And now according to the Daily Star, Harry and Meghan are referred to by names inspired by their royal title, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex – so DS.
A royal source told the publication that it is “far too risky” to refer to their real names, and so instead claims that Harry and Megs are known as ‘David Stevens’ and ‘Davina Scott’ by their bodyguards.
“If anyone got hold of a phone belonging to a royal aide or security team member, they won’t find Harry Windsor and Meghan’s names in it,” added the source.
According to The Sun, the names were accidentally revealed during a recent event attended by Prince Harry when the royal got an unexpected call put through to him.
But Harry and Meghan aren’t the only ones who use code names, we’re sure the whole royal family do, but it’s also been revealed that Prince William and Kate Middleton also reportedly go by the pseudonyms Danny Collins and Daphne Clark.
But don’t bother trying to look up these names and track them all down, as “they are changed regularly for obvious reasons,” adds the source.

Ariana Grande has reacted to the sudden death of her former boyfriend of two years, Mac Miller, 26. Just over a week after the rapper was found in his L.A. home after suffering from a reported overdose, the breathin singer broke her silence with an open letter shared via Instagram.
“I adored you from the day I met you when I was nineteen and I always will. i can’t believe you aren’t here anymore. I really can’t wrap my head around it. we talked about this. so many times. I’m so mad, I’m so sad I don’t know what to do. you were my dearest friend. for so long. above anything else. I’m so sorry I couldn’t fix or take your pain away. The ‘vampire facial’, made famous after Kardashian West posted a gruesome picture of herself undergoing the treatment, her face covered in blood, is alleged by the clinics who offer it to promote anti-ageing.
The actual treatment involves blood being drawn from the client and then the clinic drawing out the platelet-rich plasma from the blood and injecting it back into the client’s face using micro needles. Which, when you think about it, is a process that can leave customers very exposed should strict hygiene practices not be followed.
Even in a sterile medical environment, anything involving needles and blood requires strict protocols, which are unlikely to be employed at a non-medical beauty spa.
KRQE reports New Mexico Department of Health officials undertook an inspection of the VIP Spa after “a client of the VIP Spa developed an infection that may have resulted from a procedure performed at the spa.” Officials discovered “practices at the spa [that] could spread blood borne infections such as HIV and hepatitis B and C.”
According to KRQEthe spa in question is currently closed with a note being posted on Monday claiming “a family emergency has forced them to cancel appointments through the week.”

Before Sex and the City there was CBS comedy Designing Women, a TV show about four strong women running a successful interior design firm, Sugarbaker and Associates, in Atlanta, Georgia. And it’s getting a reboot.
Most die-hard fans of Sex and the City’s New York-based fictional fab four, Carrie, Charlotte, Samantha and Miranda, who filled our screens and fuelled our feminist dreams in the late ‘90s, early 2000s are probably unaware that there was actually an earlier, original fab femme four who trail-blazed the genre on late ‘80s, early ‘90s sitcom Designing Women.
The show debuted in 1986 and ran for seven highly successful seasons becoming a huge hit not only because of the fast-paced witty dialogue, strong female leads and on point storylines which covered subjects like women’s rights and domestic abuse, but also because of the fashion and beauty. Which as any Sex and the City fan will attest is one of the reasons that show was such a must-watch.
But, keep in mind, if you do go back and watch a couple of episodes of the original Designing Women series ahead of the reboot, the fashion strongly reflects the period it was set, the ‘80s and ‘90s.
As for the new series, The Hollywood Reporter reports ABC has “handed out a script commitment to what is being billed as a ‘sequel’ to the CBS comedy from original series creator Linda Bloodworth Thomason and [her husband] executive producer Harry Thomason.”
Designing Women 2.0 will follow the original format as a multi-camera comedy and will, per The Hollywood Reporter, “follow the next generation of Sugarbakers with a crop of new, young, female designers at [the] Atlanta interior design firm. The new take will still have the same razor-sharp dialogue and ability to cut through the political, cultural and social factions.”
The script will be written by Bloodworth Thomason who will also executive produce the show alongside her husband.

