a bittersweet rumination on getting older. From then, youโve made impeccable career choices, headlining the surprisingly good Star Trek reboots, played our guilty pleasure action hero of choice Jack Ryan โ everybodyโs favourite LSE student turned crack CIA agent โ a dastardly secret agent thwarting Tom Hardyโs romantic endeavours in the terrible (or terribly good?) This Means War and sending up your Prince Charming persona in Into The Woods. Bonus points for this scene, which is everything, and will be on repeat in some circle of heaven whenever we get there.
So basically your movie choices are great. Thank you for years (and years and years) of cinematic joy.
But we think this year, your 36th, will be the best year of all. For it is in this year that you will take arms in the Wonder Woman film, surely the most hotly-anticipated movie in the marie claire office.
Of that film, where you play Steve Trevor, a man who will by stand by while Gal Gadotโs Wonder Woman saves the world, you have been unapologetically feminist. And for that, we love you even more.
โItโll be a fucking blast,โ you said about your casting. โI couldnโt be happier to be supporting Gal in whatโs going to be the first [DC] female-driven superhero film. I think in the world today weโve had plenty enough of male-driven everything. Itโs finally time to see how wonderful the world can be with beautiful, strong intelligent women kicking some major ass.โ
Itโs not the first time you went full feminist, and thatโs simply another reason why you are our Forever Internet Boyfriend.
โThe masculine footprint in the world is so violent and obviously it hasnโt relaly gotten us anywhere,โ you said in an interview with Du Jour. โTo have a strong woman [in action movies]โฆ I think we can start injecting this world with a little bit more of the ideology of compassion, love and positive moral strength rather than something destructive.โ
Chris, you are the male feminist hero we not only need and deserve, a man that is not afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve, and who will happily take a supporting role in a superheroine movie not because you want to endear yourself to the female audience โ consider that ship to have well and truly sailed โ but because you just love the team, damn it. And when that team includes a female director, who you loved working with and whose praises you have sung at ComicCons around the world, we just canโt help but love you more.
And who can forget that time when you shed one beautiful tear at last yearโs Oscars, while Common and John Legend were performing the heart out of Selmaโs hit single โGloryโ. The Internet wonโt let you forget it, and even though you took some heat for that truly handsome tear, you had a typical unapologetic response. โIt was a wonderful performance and it was really movingโฆ I would say as an actor, [thatโs] the only time in my life that I think I will be able to produce a single tear down my face.โ
Youโre not afraid to completely re-write the rule books on masculinity. In fact, thatโs something you actually said yourself โ when appearing on the cover of Out magazine, you fantastic human โ when you said โI think thereโs a growing homogenisation of what masculinity meansโฆ Bare chested. Very tan. White. Brown hair, blue eyes, perfect skin. That is soโฆ not real.โ
You are the definition of an Internet Boyfriend. You are a โparagon of enlightened masculinity.โ You have a degree from Berkeley โ in English! For crying out loud! โ youโre a student of cinema. You make the big blockbusters, sure, but you also take time to do theatre, which youโve always said is your true passion. Youโre favourite meal is a bottle of red wine and a bowl of pasta. You famously love words (like a good English major). Youโre a friend to the LGBTQI community. You hug all of your fans, who call themselves by the adorable name the Pine-Nuts. You are a fan of period dramas, just like us.
โI just remember this shot of [the leading man] walking through the grass with the coattails and the white pants and the riding boots, walking through some English countryside,โ you have said. โAnd I was like โ goddamn. He is such a man! Strong and purposeful and going toward his beloved. I wanted to walk like that.โ
So on that note: Happy birthday, Chris Pine. We love you.
Sincerely, marie claire*
*Okay, so no member of marie claire officially endorsed this article. My editor gave me (and I quote) โfree reignโ. And I definitely took it! Happy Birthday Chris Pine.

The Duchess of Cambridge was a vision in red when she stepped out with Prince William to visit the YoungMinds mental health helpline facility in London.
The 34-year-old mother of two stunned in a bold red frock by her go-to designer LK Bennett โ the second in as many days.
The bright frock, which retails for around $560, had short sleeves and an A-line skirt, and she paired the look with suede pumps by Gianvito Rossi and a nude clutch.
Kate wore her hair in a elegant half-up style for the occasion.
The royal couple made the visit as part of their Heads Together campaign to raise awareness around mental health.
โAs a parent, and as a mother, having that feeling that there is somebody there that is non-judgemental, that can provide the professional support, can really provide a helping hand at a really difficult time,โ Kate said.
The pair met wit some of the volunteers โ one of whom was comedian James Cordernโs sister โ Ruth who man the phones and take over 1000 calls every month.
Speaking after the visit, William told the charityโs chief executive Sarah Brennan: โIt is important that parents understand that you canโt be brilliant at everything. It is totally fine to talk about it and to seek help and to speak out, because weโre not all superheroes.โ
โThere is a lot of pressure on parents, and most of it is self-made by parents themselves, where you feel you have to be able to handle everything. You have to show strength and resilience to everything. But there are some times when it all gets too much and you need to reach out, and thatโs totally fine.โ

In a cruel twist of fate, it has been revealed that Mia Ayliffe-Chung, who was fatally stabbed at Shelleyโs Backpackers Hostel in Home Hill, Townsville earlier this week, was never meant to be there.
The 21-year-old waitress from Gold Coast made a last minute decision not to go to the Sunshine Coast as origionally planned.
The Gold Coast Bulletin reports that Ayliffe-Chung was due to stay on a farm to work in order to extend her visa, but she had a bad Vibe from the farm boss.
Sam Gostelow who was travelling with her tells the publication that the man had โsounded oddโ when they called to confirm.
โMia said, โWe either go together or not at all.'โ

Heโs worked with everyone from Jennifer Alba to Hailey Baldwin. Heโs the ambassador for luxury skincare brand Creme de la Mer, and his Instagram feed is wall-to-wall Hadids and Kardashians.
Yep, you could say that make-up artist Patrick Ta is kind of a big deal.
This week Ta revealed the secrets behind the โglowโ that he bestows upon his famous clients, including Gigi Hadid.
He told Hello magazine: โGigi is my muse and she has helped my career so much. I met her when she had 100,000 followers on Instagram; now she has 20 million and she has taken me along for the ride.
โI am so honoured. She is the epitome of gorgeous professionalism, as is her sister Bella. They both work so hard and are even more beautiful in person.โ
The trick to glowing skin is simple, he says. Along with properly hydrated skin, he advocates using โtwo shades of foundation and concealer, keeping the centre panel peak of the forehead, the middle of the face and around and under the eyes in two upside down triangles, the end of the chin and the Cupidโs bow two shades lighter than the outside of the face. That way, your eyes focus on the light that comes from the face, to make it look like it has been lit from within.โ

She made her debut on TV for The Bachelorette, and now sheโs making waves on breakfast radio for Sydney station 2DAY FM. Here, she chats to us about her beauty routine (and early wakeups!), favourite beauty products, fitness routine, and more.
Now that youโre doing morning radio, how are you finding the change with waking up early?
I can definitely say itโs been a change, and itโs all about doing everything quite quickly in the morning and prep the night before. For example my beauty routine in the morning is down to 5-10 minutes meaning at night I spend more time looking after my skin and doing hair treatments.
What about makeup โ do you find that you still have to wear makeup even though youโre on radio?
Yes I do actually, because everything is filmed and recorded. Plus weโve always got guests and you always want to look presentable in front of them, and your colleagues. Casual and effortless is my go-to.
Whatโs your makeup look during the day?
[Itโs] simple: a little tinted moisturiser or foundation, some blush and mascara, Lucasโ Pawpaw with a little lip liner and nicely moisturised skin.
Whatโs your go-to makeup look for a red carpet event?
My go-to would be lashes and brows, but I like to change up the overall look event to event. I think some stylists can get carried away and change your look, but what always works for me is feeling pretty while looking like me.
JBronze Medium Tanning Mousse gives the perfect glow. Always moisturise your elbows, hands, knees and ankles before applying!
Alpha Keri Heat-activating Firming and Slimming Serum. Use it after you scrub and before you use body butter, daily. I put it on, I can feel it doing its thing and it just works!
Lucasโ Pawpaw Ointment. Iโm never without this. It just works and can be used all the time. Sometimes all I wear on my lips is Pawpaw and a little lip liner.

