Jennifer Garner is a treasure and if you donโt agreeโฆ well you kind of need to reevaluate all of your life views.
The actress is charming, sweet and hilarious, proven only more by the way she handled a swarm of paparazzi on a recent walk to her car. Yes, walking to your car in active wear is a very photographable moment in Tinseltown.
Jen was walking with her friend when she was followed by the paparazzi, who wanted to ask all about her life post-Ben Affleck.
โBrad and I are dating, isnโt that great?โ she jokes with them before walking off laughing.
We gotta hand it to the girl, guys sticking cameras in your face isnโt exactly a fun way to spend your post-gym walk, so why not hit them back with the old troll?

Itโs been a tough few days for Sam Frost, the former Bachelorette shared a heartfelt message with fans yesterday, explaining she and Sasha Meilczarek are still going strong. Then hours later Sam shutdown all her social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
In yesterdayโs lengthy message criticising breakdown rumours, the 27 year-old wrote:
โSocial media isnโt the real world. The media isnโt the real world. โWhatโs real is the time you spend with your partner, the challenges you work through and the unconditional love and support we have for one another.โ
On Tuesday, Frost revealed on her 2DayFM breakfast show Rove and Sam that she took a pregnancy test on the weekend because she had some โpregnancy symptoms.โ
Frost then revealed the results of her test on-air, announcing excitedly, โNot pregnant!โ before making a joke about her situation.
She told WHO in June she would love to get married to Mielczarek, who she has been dating since The Bachelorette in 2015, and start a family one day.
โSash is the nicest, sweetest person Iโve ever met in my life,โ she told WHO. โWe are very open about talking about the future. But we donโt really put a timeline on things. I think it will happen when it happens.โ
Letโs hope Frost is just taking some quite time away from the spotlight, and that sheโll be back online soon!

Horrifying new details have emerged about Kim Kardashianโs ordeal at the hands of masked robbers, as Karl Lagerfeld slams the reality TV star for flaunting her wealth.
The designer spoke to reporters about the heist after the Chanel show. โYou cannot display your wealth and then be surprised that some people want to share it with you,โ he said, according to the Daily Mail. โI donโt understand why she was in a hotel with no security,โ Lagerfeld added.
His comments come as new details emerge about the heist.
A video has emerged which suggests that Kardashian had been tailed by a mystery car in the days leading up to the robbery. Itโs understood that one man pretended to be a plain-clothed detective to try and sit near Kardashan at a well-known restaurant.
Meanwhile, Kimโs best friend, celebrity stylist Simone Harouche, who was in the luxury Parisian apartment at the time of the robbery apparently raised the alarm by texting Kardashianโs bodyguard Pascal Duvier.
Despite international coverage of the robbery, it has emerged that just one Parisian newspaper covered the story this week.

Youโve heard of the post wedding blues. But have you heard the one about the bride suffering from shock after discovering that her new husband is actually her biological grandfather?
A 24-year-old woman walked down the aisle into the arms of her 68-year-old lover, yet three months in was left shocked by revelations that she was closely related to him.
The newlyweds made the discovery while looking at one of the his photo albums, after the young woman realised her new husbandโs estranged son was her father.
The groom became estranged from his children after his wife from his first marriage moved away, taking the kids with her.
Despite winning โseveral million dollarsโ in a lottery jackpot and moving from his apartment into a waterfront Miami property, he claims he became lonely and started looking for love online in 2015.
โThey had a website with profiles of many attractive younger girls,โ he told the Florida Post. โI just felt something strange when I saw her photos. โIt was like a sense of deja vu, but at the time I couldnโt figure out why she seemed so familiar.โ
The young woman had been living in Jacksonville, Florida, for several years working as an exotic dancer to support her child and herself. With bills and a desire to provide for her child, she signed up for the website where she met her boyfriend/grandfather.
The newlyweds have declared they will not be divorcing and are committing to a successful marriage.
โIf weโd never found out, we wouldโve lived our lives happily together, and us being related shouldnโt change that,โ the man said.
โI feel our bond is so strong that even something like this is not enough to make us give up,โ the woman added.

16-year-old Rose Cox asked Social Services Minister Christian Porter a confronting question about welfare policy on ABCโs Q&A program last night.
The government recently released a $96 million plan aimed at getting key demographic groups off welfare and into the workforce. The fund is called Try, Test and Learn, and will experiment with initiatives that help groups that have shown to be costing the tax-payer the most on welfare, such as young carers and young parents, who can spend on average as much as 45 years on welfare throughout their lives.
However, Rose presented Christian Porter with her own situation on the program.
At the age of eight years old, she became a young carer for her mother, who was diagnosed with a rare neurological disease and became wheelchair dependent. Four years ago, her family unit broke down and her father is no longer in the picture, meaning that she and her younger sister are now the primary caregivers for her mother.
Currently, she is juggling her year 12 studies with her caring responsibilities, and is given $8 a day on welfare. So she raised her concerns in the form of this question:
โI donโt want to be seen as a burden on the government, nor do I wish to be welfare dependent for my lifetime. How will a change to payments and policy understand the very unique and often stressful experiences of young carers like myself and my sister?โ
How will blanket policy understand unique experiences of young carers? @cporterwa responds #QandAhttps://t.co/QdD0t4shWj
Porter responded that the government was looking at small groups and trying to better understand the situations of young carers. Currently, there are 11,200 young people on young carers payments, and about 1800 people of that group will never leave the welfare system. He explained that the government was trying to design policies around smaller groups with the data theyโd found to make things better. However at this stage, the government didnโt have a solution for her.
โThe money that I get on the payment, and the money that the government usesโฆI just think that there must be a better way that you need to do this, but the way that you propose, you have no ideas so far.โ

Yesterday afternoon the news broke that Kim Kardashian had reportedly been robbed at gunpoint. A group of masked men dressed as policeman broke into her temporary residence in Paris, bound and gagged her in the bathroom and absconded with US$10 million of jewellery, including the reality TV starโs 15-carat diamond engagement ring.
The incident was as aggressive as it was swift. In less than six minutes the masked men made off with the jewellery and bound Kardashian with duct tape, leaving her in the bathtub. According to reports, Kardashian feared that she was going to be raped. Her spokesperson stated that the star was โbadly shaken but physically unharmedโ, returning to her home in New York immediately, where her husband Kanye West was waiting for her.
How has The Internet reacted? With scorn and derision, mocking the reality TV star on social media, claiming that the incident was all a stunt for her show or an elaborate prank, or worse, positing that itโs impossible to feel sorry or even care about someone when they have millions of dollars worth of jewellery in the first place.
No one likes robbery at gunpoint. Then again should people feel sorry for someone who owns millions of $ in jewelry alone?
โ Sometimes I sort of look like that one guyโฆ (@Uncle_Spooky) October 3, 2016
Wouldn't surprise me if Kim Kardashian paid someone to rob her as a publicity stunt ๐๐๐๐
And yes, as the Washington Postโs fashion correspondent โ on the ground in Paris for fashion week โ noted, the story itself has been reported with a mania bordering on hysteria. โNo less than the mayor of Paris tweeted her condemnation of the robbery and promised Kardashian that she will always be welcome in Paris Countless anonymous tourists whoโve been victims of crimes here would love a similar reassurance,โ Givhan wrote.
Je condamne lโagression subie cette nuit par @KimKardashian ร Paris et je tiens ร lui dire quโelle sera toujours la bienvenue ร Paris.
And to be fair, not all four corners of the world wide web are responding with as much aggression. But the fact that this reaction is even happening at all should give us reason for pause.
Why is The Internet mocking Kim Kardashian for being the victim of a violent crime?
We should feel sorry for her: sorry that sheโs been robbed at gunpoint, sorry that she was bound and gagged and left in a bathtub by her attackers, sorry that she feared that she would be raped, sorry that she quite probably feared for her life.
And we should feel all these things not because, as James Corden bizarrely put it, Kardashian is โa mother, a daughter, a wife, a friend.โ Yes, she is those things, but the parts are not the reason why we should feel sorry for the whole. The reason we should feel sorry for her โ and respect her and her familyโs privacy in this time โ is because sheโs a human being, and we donโt wish robber at gunpoint, threats of violence and fears for your safety upon anyone.
Say what you want about Kim Kardashian, say what you want about the clothes that she wears, the proclivity with which she documents her life on social media, the fact that arguably her greatest claim to fame is a leaked sex tapeโฆ she is still the victim of a violent, aggressive, harassing crime this week. And she deserves our empathy.

After news broke yesterday of Kim Kardashianโs terrifying attack in Paris her hotel room, the internet was quick to slam the incident, labeling it a โpublicity stuntโ and criticizing her for โbringing it on herselfโ.
There were also a number of other conspiracy theories that quickly gained traction.
The 35-year-old mother-of-two was reportedly bound with packing tape and forced into the bathtub in her luxury apartment by five men who had posed as police officers.
The reality star was thankfully unharmed but obviously shaken by the incident, where more than $14 million worth of jewellery was stolen, with her engagement ring as well as a new ring gifted to her by husband Kanye West โ believed to be amongst it.
While police are still investigating the incident, weโve rounded up the most outrageous, far-fetched and down right ridiculous conspiracy theories doing the rounds:
1. It was staged for publicity
Apparently the incident was staged for publicity and to help boost ratings for her reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Wouldn't surprise me if Kim Kardashian paid someone to rob her as a publicity stunt ๐๐๐๐
8. Kimโs phone was the real prize, the jewellery was just a bonus
Others believe that Kimโs phone was the real target, with the contents of the phone being more valuable than all of her bling combined, with the perpetrators reportedly planning to use the phone to blackmail the star.

Single women earning the average weekly wage in Melbourne and Sydney are being locked out of inner city suburbs and even many outer suburbs according to wage and housing market analysis.
The Council To Homeless Persons released an analysis of Melbourneโs rental market showing that one-bedroom apartments are affordable to single women in only one in four Melbourne suburbs today, compared to one in two back in 2007.
This data is based off the average working wage of a single woman, $882 per week (ABS 2016). Housing prices are judged as being โaffordableโ if they did not have to spend more than 30% of weekly income on rent, which would add up to $265 or less.
While the average weekly salary of single working women has increased over the past decade, with the average female wage in Victoria being $590 in 2005, the number of affordable suburbs available to them of 106 Melbourne suburbs has decreased โ from 62 suburbs in 2005 to 28 in 2016.
The Guardianreports that the problem is not as serious for single men, whose average weekly wage is much higher. The average weekly wage for single men in Victoria is $1,306, which would allow affordable rent to reach $390 per week.
The Guardian Australia also did a similar analysis of Sydneyโs housing market, and found that a single woman earning the average weekly wage of $973 would not even be able to afford a one-bedroom place in one of Sydneyโs outer suburbs (such as the Blue Mountains and Gosford).
Men on the other hand, on an average weekly wage of $1420, could afford one-bedroom apartments in slightly closer suburbs (such as Manly and Parramatta).
Council to Homeless Persons CEO Jenny Smith expressed concerns that the disparity between weekly earnings and housing prices was leaving many women homeless. While many women have opted to save money by sharing a house with more people in one of the more inner suburbs, this becomes a much more difficult solution for single women trying to raise children, or when a sudden crisis hits, such as losing your job.
โThatโs why weโve seen a boom in rooming houses, people living in caravan parks, women sleeping in cars and couch surfing. If itโs this hard for a woman on the average working wage to find somewhere affordable to live, imagine how hard it is if youโve fallen on hard times,โ Smith said.
โThe affordable housing crisis and homelessness are two sides of the same coin. We canโt solve homelessness without increasing the supply of affordable housing.โ

Thousands of Poles dressed in black have marched through the streets of Warsaw in protest against proposals for a total ban on abortion.
The debate around reproductive rights in Poland has been building up for months. The governing Law and Justice party, which came to power in last year, plans to tighten the countryโs abortion law to bring it into line with the Catholic Churchโs teachings, infuriating liberals and pro-choice activists.
Polandโs existing abortion law is already one of the most restrictive in Europe. Abortion is permitted in only three cases: a severe foetal anomaly, a threat to the motherโs health and life, or a pregnancy from rape or sexual abuse.
According to the BBC, if the law passes, it could result in women who have had a miscarriage also being investigated on suspicion they had the pregnancy terminated deliberately
The protesters, who wore black as a sign of mourning for their reproductive rights, also waved wire coat hangers, an item long associated with underground abortions.
Polandโs draconian abortion legislation replaced communist-era laws, which made abortion widely available for four decades. Since the strict laws were passed in 1993, the number of legal abortions performed annually fell from more than 100,000 to fewer than 1000.
The draft bill being proposed by anti-choice groups will have to be discussed by parliament if a petition in favour of it gains 100,000 signatures, according to The Economist.
If it passes, doctors who performed an abortion could also be punished with jail terms of up to five years. The only exception would be the โunintendedโ death of a foetus while saving a womanโs life.
Professor Romuald Debski, who works at a hospital in Warsaw, told Polish media: โWhoever causes the death of the unborn child is punishable by imprisonment up to three years. If I have a patient with pre-eclampsia, who is 32 weeks pregnant, I will have to let her and her child die.
โI have to, because if I perform a caesarean section and the child dies, I may go to prison for three years, because the child was premature.โ

This morning Sam Frost revealed live on her Rove and Sam breakfast show that she took a pregnancy test over the weekend because she had some concerns after displaying โpregnancy symptomsโ.
The former Bachelorette and Bachelor star, 27, told listeners she felt tired, sick, hungry and couldnโt stop vomiting, which led her to think she could be expecting a child with boyfriend Sasha Mielczarek.
โI did the old wee on the stick,โ she confessed.
โIโm like shaking and I was like โOh my god, oh my god, oh my godโ. My whole life flashed before my eyes.โ
Frost then revealed the results of her test on-air, announcing excitedly, โNot pregnant!โ before making a joke about her situation.
โAnd then I was like โoh, my baby is goneโ,โ she said, before explaining she had to remind herself she was never actually pregnant, โYou didnโt have a baby, you idiot!โ
Frost explained she was โfreaking outโ about whether or not she was pregnant and had to dash to the supermarket in her pajamas to purchase the test.
โI bought an avocado, a pregnancy test, some deodorant,โโ she said, before admitting she and Mielczarek arenโt โoverly cautiousโ in the bedroom.
โWeโre not overly cautious because weโre hey we like to have a good time and get caught up in the moment,โ she explained.
Frost told WHO in June she would love to get married to Mielczarek, who she has been dating since The Bachelorette in 2015, and start a family one day.
โSash is the nicest, sweetest person Iโve ever met in my life,โ she said. โWe are very open about talking about the future. But we donโt really put a timeline on things. I think it will happen when it happens.โ

Rebecca Judd welcomed her twin boys Tom and Darcy last week and the proud mum canโt stop gushing on Instagram โ but not without keeping it real.
The 33-year-old posted a gorgeous photo of herself cradling her two boys, with no makeup and her long hair tied back in a bun โ and we reckon she has never looked more beautiful.
The boys arrived at 35 weeks into the pregnancy via emergency c-section, two weeks earlier than expected.
โTom and Darcy Judd are here! Born at lunch time today, perfectly healthy. We are the luckiest parents in the world,โ Bec wrote, announcing the news on September 29.