“I feel 100% when I have been eating well and mediating. That’s when I feel my happiest and most present.”
Which beauty products do you carry in your cutch on race day?
“Face powder to keep oily skin at bay. A lipstick and a travel size perfume. My go-to fragrances are fresh scents by Burberry or Gucci.”
What are your favourite skincare treatments right now?
“I’m really into exfoliation. I use one byBeauty Pacifique for a really deep clean once a month. I also use a vitamin c serum and a hydrating moisturiser.
“I’m lucky in that I’ve never had skin problems. I went through periods when I had breakouts but I think that was because of the type of make-up I was wearing. With the expectation of when I’m working – I just useJ-Bronze Flawless Face Tanfor my day-to-day beauty regimen.
How do you find balance with such a busy schedule?
“I make sure I have time to look after myself between work commitments. Making withthe hubby– I just structure my diary to suit my lifestyle.”
What’s next for you?
“J Bronze has two new products coming out and our tequila brand Session is launching in America. We’ve been to Mexico recently where our distillery is and Jake is so busy with J Group – that’s his business. They just won a master builder award and I’m so proud of him.
“It’s so nice to have him do his thing and to be a partner and go home and make get to have dinner ready. I’m really into cooking at the moment and I never use to be – my signature dishes are stir-frys and tacos.”

A 30-year-old woman has died during an emergency caesarian after suffering a heart attack and going into cardiac arrest.
Vanessa Fernandez Arango, who shared her fertility battles and journey to falling pregnant on Instagram, finally fell pregnant via IVF.
“The beginning of the end, the beginning of feeling alive, the end of suffering,” she shared on her page when she finally fell pregnant after suffering from two ectopic pregnancies and losing both her fallopian tubes, reports The Mirror.
When Arango was 38 weeks pregnant however the mum-to-be started to feel ill and fainted before being rushed to hospital reports Spanish news outlet El Mundo.
Doctors performed an emergency caesarian but Arango died after suffering from cardiac arrest.
The couple welcomed a baby boy named Alvaro, who was in intensive care but has now been able to go home.
Husband Jonathan Garcia shared the tragic news on her Instagram and Twitter accounts.
“This is Vanessa’s husband,” he wrote on Twitter.
“They have carried out an emergency Cesarean. The baby is in intensive care. Vanessa has died. You will understand that this account will now close. Thank you all for making her laugh,” he wrote.
“Here you have our first family photo, the fourth member of the family that watches from the sky and helps us get up at 3 is missing,” he captioned a photo with his baby in his arms and their family dog by his side that has been translated.
“It is very hard this, diapers, milk powder, lullabies, crying …. and esque when the child cries, poor Nala makes me cry, and I follow her with the doubt of what to do and the pain of lost.”
The grieving husband went on to thank hospital staff for saving his son’s life, as well as the IVF clinic where the couple fell pregnant, for the “little miracle I have in my arms”.
“Even though his mother is not here, I know she would be just as grateful.”

Former Spice Girl-turned-fashion-designer Victoria Beckham made a triumphant return to her hometown, celebrating ten years of her eponymous fashion label by making her debut at London Fashion Week on Sunday.
The 44-year-old designer showed her Spring/Summer 2019 collection at Thaddaeus Ropac gallery on Dover Street in London, marking the first time Beckham has shown her label on home turf since launching the brand back in April 2008.
And what a homecoming it was! All eyes were turned towards the front row where Beckham’s family including her soccer god husband David, 19-year-old son Brooklyn, 16-year-old son Romeo, 13-year-old son Cruz and seven-year-old daughter Harper, were seated, proudly watching the runway show unfold.
Indeed, David Beckham shared the cutest family pic of their kids at the show on Instagram, capturing his daughter Harper looking like a fashionista-in-the-making thanks to her chic black and white outfit paired with gold floral headpiece.
The soccer star also shared a charming video on the same post of his wife making a sweet detour on her post-show walk past her family giving each of her kids a kiss.
As for the show itself, the designer scored a major catwalk coup thanks to iconic British model Stella Tennant agreeing to walk in the show, with the 44-year-old telling WWD, “Stella is someone that I have respected for such a long time. She is everything a woman should be and has had the most incredible career. For me to have the opportunity to open with Stella…I hope that was a surprise for you all.”
Beckham told WWD her Spring/Summer 2019 collection was “about celebrating women, and not just the Victoria Beckham woman, but all women. It’s what my customer wants to see.”