Adam Hilarie met Hailey Rose Bustos on dating website, PlentyOfFish. He picked her up, they went bowling and then went back to his place for another drink.
After their date Bustos texted the single father about what a great time she had had and that she wanted to meet up again the following day.
The next night Hilarie, 27, was shot dead in the kitchen of his Central Florida home.
According to The Washington Post, the 18-year-old woman showed up at Hilarieโs door with three men, at least one of whom had a gun.
(Credit: Auburndale Police Department)
โHilarie was begging for his life, he was not putting up any kind of fight, and was telling them that he had a 5-year-old daughter,โ according to arrest reports obtained by the Orlando Sentinel.
After shooting the man, the suspects left the scene with a number of items including TVs and Xbox and and Iphone.
Police say Bustos was reportedly paid $50 for her role in the robbery.
Hilarieโs brother Johnny Jackson told The Washington Post was a loving father who was always cracking jokes.
โHe really loved his daughter,โ Jackson said. โThat was his world.โ

How many times would you say youโve watched The Devil Wears Prada? Weโre happy to admit weโve seen it more than a few times, but weโre willing to bet no one has watched it more than John Krasinski.
The actor, who is married to the filmโs star Emily Blunt, told E! News this week that heโs watched the film, a lot.
โThere was one day when it was on and I said it was so good and Emily said, โHave you seen this movie?โ I said, โA lot of times.โ She said, โThatโs so sweet, but how many times?โ Luckily, we had been dating for about a year so there was a lot of trust built up and I said, โLike, 75.'โ
Initially, The Office star says he tried to hide from his then girlfriend just how many times he had watched it, so much so that she thought he was into porn.
โWe had just started dating and she had come over to my house. She popped by in between some things and I was watching it,โ he said. โShe opened the door and I flipped the channel and she looked at me like, โWere you just watching porn?โโฆI think it was better for me at the time for her to think I was watching porn than watching The Devil Wears Prada for the seventy-fifth time.โ

Sydney journalist Brianna Parkins recently competed in Irelandโs Rose of Tralee pageant, a pageant that judges women all over the world with Irish Heritage on their personality, not their appearance.
Parkins took a step to ensure she exhibited the pageantโs values of encouraging โconfident, bold and articulateโ women by talking about what she views as one of the biggest issues facing women in Ireland today: abortion laws.
โI think we can do better here in Ireland. I think it is time to give women a say on their own reproductive rights,โ she said. โI would love to see a referendum on the Eighth coming up soon. That would be my dream.โ
She referred to the โEight Amendmentโ of the Constitution of Ireland, which introduced a right to life of an unborn child, and made a constitutional ban on abortion in Ireland in 1983, and is still in effect today.
She received uproarious applause from the audience for her comments, and though Chicago contestant Maggie Rose McEldowney won, Parkins made a big impact on the crowd. The festival is not usually political, but many Irish people got in touch with her to show their support. They praised her for being unconventional in the pageant format and using her platform to address something she was passionate about.

Shouts go up and a firefighter lifts a shocked 10-year-old girl out from the rubble, as cheers ring out.
This emotional moment โshowing a young girl being rescued from the rubble, 17 hours after an earthquake struck Italy โ has been captured by SKY news.
The incredible footage shows the young girl, still apparently wearing her pajamas, clinging to her rescuer.
It is one of the few positive scenes to emerge from the disaster.
The earthquake struck central Italy at 3am local time, meaning many people were buried alive as they slept. So far the death toll stands at 159. However, hundreds more have been injured.
The three towns that have been worst affected โ Amatrice, Accumoli and Pescara del Tronto โ are known as popular holiday towns. As itโs the height of summer in Italy at the moment, many of the victims are thought to be on holiday from Rome.
Rescuers have worked through the night to find survivors, according to the ABC. However, because the area is a popular holiday destination with lots of second homes, itโs not known how many of the houses were occupied.
According to the ABC, rescuers have been frantically trying to enlist locals to help them identify where the houses bedrooms are located, as its thought that most people were asleep when the earthquake struck.
โRight now we feel terrible pain,โ Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi has said according to CNN. โItaly is a family that has been hit and struck, but we are not going to be stopped.โ

The Duchess opted for a dress the archives for the occasion, donning the same floral LK Bennett Poppy Print dress that she wore during her Royal Tour of Australia in 2014.
Kate accessorised the look with her favourite nude LK Bennett pumps, a matching clutch ad diamond drop earrings.
During the Youthscape visit, Kate chatted with teens who were baking in the centreโs kitchen, and revealed her son, Prince George, 3, is quite the messy chef.
โSo, what are you making? This smells seriously good,โ she asked of their chocolate creation. โWhat are you putting in? Is this just chocolate? Golden syrup? Good, good.โ
โWhen I try to do this with George at home, chocolate and the golden syrup goes everywhere,โ the stylish duchess said. โHe makes so much mess. Itโs chaos.โ

Cate Campbell did Australia proud at the Rio 2016 Olympics this year, representing us in the 4 x 100 freestyle team event, the 4 x 100m medley team event, and the 50m and 100m freestyle events.
She helped bring home a gold medal as part of the 4 x 100m freestyle team, and a silver medal as part of the 4 x 100m medley team, which her sister Bronte also competed in. Unfortunately, she missed out on medals in the 50m and 100m freestyle events, despite beating the Olympic record in the heats and semifinals (with times of 52.87 and 52.71 seconds).
โItโs a hard one because, I donโt want to reflect on it.โ
โEvery time I do, I feel overwhelmed with embarrassment and shame.โ
At this point her sister Bronte jumped in and said, โCate has nothing to be ashamed of.โ
Though Cate has recently suffered a hernia, she told The Australian that this would have had no impact on her performance.
โI want it to be very clear that I do not make any excuses for my poor performances this past week,โ she said.
She is set to undergo surgery in October for the hernia, for the second time in 12 months.
Win or no win, Bronte is right โ Cate did Australia proud and she swum her heart out at the games, and we should all be focusing on her incredible successes!

Chilling details continue to emerge surrounding the horrific rape and murder of teacher Stephanie Scott.
The court has heard how Vincent Stanfordโs twin brother Marcus, who was also charged with being an accessory to the murder, was sent Scottโs engagement rings in the mail and sold them at a pawn shop.
Recordings, from when Marcus was in Sydneyโs Silverwater Jail, heard the pair discussing Scottโs engagement ring.
The pawn shop confirmed they bought the two rings from Stanford for $705.
โThe offenderโs motivation was, to use his term, misguided loyalty to his brother,โ Justice Robert Hulme told the court during the sentencing hearing.
โIt was the act of a man who put morality and human decency secondary to the interests of his murderous brother. I am satisfied he must have known that the two rings had been stolen โ in the context of the murder of a woman who was much loved by her family and in her community โ and who was looking forward to her impending marriage to the man she loved.โ
Marcus was sentenced to 15 months in jail without parole, which means with time served he will be released on September 9.