A terrified teenage bride trapped in a controlling relationship has finally been set free after admitting to the celebrant that she was being forced into the wedding to ensure her husbandโs Australian residency.
Before the 2013 ceremony, the 26-year-old man had thrown his bride to be on the bed, grabbed her by the throat and screamed โshut the f*** up and get readyโ
In January 2013 the two met and he quickly moved into the then 17-year-olds flat while she worked to support them both. He became domineering and demanded that she go straight home after work, wouldnโt let her visit her friends unless he was present and even threatened her with a knife.
In order to extend his visa that expired in November of the same year he decided he would marry her to stay in Australia.
The Daily Mail reported that on the day of the wedding he threatened the teenager saying โif you donโt do this today I will make sure you regret it for the rest of your life.โ
The 2013 marriage was thankfully annulled after the celebrant provided evidence on behalf of the young woman at the Parramatta Family Court.
Justice Garry Foster said โThe evidenceโฆleads to the inescapable conclusion that the man imposed upon the woman and took advantage of her youth and lack of maturity,โ
โShe says she was terrified and felt trapped with no choice but to marry himโ
โThe relationshipโฆ was characterized by conduct of the man that was coercive, controlling, threatening and abusive for his own purposes presumably to assist any application for him to remain in Australia.โ

Lately we have been loving The Duchess of Canridgeโs style choices, she has been making bold statements and stepping out of her comfort zone like never before โ and itโs been paying off.
During her recent tour of Canada, she made a series of stylish statements, stepping out in high-end designer looks from Alexander McQueen to Preen and Dolce & Gabbana. While also throwing in her usual high-street faves from the likes of Zara and H&M โ and even a few of her old faithful looks from years gone by.
According to E! News, Kateโs entire wardrobe for the familyโs 8-day trip through Canada cost upwards of $US80,000 (thatโs approximately $AU104,000). Thatโs her most expensive Royal Tour to date โ but we would defintely argue it was also her most stylish.
According to their breakdown, Day 1 alone cost a whopping $US22,305 thanks to a bespoke Jenny Packham dress, Sylvia Flether for Lock and Company hat, Gianvito Rossi suede pumps, G.Collins & Sons tanzanite earrings and KL Bennet clutch. Not to mention the brooch on load from the Queen, which is obviously priceless.
Take a look at all her Royal Tour looks below:
Day 1.
Kate in a custom-made, blue Jenny Packham dress with matching headpiece and a silver Canadian Maple leaf pin to pay tribute to her hosts.
Day 2.
The Duchess made a bold statement when she stepped out in a red and white print dress by Alexander McQueen. Paying homage to her host country, the $6,800 red and white frock was quite the statement for the Duchess, with its graphic print and a pleated and layered hemline. Instead of her trusty nude heels, Kate instead opted to match the frock with a pair of red heels and a matching red Miu Miu clutch.
Day 3.
The Duchess of Cambridge came prepared for the wet weather and looked unsurprisingly chic in a casual off-duty ensemble. Dressed in her staple skinny jeans, a stone coloured Holland & Holland jacket and her favourite pair of by Penelope Chilvers (which eagle eyed fans noticed sheโs been a fan of for some 12 years), the Duchess looked practical and cozy while visiting the Great Bear Rainforest in Bella Bella on Monday.
Day 3.
Kate dazzled in a red cocktail dress by British designer Preen for a cocktail reception at Government House in the evening on Day 3. The dress featured an asymmetrical hemline, and midi-length skirt. She teamed the look with a chic up-do, the silver Maple Leaf brooch she wore when touching down in Canada (on loan from Her Majesty The Queen), as well as her new favourite red heels and Miui Miu clutch.
Day 4.
Kate went high fashion for a visit to Kelowna University in this Dolce & Gabbana number which retails for around $3600. The emerald green gown features button up detailing and a bow neckline as well as subtle flared hemline. The original dress featured a gold pocket-watch applique on the left-hand shoulder however the Duchess had her dress modified to remove this. Kate paired the look with nude accessories and her hair in the perfect princess wave.
Day 4.
Later on Day 4 The Duchess rugged up in a green trench coat from Hobbs for a visit to Whitehorse Yukon where they were greeted by Canadian Rangers and junior rangers before being treated to a performance at the Kwanlin Dun Cultural Centre. While Kate looked gorgeous in green we couldnโt help but notice Kateโs hair and a rather surprising accessory which gave us major flashbacks to our childhood.
Day 5.
Kate ditched the designer duds in favour of comfort for a visit to the Yukon Route railway, at Carcross, Canada. Kate wore a $1196 grey coatigan by Sentaler and earrings by jeweller Shelley Macdonald. Over her trusty blue skinny jeans she ditched her trusty Penelope Chilvers boots in afavour of a pair of cowboy boots.
Day 5.
Kate opted for another red number (her third of the trip) for a visit to the MacBride Museum of Yukon History before taking a stroll through downtown Whitehorse, where a street festival was underway. Kateโs striking ensemble was by Carolina Herrera, and she paired the look with her Miu Miu clutch, a pair of burgundy heels, and her hair in a chic up-do.
Day 6.
Kate wore a See by Chloรฉ dress, a pair of pre-loved Monsoon wedges, an Acne Studios belt and Kiki McDonough Lauren leaf earrings for a royal playdate with the kids at Government House.
Day 7.
For a visit to Haida Gwaii, Kate donned a pair of Zara skinny jeans, a green Smythe blazer over a John Lewisโ Somerset by Temperley Spot Pretty blouse and brought the cowboy boots out for another spin.
Day 7.

TMZ reports that she was in bed with just a robe on when she heard the two men coming up the stairs. She saw the men through the glass sliding door, then tried to call her security guard, Pascal Duvier, on her phone, but they grabbed it from her before she could finish dialling the number.
The robbers zip-tied her hands together and grabbed her by the ankles, causing her to fear that she would be raped.
She told the police that the men were speaking French and all she could understand was them saying โring, ring, ringโ โ she assumed this meant they were after the new ring husband Kanye West had bought her.
They taped her mouth shut after she started crying and begging for them not to hurt her.
Kardashian Westโs friend Simone had been sleeping in the bedroom downstairs, and called Kourtney and Pascal, asking them to come immediately. Pascal arrived soon afterwards, just two minutes after the robbers had left, and the whole incident apparently took 6 minutes.

Just when you think you canโt love Margot Robbie any more, she goes and wears a โSay โI Doโ Down Underโ campaign t-shirt on Saturday Night Live.
The 26-year-old hosted the showโs Season 42 premiere and used the high-profile gig to spread an important message.
The campaign was launched over the weekend by Kylie Minogueโs fiancรฉ Jonathan Sasse.
โI was shocked to find out earlier this year that same-sex marriage in Australia isstill illegal,โ the British actor wrote on the campaignโs website. โThere are many hurdles to jump in order to make constitutional change, but we are now the closest weโve ever been to that change.โ
โLetโs raise our voice and public support for change. Get a shirt. Wear your heart on your sleeve.โ
The shirt wasnโt the only bold look Margot sported for occasion, also donning a marijuana leaf dress by Alexander Wang.
Variety reports that according to Neilson data, the show, which also featured musical act The Weeknd, was SNLโs most-watched premiere in eight years.

Weโre going to go ahead and make an assumption: as an Australian, youโre hugely invested in sun protection. Youโve been slip, slop, slapping since kindy, you wonโt look outside the window without slathering on an SPF, sunnies are more than a fashion statement, shade is your friend and your tan comes out of a bottle.
Well, get ready to to take your protection to the next level: introducing the La Roche-Posay My UV Patch.
About the size of a 50 cent coin, this super-flexible, super-thin โsecond skinโ patch has a connectable sensor that works in tandem with an app to take into account your hair and eye colour, UV sensitivity, GPS location and ozone concentration, and then measures your UV exposure over a five day period.
Colour us intrigued. We asked Guive Balooch, global vice president of LโOrealโs Technology Incubator, to tell us more.
The patch is like a second skin. โPlace it anywhere on your body (we recommend the back of the hand as itโs usually consistently sun-exposed), apply sunscreen and the patch will stay put for 3-5 days without having to remove it (you can shower, run, as per usual).โ
Youโll need your phone. โSo put it on, open the app, scan the heart, and it will tell you how much UV exposure you had throughout the day as well as at the time of the scan. The heart has 16 squares that change colour depending on the amount of sun exposure, so you get constant updates from a single patch for up to 5 days.โ
Australians canโt afford to not be sun smart. โYour relative proximity to the sun and the thin ozone layer means your land receives a high degree of UV radiation. Thereโs large proportion of the population with fairer, higher risk skin types due to their Northern European heritage, and you have an outdoors-focused lifestyle. So Australians need to be aware that UV rays are dangerous in any amount and exposure can occur directly and indirectly, like when it bounces off sand and water at the beach, which will almost double the dose for an already high risk individual.โ
About that blue heart design โฆ โWe chose a heart because we wanted to make our consumer experience fun and positive. This is an important cause but one that can be done with positivity and education.โ
โIt takes just five sunburns to double your risk of melanomaโ
So hereโs what to do: Press on the patch and download the app. Apply your SPF over the top and go about your life (sleeping, swimming, showering), scanning your patch throughout the day measure your UV exposure in real time.
Get your La Roche-Posay My UV Patch for free โ yep, free! โ with any La Roche-Posay sunscreen purchase from Priceline, Chemist Warehouse and Terry White Chemist, or online at laroche-posay.com.au/saveyourskin

After Sam Frost dared to go to Italy on her own to visit a girlfriend, and attend the races over the weekend without her man, the rumour mill went into overdrive that she had split with long-time love Sasha Meilczarek.
However the star has taken to Instagram to shut down the rumours, after fans questioned whether they were still together.
โAw you guys are too sweet,โ she wrote. โWe are stronger than ever, donโt worry about that xxx we have just been in our own little Sam + Sash bubble when weโre together, taking pics is the last thing from our minds xxxโ.
Just to clear up any confusion, she also posted a snap of Meilczarek on her Instagram Story.

Just days after welcoming her second child with husband Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively was up and at โem and attending the wedding of her BFF Jessica Snyder.
The 29-year-old looked gorgeous in all black for the occasion, as she posed for a sweet photo with the bride.
โMost beautiful bride on the planet,โ the actress wrote. โAnd the best friend I could ask for. @jessicarose617 thank you for being EVERYTHING. I love you. โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโ.
Blake also posted a second close-up snap of the โKILLER detailsโ on her friendโs Marchesa dress.
Earlier in the week it was confirmed that Blake gave birth to the coupleโs second child in New York, however the pair are yet to confirm the name or sex of the baby.
Similarly when Blake and Ryan welcomed their daughter James, who is now 22 months, they remained tight-lipped on the details for months.

After news broke yesterday of Kim Kardashianโs horrific attack in Paris her hotel room, critics were quick to slam the incident as nothing more than a โpublicity stuntโ.
The 35-year-old mother-of-two was reportedly bound with packing tape and forced into the bathtub in her luxury apartment by five men who had posed as police officers.
The reality star was unhurt but obviously shaken by the incident, where more than $14 million worth of jewellery was stolen, with her engagement ring believed to be amongst it.
โThe loss amounts to several million euros, mostly jewellery. The total amount is still being evaluated,โ police said.
Trolls quickly took to Twitter to slam Kim and the reports and to make jokes at her expense.
A number of her celebrity friends including Chrissy Teigen, James Corden and Piers Morgan rushed to her defence.

Like many Australians, Iโll spend this weekend glued to the television, watching to see whether the Cronulla Sharks will win their first premiership in their 50-year history in Rugby League on Sunday, or whether my beloved Sydney Swans can upset the Western Bulldogs, who are in the grand final for the first time in 55 years.
No matter who wins, the weekend will still be historic.
Next year, the AFL will launch a national womenโs league, which means that this weekendโs game is the end of the an era; it will be the last match in the last season where professional football is only for men.
And itโs about time.
Sometimes I wonder if weโll look back on societyโs obsession with menโs sports as hopelessly outdated. Will we remember the way we all turned up to and cheered on menโs sports matches, and rarely womenโs, as laughably antiquated โ a little like smoking on aeroplanes or life before the internet?
Will history judge us because in 2016 male cricketers and footy players were national celebrities, but few Australians could name the captain of the womenโs cricket team?
Because although sexism and gender diversity have rightly started to receive plenty of attention in other parts of our lives โ at work, in leadership, in politics and entertainment โ sport has remained relatively backwards. Itโs hard to believe that until recently, in the countryโs biggest sporting codes (including cricket and rugby) there have been few opportunities โ if any โ for women to be paid to play. On our TVs, in our newspapers, and in our stadiums, men have dominated our sporting culture for over a century.
Fortunately, the last two years have brought big changes.
Last summer, Cricket Australia launched the Womenโs Big Bash League (WBBL), a domestic womenโs 20-over a side competition. It was an immediate hit. In fact, higher-than-expected ratings even prompted broadcaster Channel 10 to move some of the games from their secondary digital channels on to their main channel. It even out-rated some menโs A-League soccer matches.
Womenโs football has also drawn large audiences. Throughout 2016, womenโs AFL teams played a number of exhibition matches, culminating in an all-star game in early September. The game was a ratings smash, with the highest average audience in Melbourne of any game โ menโs or womenโs โ during the 2016 AFL season.
The good news keeps coming. In the past few months, professional netballers have seen their average pay double from a paltry $22,500 per season to $67,500. And, after the womenโs Rugby Sevensโ historic gold medal win in Rio, the Australian Rugby Union has announced it will launch a full-time professional domestic womenโs sevens competition in 2017.
Despite all the progress, there are still challenges. Female athletes arenโt paid anywhere near as much as the men. Of the 50 highest-paid athletes in Australia, just two are women, according to BRW.
And, under an early AFL pay proposal, female players will receive $5,000 to $25,000 per season, whereas even the most junior male player, who cannot play senior games, receives $57,100 a season. In reality, most female AFL players will receive $5,000 โ a laughably small amount compared to the average menโs salary of $302,104.
One of the oft-heard justifications given for the low pay rates is that no one knows how popular a womenโs league will be โ yet all the early signs have suggested that when womenโs sport is on TV, people will watch. Just look at the Womenโs BBL and the womenโs AFL games. Besides, you could argue that itโs chicken and egg; making sure female athletes are paid fairly, and able to devote enough time to their sport, is essential to the long-term success of these new competitions.
Iโm about to give birth to my first child โ a little girl. Iโm so excited to be able to share my love of football with her, to be able to tell her that if she wants, she, too, can dream of being professional football player or cricketer. She will grow up watching women playing professional cricket, football and netball on TV. We still have a long way to go, but thatโs a pretty great start.

By now the sheer qween certainly knows how to work it and be seen but her latest string of looks for Paris Fashion Week have everyone talking.
Balmain, forever a family favourite of the Kardashian-Jenners, it was no surprise Kim decided to don an Olivier Rousteing creation. This time, she wore a sheer grey halter dress with hole-y crochet cutouts that left little to the imagination, teaming it with a floor length knitted cardigan that clung to her killer figure perfectly.
At the Givenchy show Kim took us straight back to the nineties opting for a lacy sheer corset, a pair of Adidas poppers, fishnet stockings and an assortment of layered black and gold chokers โ because why not?