Last week it was reported that Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber had tied the knot in a civil ceremony at a courthouse in New York City. While multiple sources confirmed the news it seems that might not be the case after all with Hailey Baldwin posting a cryptic tweet in response to the rumours…

Cassandra Thorburn has taken to Instagram to hit back after vicious online trolls after they criticised her for her appearance.
In an Instagram post from last week, the journalist and author – who split from husband Karl Stefanovic in 2016 – revealed she had been targeted for ‘looking her age.’
“Online trolls ‘she looks her age not stunning’. Is that supposed to be offensive? Is there something wrong with looking your age?” she wrote alongside a photo at the Women of the Future Awards in Sydney on September 5.
“Did I miss the memo that you should not embrace your age, your body, your face, your intelligence”. I am happy in my skin, with who I am and my age which means I’ve lived long enough to have learned and experienced so much.
She finished with: “Is it meant to mean if you look your age you are not good enough. Well sorry because I disagree. I am, you are, we are!”

According to Pedestrian, the now-deleted Instagram story said: “Is now the right time to tell you that I was dating Brooke during the exact moment she decided to turn full lesbian? I literally have no hope with women. Just for the record she is a dope chick and a really good human. But guys, you have not felt pain and confusion until a girl leaves you for a girl.”
Brooke previously opened up about dating the Bachie-alum in August in an interview with Woman’s Day.
“We used to see each other but it didn’t really work out,” she said. “I don’t like to judge, but I got an eerie feeling from him.”
Many took offence to Colman’s use of the words “full lesbian”, especially after Brooke had explicitly said she did not identify as lesbian and did not want to be labelled.
Colman then took to Instagram again to clear up his comments, posting another Instagram story.
“At the point in time when me and her were dating, she decided to turn gay, at that point in time she obviously was figuring things out as any woman or man should at that age,” he wrote.
“However many years later she actually started dating another guy so therefore there is no need for everyone to focus on ‘what sexuality she is’, in our society in the present day it’s a joke when everyone is trying to pinpoint someone’s sexuality like Brooke’s.
“She is bi, everyone should get over it,” he continued.
Well for the record Blake, Brooke specifically said she’s not bi so you just put a label on her.

Roxy Jacenko and husband Oliver Curtis have reportedly splashed out $6.5 million on a new family home in Sydney’s Vaucluse.
The couple, who are parents to children Pixie, 6 and Hunter, 4, snapped up the house with the winning bid at auction last night, where it had been expected to sell for $6 million.
The house is relatively new at only 10 years old, boasts sweeping views across the harbour, six bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, a swimming pool, media and games room and steam room.

Since Paul Andrew took the reins at Ferragamo last October, one word has defined his design direction: progress. In February, he staged a combined menswear and womenswear show in Milan – a first for the luxury house – and now presents this chic co-ed campaign, shot by Harley Weir.
Set in the cypress-lined Italian countryside, it stars a diverse cast of characters: Stella Tennant, Shanelle Nyasiase, Rianne Van Rompaey, Xiao Wen Ju, Piero Mendez and Edoardo Sebastianelli. It was a deliberate decision, says Andrew, to “reflect the glorious multiplicity” of 2018. Imagine a debaucherous weekend away at a manor house, with guests hailing from every corner of the globe. The “Ferragaristrocracy” dress with style, spirit and an air of nonchalance – think high fashion, but never haughty.

“One of the original inspirations of the collection featured in this campaign was the Duchess of Devonshire – a formidable personification of old-school elegance and privilege. And her granddaughter [featured model] Stella inhabits that refreshed persona with an effortless grace,” says Andrew. “But in 2018 you don’t have to be to-the-manor-born to have a compelling and stylish manner about you. Curiosity, taste and a breadth of vision – not a narrowness – is what counts today.”

Rich colour and easy silhouettes define the range, which – in an ode to the house’s heritage – is built around shoes. Notably, Andrew began his career at Ferragamo as the design director of footwear, and this season he serves up mirror-heeled loafers, buttery soft calfskin boots (in ivy green, no less) and classic moccasins plucked from the archives.