Startling photos of French police ordering a woman to remove clothing to enforce the burkini ban on a beach in Nice have gone viral.
Nice implanted the ban in the wake of the recent terrorist attacks in the country, banning clothing that โovertly manifests adherence to a religion at a time when France and places of worship are the target of terrorist attacksโ, reports the Guardian.
The images of three officers standing over a woman as she is forned to remove her clothing have sparked outrage.
Anouar Kbibech, the president of the Council of the Muslim Faith (CFCM), said he was โconcerned over the direction the public debate is takingโ, citing the โgrowing fear of stigmatisation of Muslims in Franceโ.
Kbibech has requested an urgent meeting with French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve, reports Nine News.
This is the second incident in a matter of days, with a 34-year-old mother also fined on a Cannes beach for not wearing โan outfit respecting good morals and secularismโ.
โI was sitting on a beach with my family,โ she told The Guardian. โI was wearing a classic headscarf. I had no intention of swimming.โ
โThe saddest thing was that people were shouting โgo homeโ, some were applauding the police,โ added Mathilde Cousin, who witnessed the scene. โHer daughter was crying.โ

Jennifer Lopez and her longtime love Casper Smart have called it quits after five years together.
The pair have been together since 2011, despite a brief split in 2014.
People has confirmed the news, with a source telling the magazine that the 47-year-old pop star has been separated from her younger beau for โa few weeksโ.
โIt wasnโt anything dramatic and they were on good terms โ it just came to a natural end,โ the source added. โThey will remain friends and they see each other, but they are not together. It was very amiable.โ
29-year-old Casper gushed over his โbeautifulโ girlfriend back in March.
โSheโs sweet, funny, nice, easygoing and gracious,โ he told People. โYou canโt ask for anything more.โ
โWe donโt really go out very much,โ he added.
โWe both donโt drink, we donโt do any drugs, smoking, pills or any of the craziness. We donโt get wrapped up in the Hollywood life that can chew you up and spit you out. Iโve seen it happen a million times.โ
The pair were last spotted on August 13 in Las Vegas for JLoโs Caesarโs Palace show, where the couple were joined by her ex husband Marc Anthony and his new girlfriend Shannon de Lima.

While at first there were fears the brutal stabbing of 21-year-old British backpacker Mia Ayliffe-Chung was terror related, police are said to be now investigating whether there was a romantic connection between the pair.
29-year-old Frenchman Smail Ayad has been accused of the stabbing Ayliffe-Chung to death at Shelleyโs Backpackershostel in Home Hill, Townsville, on Tuesday evening.
News Corp reports that Ayad had โfawned overโ Ayliffe-Chung for days and became enraged when the feelings were not reciprocated.
A fellow British backpacker Thomas Jackson, 30, was also injured in the attack after he tried to come to her aid. He is now fighting for his life in hospital.
Fears the man had possible links to terrorism were also being investigated after the man was heard screaming โAllahu Akbarโ by police and up to 30 witnesses.
โWhile this information will be factored into the investigation we are not ruling out any motivations at this stage, whether they be political or criminal,โ said Queensland Police Service Deputy Commissioner Steve Gollschewski.
โWeโre working closely with our partner agencies to make sure if there is any indication that it has an extremist slant, or this person had been radicalised, we can discover that.
โInvestigators will also consider whether mental health or drug misuse factors are involved in this incident.โ
After being taken into custody, Ayad who is a former kickboxing champion, continued to show aggression, and allegedly attacked officers as they restrained him.
โEverybody has told us he was completely crazy, they couldnโt recognise him,โ a French tourist told The Australian.
โHe said he wants to kill everybody โฆ maybe there is ยญalcohol and drugs involved.โ
Tributes have been pouring in for the 21-year-old from across the globe.
Former boyfriend Jamison Stead took to Instagram to share photos of the pair, writing โRest In Peace Mia. Thank you for the memories.โ
While her step father, Stewart Cormack, fought back tears in an interview on British TV according to ABC.
โMia was a rare person who saw beyond race, creed and belief. She would always treat others with dignity, respect and kindness,โ he said.
โJust seeing her outward appearance could not give you an inkling of how wonderful she was emotionally, socially and mentally. As a peaceful person Mia had huge respect for everybody.โ

On Monday, Sydney mother Sandra Tee posted distressing footage of her five-week-old baby suffering from a Whooping Cough episode in a bid to educate families on the importance of vaccinations.
The video, posted to her Facebook page shows young Heidi struggling to breathe in a hospital bed and being supplied with oxygen, however the mother of two urges parents not to ignore the warning signs writing on Facebook โour baby girl only had a slight cough to start.โ
โWhooping cough is not always a loud obvious cough. The scary symptom for babies is when they donโt cough but silently choke and turn purple/blue from lack of oxygen.โ
The video has been viewed almost 400,000 times and sends a critical message about vaccinating children showing what can happen when babies donโt get vaccinated and sadly what happens when they are too young like Heidi.
โBabies rely on herd immunity to keep them safe and unfortunately we cannot achieve that without high vaccination rates.โ
Tee went on to say โIf we werenโt in hospital and sitting watching out baby 24/7 the outcome would be fatal.โ
โPlease share this to educate more people on the importance of vaccinations.โ
Tee said her husband has been amazing and they are taking shifts to watch over little Heidi until she recovers.

Lara Worthingtonโs signature blonde beach waves and perfect, perennial sun-kissed glow are just a couple of the reasons we canโt get enough of the home-grown model.
Not only does she juggle running her successful beauty and skin care brand The Base by Lara Bingle, she also has a one-year-old son, Rocket and is expecting her second child. So when the busy mum, currently residing in New York City, spilled her beauty secrets and favourite products in an interview with The Vault Online, we definitely paid attention.
Here are Laraโs best beauty lessons:
#1/ There is always time to exercise
Laraโs exercise of choice is Skype Ballet, a program she was introduced to by fellow Aussie and NYC resident, actress Phoebe Tonkin. โItโs such a great workout and you donโt even have to leave your house,โ she says, โYeah Iโm busy, but who isnโt?โ
Post workout the model uses Aesop Geranium Leaf Body Wash, and adds Epsom salts โto a really hot bath to relax and soothe my muscles.โ
#2/ Donโt forget to hydrate
While she claims โswimming in the sea and drinking waterโ are the secrets to a clear, radiant complexion, she also turns to a few products, including traditional scrubs and dry brushing everyday to โhelp shed dead skin cells and stimulate blood circulation.โ Her go-to body products are Kiehlโs Crรจme de Corps and her own The Base by Lara Bingle Body Glow Oil. โItโs super hydrating and smells like coconut, which gives you good holiday vibes,โ she says.

Winter is upon us, and not just because of the cold weather. Game of Thrones is over for the year, we have to wait even LONGER for the next season, and there are going to be even less episodes than usual.
Luckily (or unluckily, depending on how you look at it), Maisie Williams has given us a little taste of whatโs to come. And it sounds really good.

โTwo women, one procedure, 48 hours away from home.โ
So reads the Twitter bio of @TwoWomenTravel, an account set up by a pregnant woman and her friend (not pictured) on Saturday. The purpose? To document their journey from Ireland to the UK for an abortion.
In Ireland, abortion is illegal (unless the motherโs life is at risk). According to figures attained by the ABC via the Irish Family Planning Association, last year alone, 3451 women travelled to the UK from Ireland for the procedure. In single digits: 9 people each day.
The duo shared snaps of their journey โ train carriages, hospital rooms and stained sheets. In their words: โWe wanted to share the very ordinariness of the situation โ we wanted to show it for what it is; a series of waiting rooms, moments in transit, a sequence of tediums protracted by stigma. No filters, no monologues, just the facts.โ
The Tweets were directed at Irish Taoiseach (Prime Minister) Enda Kenny; he has remained silent on the matter, but tens of thousands have Tweeted their support for the women, including TV presenter James Corden and prominent Irish journalist Una Mullally.
On returning home, @TwoWomenTravel wrote: โWe had to travel because our government insists that we pretend this isnโt happening โฆ Our journey ends here tonight, but the struggle for our reproductive freedom continues. We hope that the outpouring of public support encourages more women to document their experiences, to highlight the issue, and to stand with us in the battle for control over our own bodies.โ

Kidnap victim Natascha Kampuschโs story shocked the public when she escaped from her captor ten years ago. Today, she lives part-time at the house in Austria where she was kept captive.
She was just 18 when she managed to flee Wolfgang Priklopilโs house, where she had been kept for eight years. He had kidnapped her as a sex slave, and she had been kept in a hidden room behind a cupboard door leading to the garage.
Now 28 years old, she has given a detailed account for the first time of the moment she chose to escape,The Sun reports.
Cupboard door leading to hidden room.
She told German newspaper BILD about what happened.
โI was told to clean his car,โ she said. โHe wanted to sell it and had told me to clean it really thoroughly and completely. I remember that I felt like I could eat a horse because I had to make him jam sandwiches for breakfast but got nothing myself.โ
โPreviously he has observed me all the time. But because of the vacuum cleaner whirring in my hand he had to walk a few steps away to better understand his caller.
โI could hardly breathe. I felt solidified, as if my arms and legs were paralysed. Jumbled images shot through me.
โI looked to the right and left without knowing which way to go. Then I ran.โ
Inside the room where she was held captive.
She ran into a couple of guys who she asked for help, but they ignored her, so she ran to a woman who was in her garden shed. The woman called the police, and Natascha was soon reunited with her mother. Her kidnapper committed suicide that day by running onto train tracks.
Natascha has written a book about her life since escaping, called Ten Years Of Freedom. She has acquired the house of her kidnapper and spends a lot of time there, due to the memories she has there from her formative years.