Her third outfit for the day saw Kim sporting a metallic crop top baring her midriff and her knees in a black pair of high waisted leather pants for the Off-White SS17 show.

Everyone loves sparkly stuff, right? Even when people say they donโt, theyโre lying.
So itโs no wonder people are so obsessed with glitter nail polish, to give their look a shimmery pop.
Have you ever noticed, though, that applying glitter nail polish is probably one of the hardest things to achieve in life, next to poaching an egg and giving yourself a fierce blow wave? Yep, us too.
So when the news dropped that this make up artist called Kelli Marissagave us the best hack of all time on how to do glitter polish, we sat down, shut up and listened.

In July Dior confirmed that Maria Grazia Chiuri was to become the iconic French fashion houseโs first female Creative Director in its 69 year history.
Tonight she will debut her first Ready-To-Wear collection at the Spring/Summer 2017 show in Paris.
Click below to watch the show live streaming from Paris at 10:30pm AEST:
Speaking of her appointment back in July, the former Co-Creative Director at Valentino said she โcouldnโt waitโ to express her vision.
โI measure the tremendous responsibility of being the first woman in charge of a house so deeply rooted in the pure expression of femininity,โ Chirui said in a statement.
โSeventy-five per cent of Dior staff are women,โ Sidney Toledano, Dior Couture chief executive, tells the Business of Fashion. โHaving a woman at the label is in keeping with the changing times. [Britain] will have a female PM, American might have a female president. Fashion isnโt involved in political, social or economic matters on the surface. But it reflects a changing mood.โ
โThereโs a new generation coming and the women of today have a very important role in the worldโs future,โ he continued.

Heโs shocked the world with his blatant misogyny and serial sexism, but US presidential candidate Donald Trump has also built a fervent female fanbase. R. Todd Kelly travels to a Republican rally to find out why (some) women love Trump
On a warm summer day in Cleveland, Ohio, a pair of middle-aged African-American women are holding a crowd in their thrall. As their voices ring out across a lush green park, their patter, a well-rehearsed rhythmic call-and-response performance, is focused on a man they adore โ Donald Trump.
โVote for Trump the businessman, heโs the one with the master plan!โโ The crowd, mostly older white men waving โHillary for Prisonโ T-shirts, is hooting and hollering their approval.โThe more people throw hate, the more you need to ed-u-cate!โ
And education is what these two women are focused on. That is: passionately educating voters on why they should help elect a real estate magnate turned reality star turned political firebrand to the White House. They go by the nom de YouTube of โDiamond and Silkโ and in a matter of months theyโve become superstars among Trump supporters.Real names Lynnette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson, their pro-Trump YouTube channel (โThe Viewers Viewโ) has been viewed more than nine million times and The Donald himself regularly flies them around the country as a warm-up act for his rallies. In an unlikely campaign, they have become unlikely cheerleaders for a man who seems to relish his sexist image.
Diamond and Silk take the stage at a Trump event in Iowa in January
Today in Cleveland they are one of the headliners at the America First Unity Rally, an event organised by conservative action group Citizens for Trump. Every line they hurl from stage is a verbal love-child born of a hot July-night tryst between Martin Luther King Jrโs โI Have a Dreamโ, Barry Whiteโs โIโm Gonna Love You Just A Little More Babyโ, and Johnnie Cochranโs โIf the glove donโt fit, you must acquit.โ
This gathering is happening only blocks away from the gargantuan sports arena where the official Republican National Convention is in full balloon-festooned swing. There, tens of thousands of the party faithful are in the midst of officially anointing Trump to be their candidate for president. But this rally is explicitly for diehard, predominantly blue collar Trump supporters. Which is why I am here: to meet diehard female Trump fans and try to understand their unwavering support for the candidate with a well-known โโwoman problemโโ.
Trump has said the secret to managing women is โto treat โem like shitโ
Itโs no secret Trump is a man who publicly refers to women he finds unattractive as pigs, dogs, and โdisgusting animalsโ. When running against former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina for the Republican presidential nomination last year, Trump suggested she didnโt have what it takes to be a leader because she was ugly.
Annoyed by a tough question tossed his way by Fox News presenter Megyn Kelly during a debate, he later suggested that she had been tough because she had โblood coming out of her whereverโ. He has repeatedly suggested the responsibility for male infidelity lies with women for not properly โsatisfyingโ their husbands. In 2011, he walked out of a court deposition after a female lawyer asked to take a three-minute break to pump breast milk, declaring the practice โdisgustingโ. Earlier this year, he said that if he were president a woman getting an abortion would face โsome form of punishmentโ. And in his book The Art Of The Comeback he reasoned that all women are gold diggers, which likely explains why he was once quoted as saying the secret to managing women was โyou have to treat โem like shitโ.
Unfortunately, there just arenโt that many women at the rally. Iโm not the only person disappointed.
I have waited all summer to meet some real live โBreak the Internetโ Trump girls,โ a young man named Tom tells me conspiratorially as we stand in the Ohio sunshine.
He is referring to the social media movement launched by the pro-Trump camp, which encourages women to show their support for The Donald by posting hot selfies online. As a result, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook are now rife with groups like Babes4Trump, Trump Hotties and RumpsforTrump, all of which revel in provocative shots of female Trump supporters (it appears these accounts were created by men).
Hence, the number one reason most of todayโs attendees have travelled across the country for the rally is โto meet a #TrumpGirlsBreakTheInternet girlโ.
The hashtag โ and broader movement โhighlights the confusing and fraught role women play in Trumpโs campaign. Never before has a political race traded on the perceived hotness of female supporters in a quest to build political capital. However, the women posting the shots seem comfortable flaunting their sexuality to bolster Trumpโs political ambitions, saying the images are simply an amusing means to an end.
โThe selfies are a really fun way to get the message out about Donald Trump,โ explains Sarah Hagmayer, national spokesperson for Students For Trump. Hagmayer has posted various shots of herself and her sister wearing patriotic bikinis in all weathers (including in the snow). As we chat, she assures me that the Trump camp would never objectify women. When I ask if this is an odd statement considering the cleavage selfies she and her organisation, which boasts more than 280 chapters and over 5000 volunteers, promote, she seems truly taken aback. Asked what message the selfies send, Hagmayer doesnโt hesitate. โThe message is that Trump will make America great again.โ
Why is she supporting Trump? โI love his policies!โ she chirpily responds. And what are some of those policies? It fast becomes clear that firstly, she canโt really name any other than maybe building a wall between the US and Mexico, and that secondly, no-one has ever asked her that before.
If โbeautiful women = patriotismโ seems a bizarre message for a presidential candidate, it does seem to have motivated a lot of men to drive to Cleveland and this rally. Ironically, it also seems to have motivated most women to be nowhere in the vicinity; the crowd is almost entirely white males.
However, somewhere in among the sea of beards is Jan Morgan, proud Trump supporter, Fox News contributor, gun range owner and speaker at todayโs rally. According to Morgan, the need for a Trump presidency transcends what she sees as women being โpolitically correctโ. โI donโt care what Donald Trump thinks or says about women. Frankly, I think itโs pathetic that anyone would.โ
Today she is dressed entirely in black and white. The pistol that pokes out of her belt, black-barrelled and pearlhandled, looks like it was purchased as an accessory to her outfit. Her message is simple: โHillary will take your guns away; Donald will let you keep them.โ
Morgan tells me later that women like Donald Trump because โsafety and security is important to themโ. โThe women who support Donald Trump care first and foremost about their familyโs safety,โ explains Melissa Deckman, chair and professor of Political Science at Washington College and author of Tea Party Women. โThey see immigrants and Muslim extremists as very real threats, and theyโre looking for someone to protect them.โ
Deckmanโs findings matched perfectly my conversations with the small number of women at the America First Unity Rally. For them, Trumpโs promises to build walls and ban Muslims are the commonsense solutions they believe stand between their children growing into prosperity and falling victim to violence.
None of these women could name a single Trump policy besides building a wall, mass deportation of immigrants and a ban on Muslims entering thecountry. Despite not knowing how any of the three could be legally, logistically or financially realised, theyโre adamant Trump will accomplish them all in his first 100 days in office.
For a man seemingly so hopped up on testosterone, women have played a high profile role in Trumpโs race to the White House: including his wife, Melania, daughter, Ivanka, and press secretary, Hope Hicks.
Hicks remains something of an enigma. Prior to this position, the 27-year-old had never worked in politics. In fact, she first entered the Trump family orbit when in 2012, the PR firm employee was tasked with helping Ivanka expand her fashion line. Then, in early 2015, as her mother, Caye Cavender Hicks, told The New York Times, โMr Trump sat her down and said, โThis is your new job.โ It was a shocker.โ
Now, the unlikely press secretary contends daily with hundreds of media requests, while managing the reverberations of the various, and often confusing, salvos her boss regularly lobs into the political ether. (Earlier this year, Trump put out five different policy positions on abortion in three days.)
The mogul turned politician with daughters Ivanka and Tiffany, and daughterin- law Larathe mogulturned- politician with daughters Ivanka and Tiffany, and daughter-in-law Lara
Like the other women in the Trump inner circle (namely Melania and Ivanka), Hicks is a former model. Put simply, Trump likes to surround himself with attractive women. An investigation by The New York Times revealed that in the workplace โhe occasionally interrupted routine discussions of business to opine on womenโs figures โฆ Whenever possible, [he] wanted his visitors to see his most attractive employees.โ
However, the women in his life have been nothing if unwavering in their support of the billionaire. Both Melania and Ivanka took centrestage during the convention to sell the 70-year-old to the female voters. Melania delivered a one-line pitch directed to wives, girlfriends, and single women everywhere. โDonald,โ insisted Melania to the darkened sea of faces before her, โis intensely loyal.โ The pitch that Trump is โloyalโ is both curious and jarring, coming from the third wife of a man infamous for both his extramarital dalliances and his history of divorcing older wives in order to pursue younger ones. Even in the pro-Trump convention hall, eyebrows raise.
The women in Trumpโs life are staunch in their support, rallying the female vote
Back across town at the Republican candidateโs rally, Diamond and Silk are finishing up. โAre we on the Trump train? Are we all aboard?โ
โAll aboard!โ voices in the crowd yell.
The event security team is stationed around the stage. Instead of using police, the Trump camp is using members of the group Bikers for Trump, a loose affiliation of motorcycle gangs who support The Donald. They are dressed like extras from a Sons Of Anarchy episode, and they line up in front of the crowd, sunglasses on and burly arms crossed, scowling at the crowd as if daring someone โ anyone โ to approach the stage.
But despite speakers trying to get the crowd riled up throughout the day, most of the men around me arenโt even pretending to pay attention to the stage. Theyโre focused on the three women the crowd has dubbed the Trump Babes, who appear to be paid models imported by one of the rallyโs sponsors. They stand to the side of the stage, still visible to the audience, so that if someone was filming it would give the illusion that Trump fans are all beautiful young women. Together, the Trump Babes consist of one blonde, one brunette, and one redhead, because, of course, they do.
Later, a woman takes the stage to give a heartfelt talk about the tragic loss of her son, a young man brutally murdered by an illegal immigrant. What she lacks in public-speaking experience she makes up for in emotion. The crowd palpably grieves with her. Meanwhile, the Trump Babes donโt seem interested; instead theyโre taking smiling selfies of themselves to Tweet to the world.
I restart a conversation with Tom, the scruffy young guy in his mid-20s from Indiana who was on the hunt for #TrumpGirlsBreakTheInternet starlets. Tom tells me he never cared for politics until this year. I ask him about his โHillary for Prisonโโ T-shirt. Does he really want Trump to lock up Hillary Clinton? โOf course not,โ he says, as he shakes his head, โThatโs just what the T-shirt said when I bought it.โ We stand quietly watching the crowd for a moment before he adds, โI think Hilary needs to be publicly hanged.โ Then he turns on his heel and heads back into the crowd. Heโs off to โfind some babesโ. Good luck with that.

Sarah Jessica Parker recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to talk about her new show, Divorce.
She spoke about how proud she was of the show and the story it told, and especially of the way it did things differently, which Jimmy Kimmel pointed out was quite brave coming off such a beloved show like Sex and the City.
But Sarah Jessica Parker said it wasnโt always a sure choice with Sex and the City. She spoke about how different HBO was back when the show started airing.
โIt was interesting at the timeโฆ HBO was pretty much a male-dominated sports network,โ she said. โIt was a network for boxing and really important live sporting events, and I think they had a couple of scripted shows, but those were like male-dominated, the Dream On and like the football show, you know?โ
Though she was very intrigued and interested by the show, she said that she double-guessed her choice.
โI thought it was an interesting role, and I loved that script, and then when I finished it, I completely forgot about it because I went on and did a play or whatever. And then I ran into somebody on the street and they were like, โOh, you know, I saw your show,โ and I was like, โWhat show?โ And they were like โYou did a show called Sex and the City.โ And I was like, โOh right! Right, right, right.โ And I was like, โYou saw it? I havenโt seen it.โ And she was like, โYeah, itโs great.โ And I was like โOh, all right.โ (shrugs) And then they finally said, โYou know, weโre going to do it.โ And I was like, โI donโt know. I donโt know. I feel like the moment passed. I feel like maybe Iโm not so keen to commit toโโbut I was foolish, and people wisely talked me out of it, and I went to set the first day and never looked back.โ

Back in June Spanish wine-making start-up Gik hit our radar and Instagram feedโs with their (allegedly delicious) blue wine.
Fans of alcohol and Parks and Recreation will know that ~Blueberry~ Wine has existed for a long time, but this unique new creation is made with grapes like traditional wines, so the flavour is still totally on point, but with a serious point of difference.
Previously only available in Europe, blue wine is now officially in Oz courtesy of The Blue Bird.
The drop retails for $10 and is available nationwide from Liquorland.
But before you go spending your hard earned dosh, we thought weโd take one for the team and trial it ourselves.
Hereโs what the marie claire team had to say:
โItโs actually not too bad. The colour is confusing, it tastes like white wine but a little sweeter. Not as much bitter after taste as some white wines though.โ
โIt tastes kind of like Moscato, itโs very sweet โ Iโm not huge on sweet winesโฆโ
โIt just tastes like Rosรฉโ.
โI can taste the hangover before it happensโฆโ
โThe colour just reminds me of drinking โlolly waterโ drinks back in the day.โ
โItโs fun for a gimmick, but I think Iโll stick to Rosรฉโฆโ
โMy Instagram feed will LOVE this!โ
โI donโt hate it โ itโs sweeter than I thought it would be though.โ

We didnโt even get a spoiler out of this oneโฆbut itโs only made us even more excited for the four new episodes to finally come out! November 25 could not come soon enough.
Hopefully weโll get more of a clue before thenโฆ