A Melbourne family are grieving after their two daughters, aged two and three, tragically lost their lives after a small fire filled their room with smoke.
Their parents reportedly woke to find their Geelong home filled with smoke at around 8am on Thursday morning.
A fire, believed to be caused by a toy falling on an electric heater, had broken out in the room where they were sleeping.
“The parents have noticed smoke coming from the front bedroom,” Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Guthrie told media, according to the ABC.
“We’re not too sure at this stage how long the fire’s been smouldering in the room … it was noticed at 8:00am and the heater had been turned on at some stage in the morning.
“The father has gone into the room and has removed the children and he and his wife have taken both of the children to hospital and when they got to hospital they were pronounced dead.”
Emergency crews were called to the home and the parents rushed to hospital with the two girls while neighbours looked after their six-month-old baby.
The baby, who had been asleep in another room, was also treated for smoke inhalation.
The family have reportedly lived in Australia for four years after fleeing Afghanistan as refugees.
Neighbour and friend Dr Charlie Corke, who wasn’t home at the time, described the incident as “everybody’s worst nightmare”.
“They’re a lovely family,” he told AAP. “They’re well-liked and I hope there’ll be adequate support in the community.”
Police are investigating the cause of the fire, however, it is not understood to be suspicious and are urging people to take care when using heaters in the home.

Kate Moss has always pushed the boundaries, something never more evident than in 2009 when the British supermodel revealed her controversial life motto: “Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.”

Crazy Rich Asianshas just come to our screens, and unsurprisingly it is set to be the film of the year.

According to theHollywood Reporter, the single-camera project, ‘revolves around Janet Zhao, a first-generation Chinese-American woman who struggles to set healthy boundaries with her crazy, exhausting family. When her wealthy grandmother dies and names Janet the sole inheritor, she suddenly finds herself the unwilling new matriarch of the family she’s spent her life trying to keep at arm’s length.’