Whilst most celebrities would ignore inappropriate tweets from fans, former Sexiest Man Alive Ryan Reynolds has been responding in the greatest way.
The 39-year-old actor has been receiving sexual advances from Twitter users, and he shuts them down perfectly.
For example, when one user asked Reynolds to โf*** me until I dieโ, the Deadpool star turned him down by tweeting about washing the feet of former child star, Kirk Cameron, who recently received hate for saying wives should do whatever their husbands tell them to.
Sorry to miss it. Just washing Kirk Cameron's feet with liquid prayer. https://t.co/6YdnngAjdQ
Ryan responded to a tweet asking him to โeat my assโ by replying with, โAww. Just planting fresh flowers at a local community center right now.โ
Aww. Just planting fresh flowers at a local community center right now. https://t.co/FElu93uTrD
The Canadian actor even brought his wife Blake Lively, who is pregnant with their second child, into the tweets by suggesting that she might be involved.
When a fan asked what the 28-year-old thought of the โfan requestsโ, he replied saying, โPretty sure itโs my wife writing most of those. Sounds like her.โ

It looks like Kate Hudsonโs secret weapon for maintaining her perfectly sculpted derriere is the Booty Belt.
Never one to shy away from serving up all of the gymspiration the 37-year-old mother of two shared a snap on Instagram describing the contraption as her โNew obsession.โ
Dominic Banks, a personal trainer from Oregon, is the brain behind the Booty Belt phenomenon. He says it was designed specifically for the glutes but has been hailed as the new Thigh Master as it also targets and tones the thighs and abs.
After Hudsonโs post about the Booty Belt, Banks claims he sold 200 belts in less than 24 hours โ at $115 a piece.
โI had maybe $700 in the bank when the today show called me,โ he told US Weekly. โIt was in 2014, the weekend of the super bowl. They did a video โ and thatโs when the national boom happened.โ
Weโre just going to put it out there, if itโs good enough for Kate itโs good enough for us.

The origins of the trend are actually in the drag community (stay with us), where itโs used as a way to prolong stage makeup.
Essentially, baking involves allowing translucent powder to sit on skin so that your body heat โcooksโ your foundation and concealer. The technique effectively sets your complexion products and allows skin and product to bond, leaving you with a long-lasting, smooth, flawless and poreless visage.
The result is an uber-matte complexion and basically the complete opposite of strobing and highlighting.
If you want to give it a go (and be warned: this is not a trend for fans of a dewy complexion), hereโs what you will need:
ยท Foundation
ยท Cream concealer
ยท Loose translucent powder
ยท Fluffy brush
ยท Sponge
ยท Wedge sponge
1#
Apply your foundation as usual, then tap concealer under your eyes* and work it into skin with a damp sponge. Now apply a second, sheer coat of concealer.
2#
Dip the brush into the powder and dust over the whole thing.
3#
Mist the wedge sponge with a setting spray, dip it into the powder and press over the area.
4#
Kick back for 5-10 minutes.
5#
Use the brush to remove excess powder.
*For a super-defined and highlighted look, repeat this process on the high points of the face โ cheekbones, bridge of the nose, chin and forehead.

We feel obligated to point out that this technique was designed to withstand hot stage and photography lights, so what might look stunning in your selfies might not quite fly IRL.

The cleaner who killed teacher Stephanie Scott last year has come before the court and revealed horrifying details of what happened for the first time.
The Daily Telegraph reports among the most shocking details that the cleaner, Vincent Stanford, prepared a โrape kitโ, which he used to sexually assault and kill Stephanie Scott with.
Facts tendered by the Crown say that Stanford had been waiting for a 12-year-old child at the school, but he came across Stephanie Scott instead. When he discovered her, he went home, got his rape kit, and came back.
โAs she walked along the corridor after exiting the administration building Stephanie encountered Vincent Stanford who had been waiting for her, she said to him, โIโm going home now, have a Happy Easterโ,โ court documents state.
When she was trying to leave the premises, Stanford grabbed her from behind and took her away.
โStephanie Scott was struggling and trying to yell as Vincent Stanford was dragging her towards the store room,โ court documents say.
After raping her, he punched her in the face many times, then killed her by stabbing her in the neck. He left her body in her car, eventually driving it to his home. Then in the morning, he drove it to Cocoparra National Park.
โ(He) removed Stephanieโs naked body from the boot of her car and placed her on the ground. He then placed tree branches of differing sizes over her lower torso before pouring petrol onto the branches and setting her alight.โ
He was arrested a few days after this happened, and confessed to the crime in a police interview on April 11. He will be sentenced in October.
ABC News also reports that Stanfordโs twin brother Marcus, who has been accused of being an accessory to the murder, was sent Scottโs engagement rings in the mail and sold them for about $700 at a pawn shop.
He has been sentenced to 15 months in jail for being an accessory after the fact to her murder.

Courteney Cox talked to Bear Grylls on Running Wild with Bear Grylls on Monday during an adventure to Ireland.
When Bear asked her if there was pressure to look a certain way after her fame from Friends, Courteney got real with him about the pressures on women in Hollywood.
โYeah, for sure,โ she said. โI think thereโs a pressure to maintain that, and not just because of fame, but being a woman in this business.
โGetting older โ I donโt think thatโs the easiest thing, but I have learned lessons.โ
She opened up about her experience with cosmetic procedures, saying that she hasnโt been proud of her choices.
โI think I was trying to keep up with getting older. I was trying to chase that, something you canโt keep up with. So the more you relax into it, and the less I tryโฆ because sometimes you find yourself trying and then you look at a picture of yourself and go โOh god!โ, you look horrible.
โI have done things I regret, and luckily, theyโre things that dissolve and go away. So thatโs good, because itโs not always been my best look.โ
But she also spoke about the good things about getting older. She has loved watching her daughter, Coco Arquette, grow up, and looks forward to helping her through life.
โIโm glad Iโve been through it, and learned enough now to actually help her get through it.โ

An 18-year-old US school student has had rape charges dismissed after sexually assaulting two unconscious 18-year-old women.
David Becker was accused of penetrating the victims with his finger while they were sleeping, and they woke up to the assault.
According to MassLive.com, the police report included this statement: โVictim 1 stated that she had heard that in the past Mr. Becker had done this to other girls and that his friends sometimes refer to him as โDavid the Rapist.โโ
Though prosecutors originally recommended that he serve two years in jail, David Becker has been handed a punishment of two years probation, and as long as he follows the terms of the probation, he wonโt have to register as a sex offender. He will have to remain โdrug and alcohol freeโ, and he will have to stay away from the two girls he assaulted. But besides that, he can enjoy the freedom of a regular citizen, News.com.au reports.
Beckerโs lawyer, Thomas Rooke, released a statement following the announcement of the sentencing, which has left many people gob-smacked.
โHe can now look forward to a productive life without being burdened with the stigma of having to register as a sex offender.
โThe goal of this sentence was not to impede this individual from graduating high school and to go on to the next step of his life, which is a college experience.
โWe all made mistakes when we were 17, 18, 19 years old, and we shouldnโt be branded for life with a felony offence and branded a sex offender โฆ Putting this kid in jail for two years would have destroyed this kidโs life.โ
This kind of lenient sentence is not uncommon, in fact his case sounds extraordinarily similar to Brock Turner, who got only 6 months of jail as his sentence for the assault of an unconscious woman on campus.