Amanda Knox was accused of killing her roommate Meredith Kercher in Italy in 2007 and now a new documentary from Netflix is taking a closer look at the case, including the brutal murder, as well as the legal battle surrounding it which has been going on for years.
Speaking to Good Morning America, Knox explains her reasons for getting involved in the documentary, which aims to show both sides of the story.
โWhat Iโm trying to convey is a regular person like me, just a kid who was studying abroad who loves languages, could be caught up in this nightmare where theyโre portrayed as something theyโre not,โ said the 29-year-old.
โI think Iโm trying to explain what it feels like to be wrongfully convicted, to either be this terrible monster or to be just a regular person who is vulnerable.โ
Following the murder, Knox was convicted by an Italian court of killing Kercher, but that decision was later overturned in October 2011 after an appeal and four years in prison.
In 2013, after having returned to the US, Knox was ordered a retrial where she was once again found guilty and sentenced to 28 years in prison. However in March 2015 her second conviction was overturned and she was officially a few woman.
The documentary, made for Netflix by filmmakers Rod Blackhurst and Brian McGinn, premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in September, and seeks to show the story from all angles.
โWhat I really appreciate about this documentary is that itโs good journalism, in the sense that they give you the reliable facts of the case and they say, โDecide for yourself,'โ Knox said. โBy showing who was a part of it, not just me, not just my co-defendant but also the prosecutor and the media, theyโre shedding more light on what happened than all the speculation thatโs been put out there combined.โ
The documentary also features interviews with Knoxโs co-accused Raffaele Sollecito (who was also twice convicted and twice exonerated), as well as never-before-seen footage of Kercher as well as phone conversations between Knox and Sollecito as late as 2015.
The film will also re-air gruesome footage from the crime scene, as well as footage of Knox and Sollecito kissing outside the crime scene which, at the time, was seen as evidence of their guilt.
Despite the couple being eventually exonerated, there are still many who believe the pair were behind the brutal murder and the documentary hopes to cover both opposing views.
in the trailer for the documentary, which is available on netflix now, Know asks, โEither Iโm a psychopath in sheepโs clothing, or I am you.โ

Theyโre the happiest people on earth, and experts think a little thing the Danes call hygge could be the secret: a life philosophy that encourages the savouring of everyday pleasures. Hannah-Rose Yee tries out this pursuit of happiness.
Hygge. Like much of Danish, the word doesnโt sound anything like it looks. Say Hugh. Pronounce a strong G at the end (as in Grant, without the, er, rant). There, youโve got it. Hygge. The most important word in the Danish language.
I first heard that distinct, guttural sound on a cobblestone backstreet in Copenhagen, wrapped up in a scarf the size of a small child and drinking hot chocolate. (All things that are very hygge, although I didnโt know it at the time.) I was on a free walking tour of the Danish capital because I was at the tail end of a Scandinavian holiday that had rendered me stark raving skint.
There was an expat Brit leading the tour and in whispered tones โ this wasnโt his first rodeo โ he gathered us tourists in close. โDo you want to know the secret to Danish happiness?โ he asked. โHygge.โโBless you,โ someone said, sotto voce. The guide ploughed on. He explained that hygge was about sitting by an open fire having a glass of wine, drinking coffee in bed, watching TV snuggled up on the couch. Itโs a philosophy, a life-style: an ode to cosiness and pleasure. Itโs about taking time every single day to experience something that makes you happy. โAnd itโs why I moved here five years ago,โ our guide said with a wink.
Photographed by Jason Ierace.
Hygge is also the biggest trend in the world of self-improvement, one thatโs about to take over your bookshelf. Theyโre calling it the โscand-wagonโ, with five hygge-centric guides-to-life slated for release in the coming months. So why all this sudden interest?
โA lot of lifestyle philosophies are rooted in that weโre not good enough as we are,โ explains Charlotte Abrahams, author of the design-centric Hygge (Orion, $32.99). โHygge is the opposite. It doesnโt have any rules. Itโs generous-spirited. And you can eat cake!โ
Hygge might not have any rules, but there is a set of guidelines that you need to follow. I turn to Meik Wiking, CEO of the Danish Happiness Research Institute and author of the forthcoming The Little Book Of Hygge (Penguin, $24.99). โHygge is about trying to build little moments of joy and happiness into your life,โ Wiking tells me. โItโs the pursuit of everyday happiness.โ
For years, Wiking has been trying to work out why Denmark tops the World Happiness Index. He thinks that it may be hygge, a concept that is an integral part of the Danish cultural DNA. Danes donโt have the monopoly on eating cake, snuggling by the fire and perennially wearing natural fibres. But they do have the monopoly on the singular cultural obsession with which they pursue that feeling of cosiness. โWhat hygge does is create a language of pleasure that shapes our behaviours and makes us more focused on experiencing everyday happiness,โ he explains.
I start my week of living Danishly with an easy update: mood lighting. A hygge home is warm and inviting and one easy way to achieve that is candlelight. โNo candles, no hygge,โ as Wiking puts it. Wiking tells me that he even has candles burning at all times in his office, a suggestion that is politely, but firmly shut down by my workโs HR manager. I resort to filling my flat with candlelight that evening. Unfortunately, the only candles at home are scented and the combination of their aromas is suffocating. Still, I soldier on and hit the main light switch, preparing to get cosy. I immediately stub my toe. Itโs very dark, like, primordial dark. I slump onto the sofa in a huff. I have to strain my eyes to see the pages of my book; I give up and head to bed for a fruitless hour on The Internet.
Creating candle-lit environments is an important element of Hygge.
The next morning I hit snooze on my alarm seven times. I had grand plans of cooking breakfast โ boiled eggs, very Danish โ and eating them in my courtyard, not standing up at my kitchen counter, checking emails on my phone. This is Abrahamsโs favourite hygge thing to do, but all the snoozing has made me very late for work, and I grab vegemite toast and a sad-looking cup of coffee from the office cafeteria. Badly done, indeed.
โFood is the very centre of hygge,โ Jesper Hansen, the Danish founder of Sydneyโs Blond Catering, tells me. โDanes spend hours on home-cooked meals and also dressing the table to get the right mood.โ So I ask Hansen and his head chef, Magnus, whether shovelling a carton of Thai takeaway into my mouth while watching, say, James Nortonโs shirtless scene in Grantchester on repeat, is hygge? Magnus pauses for what is an almost comical length of time. โMaybe if you put the Thai on a nice plate and arrange coriander on top,โ he ventures at last, with an unconvinced look on his face. OK, takeaway is out.
Hansen suggests creating dishes like frikadeller (Danish meatballs), smรธrrebrรธd (open rye bread with intricate toppings), and curried herrings. Iโm not convinced about the fish, but I can get down with the smรธrrebrรธd. I decide to make some for my friends who are bringing their newborn baby to my place for Sunday brunch. Danes love socialising. Almost 80 per cent of them catch up with friends once a week; and you get extra points for hosting them at home. Iโm looking forward to this catch-up, which has the makings of a super hygge event: food, friends and baby cuddles.
Plot twist: Smรธrrebrรธd is the haute couture of Danish cuisine! You have to obscure all traces of the rye bread with artfully fanned out pieces of avocado, wafer thin slices of cured fish (what else?) and tiny little floral arrangements of herbs. They are ridiculously finicky, and every time I think Iโve got one looking perfect, the entire thing slides to one side. By the time my friends arrive, Iโm not feeling at all warm and cosy.
The art of making smรธrrebrรธds (open rye bread sandwiches) is a part of living the Danish philosopy
A note: when they say that hygge means cosy, they not only mean that nice warm fuzzy feeling you get when you do something for yourself, they also mean literally cosy. Itโs all about the oversized cardigans, the scarves and beanies and the hygge- bukser (comfy pants). In the spirit of this story, I spend most of the week in a rotating roster of knits and an oversized turtleneck midi dress, even when the weather soars to a warm mid-20s winter high.
Fortuitously, Iโve chosen that day for my hygge-sanctioned early mark. Danes work an average of six and a half hours a day, clocking off at 3.30pm. Leaving work early isnโt aboutskiving off, but rather about ensuring Danes work to live, and not the other way around. Because days are so short in winter, the 3pm finishes allow Danes to catch up with friends or spend time outdoors with their kids.
Another thing the Danes do tomake the working week more palatable is eat cake. Lots of cake. Getting hygge at work is simply a matter of downing tools in the afternoon for a cinnamon scroll and a cup of coffee, says Wiking, and โ hereโs the important bit โ not feeling guilty about it. So before I stride purposefully out of the office at half past three, I eat a delicious sticky bun. And then I have half of another one.
By the time I start cycling in Sydneyโs Centennial Park itโs golden hour, and the sunshine is sparkling. Truly, itโs a pleasant feeling: cycling as the light bounces off thetrees, not being in the office on a Friday afternoon. When I get home I pull on my hygge- bukser and make a slow, delicious dinner, which I eat curled up on the couch. This is what Wiking tells me is Friday-specific hygge, unwinding after a long week. I donโt recall feeling so happy without the use of legal substances (red wine).
The rest of the weekend passes in a blissful blur. I read books โ plural! โ and take long baths. By the time Sunday comes, Iโm in the hygge zone. Thereโs a special kind of Sunday hygge, which essentially involves staying in bed all day. I snuggle, I nap.
When I wake up on Monday, I only snooze my alarm once. Instead of grabbing lunch on the go, I prepare a pared-back version of smรธrrebrรธd. And while I donโt quite leave the office at 3.30pm, I am out of there less than two hours later, a personal best for me.
โAustralia has good growing conditions for hyggeโ โ Danish Happiness Research Institute
Reader, I felt good. On a scale of the contented blushing emoji to derangedly jumping on Oprahโs couch, Iโm sitting firmly at a Leonardo DiCaprio, the day he got his Oscar nomination.
Wiking believes that โover time experiencing a lot of positive emotions everyday can contribute to higher levels of life satisfactionโ. But living hygge isnโt for the faint-hearted. The hours youโre expected to put into making yourself happy can be exhausting. Sometimes you donโt want to prepare elaborate meals. Sometimes a girl just wants a whole pizza delivered by an obliging man on a Foodora bicycle. But the hygge benefits are too pressing to be ignored. When I tell Wiking about how happy I am heโs delighted. โI think Australia has good growing conditions for hygge,โ he muses. He points out that socialising over shared meals is already part of our culture โ the humble Australian barbecue might constitute its own hybrid form of hygge.
Hansen agrees but adds, โTo make it more hygge, Iโd add candles!โ Of course. That night, I feel incredibly self-satisfied. I book flights to Copenhagen for a holiday next month. Only this time, I know all the secrets.

Margot Robbie and Domhnall Gleeson โ the adorable almost-couple from your favourite romcom of recent years About Time โ are teaming up once more.
The film is Goodbye Christopher Robin, the long-awaited biopic of A.A Milne, creator of the beloved Winnie the Pooh stories, Deadline reports. Gleeson, 33, a bumbling Irishman of the Hugh Grant, Colin Firth-esque variety, will play the author, while Robbie will take on the role of Daphne, his first wife and mother to Christopher Robin Milne, their son and the inspiration for the series.
And today, the first images from the film โ which is shooting in London now โ were released, showing Gleeson and Robbie outfitted in โ20s fashion. The vintage clothes are a world away from Robbieโs past charactersโ wardrobes, from Harley Quinnโs iconic sequinned hotpants to the ghetto-fabulous fashion of The Wolf Of Wall Street. Andโฆ is that a shingled flapper-esque bob we spy?

Wondering how Robbie and Gleeson match up to the real life Daphne and A.A Milne? Scroll to the bottom to see an image of the couple in the โ20s.
The film is still untitled, but like all good biopics, thereโs the perfect mix of nostalgia, romance, history, familiarity and drama in this story, which will follow the Milnes from the moment of Winnie the Pooh, Piglet and Eeyoreโs creation through the burgeoning global success of the books and the side effects that fame like this can bring.
The real-life Christopher Robin was haunted by the spectre of his literary incarnation, and said that his fatherโs stories โbrought me over the years more toe-curling, fist-clenching, lip-biting embarrassment than any other.โ
At the time of his fatherโs death in 1956, Robin was estranged from his parents, and he never saw his widowed mother in the 15 years that she outlived her husband. He was, however, very close to his nanny Olive Rand. โFor over eight years, apart from her fortnightโs holiday every September, we had not been out of each otherโs sight for more than a few hours at a time,โ Robin has said of her.

Talk about a cracker of a plot! Itโs safe to say weโre already excited for this film, which will be directed by Simon Curtis, who nailed the biopic thing with his most recent flick My Week With Marilyn.
โWe are assembling a wonderful cast, headed by two actors I am longing to work with โ Domhnall Gleeson and Margot Robbie,โ Curtis said in a press release.
Two major Hollywood stars, a beloved literary character and a period setting? Sounds like this film could be heading straight for Awards Season, do not pass go, do not collect $200. Watch this space.

Police have charged a man with the murder of his wife after her body was found inside their Potts Point apartment in Sydney yesterday.
The 35-year-old was found after her father raised the alarm with police over concerns for her welfare after having received a call form his son-in-law.
The woman suffered a number of stab wounds, and the police had uncovered what is believed to have been the weapon used, reports The Sydney Morning Herald.

Weโve been waiting all week for another glimpse of the littlest royals during their trip to Canada, and today we finally have it.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte joined their parents, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, for a royal playdate at Government House in Victoria complete with petting zoo, a puppet show, balloons and bubbles.
Just like any other kids their age, the adorable duo were in heaven, running around chasing bubbles and playing with the animals.
16-month-old Charlotte showed sheโs already quite the little walker โ marking the first time sheโs been seen walking in public โ while Prince George was a typical toddler tearing around, and even had a ride on a pony.
As well as showing off her walking skills, Charlotte also spoke her first words in public, saying โpopโ at the balloons and calling out โDadaโ to Prince William.
Charlotte was wearing all blue for the occasion in a Pepa &Co dress with a navy cardigan and blue shoes. Prince George wore a blue jumper, red shorts and his staple knee-high socks.
Mum Kate also dressed up for the occasion, braving it in a white crochet dress by See by Chloe which retails for around $600.
The party was also attended by families from the Esquimalt Military Family Resource Centre.

After the Jon Snow revelation of Season 6, where Bran Stark realises that Jonโs parents are Ned Starkโs sister Lyanna and most likely Rhaegar Targaryen, we have been waiting to see who will play Rhaegar. Because Devin has silver hair in this shot, it is highly likely that he will play Rhaegar!

A new study in Denmark has shown a link between hormonal contraception and depression in women.
Researchers looked at the medical records of over one million women and adolescent girls to determine whether there was a link between taking hormonal contraception and antidepressant prescription. The study was published in the Journal of the American Medical Association of Psychiatry.
The study showed that women who were taking hormonal contraception, such as the pill, implants, IUDs and patches were affected. It found that women taking the combined oestrogen-progestogen pill were 23% more likely to be prescribed antidepressants than women not taking the pill. Women taking progestin-only pills were 34% more likely to be prescribed anti-depressants.
Perhaps most worryingly, adolescent girls faced a much higher risk of depression if they were taking the pill โ they were 80% more likely to be taking anti-depressants on the combined pill and twice as likely on the progestin-only pill. This risk decreased as women got older โ however adult women were still 1.2 times more likely to be on anti-depressants.
ABCโs Hack program on Triple J spoke to one of the scientists behind the study, Dr รjvind Lidegaard, who said that it was important to be aware of the side effects of the pill.
โWe were following women who, from the beginning, were mentally healthy,โ Dr Lidegaard said. โWe can see that, especially with young women, there is a significantly increased risk of developing depression after starting up on hormone contraception.โ
โIf they develop depression after going on hormone contraception, they should know it could be related. Women should have that knowledge,โ he added.
Their discussion of the study has already encouraged many women to engage with their Facebook post, and theyโve offered their own negative experiences with the pill, and the positive effects from coming off it.
However Dr Ali Kubba, a fellow of the faculty of sexual and reproductive healthcare of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, told The Guardian that the study raised a lot of questions and more investigation is needed.
โThere is existing clinical evidence that hormonal contraception can impact some womenโs moods, however, from this study there is no way of linking causation, therefore further research is needed to examine depression as a potential adverse effect of hormonal contraceptive use,โ he said.
โWomen should not be alarmed by this study as all women react differently to different methods of contraception. There are a variety of contraception methods on offer including the pill, implants, injections, intrauterine devices, and vaginal rings and we therefore advise women to discuss their options with a doctor, where they will discuss the possible side-effects and decisions around the most suitable method can be made jointly.โ

While every brideโs dress is special, when Kathryn Boyd walked down the aisle towards actor Josh Brolin at their dreamy ceremony in North Carolina, hers had an extra special meaning.
The dress was not only self-designed, which was a lifelong dream of hers, but was also made from the lace off her motherโs wedding dress.
โA lifelong dream to design my own wedding dress, and yesterday that dream came true,โ she wrote on Instagram.
โMy design, my motherโs lace, sewed together and crafted by the most brilliant Christie Hudson Couture. Thank you Chris for helping me make this dress my most favorite garment Iโve ever seen. You are a master.โ
The stunning gown featured a classic spaghetti strap design with a plunging back. The lace was then overlaid over her shoulders and gathered at the back, spilling down into a flowing train.

January Jones is on trend in a scarlet red shade โ what seems to be the colour of the week!
She wore a top and trouser set from Victoria Beckhamโs Victoria line to promote her new series, The Last Man On Earth.
She paired the look with a daring red lip to top things off.
The Duchess of Cambridge has also been wearing a lot of red this week on her royal tour of Canada with Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
Earlier this week, Kate dazzled in a red cocktail dress by British designer Preen, which featured an asymmetrical hemline, and midi-length skirt.
Most recently, she also wore a double-breasted red coat by Carolina Herrera, which she paired with her Miu Miu clutch, a pair of burgundy heels, and her hair in a chic up-do.
The bright red hue has also been political this week, with Hillary Clinton rocking a red pantsuit for her first presidential debate against Donald Trump.
It even made an appearance on The Bachelorette last night, with Georgia Love looking like a real-life rose in her stunning red gown, and Courtney matching her in a red blazer!

An Adelaide mother whose husband was murdered by their son has vowed to go on loving him despite the tragedy.
Former Adelaide Crows coach Phil Walsh, 55, was killed by his son, Cy, last July. He died in his family home after being stabbed 20 times with a hunting knife.
According to The Age, Cy Walsh was yesterday found not guilty of murder because he was deemed to be mentally incompetent at the time.
His mother Meredith Walsh prepared a statement to be read in court, which said: โMy heart remains broken. My daughter is also shatteredโฆ I will continue to love and support my son as his father has always done.โ
According to documents submitted to court, Cy has suffered from mental health problems since 2011. He heard voices, felt a demonic force pressing on him and had at time believed that his father was the devil.
He had been in and out of psychiatric hospitals, and had a history of drug-taking. However, the court heard that he was not under the influence of drugs at the time of the murder.
Ms Walsh has called for increased resources and information for families living with mental health issues.
According to the ABC, Ms Walsh said that privacy rules in relation to patients with mental illnesses need to be reviewed.
On two occasions, doctors told her son to continue to take medication, but didnโt alert the family of this. โBecause he was an adult the medical profession, as the law allows, didnโt involve any other person with his health care,โ she said, according to the ABC.
โThis is where privacy issues need to be reviewed in these types of cases where someoneโs mental state is gradually escalating and putting themselves at risk.โ

Lately Lanvin has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons: declining profits, the unceremonious ousting of creative director Alber Elbaz in 2015 and the ugly lawsuit that ensued.
But it looks like Bouchra Jarrar, who just showed her first collection for the 187-year old fashion house, has hit refresh.
Lanvin Spring โ17 (Credit: Getty )
Jarrar, who has worked for Balenciaga and Christian Lacroix and closed her eponymous line to take up the helm of Lanvin, has a knack for precision tailoring, draping and creating.
Held at the opulent Hรดtel de Ville, fluid silhouettes, new takes on the tuxedo and a mainly black and white palette set the tone. Streamlined separates โ longline vests, biker jackets, sharply cut trousers โ made way for more theatrical touches like feathered collars and bolts of cobalt blue.
See-through blouses and skirts mightnโt be everyoneโs cup of tea (and will no doubt come lined once the styles hit stores), but all in all Jarrarโs vision for the house is both sophisticated and super-wearable.

Itโs no secret that James Corden loves to belt out a tune, but James Corden took it to a whole new level this week.
The comedian was joined on The Late Late Show by A.J. McLean, Nick Carter, Brian Littrell, Howie Dorough, and Kevin Richardson of the Backstreet Boys to celebrate their upcoming Las Vegas Residency at Planet Hollywood.
But not content to merely interview the boys like most talk show hosts, the 38-year-old took to the stage with them to belt out their classic, โEverybodyโ.
During the show James was on a โbring back the boybandโ campaign.
โIโm talking about the cute one, the funny one, the nice one, the other one, and the maverick who refused to play by the rules, all living together in a weird mansion in Orlando,โ he said.
โBut now, they just stand on stage, wearing skinny jeans and Vans sneakers, and some of themโฆ even have the audacity to pick up instruments,โ he joked.
โThat is not what I want in a boy band. I want matching outfits, synchronized dancing, and way over budget music videos.โ

The shoulders on the Jil Sander runway were American footballer sized. I mean, GIANT. Some of the silhouettes and fabrics also felt quite โ80s โ there were a couple of pin-striped suiting looks that wouldโve suited Melanie Griffith in Working Girl โ but there was more going on with these shoulders than mere throwback.
Jil Sander Spring โ17 (Credit: Getty )
Whether exaggeratedly curved in plisse silk to form a disc-like silhouette, or aggressively wide and square in leather or suiting fabrics, these shoulders speak of both strength and cocooning in an uncertain world.
Jil Sander has always been an avant-garde label, and while Sander herself has moved on, current creative director Rodolfo Paglialunga has picked up the boundary-testing approach and run with it. But it was another iconoclastic brand that ushered in the too-big-for-you look: Vetements. Itโll be interesting to see if they stick with it for Spring โ17.
At Marni, too, pumped up volume was the focus, with sleeves sipping below the finger tips, baggy shirt dresses, ruched to give structure, and over-sized canvas trenches anchored by enormous pockets and bags. Here, the silhouette was looser and more free; the ultra-wide and dropped shoulders somehow looked graceful. Still, it takes a while to get your eye in โ weโre just not used to these shapes yet.
Marni Spring โ17 (Credit: Getty )Marni Spring โ17 (Credit: Getty )
Even those who didnโt embrace them zeroed in on the enclosed shoulder as a source of fascination. Dolce and Gabbana covered theirs in gold tassels, military braid and flowers. Dsquared2โs jackets featured exaggerated puffed sleeves in contrasting pink, green and purple silk.

Youโre probably not going to wear them, right? But donโt go thinking this has nothing to do with you. With barely a cold shoulder in sight on the Spring โ17 runways, this signals the death-knell for those off-the-shoulder tops everyone is wearing now. Weโd reached peak OTS top anyway, I reckon. Time for a change.

During Day 5 of the Royal Tour of Canada, The Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William visited Whitehorse, Yukon where they were greeted by Canadian Rangers and junior rangers before being treated to a performance at the Kwanlin Dun Cultural Centre.
While Kate looked gorgeous in a green trench coat from Hobbs, we couldnโt help but notice Kateโs hair.
While her hair is always glossy and shiny and styled to perfection, this look was giving us serious flashback to the early 2000s.
The Duchess had styled her hair with strands of hair softly twisted back and held with a pair of mini hair claws.
If you want to make like Kate you can shop them here.
According to the Daily Mail Kate is traveling with her trusty hair stylist Amanda Cook Tucker for the Royal Tour so weโre guessing she is the one behind Kateโs look.

Less than a week after Gigi Hadid was forced to defend herself against a man who grabbed her on the street in Milan after leaving the max Mara show, Kim Kardashian has been targeted by the same man.
Vitalii Sediuk, who considers himself a โpranksterโ, snuck up on the reality star and appeared to attempt to kiss her on her rear as she walked through the crowd of fans and photographers.
However this isnโt the first time Sediuk has targeted Kim, he nearly knocked her to the ground after the Balmain show during Paris Fashion Week in 2014.
The Ukranian-born trouble maker, who is banned from the United States, has also previously targeted Anna Wintour, Brad Pitt, Bradley Cooper, Will Smith and Miranda Kerr.
After the incident with Gigi last week, Sediuk told The Hollywood Reporter that the motives behind the assault were a protest against the model her bestie Kendall Jenner and the rest of the Kardashians.
โWhile I consider Gigi Hadid beautiful, she and her friend Kendall Jenner have nothing to do with high fashion. By doing this, I encourage the fashion industry to put true talents on the runway and Vogue covers instead of well-connected cute girls from Instagram,โ Sediuk says.
โYou can call it a manifest or a protest. This is also a wake-up call for Anna Wintour, who turned Vogue into a tabloid by putting Kardashians and other similar celebrities on a cover of a well respected magazine,โ he adds.

If youโre a mother, and you breastfed your babies, and then maybe decided to have a few drinks on the town, itโs possible that you โpumped and dumpedโ โas itโs known in the biz.
Or perhaps you had too much stock in the freezer, and eventually you thawed out the packets and poured milk you couldnโt use down the sink.
If this is you, perhaps take a seat, because weโre here to tell you that you actually might have ยญโ literally โ poured hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars worth of liquid gold down the toilet.
Tonight on The Feed on SBS 2 at 7.30, they look into this booming industry and why grown ups are partaking too.
Still from SBS 2โs The Feed
Breast milk sharing/banking is no new concept. There are Facebook groups set up to help facilitate sharing and requesting between mothers for their children with thousands of women involved, buuuut what about selling it, say, to GROWN UPS?
Deep breath, letโs say it againโฆ GROWNUPS ARE BUYING AND DRINKING BREAST MILK.
Just take a second to let that settle.
The fact is thereโs a market and the market pays very good money for breast milk โ like $100 a litre good, according to Australiaโs foremost breast milk economist Julie Veccio.
And if you think about it objectively, it kind of makes sense. We drink other animalโs milk like it ainโt no thang; cowsโ milk, goatsโ milk, sheepsโ milk, human milk โ whatโs the difference?
Plus, there are plenty of benefits of breastmilk for babies โ perfect vitamin composition, easily digested, organic โ so why not for adults?
Still from SBS 2โs The Feed
The black market buyers claim itโs an elixir that can help sports performance, general wellbeing and ward off disease.
But there are a few issues โ first up, the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine has published a paper thatโs debunked a lot of the hype by identifying the minimal amount of protein in human milk, as opposed to cowsโ milk.
Plus, thereโs the all-important issue of quality control. On the black market, thereโs no way to ensure sufficient sanitisation, refrigeration and transportation, which means contamination with the same bacteria that causes foodborne illness.
Still from SBS 2โs The Feed
Then thereโs the issue of pathogens, including hepatitis, syphilis and HIV, which can all be present in breast milk.
But the internet is the internet and where thereโs a will thereโs a way.
All we advise is if you absolutely must be a grown up drinking boob juice, be careful out there. And maybe donโt offer it at dinner parties.

Sharon McManus lost her newborn in a devastating accident at Wagga Wagga hospital back in 2010. While the pain still feels raw and relentless, yesterday McManus was awarded nearly $1.8 million in damages.
The NSW woman suffered severe gastroenteritis during her pregnancy, which landed her in hospital for three weeks in April 2010. The day after her release, she returned for tests where the doctors decided to schedule an emergency C-section for that afternoon.
McManusโs next memory is waking up and being told her son โdidnโt make itโ.
The tragic news saw her spiral into a harrowing depression, experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder and a โperpetual feeling of fear and horrorโ. The grieving mother become an alcoholic, suffered insomnia and was admitted to hospital for psychiatric care.
McManus and her husband took the Murrumbidgee Local Area Health Network to court for medical negligence; the network admitted liability.
In court, Justice Ian Gordon Harrison ruled that the babyโs death could have been avoided if the caesarean had been performed earlier. He said hospital staff failed to monitor McManusโs antenatal period and labour properly, and that the trauma she endured would gravely affect her present and future.
โHer post-traumatic stress disorder and depressed and anxious state render her disabled on an ongoing and unrelenting basis from enjoying or participating in a wide range of fundamental activities of daily life,โ he said. โThis situation is likely in my view to continue for the whole of Ms McManusโs life, with little real or tangible prospect of improvement.โ

That cute guy you swiped right on, with the selfie for a profile picture? Probably a fake account, new research suggests.
Thereโs an overwhelming correlation between the use of selfies and the rise of fake profiles, according to a study of top British dating sites and apps by Scamalytics.
More than 65% of fake profiles use selfies as their main picture, probably because their sheer ubiquity makes them incredibly easy to steal from the annals of the Internet.
โWhile it is obviously hard to โfakeโ a selfie,โ dating expert Charly Lester told marie claire UK, โit is increasingly easy to steal selfies from social media. Twitter and Instagram are full of selfies of celebrities and normal people, which can be very easily copied, and then added to fake profiles.โ

About 45 minutes into presidential debate on Tuesday, Hillary Clinton fired an impressive salvo โ reminding America that Donald Trump โis a man who has called women pigs, slobs and dogs.โ
At the centre of her argument was the story of former Miss Universe Alicia Machado, who competed and won the title representing Venezuela in 1996 when she was 19 years old. However Machado quickly became the subject of a media frenzy when she she reportedly gained 8 kilos during her subsequent reign as Miss Universe.
Trump, then executive producer of the pageant, responded by inciting a fat-shaming PR campaign, inviting media to an exclusive gym to snap photos as he made Machado do sit ups, jump rope and ride an exercise bike in front of the cameras.
Machado winning Miss Universe and right, working out for the press.
In recounting the mortifying incident to The New York Times, Machado said she was on the verge of tears and had pleaded with Trump to not make her do it. โI said, โI donโt want to do this, Mr. Trump.โ He said, โI donโt care.โโ
Trumpโs vulnerabilities with both women and Hispanics was brilliantly utilized by Clinton, who moved Machado to tears when she recalled Trumpโs slurs against her.
โAnd one of the worst things he said was about a woman in a beauty contest โ he loves beauty contests, supporting them and hanging around them โ and he called this woman โMiss Piggy,โ then he called her โMiss Housekeepingโ because she was Latina,โ Clinton said.
She continued: โDonald, she has a name. Her name is Alicia Machado. And she has become a US citizen and you can bet she is going to vote this November.โ
Machado, who watched the debate with her family and has urged Americans to defeat Trump in the upcoming election, said that his comments had taken a huge toll on her physical and emotional wellbeing. โAfter that episode, I was sick, had anorexia and bulimia for five years,โ she told Inside Edition. โOver the past 20 years, Iโve gone to a lot of psychologists to combat this.โ
For his part, Trump has refused to back down from his criticism of Machado, defending his position in an interview with Fox and Friends this week.
โShe was the winner and you know, she gained a massive amount of weight and it was a real problem. We had a real problem,โ he said. โNot only that, her attitude, and we had a real problem with her, so Hillary went back into the years and she found this girl โ this was many years ago. And found the girl and talked about her like she was Mother Theresa. And it wasnโt quite that way but thatโs OK. Hillary has to do what she has to do.โ
On Monday, after the presidential debate, Machado tweeted in Spanish, โThank you Mrs. Hillary Clinton your respect for women and our differences make you great! Iโm with you!โ

According to a new study, something so simple as a monthly date night could be the secret to a healthy marriage.
Couple who leave their children, pets, tamagotchiโs โ ok how about we just say distractions โ at home at least once a month to spend time solely focused on each other are 14 per cent less likely to split, says the study.
โFor married couples, date night has a meaning,โ Harry Benson, research director at the Marriage Foundation, and Stephen McKay, professor in social research at Lincoln University told the Daily Mail.
โFor the typical cohabiting couple, with a little less clarity and more ambiguity about the prospect of their whole lives together, the occasional night out has less meaning. Itโs less intentional, simply a night out.โ
The study of almost 10,000 couples, found that while increasing the frequency of date nights did not increase the chances of staying together, other factors such as education and age also come into play.
Any excuse to spend more time our loved ones is good in our books, so time to lock in a date night this weekend!