Forbes just released their list of highest paid actresses for 2016, and Jennifer Lawrence has topped the list for the second year in a row.
Before tax, she earned $46 million, which was largely due to two movies โ the final Hunger Games film and her upcoming movie Passengers, which also stars Chris Pratt. Jennifer Lawrence is also youngest on the top 10 list at 26 years old.
1. Jennifer Lawrence: $46 million 2. Melissa McCarthy: $33 million 3. Scarlett Johansson: $25 million 4. Jennifer Aniston: $21 million 5. Fan Bingbing: $17 million 6. Charlize Theron: $16.5 million 7. Amy Adams: $13.5 million 8. Julia Roberts: $12 million 9. Mila Kunis: $11 million 10. Peedika Padukone: $10 million
Melissa McCarthy came in at second, and even though Scarlett Johansson is the highest grossing actress of all time according to Forbes, she came in third.
Forbes has yet to release their list of highest paid actors for 2016, but there is still a pay gap in the industry, something Jennifer Lawrence has fought very vocally to fix. Last year, Robert Downey Jr was the highest paid actor, earning $80 million before tax, which almost makes Jennifer Lawrenceโs $46 million look like small change! Though she topped the list of highest paid actresses, she only came in at #49 in the list of highest paid celebrities.
Hopefully this will be something to change in the future with more women like Jennifer Lawrence fighting for pay equality in the industry.

A man broke into a house in rural Alabama where his girlfriend was hiding and killed five of the residents, including a pregnant woman.
Derrick Dearman (pictured above, left), was looking for his girlfriend, Laneta Lester (pictured above, right). She was staying at her brotherโs house in order to escape an abusive relationship with Derrick, reports The Huffington Post.
The family called the emergency line early on Saturday morning to report Dearman trespassing on the property, however police could not find him. Derrick snuck into the house later and killed five of the residents while they slept, kidnapping one of the children, who was 3-months-old, and Laneta.
Police report that he used โmultiple instrumentsโ to carry out the killings, including firearms.
The victims were: Robert Lee Brown, 26; Chelsea Marie Reed, 22, who was five months pregnant; Justin Kaleb Reed, 23; Joseph Adam Turner, 26; and Shannon Melissa Randall, 35.
Dearman later released Lester and the child and turned himself in to police. He is expected to face six counts of capital murder (including one for the unborn child).
Dearman had a history of abuse, yet was still able to legally access firearms. As The Huffington Post has previously reported, most mass shootings in America are linked to domestic violence.

He was 16, a student at Citrus Valley High School in California.
She was his 20-something English teacher.
In the summer of 2012 the pair started spending time together. She would drive him home from school functions and supply him with alcohol. Then, on an excursion to Disneyland, she grabbed his hand and professed she wanted to kiss him. Shortly after, they had sex in her apartment, beginning a relationship that lasted nearly a year.
In June 2013, she gave birth to their child; the 17-year-old father was at her side.
But the teen-teacher affair wasnโt to last.
Later that year, Laura Whitehurst was arrested following a complaint from the studentโs parents. She was charged with 41 counts of unlawful sex acts with minors (including with two other students), and pleaded guilty to six.
Meanwhile the former student, whose name has been withheld, pursued legal action against the school district; itโs alleged that school officials and a fellow teacher knew about the relationship but neglected to report the abuse.
On Monday, he received a US$6 (7.86) million settlement as compensation.
โPhysically, I feel sick to my stomach thinking about the manipulation I was subjected to,โ the student, now 21, said.
โThe size of this settlement represents the gravity of the damage done to this young victim and his family, and it also highlights the extreme malfeasance and neglect by school officials who turned a blind eye to the criminal conduct of a teacher and failed to protect a student,โ added his lawyer, Vince W. Finaldo.
Whitehurst, now 29, served out six months of her one-year sentence behind bars. Today she is a registered sex offender who has been stripped of her teaching credentials, and wears a GPS-tracker at all times.
According to Redlands Daily Facts, Whitehurst is forbidden from making contact with her former student. The pair share custody of their child.

Bridget Jones captured our hearts in Bridget Jonesโs Diary (2001) and Bridget Jones: The Edge Of Reason (2004), and Renee Zellweger famously had to put on 15kg for the role. But for the new movie, Bridget Jonesโ Baby, it was a different story.
Though Zellweger was ready to put on the weight again, director Sharon Maguire had other ideas. Zellweger recently revealed in an interview with News.com.au why they made this choice.
โSharon was hoping we could show that Bridget had achieved her ideal weight, but at the same time it didnโt mean her life was perfect.
โI wasnโt sure about that one though because we all have something we think is wrong, that needs fixing, that in our own minds represents the ideal that we are meant to obtain. And I like the idea that that stays with us throughout our lives,โ she said.
Hugh Grant (Daniel Cleaver) will not be returning to this movie โ instead a new man is on the scene, Jack, played by Patrick Dempsey! Colin Firth (Mark Darcy) will be returning, however the twist this time is that Bridget Jones is pregnant, and Bridget doesnโt know whose child it isโฆ
Watch the trailer here:
Renee Zellweger and Patrick Dempsey are currently in Australia promoting the new film, which comes out September 15.

Thereโs no denying that the Kardashians/Jenners have nailed the whole social media thing.
From the most liked Instagram posts of all time, to clocking up more followers than most celebrities combined, itโs no surprise that theyโre making major bank off their posts.
But According to Page Six, momager Kris Jenner has been issued legal letter from Truth In Advertising Inc. accusing the family of using โdeceptive marketing campaignsโ.
The non-profit watchdog say they found โa plethora of posts that do not clearly or conspicuously disclose their relationships with the companies being promoted in the posts as is required by federal law.โ
The organization has given the family time to rectify the offending posts, which include mentions of companies including Puma, Calvin Klein, Jetsmarter, FitTea, Estee Lauder and Karl Lagerfeld, as listed in the letter.
โThe law is clear and people are not following it, and itโs not being enforced very often,โ TINA spokeswoman Bonnie Patten told Page Six.
โConsumers have the right to know when theyโre looking at paid advertising,โ added Jessica Rich, director of the FTCโs Bureau of Consumer Protection.
A number of the familyโs posts have already been updated to feature #sp or #spon.

A six-year-oldโs daily walk to school turned tragic this week, with the news that a South African schoolkid was killed attempting to save his mother from a rapist on their school run.
Kutlwano Garesape, six, his eight-year-old brother Thabiso and their mother Segomotso, 42, were walking to their school in Jan Kempdorp in Northern South Africa after missing their usual morning bus.
While walking they were accosted by an assailant brandishing a broken bottle, who attempted to rob the family. When they couldnโt produce any cash, the man forced himself upon Segomotso, The Daily Mailreports.
Segomotso recalls her assailant pulling up her skirt. โ[I] realised that he wanted to rape me in front of my children,โ she told The Daily Mail.
But her six-year-old son wouldnโt let that happen. โKutlwano slapped the man across the face and told him to let go of me. He kept on screaming, โLet go of my mommy! It is my mommy!โ While slapping and kicking the man.โ
As Kutlwano bravely tried to save his mother, the attacker struck him to the floor and then proceeded to stab him repeatedly. Segomotso attempted to save her son, running to a nearby main road screaming for help, but none came.
โAll the cars just drove past as I cried and screamed that a man is killing my child,โ Segomotso told The Daily Mail.
Shortly afterwards, the assailant fled the scene, leaving Kutlwanoโs body on the nearby railway tracks.
โI picked Kutlwano up and held him to my chest. He told me to hold him and I sat down on the railway line and held him to my chestโฆ He asked me to kiss him and I did. He then stretched out his hand to his brother. When I held him to my chest again, his arms fell to the side and I knew he was dead.โ
Police arrested a 32-year-old man in relation to the crime, and he has since appeared in court on the charge of murdering a six-year-old boy. His court appearance was picketed by community groups, protesting the magistrate to refuse bail.
โThis angers the community as this incident now inflicts fear in all of us and we feel that we are not safe. As a parent, you know really worry about the safety of your children,โ community members told The Independent outside the court.