If like us youโre more familiar with fashion blogger Nadia Bartel than her AFL playing husband, Jimmy, you can be forgiven for being so distracted by her dazzling JโAton Courute jumpsuit that you didnโt notice his seriously bushy beard on the red carpet at this weekโs Brownlow Medal.
However once you see it, you canโt unsee it. As far as beards go itโs pretty epic โ you almost canโt see his bow tie under it.
But it turns out itโs not just a vanity thing, or perhaps a superstitious footy thing, but rather it has a much more incredible meaning behind it.
The 32-year-old Geelong player hasnโt shaved since before the beginning of the AFL season in March in the hopes of raising awareness around Domestic Violence.
โI am going to be clean-shaven, with a fresh haircut, before Round 1, and then I wonโt be shaving until after the Grand Finalโฆ if I can get kids asking their father why I have a big dirty beard and long ratty hair, I will be achieving something. I would love it if a father has to explain to his son or daughter that Iโm doing it to raise awareness around domestic violence, and to also explain the issues surrounding domestic violence, and to have an important conversation around it.โ
Earlier this year, Jimmy bravely revealed his own experiences as a child, living with an abusive father.
โI remember where I was, how the house was set up, where I was standing,โ he told The Herald Sun.
โI remember Mum being on the floor in the hallway; he had repeatedly hit her, and she was trying to crawl away from him. I remember Olivia (his eldest sister) trying to push him away from Mum, and he physically threw her against the wall, like a rag doll, which is hard to comprehend.โ
โHe hit her a lot. Never when she was looking though, that was the key. He would always make sure she had turned away, and then heโd belt her.โ
Despite attempting to leave multiple times, Jimmy says his mother always ended up getting dragged back into the cycle of abuse.
โOne of the difficult things for many women is trying to leave when youโre stuck financially,โ he continued.
โEmotionally, your self-worth is taken away from you, so it is hard to get the confidence to take that leap.โ
After bravely sharing his story, the father-of-one decided he was in a position to be able to make a difference, and wanted to do more and started the โFace Up To DVโ campaign.
At this weekโs Brownlow Awards, Jimmy was awarded the Jim Stynes Community Leadership Award and $40,000 donation for his campaign.
All the proceeds raised from the campaign go to the Luke Batty Foundation and Bethany, a Geelong-based female support group. Click here to donate to the campaign.

Justin Theroux has been promoting his new film, The Girl On The Train, and he has recently spoken out about Brad and Angelina Jolieโs divorce.
While many have attempted to bring Jennifer Aniston into the divorce, given the irony of the situation, Justin thinks that itโs irrelevant.
He told Business Insider on his recent press tour about his own experience with divorce.
โAs a child of divorce, all I can say is thatโs terrible news for those children and thatโs all you can really say.โ
โItโs boring to sort of comment on anything else,โ he added. โPeople are having a bad time. Thatโs horrible.โ
He also thought that thereโs no use bringing over people into it, defending Jen.
โThereโs an endless appetite for trash, apparently โ though everyone would say that they donโt have that appetite,โ he said. โBut I think a lot of people do because people buy it.
โBut there are bigger things to bitch about. Itโs shocking how much bandwidth things can take up when there are far more important things going on in the world.โ
Justin Theroux also opened up recently to Entertainment Tonight about the secret to his happy marriage.
โWe appreciate each otherโs sense of humour, we respect one another and we get along. I know it sounds simple but itโs true!โ

Last week Gigi Hadid made headlines after a video surfaced of her being grabbed from behind by a man as she left the Max Mara fashion show.
The video showed the supermodel caught off guard as the man grabbed her and picked her up, but as her security detail appeared to hesitate, Gigi took it upon herself to fight the man off.
While some dismissed the incident as merely a crazed fan, Gigi was understandably shaken by the incident, something no woman, famous or not, should ever have to face.
Now the 21-year-old has penned a powerful piece for Lena Dunhamโs newsletter Lenny, in which she describes what she felt during the attack, and why she knew she had to fight back.
โI played volleyball, and my coaches talked about muscle memory,โ she wrote.
โI started boxing two years ago and I always remembered that. Since then, I hadnโt been in a situation that forced me to fight back, but it just came out when he grabbed me โ it wasnโt a choice. I do have that fighter in me.โ
โI remember taking the time, as it all felt slo-mo, to look at him, a stranger, and my first reaction was: โGet me out of this situation.โ โ she explained. โHonestly, I felt I was in danger, and I had every right to react the way I did.โ
Initially some reports had described Gigi as an โangry supermodelโ who โoverreactedโ and โlashed outโ at a fan.
This infuriated the model, and she also addressed this in her essay.
โThe first article that was posted about the incident was headlined: โNot model behavior. Gigi aggressively lashes out and elbows fan in the face after he tries to pick her up. The supermodel angrily hit an unknown man before running to her car.โ โ she confessed. โThatโs when I really got pissed.โ
โFirst of all, it was a woman who wrote the story with that headline,โ she continued. โWhat would you tell your daughter to do? If my behavior isnโt model behavior, then what is? What would you have told your daughter to do in that situation?โ
Gigi wants all women and girls to know that they always have the right to fight back, famous or not, no one ever has the right to place their hands on you without your consent.
โIf anything, I want girls to see the video and know that they have the right to fight back, too, if put in a similar situation,โ she said. โPracticing self-defense is important so that when youโre in the moment, reacting from muscle memory comes more naturally to you than freezing up.โ
โConfidence in your own ability to defend yourself comes with educating yourself about it, and is a massive advantage when in an unsafe situation,โ she added.
โIt sounds clichรฉ to say it, but in the moment, it wasnโt heroic to me,โ she said. โIt was just what I had to do. Itโs very touching to me that people see it that way. I know people are put in much worse situations every day and donโt have the cameras around that provoke social-media support. I just want to use what happened to me to show that itโs everyoneโs right, and it can be empowering, to be able to defend yourself.โ

A search is underway for missing 16-year-old girl Cassie Olczac who went missing from Sydneyโs south just 24 hours after returning from an overseas holiday.
The teen, from Sylvania, was last seen on Sunday when boarded a train at Banksia just before 7pm. CCTV footage shows her getting on the train, but there is no evidence of her getting off.
She was expected to get off the train at Hurstville, but police are yet to determine if she ever arrived.
Cassie had returned to Australia from a trip to Abu Dhabi to visit her father just 24 hours earlier, and was believed to be jet lagged.
Her mother says her disappearance is completely out of character and is urging anyone with information to come forward.

โThe next day her sister drove her to her best friendโs house, they said she was fine โฆ as the day went on she was highly agitated and they told her to go home and get some sleep.
โThey last saw her at 6:58pm at Banksia station heading south. No CCTV confirms her getting off a train.โ
There have been unconfirmed reports of a citing of someone fitting Cassieโs description sleeping on the 5:37am train from Blacktown to Emu Plains with a pink blanket.
โPolice have conducted extensive inquiries to date to try to locate Cassie, but at this time have been unsuccessful,โ read a statement from NSW Police.
โCassie is described as being of caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall with a thin build and dark brown hair. She was last seen wearing a multicoloured shirt, grey tights and white and gold Adidas sneakers.โ
NSW Police said there are concerns for her welfare due to her young age and urge anyone with information to contact CrimeStoppers on 1800 333 000.

He was just 21 months old when he vanished โ and his face is as familiar in the UK, as William Tyrellโs is in Australia.
Ben Needham was a blonde, blue-eyed cherubic toddler when he went missing from Greece on July 24, 1991. His British-born mother, Kerry, had left him with her mother while she went to work. At about 2.30 in the afternoon, Benโs grandparents realised he was missing.
In the quarter of a century that has since passed, there have been hundreds of โsightingsโ of Ben and countless theories as to his fate. Some believed he had been kidnapped; others murdered or trafficked.

There have been endless police campaigns and appeals for information about Ben, who would now be 26 โ and in the UK, his face has become as famous as that other missing British toddler, Madeleine McCann
Yet this week there was news of a potential breakthrough.
A local Greek man approached police with claims this his friend, builder Konstantinos Barkas, may have accidentally killed Ben while clearing land with an excavator.
According to the BBC, Mr Barkas died of cancer last year. His widow and son have strongly denied the claims.
Police have begun a forensic dig in the area where Ben went missing , and expect the dig to take up to two weeks.

She thinks water has feelings
Taking to her blog to share her thoughts in a post entitled โThe Scary Power of Negative Wordsโ La Paltrow cited the work Japanese scientist Masaru Emoto whose experiments have โprovedโ that yelling at water can change itโs structure.
She knows how hard it is to find organic wine in Paris
When on interview asked her why she started Goop, the Mortdecai actress (oh yes, we have not forgotten that baby yet) explained: โWhen you go to Paris and your concierge sends you to some restaurant because they get a kickback, itโs like, โNo. Where should I really be? Where is the great bar with organic wine? Where do I get a bikini wax in Paris?โ Cโmon, weโve all been there.
Her kids speak more languages than you
Of her nanny, the mother-of-two has said: โSheโs French, so sheโs teaching them French, and their previous nanny was Spanish, so theyโre fluent in Spanish.โ All the better to swear withโฆ
She recommends vagina steaming
In between all the organic seaweed colonics and Dead Sea mud wraps, Goopโs guide to the best L.A. spas recommends a treatment we reckon you wonโt forget fast. โThe Mugworth V-Steam: You sit on what is essentially a mini-throne, and a combination of infrared and mugwort steam cleanses your uterus, et al. It is an energetic releaseโnot just a steam doucheโthat balances female hormone levels. If youโre in LA, you have to do it.โ RiiiiiightโฆYou do it first GP.

In another sartorial nod to her host country, the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in red for a reception at Government House.
After a rainy day spent visiting the Great Bear Rainforest, the royal couple were all dolled up for the lavish party where they met with leaders in British Columbiaโs legislature, government and judiciary as well as philanthropists, youth workers and veterans.
In what might be one of her most glamorous looks of all time, Kate dazzled in a red cocktail dress by British designer Preen, which featured an asymmetrical hemline, and midi-length skirt.
She teamed the look with a chic up-do, the silver Maple Leaf brooch she wore when touching down in Canada (on loan from Her Majesty The Queen), as well as her new favourite red heels and Miui Miu clutch.
The reception was hosted by Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia, The Honourable Judith Guichon, along with the Premier of British Columbia, The Honourable Christy Clark.
A reconciliation ceremony was due to take place at the event however a protest over the plight of the First Nationโs people meant this was snubbed by Grand Chief Stewart Phillip, leader of the Union of British Columbian Indian Chiefs, saying he meant no disrespect but felt it a โmatter of principleโ, reports The Mirror.
โWith the deepening poverty of our communities, remembering the missing and murdered Indigenous Women and Girls and the ongoing negligence of Indigenous Child Welfare policies across this country, in good conscience, I cannot participate in the Black Rod Ceremony,โ Chief Phillip said in a statement.

At first glance, Kim Kardashian West and Alanis Morrisette donโt appear to have much in common. One is a singer-turned-sage advice columnist known for her hit single โIronicโ and one is a reality TV star who doesnโt understand what irony is. But both have joined a growing number of celebrities โ and mere mortals โ posting pics of their naked, pregnant bodies online.
When I was pregnant with my first child, the very โ very โ last thing I wanted to do was display my nude self to the masses. Actually, to anyone. I felt massive. My boobs โ already a 12D โ were somewhere around the G mark by the second trimester (I asked the store assistant in the bra shop to stop looking after we hit a G cup. It was too depressing to go any further). My belly felt full to bursting. I was covered in stretch marks. I was lucky enough to have a relatively healthy pregnancy, but still: I was not about to share my pregnancy body with the world.
It seems Iโm among a minority here, because increasingly, women are posting naked (or near naked) pregnancy selfies online (mainly on Instagram). Alanis and Kim K have done it. Victoriaโs Secret model Behati Prinsloo did it. Bec Judd did it. Olivia Wilde and Chrissy Teigen have done it. Hilary Duff posed with her sister, Haylie, painting a Christmas gift on her revealed baby bump way back in 2011 (she posted it to Twitter, 2011 being the dark ages of Instagram).
I ask celebrity agent Sarah Linsten, of Linsten Morris, for her take on the phenomenon. โItโs a real change,โ she says, โbecause traditionally, celebrities wanted privacy and anonymity. It was church and state; you promoted the film but you didnโt promote your private life.โ
While tabloids were the first to exploit the blurred lines between celebritiesโ private and professional lives, social media has almost erased the line completely.
โNow,โ adds Linsten, who represents the likes of Naomi Watts, Jodi Anasta and Kestie Morassi, โcelebrities would rather tell their own stories than have someone else beat them to it.โ
She adds that our hunger for 24/7 news (which means stories must constantly be created, even if theyโre not necessarily true, well-researched or accurate), plus the often aggressive nature of paparazzi photographers means that now, more than ever, itโs important for celebrities to control the way theyโre perceived.
โIโd imagine that for many women, posting their own photos to their own accounts is a way of saying, โThis is happening to me. Iโm happy to share it with you, but it has to be on my terms.โโ
Itโs what Anne Hathaway did last year, when she caught a photographer snapping a pic of her while pregnant. She was yet to announce the pregnancy, so she quickly took her own pic and uploaded it to her Instagram account, taking back control of her narrative.
And while thereโs certainly nothing new about showing off your baby bump โ Demi Moore did it way back in 1991 on the cover of Vanity Fair โ there is something new about seeing the beauty in pregnant bodies.
Linsten reminds me that just 20 years ago, TV personality Nicky Buckley inadvertently caused a huge scandal when she continued to work as a co-host on Sale of the Century while pregnant. โItโs ridiculous to think that caused such a stir at the time, but it did,โ she says. โThe idea of even seeing a pregnant woman on TV โ people couldnโt handle it. Weโve come a long way since then, and these naked photos reflect that. These women are proud of what their bodies are doing, theyโre excited about this new phase of their life. Itโs a personal choice and itโs great that we have that choice now.โ
As for me, Iโm now pregnant with kid number two. At just twelve weeks, I can feel my double chin hitting my F cups (weโre not quite a G yetโฆ) as I walk. Sadly, Iโm not one of those pregnant women who feels radiant and glowing โ Iโm one of those pregnant women who canโt walk past a bakery without buying a chocolate chip cookie and a croissant and maybe just one more cookie to go. Iโm still proud of what my bodyโs doing, but I donโt feel the need to share it with the world. After all, come delivery time, more than enough people will see it โ whether I like it or not.

Gossip has been rife about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolieโs divorce since they announced the split last week, however it seems that media outlets arenโt the only ones writing about their divorce.
Several companies, including Norwegian Airlines, Ikea and more, have already responded with advertisements to promote their own products.
Independent spoke to Maria Vardy, managing director of marketing agency Jaywing, about how sensitive companies need to be during these times.
โThereโs a fine line in getting the approach and sentiment right, especially in the case of brand Brangelina,โ she said. โThe end of their relationship is also the end of a lot of the emotional development associated with them as a couple and as a family.โ
Here are just some of the companies offering their take on the divorce:

Cast your mind back to last Sunday morning, as you peeled yourself out of bed around midday, cursing the day you ever heard the word margarita and declaring that youโll never drink again.
Well, what if we told you you could have the margaritas, minus the hangover? Too good to be true, youโd say? Stop teasing us, youโd beg?
A British scientist claims to have invented a miracle booze which he calls โalcosynthโ and which he says gets you merry, but without the pesky hangover.
While itโs a little way off being available from your local bottlo, this is still a major breakthrough for all us mere mortals who dared to dream.
โIt will be there alongside the scotch and the gin, theyโll dispense the alcosynth into your cocktail and then youโll have the pleasure without damaging your liver and your heart,โ Dr. David Nutt, an Imperial College Professor, told The Independent.
โThey go very nicely into mojitos. They even go into something as clear as a Tom Collins. One is pretty tasteless and the other has a bitter taste,โ he added.
Professor Nutt previously courted controversy for a study he did which claimed that ecstasy and LSD were less harmful than alcohol and could be used in the treatment of depression and was relieved from his position as Britainโs chief drugs advisor in 2009.
While his latest finding is still being โrigorously testedโ, he says if successful, alcosynth could completely replace normal alcohol by 2050.
34 years and weโll be READY, but we guess itโs business as usual until thenโฆ

In a move that could be straight out of The Devil Wears Prada, American Vogue editors have published an article bemoaning the presence of fashion bloggers at Milan Fashion Week, labeling the โstreet style messโ โpatheticโ, โgrossโ and โheralding the death of style.โ
Sally Singer, Vogue creative digital director, started the conversation, describing the situation as โschizophrenic.โ
โNote to bloggers who change head-to-toe, paid-to-wear outfits every hour: Please stop. Find another business. You are heralding the death of style,โ she wrote.
Fashion blogger Chiara Ferragni
Sarah Mower, Vogue.com chief critic, chimed in: โthe professional blogger bitโฆ is horrible, but most of all, pathetic for these girls, when you watch how many times the desperate troll up and down outside shows, in traffic, risking accidents even, in hopes of being snapped.โ
Alessandra Codinha, Vogue.comโs Fashion News Editor, added: โrather than a celebration of any actual style, it seems to be all about turning up, looking ridiculous, posing, twitching in your seat as you check your social media feeds, fleeing, changing, repeatingโฆ Itโs all pretty embarrassingโeven more so when you consider what else is going on in the world.โ
Unsurprisingly, the blogosphere has hit back.
Bloggers BryanBoy and Susie Bubble (Credit: Getty )
BryanBoy, part of the first wave of fashion bloggers, took to Twitter (where he has over 580,000 followers) in response.
โItโs schoolyard bullying, plain and simple,โ he wrote. โHow satisfying it must be to go for the easy target rather than going for other editors.โ
Susie Bubble, another leader of the street-style set, weighed in too.
โFirstly letโs not pretend that editors and stylists are not beholden to brands in one way or another, getting salaries at publications that are stuffed full of credits that are tied to paid advertising but not explicitly stated as such,โ she said on Twitter.
โThe fashion establishment donโt want their circles enlarged,โ she continued. โAnd for the ivory tower to remain forever that. Towering and impenetrable.โ
โTop Aussie blogger Zanita Whittington says that the comments โultimately illustrate how little these editors understand of what it takes to be a successful fashion blogger.โ
Zanita Whittington (Credit: Getty)
โBloggers play a different role to these editors and I had hoped by now theyโd see it for what it is โ hard working entrepreneurs working in synergy with fashion brands. You donโt just wake up one day and become a successful influencer; I admire so many of my peers for what they have achieved. Each one has built a unique brand and what they do at fashion week is part of content creation and brand relationships for months ahead.โ
The Vogue.com team has yet to respond. But with Paris Fashion Week having just started, stay tuned for more drama!

Saudi Arabian women are banding together to sign a petition to change the countryโs male guardianship system, which currently prevents women from traveling abroad and working without the consent of a male guardian. Saudi Arabian women were also only recently given the legal right to vote in 2015.
BBC News reports that the movement is being led by activist Aziza Al-Yousef, who believes the campaign is for a great cause, but wants to see results.
โIn every aspect, the important issue is to treat a woman as a full citizen,โ she said.
The petition is mainly calling for women to be โtreated like an adultโ, being able to make their own decisions in areas such as working or studying without the permission of a male.
The movement started to gain traction after a Human Rights Watch report entitled โBoxed In: Women and Saudi Arabiaโs Male Guardianship Systemโ was released to tackle the issue. Human Rights Watch also released a series of videos calling for change on the basis of key human rights that were being denied from women.
The report started a hashtag calling for change on Twitter, which translated in English to โSaudi Women Want To Abolish The Guardianship Systemโ. This was met with a counter hashtag, which said โThe Guardianship Is For Her Not Against Herโ.
Human Rights Watch researcher Kristine Beckerle was pleased with the large reaction to the report, with citizens even bombarding the Saudi Kingโs office with over 2500 telegrams calling for change. She told BBC News that it was โincredible and unprecedentedโ.
โI was flabbergasted โ not only by the scale, but the creativity with which theyโve been doing it,โ she said. โTheyโve made undeniably clear they wonโt stand to be treated as second-class citizens any longer, and itโs high time their government listened.โ
Although there has been no official response yet from the government on this issue, the petition (which is only getting larger) has created some much-needed noise on this topic.

A new documentary airing on the ABC tonight has shed light on just how police tracked down Jill Meagherโs killer in the space of just six days in 2012.
A series of high-tech phone tracking allowed detectives to eliminate Jillโs husband Tom from the suspect list (her phone was tracked along Tullamarine Freeway, whereas his stayed stationary in Brunswick).
The policeโs gaze instantly turned to an unidentified man seen interacting with Jill in CCTV footage on Sydney Road. The man was identified as Adrian Bayley, a notorious sex offender who, at the time of Jillโs attack, was on parole, having served out a sentence for raping five prostitutes over a six-month period.
With police tracking Bayley and Jillโs phones, they noticed the pair travelling on an identical path: along the Tullamarine freeway, into Gisborne โ where Jillโs body would later be found โ with Bayleyโs phone then making the return journey. Jillโs did not.
But the one piece of evidence that tipped police off to Bayleyโs involvement had nothing to do with the phone tracking, the ABC reports.
It was the fact that he passed through a toll point on Moreland road at exactly the same time that Jillโs phone also made the journey. He paid for the toll, and CCTV captured his car moving through the checkpoint at 4.40 in the morning.
In the documentary, police detectives reveal that it was this crucial piece of information that led them to Bayleyโs door.

While it rained on day three of the Canadian Royal Tour, The Duchess of Cambridge came prepared for the wet weather and looked unsurprisingly chic in a casual off-duty ensemble.
Dressed in her staple skinny jeans and a stone coloured Holland & Holland jacket for a visit to the Great Bear Rainforest in Bella Bella, it was her boots that had everyone talking.
Kate was wearing the same pair of boots she was spotted wearing way back when she was still a Middleton in 2004 โ thatโs 12 years ago. The boots by Penelope Chilvers, no doubt a quality investment, and another reason why we love Kate and her ability to recycle her wardrobe.
If ever there was an argument for investing in good quality pieces, this is it.
Inside the event Kate wore a blue sweater over a white-and-blue plaid collared shirt and payed homage to Canada by donning Canadian designer Pippa Smalls earrings.
Kate and Wills decided to do the aerial tour of Bella Bella as a couple and once again left Prince George and Princess Charlotte at home.
Upon arriving they were met by the historic First Nations owners of the community and honored by the Heiltsuk people.

While you might not be super familiar with the names Alberto Mugrabi And Colby Jordan, the guest list at their wedding reads like a Hollywood VIP party.
The couple, both heirโs to billion-dollar fortunes, invited 600 of their earest and dearest to the iconic Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France to witness them say โI doโ and party into the night.
The Daily Mail reports that the wedding reportedly cost a cool $US5 million โ with the couple putting up their guests in rooms at the luxury hotel โ and that aisle alone would have cost more than some weddings in total.
Said celebrity guests included supermodels Karlie Kloss and Heidi Klum, Owen Wilson โ who also served as a groomsman โ Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Princess Beatrice, Sienna Miller, Derek Blasberg and Aussie model Jessica Hart.

Miranda Kerr has kept a relatively low profile so far this fashion month, but she was back out on the runway in Milan overnight and flashing that megawatt smile.
Walking for La Koradior, the 33-year-old dazzled in a shimmering full length gown with plunging neckline and pleated skirt.
The look was finished off with a dazzling choker necklace.
Following her turn on the runway, the model then took a place in the front row to watch the rest of the show.
Arriving ahead of the show, Miranda made quite the stir, arriving in a dramatic burgundy gown, complete with plunging neckline and thigh-high split โ which she topped off with hoop earrings and a bold lip.
Following her appearance in Milan, Miranda is expected to hop on over to Paris after Milan wraps, posting a photo on Instagram, she said she was looking forward to being back in the city of love for fashion week.

After eleven years and two children, Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber have announced their split.
โOver the past few months weโve come to the conclusion that the best way forward for us as a family is to separate as a couple,โ they said in a statement released to ET.
โIt is with great love, respect, and friendship in our hearts that we look forward to raising our children together and exploring this new phase of our relationship.โ
โWhile we appreciate your curiosity and support, we ask the press to be mindful of our children and respect their right to privacy.โ
Naomi, 47, and Liev, 47, have been together since 2005, they never married but they welcomed two sons, Alexander, nine, and Samuel, seven.
The Aussie actress opened up to Los Angeles Confidential back in February about struggles in relationships.
โRelationships are hard whether youโre famous or not. I donโt know anyone who doesnโt have to work on it,โ she admitted.
โBeing an actor doesnโt change anything.โ
The couple have starred in three films together, including 2008โs The Painted Veil, 2013โs Movie 43, and The Bleeder which is due for release later this year.

Tiahleigh Palmerโs foster brother has reportedly been targeted in prison by other inmates.
Trent Thorburn, who is 19 years old, is being held in jail on charges of incest, perjury and perverting the course of justice following the murder of his 12-year-old foster sister.
The Courier Mail reports that Thorburn has been bashed in two separate incidents over the past few days, after prisoners encouraged each other to target him. The incidents resulted in minor injuries.
Thorburn was recently denied bail at Beenleigh Magistrates Court last week. It was alleged that he had incestuous sex with his foster sister and that he feared she was pregnant before her murder last year.
Tiahleighโs foster father Rick Thorburn has been charged with murder and will face court in December. He has recently woken up from an induced coma and has been imprisoned.
Tiahleigh lived with the family for 10 months before her murder, and her body was found a week after she went missing, on November 6.

After two Sex And The City movies, the real question weโre all asking is when are Carrie Bradshaw and her mates returning to TV?!
Fortunately, Sarah Jessica Parker has recently given us all hope with an interview that suggests Sex And The City could be hitting the small screen again โ much, much sooner than we thought.
She spoke to Press Association about the possibility of getting the gang back together for a reunion โ and revealed that the cast is in discussions.
โI donโt think any of us have said no,โ Parker said of her co-stars. โI donโt know whether itโs a series or the movie. I think that remains an open question and discussion that will continue until itโs been resolved.โ
โI think thatโs always a possibility, definitely.โ
Sarah Jessica Parker is currently promoting her new HBO show Divorce which follows quite a different storyline altogether โ sheโs a middle-aged character going through a difficult divorce. She has said itโs not a situation that she particularly relates to as sheโs been married to husband Matthew Broderick for 19 years. She told People earlier this year about her role.
โItโs not so much Iโve been in her position, but I understand somebody who wants to find fulfilment, they need to rescue themselves and their lives,โ she said. โAlso being a mother whoโs concerned with making the right choices for her own children and handling something thatโs potentially so painful, how does one โ how do you talk about it in a way thatโs not patronizing but is careful. That mattered a lot to me in how we talked about it.โ
We can only hope that her return to TV means a Sex And The City reunion very soon! The news has got us likeโฆ

A grandfather who sexually abused two generations of his family over the course of 30 years has been given a short jail sentence due to his poor health.
The Sydney Morning Heraldreports that he confessed in court that he had molested his daughter in the late 60s and two of his granddaughters in mid 1980s and in 2000. The abuse started when the girls were around five years old and continued over an extended period of time.
The crimes were taken to police in 2013 after the mother and her daughters had discussed the matter. The now 78-year-old man confessed to molesting all three women in the past in Wollongong District Court on Friday.
The judge, Andrew Haesler sentenced the man to three and a half years jail time, with a non-parole period of 12 months โ he did not believe the man posed a threat to community safety. The man suffers from heart disease, hypertension, hyperthyroidism and osteoporosis.
โItโs not at all impossible that any term of imprisonment he would not survive,โ Judge Haesler said.
โHowever, courts must harden their hearts at times.
โPeople who commit serious offences against their own children and grandchildren canโt expect to escape punishment because of their ill-health or age.
โHowever, his illness calls for a degree of leniency on humanitarian grounds โฆ I will impose a significantly more lenient sentence than one that would ordinarily have been imposed.โ

Canadians, consider yourself warned. No selfies, no hats after 6.30p.m. and no calling the Duchess of Cambridge โKateโ, according to the etiquette guidelines that the Department of Canadian Heritage has issued on the eve of KateโnโWillsโ Canuck adventure.
So, just what is allowed and what is verboten when youโre hanging out with the Cambridges?
You donโt have to curtsy if you donโt want to.
Well, thatโs easy. According to the guide, โIt is up to those meeting The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh and other Members of the Royal Family to choose whether or not they wish to bow/curtsey or simply shake hands.โ
Hats are a no-no at night
When it gets dark out, ditch the fascinator. โThere is no requirement for hats to be worn, though it is entirely acceptable to do so. Hats are not normally worn at functions after 6:30 p.m.โ
Donโt go offering Kate a cocktail
When it comes to choosing a tipple for official toasts at functions, no Cosmos or martinis or any cocktails at all should be on the menu. The rules state that โAny type of drink can be used for a toast, except for cocktails, while wine and water are preferred.โ
No selfies. Nada. None. Niente
Basically, Kate hasnโt flown across the Atlantic so she can pop up in your Instagram feed and time is of the essence during this trip. All of which means, Canadians will have to leave their selfie stick at home and just settle for a good old fashioned blurry shot of a celebrity from a distance. โTo ensure the Duke and Duchess have the opportunity to meet with as many Canadians as possible, it is not possible to take selfies with them.โ
Titles, please!
Donโt go calling the Duke and Duchess by their first names, the guide suggests. At first, they should be addressed as โYour Royal Highnessโ initially and then โSirโ or โMadamโ. You know, just like you do with your mates.