Jennifer Hawkins has just signed on for two more years as the face of Myer, and is about to walk their Spring 16 fashion show tonight.
After four months of filming Australiaโs Next Top Model non-stop, she took a much-needed break with her husband, Jake Wall, to Positano in Italy. But preparation for the Myer runway show didnโt stop there! She told us about her favourite workouts, and what she did to be able to eat as much pasta as possible.
โYou do have to be at your best fitness level to be in a cossie [on the runway]. So to be able to eat relatively what I wanted, I was exercising every day!โ
She said it involved โrunning and lots of resistance trainingโ. โJake set up a circuit for me that I did every third day โ squats, sit ups, so I got a real sweat up!โ
When sheโs on-the-go and doesnโt have much time to workout, thereโs one move Jen will always do first.
โObliques โ abs. Theyโre my go-tos. They make me feel better when I do. I mean I hate doing abs, but you always feel better with the results. Clothes look better, you feel more supported and grounded, so theyโre my go-tos.โ
Travelling in Italy has certainly gotten her ready for summer in Australia this year. There are some exciting new fashion trends happening this coming season, like metallic fabrics, tiered maxi pieces and peasant tops, but Jen already knows what sheโs looking forward to wearing most.
โIโm always in denim jeans or denim shorts for summer, and Aje โ I just love their collection. Theyโve got this long-sleeved denim summer dress thatโs got cut-outs at the back. Itโs super sexy, but quite covered. Itโs so cool, I love it!โ
In the meantime, sheโs excited for the show and feels like sheโs living her best life.
โThe essence of Myer is that itโs so fresh and Australian, and really relatable, but theyโve also got such accessible brands and traditional brands as well. I just love the Myer team and love working for them, and it just felt right after 10 years it just feels like part of my life.โ

The story of Goncherโs wedding has gone viral over the past week, and a quick glance at the gorgeous photos by Love Stories by Halie + Alec shows exactly why.
Goncher was paralysed from the neck down after a swimming accident which damaged her spinal cord when she as 17. Doctors claimed she would never walk again, but the teenager beat the odds within months by teaching herself to stand. However, she mostly relied upon her wheelchair.
In the months leading up to her wedding, Goncher was determined that she would be able to walk down the aisle and dance with her husband.
She did โ and the pictures tell the rest of this beautiful storyโฆ.

A man accused of stomping on a Melbourneโs toddlerโs head and murdering her after she wet herself has pleaded not guilty.
Mussie Debresay, 37, is standing trial in the Victorian Supreme Court for the murder of a toddler in 2005.
The girl, who cannot be named, died of โcatastrophicโ internal injuries, according to The Daily Mail.
The girlโs brother, who was four at the time, has emerged as a key witness in the case. According to ABC, the boy told a psychologist last year that Debresay was responsible and that he could remember his sister screaming, bleeding and yelling that her back was hurting. The toddler was apparently assaulted after she wet herself.
According to The Daily Mail Debresay was in a relationship with the childrenโs mother.
Debrasayโs Dermot Dann QC, told the court the toddler had fallen from the couch and hit her head several times during the night before she died.
โThe accused man did not assault [the girl] in any way at any time,โ he said.
โAny evidence that he did โฆ is heavily in dispute.โ

Blake Lively has made headlines for her incredible body in her new film, The Shallows, in which she spends most of the time in a bikini.
The 28-year-old, who gave birth to daughter James just eight months before, underwent a grueling regime that helped her shed the pounds and get into the best shape of her life.
Blake admits that she felt pressure to bounce back, and hates the fact that she did.
โThe struggle is that I am doing a movie in a bikini eight months after having a baby and there is a level of insecurity and vanity that comes with that,โ she tells News Corp. โYou donโt want to be the person in the magazines that they are saying โugh, look at herโ rather than โwow, look at her'โ.
โThatโs a shame because there shouldnโt be that negative โughโ after someone has a baby. Your body is so beautiful. You couldnโt walk a Victoriaโs Secret runway but itโs beautiful in a completely different and incredible way and I do wish I had the bravery to go out there and represent women as they actually look.โ

Australian woman Sara Connor and British man David Taylor were accused of murdering a police officer in Bali, and gave varying accounts of what happened over the past couple of days.
Taylor fought the policeman on the beach, and Connor denies any role in the killing, saying she tried to separate the two. The fight broke out when the couple were kissing on the beach and noticed that Connorโs handbag was gone.
At first, Taylor and Connor denied details and gave explanations that didnโt make sense, however after Connor faced nine hours of questioning and Taylor had 12 hours of interrogations, their lawyers say theyโve finally come out with the truthful side of the story.
News.com.au reports the details Taylorโs lawyer Haposan Sihombing gave last night.
โWhen Sara tried to separate them David saw binoculars. David hit the victim with binoculars. After hitting the victim with binoculars, David asked โwhere is my bag?โ and the victim said โthereโ.
โAfter that David stood up and went toward the place pointed by the victim. Suddenly the man pulled his leg and David fell down. When he fell down Davidโs hand touch a sharp object which was used to hit the victim. Then he saw a mobile phone and hit the victim with that. He also saw a beer bottle and hit it to the back of the head of the victim. The victim stopped fighting.โ
Connor also claims that the victim bit her thigh and hand during the fight while she had tried to separate them. Taylor kept hitting him and eventually the body was motionless.
โThe body did not move anymore when he checked. Whether David knew he had died or not, it was not asked (by police),โ Mr Sihombing added.
โAt around 12am (Friday) they went to a place in Jimbaran by motorbike to burn their clothes that they were wearing on the night. He wrapped all the clothes. After burning it they went to the Australian Consulate.โ
The couple are currently facing murder, assault, and battery charges, and could face up to 15 years in jail.

Who could forget Chandlerโs annoying ex girlfriend Janice in Friends?
That voice. That laugh.
Actress Maggie Wheeler played the iconic character, who, despite Chandlerโs feelings for her waning and their relationship ending, became a fan favourite.
The 55-year-old, who went on to star on Californication, made an appearance on UKโs This Morning program and viewers couldnโt believe how different she sounded.
โIt was this progression of how Janice evolved and how the writers created the character for me. The laugh just happened organically,โ she said.
โMatthew Perry is so funny. I created Janiceโs laugh because I knew I needed something.โ

Police say a car driven by Sabrina Bremar three days before her body was found burning by the side of the road in Tweed Heads could be the key to finding her killer.
CCTV footage shows the 34-year-old mother driving the white 2002 Toyota Camry sedan in Logan as well as leaving the Logan Central Police Station on August 15.
On August 18, a day after her daughter reported her missing, a motorist found her burning body on the side of the road in Dulguigan โ 100km from where she was last seen.
The man initially thinking it was a log before stopping to take a closer look, reports Nine News.
Police would like to thank the community after locating a vehicle related to the investigation into the suspected murder of Sabrina Bremer
โThereโs a great void in the timeline of her disappearance that we need to fill in,โ Tweed Heads crime manager Detective Inspector Brendon Cullen told News Corp.
โWe need people to come forward if they have seen her at any point between the Monday when she left the station and the Wednesday.โ
Police are urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Todayโs mousse formulas have been completely upgraded. The stiffness we all hated in the โ90s has been replaced with flexible, light-as-air formulas that condition and add volume to fine hair, bounce to limp hair, and smoothness for everyone.
Hot tip: backstage and on the red carpet, stylists use mousse as the base for pretty much every single hairstyle โ up, down, wavy, straight, and everything in between. And if that doesnโt convince you, Karlie Kloss recently admitted that sheโs loves mousse.
Ready to give mousse another whirl? Look for one without alcohol (which, along with simply using too much product, was a reason for the crunchies) and deploy sparingly.
Start with a single pump in the palm of your hands, coat damp hair from roots to ends, scrunch, and then air-dry, use a diffuser or a blow-dryer.
Here are a few of our favourites to get you started:

The stories are powerful and, frankly, horrifying. But you wonโt read much about the Yemeni children caught in a cross fire between Saudis and Iran-backed Houthi rebels โ a civil war thatโs been raging for nearly two years โ in the news.
โWe didnโt expect them to hit a wedding,โ says Mohammed. The Yemeni father had just finished feasting; the singing and dancing was starting. Like a scene straight out of โHomelandโ, the wedding was interrupted by an air strike that killed up to 40 people, including Mohammedโs little daughter, Jood, aged five. โWe recognised her from her hair ribbon,โ he says. โThere was no face.โ
Another fatherโs newborn baby passed away due to oxygen shortages in Taiโz, in the Yemeni Highlands overlooking the famous Red Sea. โMy son was 14 hours old when he diedโฆ the doctors told us needed intensive care and oxygenโฆ We took him to every hospital we possibly could before he finally died. I wanted to take him outside the city but there was no way out.โ
โI want to go out and play,โ says eight-year-old Faris, as he lies in his hospital bed. Then the burned and wounded boy turns pleadingly to his grandfather: โWill I live? Will I live?โ Faris and his family were asleep when a missile hit their house, killing his mother and brother.
5-year old Jood, who was killed during an air strike on a wedding.
Farisโ story โ and that of many more children โ is featured on ABCโs Foreign Correspondent (iView). Journalist Sophie McNeill reported from the frontlines in Yemen, the poorest country in the Middle East, which has been devastated by a war thatโs claimed more than 6500 lives and left millions starving. More than half of the casualties are civilians, many of them children. According to the United Nations, innocent Yemenis have been deliberately targeted by a US-backed Saudi coalition.
โ[The war] is to do with a battle for control and influence in the Middle East between the Saudis and Iran,โ McNeill told marie claire. โThe Saudis are fighting a rebel group in Yemen, the Houthis, that is aligned with Iran. So itโs part of a regional power struggle that is fuelling violence and conflict all over โ in Syria, Iraq and now, Yemen.โ Adding insult to injury, branches of ISIS and al-Qaeda have also joined the fighting.
Itโs a war with no โrulesโ. Schools and hospitals are not safe. On August 13, at least 10 children were left dead and 21 injured when an air strike decimated a school in northern Yemen. The students were aged between eight and 15, reports Medicins Sans Frontieres/Doctors Without Borders (MSF).

Yemenis are literally starving. Before the fighting, Yemen imported about 90 per cent of its food. Thanks to a blockade led by the Saudi coalition, food prices have risen 60 per cent, making it impossible for parents to feed their kids, explains NcNeill. Of the countryโs population of 25 million, 14 million people are โfood insecureโ (i.e. hungry) and close to seven million people are โseverely food insecureโ (starving), according to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
โOne in three Yemeni kids is severely malnourished. We met families whose children were so malnourished they died while we were there. Itโs just horrific,โ says McNeill.
Amnesty International says that at least 83 per cent of Yemenis rely on humanitarian assistance in order to survive.
Medicine is scarce. There are no drugs for 40,000 Yemeni cancer patients. Itโs getting more difficult for MSF to treat the people who need it most. Since one of the hospitals supported by MSF was hit by an air strike one week ago, killing 19 people, the organisation has been forced to withdraw from six hospitals in northern Yemen. It was the fourth time an MSF facility has been attacked in the past 12 months, says McNeill. โMSF says it shares the coordinates of all its locations with the Saudi coalition. How can they keep doing this? MSF is the only one providing free healthcare. MSF is absolutely saving lives in Yemen everyday.โ

Naturally, McNeill, a Middle Eastern correspondent, has been personally affected by her experience reporting from Yemen. โThe situation is one of the worst Iโve seen in the Middle East. Itโs a country wrecked by a terrible war combined with just absolute poverty. It was absolutely heartbreaking. I canโt stop thinking about the people we met there.โ
Everywhere you look, she says, there is war and tragedy. So itโs not surprising that Yemen hasnโt made the headlines. โWith Syria and Iraq, it is hard to keep up; the Middle East is just on fire now,โ concedes McNeill. โBut itโs also really convenient to ignore this war. France, the UK and the US make billions selling weapons to Saudi Arabia. The US also feels like it needs to keep Saudi Arabia on side as an ally in the region for a whole lot of reasons. Thatโs why they havenโt been very vocal when it comes to condemning the Saudi-led coalition for the horrific cost on civilians.
โThis is really a forgotten war that we donโt know enough about. Itโs difficult for reporters to travel to Yemen and now that airstrikes have started up again, itโs going to become even harder to get these stories out. We just canโt continue to turn a blind eye to the suffering that goes on in this region.โ
If you want to help the children of Yemen, McNeill suggests donating to MSF and/or UNICEF. โThey are doing incredible stuff.โ

When actor Patrick Dempsey was asked to attempt an Aussie accent on live TV, the Greys Anatomy actor decided to go one better โ and try out a little Australian slang.
The result was amusing โ for all the wrong reasons.
โTraveller,โ he said, โTravellerโs a beer you travel with right?โ
Today show host Karl Stefanovic immediately burst into laughter, while the movie star, who is in Australia to promote his latest film Bridget Jones Has a Baby, merely looked confused.
โWhatโs a traveller? Have I just alienated everyone in the country?โ he asked, while Richard Wilkins told him โYouโre not supposed to say thatโ.
(Donโt know what traveller is? Itโs a manโs erection.)
Itโs not the first time things have gotten a little lost in translation on breakfast TV. One of our favourite TV moments (possibly ever) came when BBC breakfast presenter Susanna Reid interviewed Downton Abbey star Dan Stevens. She said to him โYou must have had to beat off a lot of American men to get this part.โ
Stevens promptly dissolved into helpless giggles, while a wide-eyed Reid managed to make the situation even worse. โWhy does that make you giggle? Did you not have to beat them off?โ

Former Deputy Mayor of Auburn Salim Mehajer could face serious consequences after videos which reportedly show him threatening his estranged wife, Aysha Learmonth along with her parents.
In the videos, that were believed to have been sent from Mehajer to his estranged wife after she moved out of their home, he can be seen yelling, โI hope you die you f*****g s**t.โ
Another video then shows him allegedly threatening to kill her and rape her parents.
โAysha, youโve got five minutes to call me,โ the former Auburn Council deputy mayor screams. โโAysha, I hope you die, you sl*t โฆ I swear on the Koran, I swear to Allahโ.
Mehajer, who had an AVO taken out against him by police on behalf of his wife in July, released a statement to Channel Seven following the airing of these vidoes.
โAysha is a beautiful, warm, amazing individual, whom I believe was betrayed, or set-up by someone who supplied A Current Affair with these out of context videos to make a sensationalised story,โ he said.
โI am totally disappointed that a well-known reporter can make a statement on TV and think it can hold any weight emotionally or seriously in the public forum.โ
โNo offence, the reporter needs to spend their time getting shaken up by the โrealโ stories that need โrealโ awareness, not by an individual yelling into their personal phone camera.โ
Police are reportedly considering action over the footage.

Itโs been brewing in Hollywood for some time, and it seems that โpost-genderโ baby names have infiltrated the real world now too.
David and Victoria Beckham famously called their daughter Harper, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds named their daughter James, Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell named their little girl Lincoln, and the list goes on.
Now according to baby naming site Nameberry, us regular folk are jumping on the gender neutral name train.
โThe old โBoy Named Sueโ idea of a boy being shamed by having a girlโs name is passing away,โ said Pamela Redmond Satran, one of the founderโs of Nameberry. โToday, boys named Tatum feel as cool as girls named Rory, and vice versa.โ
The site found that the number of babies given unisex names, eg. Harper, Tatum and Quinn, has risen 60 percent in the last decade.
According to their research, the most popular unisex names in 2015 were Hayden, Charlie, Emerson, Rowan and Finley.

Celine Dion has had a horrible time over the past few years, with her brother, her father and her husband passing away from cancer.
In terrible news, her brother-in-law, Guy Poirier, has been diagnosed with cancer, and is now in a care home. It has affected his lung, brain and bones.
Celineโs sister, Claudette, told Echos Vedettes magazine: โMy step-brother is at the Maison Adhemar-Dion and he is still conscious.
โMy sister (Liette) is with him and she is very strong. People of the Maison are angels and they are taking very good care of our step-brother.โ
The Maison Adhemar-Dion is a palliative care facility in Quebec named after Celine Dionโs late father Adhemar.

A Victorian mother is suing her doctor and the public health system after a failed termination left her with a son.
The 23-year-old woman says she has suffered psychological trauma along with unwanted costs associated with having a child.
The woman, then aged 20, says her doctors failed to acknowledge signs she was still pregnant or administer an ultrasound which she says would have confirmed she was still pregnant, despite undergoing an abortion, reports News Corp.
The woman claims that on three occasions after the surgery, her doctor and the hospital failed to identify the pregnancy.
By the time she did finally undergo an ultrasound, it revealed she was 20-weeks along, and unable to terminate her pregnancy.
The mother-of-one says that the pregnancy continued due to both the doctor and the hospitalโs negligence.
The woman is seeking compensation for her pain and suffering as well as costs associated with raising her son which she says will amount to hundreds of thousands of dollars.

An AFL fan has sparked controversy after throwing a banana at Adelaide Crows player Eddie Betts in a racially charged attack.
The Herald Sunreports that the woman threw the banana after Bettsโ fifth goal in the last few seconds of the game. The woman also allegedly called him โa monkeyโ, leading the Port Adelaide Football Club to believe that it was โclear that the offenderโs behaviour was racially motivatedโ.
She has received an indefinite ban from future games, and could face a lifetime ban if it is proven that the incident was a case of racial abuse.
โWe will revoke her membership,โ Port Adelaide president David Koch said. โItโs against the law No. 1 and against our code of conduct.โ
Other fans have taken to social media to say that this isnโt the first disturbing incident theyโve witnessed from this woman.
One man wrote: โThis happened in the row in front of me. I am proud to say that I yelled at her and told her she took it too far.
โShe responded by saying, but heโs a monkey. I yelled back, no, ur just a racist.
โAll year weโve had to put up with her foul mouth โฆ in front of our kids.โ
ABC News reports that the woman has since agreed to participate in a cultural awareness program run by Port Adelaide Football Club.
โShe quite clearly recognises that sheโs made a terrible mistake and weโll work with her on that,โ Port Adelaide member services general manager Matthew Richardson told ABC.
โWe have got a very proud reputation, weโve got industry leading Indigenous programs and cultural awareness programs so we will actually get her involved in those so that she can actually understand what sheโs done.
โWe do quite extensive cultural awareness training with all our staff, so weโll involve her in that program, and that does include our Indigenous players.โ
Richardson also added that the response from the public has been a good sign.
โThe way that people have responded to this incident, that itโs totally unacceptable, in some ways is quite encouraging,โ he added.

With the upcoming series of The Real Housewives of Sydney set to hit our screens in 2017, itโs been reported the cast are expected to get a pay packet of at least $70,000 each for their appearance on the glamorous show.
However itโs no bed of roses for the female contestants of The Bachelor who are reportedly paid $90 a day for their stint on the hit reality show, according to the Daily Telegraph.
In comparison to the established, wealthy Real Housewives who get paid to have their daily life documented, the Bachelorettes have to leave their life and jobs behind which unfortunately comes at a cost.
Of course, itโs the risk they take in their bid to find love but for both the Bachelorettes and the Housewives there are lucrative deals to be made which can supplement their main income.
TheReal Housewives of Sydney is currently in production and includes Lisa Oldfield, Athena Levendi, Krissy Marsh, Melissa Tkautz, Matty Samaei, Nicole OโNeil and Victoria Rees.

Hello sunshine! Time to plan your new Spring wardrobe. After being buried under dark layers all winter, the prospect of blue skies and packing away our coats has the marie claire fashion team all excited.
But while the runways leap from skater hoodies to geek chic, pyjama dressing to bohemian opulence, in real life weโre hooked on classics with a twist.
Weโve been Pinning pics of Olivia Palermo clashing her stripes with florals, and vintage Lauren Hutton in those effortless button-downs and structured blazers she wore so well in the seventies. Grace Kelly with a sweater tossed nonchalantly over her shoulders always gets our vote, but weโre cribbing from contemporary street stylers too. Familiar blue-and-white shirting stripes are key โ theyโve been given a modern makeover to reveal flattering flashes of skin. Meanwhile the chic take on boho means great quality fabrics, plaited leather accessories and bursts of cherry red colour. Itโs all in the attitude, of course.
Call it preppy-cool. Itโs that classic upstate Americana thing thatโs instantly identifiable by the colours (blue, white, tan, ice-cream pastels, pop brights) and key silhouettes (the structured blazer, the polo shirt and button-down, the Capris, the flirty sundress). Now step it up a notch and embrace sharp cuts, energetic florals and upbeat tailoring. No one does it better than Polo Ralph Lauren.

For Spring/Summer โ16, the Polo Ralph Lauren Collection is โshaped by special pieces and statement accessories that express true individual style,โ they say. That translates to a pleasing balance of bold, sophisticated and bright, with a definite edge.
Take, for example, the pairing of a floral shirt with a striped jacket and pants, pumped up even further via the addition of a matching floral bag. Or the layering of a classic Bengal striped shirt over a striped seersucker frock in the same blue-and-white colour-way.
Polo Ralph Laurenโs chic denim is simply brilliant this season, from an office-appropriate pencil skirt to a killer denim utility-styled jumpsuit. And weโre all lusting over a standout three-piece trouser suit in super-dark, indigo denim โ think form-fitting blazer, leg-elongating flares and a waistcoat. These pieces make a statement worn together or become versatile separates youโll live in on their own.
The final touch to put a Spring in your step? Ombrรฉ effect sandals with on-trend Lucite heels.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are known for the pared-back approach to style, from their minimalist fashion line, The Row, to their low-key beauty look. While the chances of us ever being able to afford anything from their luxe clothing line is slim to none, we can pull off that makeup look.

She was the ultimate femme fatal, known predominately for her seductive, albeit ditzy, blonde persona. But behind that glossy smile, breathy voice, and bedroom eyes was a woman who knew how to control her femininity and sexuality to craft a career that has outlived her by more than 50 years. Here is a round-up of some of Ms Monroeโs most empowering quotes that portray a wise and intelligent woman with a bombshell facade:

1) โJust because you fail once, doesnโt mean youโre gonna fail at everything. Keep trying, hold on, and always, always, always believe in yourself, because if you donโt, then who willโ
2) โImperfection is beauty, madness is genius and itโs better to be absolutely ridiculous that absolutely boringโ
3) โFear is stupid. So are regretsโ

4) โThis life is what you make it. No matter what, youโre going to mess up sometimes, itโs a universal truth. But the good part is you get to decide how youโre going to mess it upโ
5) โFame is fickle, and I know it. It has its compensations but it also have its drawbacks, and Iโve experienced bothโ
6) โWanting to be someone else is a waste of the person you areโ

7) โI live to succeed, not to please you or anyone elseโ
8) โOne of the best things that ever happened to me is that Iโm a woman. That is the way all females should feelโ
9) โI donโt want to make money. I just want to be wonderfulโ

For those days when you literally have five minutes to get out the door, this tool is a lifesaver.
The unique sword shape makes it super-easy to fill in the entire brow, from fuller fronts through to tapered arches and thinner ends, and the pencil only releases colour once it comes into contact with the oils in brow hairs, so itโs virtually goof-proof.