Itโs been nearly six years since Phoebe Handsjuk died โ and her family is anything but at peace over the circumstances surrounding her death.
Phoebe was just 24 when her body was discovered in the refuse room of a luxury Melbourne apartment after falling 11 floors down the garbage chute.
While police initially believed she had taken her own life, and failed to collect CCTV footage from the building and analyse blood found in the apartment where she lived with her boyfriend, Phoebeโs family believe foul play was involved in her death.
โIt is the truth we are missing here,โ Phoebeโs mother Natalie Handsjuk tells Marie Claire. โI feel absolutely sure she didnโt put herself down that chute, either accidentally or on purpose.โ
Phoebe with her mum, Natalie
Handsjuk was found in the basement of the luxury Balancea building on St Kilda Road on December 2, 2010.
She had fallen up to 40m down the rubbish chute and severed her foot. It later emerged that she bled to death as a result of the injury.
Her death was ruled as an accident by the coroner. However, Phoebeโs mother, Natalie, and her grandfather Lorne Campbell, a retired detective, conducted their own investigation into her death.
Lorne believes there is โno wayโ Phoebe could have climbed inside the chute of her own accord. The toxicology report showed she had a blood alcohol level of 0.16 and had consumed the prescription sedative Stilnox. To determine whether Phoebe could have climbed into the chute unassisted, he attached safety harnesses to two of her friends and tested them on a replica. They were sober and athletic but could only climb in with great difficulty, and only after using their hands around the spring-loaded hatch.
โRight from the start, I believed she had been murdered,โ Lorne tells marie claire.
Read Marie Claireโs November issue, on sale October 6, for a full report on the mystery surrounding Phoebe Handsjukโs death.

In the lead up to the first presidential debate airing Monday in the US, Hillary Clinton has released an ad demonstrating the effect that Donald Trump would have on young girls if he were elected president.
Titled โMirrorsโ, she shows young teenage girls in front of their reflection while some of Donald Trumpโs infamous quotes about women are played over the top.
Just some of his charming statements includedโฆ
โIโd look her right in that fat, ugly face of hersโฆโ
โSheโs a slobโฆshe ate like a pigโฆโ
โA person who is flat-chested is very hard to be a โ10โฒโ
โDid she have a good body? No. Did she have a fat ****? Absolutely.โ
At the end of the video, she asks, โIs this the president you want for your daughters?โ
The ad has already received a large reaction (both positive and negative) online, with over 13 million views on Facebook alone.
In more news to Trump that times they are a-changinโ, Hillary Clinton recently waved to this audience who appear to be looking the wrong way for a very modern reasonโฆ
The first presidential debate will air at 11am, 27 September (AEST). You can watch it on ABC News 24, BBC World, Sky News, Fox News and Al Jazeera, plus Facebook and Twitter will be live streaming it.

Women in Iran have been banned by the countryโs Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, from riding bikes in public places. โRiding a bicycle often attracts the attention of men and exposes the society to corruption, and thus contravenes womenโs chastity, and it must be abandoned,โ he told state media, reports the New York Times.
Rebelling against the fatwa, Iranian women are bravely sharing photos of themselves riding bikes on social media using the hashtag #IranianWomenLoveCycling, clocking thousands of views.
โThere is no law, or there is no penalty for those women who ride a bicycle in public space in Iran but the gender ideology of Islamic Republic of Iran has always been radicalโฆ they are scared of our presence in society,โ says Masih Alinejad, an Iranian journalist living in exile in Brooklyn, facilitator of the activist Facebook group My Stealthy Freedom and the brains behind the campaign.
โThey donโt want us to sing solo, they donโt want us to ride a bike, they donโt want us to show our hairโฆ This is the twenty-first century, and it is shameful that Iranian women want to be more active in society but the religious figures and leaders in society in Iran want to push women behind the curtain and stay in the kitchen,โ she explains in an Instagram video.
https://www.instagram.com/p/BKvyVOFghPK/
In another video on social media, an Iranian woman says while cycling, โNo-one protested against us today because men were biking with us. Here they say when you have a man as your company, you are protected.
โBut when I got a bit further than the men in the group I heard people saying nasty things about me biking.
โI will be proud that I did resist the oppression as I believe those who oppress us are wrong. Biking for women is not a taboo and no-one can tell me it is.โ

California Governor Jerry Brown has just signed a law requiring entertainment websites, including IMDb, to remove โ or not post in the first place โ an actorโs age or birthday upon request.
Age has long been a hot-button topic in Hollywood, and it comes as no surprise that the actorโs union, the Screen Actors GuildโAmerican Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA), has long lobbied for the legislation on the grounds that โit is time to stop the ageism that permeates Hollywoodโs casting processโ.
The law, which comes into effective from January 1, 2017, targets websites that allow paid subscribers to post CVs, headshots or other information for prospective employers.
(Credit: Nelly has been accusses of hiding his age. Photograph by Getty Images)
The digital community is up in arms, claiming the law was a violation of free speech. โWe are disappointed [the bill] was signed into law,โ Noah Theran, the Internet Associationโs spokesperson, told The Hollywood Reporter. โWe remain concerned with the bill and the precedent it will set of suppressing factual information on the internet.โ
Internet Association president Michael Beckerman added: โThis is not a question of preventing salacious rumours; rather it is about the right to present basic facts that live in the public domain. Displaying such information isnโt a form of discrimination, and internet companies should not be punished for how people use public data.โ
But Majority Leader of the California State Assembly Ian Calderon maintained the law is not aimed at protecting Tinseltownโs elite. โWhile age information for Hollywoodโs biggest stars is readily available from other online sources, this bill is aimed at protecting lesser known actors and actresses competing for smaller roles,โ he said. โThese actors should not be excluded from auditioning simply based on their age.โ

An unknown Perth girl by the name of Rebecca Twigley made her Brownlow debut in 2004 in a show-stopping, slashed-to-the-navel number by WA designer Ruth Tarvydas. Her boyfriend, bright young talent Chris Judd, may have won the prestigious medal that night, but it was Twigley who stole the headlines. And a star was born.

A rape victim has revealed in a powerful interview that she has never felt stronger than the moment she put her attacker in jail on Friday.
The Sydney Morning Heraldreports that the man, Thomas Hofer, had used Flatmates.com.au to arrange a meet-up with the 19-year-old woman in regards to a room for rent that he had advertised. They went to dinner then drinks together, then went back to his house and though the young woman had told him she didnโt want to have sex, he flipped her on her stomach and raped her.
However, on Friday, he was sentenced to six and a half years in jail, and the victim spoke to Fairfax Media about how it felt to stand up to her attacker.
โI felt stronger than I ever had in my life to be honest,โ she said. โNobody asks to be raped. If itโs happened, itโs wrong and you need to stand up for yourself.
โMen that are like that donโt stop, you wonโt be the last one. Itโs really important that we stand up and fight these predators.โ
In the case of Thomas Hofer, within 24 hours of the incident, he had raped another victim โ a tourist from the US.
โThe way he planned it โฆ he did it twice and he told me he was meeting another girl the next night. It would have been three.
โI feel real sorry for him because he has evil in his eyes, there is no empathy. He thought he did nothing wrong. You canโt do that kind of stuff and get away with it. It doesnโt make you powerful, it makes you weak.โ
In fact, she also mentioned that when power has been taken away from you in such a humiliating way, sometimes all you can do is fight back to regain the feeling of control.
โ[Going to court] put me in back in control,โ she said. โI took control of the situation and I made him see that it was wrong. He canโt get away with doing that to people.
โIt takes something from you, you are powerless, so you need to start working out ways and regain that control that you lost,โ she said. โI really think the best way to do that it is to stand up and fight.โ
She hopes that her story will encourage others to โtrust their instinctsโ when it comes to these situations, saying, โif you feel like something is wrong, then it probably is.โ
Hofer has been sentenced to six and a half years in jail, and will be eligible for parole in 2021.

So while we all know that money canโt buy happiness and the best things in life are free etc etc, thereโs no denying we live in an age where the cost of living is on the up (and up and upโฆ) so itโs little wonder that money does have to come in to play at some point.
According to Angus Deaton, who won the Nobel Prize in 2015 for his work in poverty and development, says that there is such a thing as a โhappiness plateauโ in relation to your annual salary.
According to a study with psychologist Daniel Kahneman, Deaton found that โeveryday contentmentโ increases up to US$75,000 (AU$98,464) but then levels off after that.
โPerhaps $75,000 is a threshold beyond which further increases in income no longer improve individualsโ ability to do what matters most to their emotional well-being, such as spending time with people they like, avoiding pain and disease, and enjoying leisure,โ they found.
The study analysed 450,000 responses from a daily survey of 1000 US residents conducted by the Gallup Organisation and they concluded that happiness could be broken down into two categories:
Everyday contentment, or โthe frequency and intensity of experiences of joy, stress, sadness, anger, and affection that make oneโs life pleasant or unpleasantโ
Life assessment, or โthe thoughts that people have about their life when they think about itโ.
While the โEveryday contentmentโ category plateaus, โLife assessmentโ continues to grow with salary.
โGiving people more income beyond 75K is not going to do much for their daily mood โฆ but it is going to make them feel they have a better life,โ Deaton told the Associated Press.
โAs an economist I tend to think money is good for you, and am pleased to find some evidence for that.โ

Chances are, youโve read at least one of these books โ and chances are, itโs changed your lifeโฆ Although itโs no secret that a lack of female representation exists in literature, these 11 books have each worked to shape the lives of women the world over, and some of them have even sparked feminist revolutionsโฆ
1. A Vindication of the Rights of Woman by Mary Wollstonecraft
Known as one of the first true advocates for womenโs rights and feminism, Mary Wollstonecraft was an English writer and philosopher who wrote A Vindication of the Rights of Woman. She would also later give birth to one of the most prominent female writers in history, Mary Shelley, which tragically lead to her untimely death.
Thought of as one of the earliest works of feminist philosophy, A Vindication of the Rights of Woman contended that the treatment of women by society ought to reflect their importance, as we were more than โmere wivesโ. This push for women to have the same fundamental human rights as men was considered revolutionary for its historical context, as many of the things Wollstonecraft was pushing for have still not come to fruition the world over.

2. The Womenโs Room by Marilyn French
This feminist fiction novel firmly cemented its author, Marilyn French, as a major voice for the feminist movement upon its publication in 1977. Set in 1950s America, the novel follows the life of Mira Ward from her traditional, unhappy married life as a submissive housewife to her feminist awakening. Upon its release, The Womenโs Room was criticised by some as being โtoo anti-menโ, a criticism French has noted only furthers her cause.

3. The Feminine Mystique by Betty Friedan
The very book that sparked second-wave feminism, Betty Friedanโs The Feminine Mystique addresses โthe problem that has no nameโ โ being the widespread unhappiness of the 1950s housewife.
Up until her death in 2006, Friedan acted as a voice for womenโs rights in the United States, and was elected as the first president of the National Organisation for Women in 1966. The Feminine Mystique has long been described as having had an everlasting influence on the feminist movement, owing to its focus on equal opportunity for men and women.

4. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
Austen famously painted the picture of class and gender in 19th century England through her (satirical) exploration of issues concerning marriage and morality in her classic novel Pride and Prejudice. Selling over 20 million copies worldwide, Austen holds a special place in the hearts of many, and continues to fascinate readers long beyond her time.

5. A Room of Oneโs Own by Virginia Woolf
This extended essay, first published in 1929, uses a fictitious narrative to explore the notion that โa woman must have money and a roof of her own if she is to write fiction. Woolf, whose writings have been said to embody feminist and lesbian themes, left behind a legacy as one of the foremost modern thinkers of the 20th century.

6. The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath
American poet Sylvia Plathโs only novel The Bell Jar explores the protagonistโs deep descent into mental illness, mirroring the authorโs own experiences and exploring something considered taboo for women to address at the time of its publication.
Plath would go on to commit suicide just one month after the books publication, and although she may have never self-identified as a feminist, many in the movement saw her work as a symbol for the plight of women.

7. The Second Sex by Simone de Beauvoir
Simone de Beauvoirโs powerful, groundbreaking analysis of gender inequality in The Second Sex opened the eyes of many women and men to the mistreatment of women throughout history. Much like The Womenโs Room, this 1949 book, originally published in French, has been credited as the starting point for second-wave feminism.

8. I Know Why Caged Birds Sing by Maya Angelou
The legacy of Dr. Maya Angelou is one that spans over 50 years; a strong feminist voice for the civil rights movement. The coming-of-age story told in I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings illustrated how strength of character can endure in the face of racism and trauma, acting as a powerful narrative for women of colour.

9. The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd
Set in 1964, this coming-of-age story opened the eyes of many women to the importance of having strong, lasting female friendships. Receiving critical acclaim, making it to the New York Times bestseller list and even getting the Hollywood treatment in a film adaptation of the same name, The Secret Life of Bees took readers on a journey of self-acceptance and freedom.

10. Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
Many women, both when the novel was first published in the 1860s, up until today, have struggled to relate to many of the female characters in literature. Little Women, however, has long found resonance with its female readers, owing to its strong, independent characters and focus on breaking away from gender constraints.

11. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontรซ
In their writings, the Brontรซ sisters were no strangers to exploring feminist ideas of sexuality and independenceโฆbut itโs Charlotteโs Jane Eyre that has had the most profound impact on the lives of women since its publication in 1847. Through the eyes of Jane women all over the world were taught that anyone can overcome their unfortunate circumstances to achieve greatnessโฆa lesson worth learning.