Last night’s episode of The Bachelor saw another dramatic cocktail party and another Bachelor contestant leave the house in dramatic style.
After being spooked by the results from her lie-detector test on the previous group date, Tenille Favios and Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins had a heart-to-heart where they came to the realisation that they wouldn’t be able to make a go of their relationship under the pressure-cooker Bachelor environment.
Tenille then made the decision to leave before the night’s rose ceremony.
We chatted to Tenille about her decision to leave, the emotional roller-coaster inside the mansion and whether or not she would put herself through reality TV again.
How are you feeling after watching last night’s show and your dramatic departure?
I’m feeling good now, watching myself and how emotional I was – and how emotional Nick was – was hard for me. I did shed a little tear last night. But I’m in a good place now.
Can you talk us through your thought process, leaving off the back of the lie detector test and how you came to your decision to leave?
When you watch the Bachelor it looks so easy to fall in love but when you get in there, it’s a really hard situation, you’re spending limited time with this person and they’re wanting you to open up about feelings and its actually so crazy. We had that conversation about Steve and the lie detector and I had this penny drop moment where I just realised to myself.. When Nick came to me and said I don’t think I have time to break through these barriers, that was the moment my heart sank and I was thinking with my gut and I realised that he doesn’t. And I respect why he doesn’t, but you know for me I would have liked to have heard, ‘lets try and break through these barriers’, and even though I did have those barriers, I would have liked to see where it could go. But that doesn’t fall in line with the show, and they want someone who is pouring their heart out and head over heels and that just wasn’t me.
Nick seemed genuinely crushed when you left, were you surprised by that? Did it make you regret your decision at all?
Look I felt really bad watching it, but it’s also nice to see because it just means that what I was feeling for him was reciprocated. But I don’t regret leaving and I’m sure he doesn’t regret the decision either, we were such on the same page, and we knew there was something there but in that situation, it just wasn’t going to come to fruition. It’s almost better that we left it where it was and no one got really hurt and we’ll be really great friends after this.
Did you find the whole process harder than you thought it would be?
Yeah definitely, you expect it going in, we’ve all seen previous seasons and we expect the drama and this and that but when you get in there… I’m the person to just kill them with kindness and that in itself makes you a target, you feel like drama won’t follow you but it does, it tracks you down no matter what corner of the house you’re hiding in. But it’s all part of it and that’s what we sign up for. But the rest of my experience was lovely and I don’t regret any of it.
Speaking of the drama, a lot has been said of editing, do you feel like it has accurately portrayed your time on the show or were you quite surprised at watching the season play out?
The editing is accurate to a degree, it’s our bodies and it’s us speaking. I mean, I will say though, things we’ve said are clipped, I might be commenting on one thing and then next thing you know it’s being attached to something else that happened. But all in all it’s pretty legit. I wasn’t upset with the way I was edited, I just wish there was more focus on the pleasant stuff. There were so many funny moments with Nick and I, so many chats but you just never see that and next minute were having a D&M and I’m crying. It’s only a fraction of what happened in the house.
Speaking of your interactions with the girls, and in particular, Romy and that cocktail party where you got quite upset. She said that was fight was edited to appear that it was just her and hoped you would clear that up?
I’m confused by what she means by clearing it up, because what you see is what happened. Obviously, they can’t show every single part of what happened, it took place over about two hours. She’s right in that she wasn’t the only one that took issue with the situation, but the thing to remember is that just because you are feeling that way doesn’t mean you need to come at me like that and handle it like that.
A lot of serious topics have been raised on this season including bullying and mental health, and you clearly struggled in the house with some of the situations, what support did you receive after you broke down and have you received any since leaving?
We always had access to a psychologist in the house and that was always available to us just before the show, during the show and it’s still available to us now if we need it.
You saw Shannon there upset last night, she was so supportive to me when all that stuff went down, and we really were each other’s rock, we were just trying to make the house as pleasant as we could and get through.
And you did see the producers following me on camera [after the cocktail party last week] and we can discuss whether that was right or wrong, but at the end of the day she was there for me and she did talk me through it and she did help me make the decision to stay in there, so they were supportive.
With all this talk of bullying and mean girls, what was it like off the cameras living in the house day-to-day with all the girls?
What you see on the cameras is what you get, they [Romy, Cat and Alisha] were making people feel the way they were when you watch it. You’re watching it and thinking that’s quite nasty and we were feeling it tenfold. We’re away from friends and family and someone is saying these things and doing these things to you, but I will give them this, it’s not like they were following us around 247 and tormenting us and poking us with sticks or anything like that. It was a big house, you could find your own space, and hang out with others. We would just try and segregate ourselves, you’re not always going to get along with everyone in life which is fine. And I mean of course there were little arguments BTS that you didn’t see and that we’d had prior to that one you saw, all of that stuff just build up and then something like what happened at the cocktail party is bound to happened.
Who were you closest with on the show?
I got along with every single one of the girls – that wasn’t the three of them – but that said I did civilly get along with them and could live with them. But all of the girls were just so lovely and genuine and beautiful and always there for you. I’m still really close with Shannon and Vanessa, I chat with them frequently and also Aleksandra and Christina when they were in there.
Brittany and Sophie and Cass all reached out after last night’s episode and said you held yourself so wonderfully which was so nice, there’s so much support.
What was your favourite moment from the show?
It would have to be my single date – it was overshadowed by all the drama. But that date was perfect, I couldn’t have faulted it. We got on so well, we laughed the while day long, and I would have loved to have spent more time with him.
Is there anything about Nick that we don’t know or that would surprise us?
No, not that I can think. He’s absolutely what you see is what you get and that’s the best thing about him!
Who do you think will win?
I change my mind every episode! I have no idea – but I watch the episodes and see some amazing connections. I mean Brittany on a whole seems to have the best compatibility, they’re really well suited in who they are and where they want to go in their life right now so I’d probably go with her.
Would you do reality TV again – Bachelor In Paradise perhaps?
Yeah I’d definitely consider it. If you’d asked me when I first got out of the house I probably would have said god no! But then you move on from it, and it’s all water under the bridge and you can focus on the positives of the experience. And you miss it – you miss the crew and miss the girls… But yeah I would, you learn from the experience – and there are things I would do differently but absolutely I’d give it a shot.

In the lead-up, we sat down with Deeann Watt, owner of Watt Style salon in Brisbane, Queensland and winner of the 2018 L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy Marie Claire Reader’s Choice Award, to ask her about the hair colour trends we should all be adopting this summer.
You were the 2018 winner of the L’Oréal ProfessionnelColour Trophy Marie Claire Reader’s Choice Award. What does this award mean to you?
Winning the L’Oréal ProfessionnelColour Trophy Marie Claire Reader’s Choice Award meant so much to me. I felt women could relate to my hair colour and style on my model. Showing pastel shades can be soft, feminine and wearable for all age groups.
L’Oréal ProfessionnelColour Trophy is about to announce its finalists. Have you entered L’Oréal ProfessionnelColour Trophy again? And what does this competition mean for the hair industry?
I have not entered this year as I have wanted to enjoy and experience this journey from start to finish with no pressure. I will be back though next year! The L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy is the biggest hairdressing competition in the world. It showcases hairdressing talents whilst celebrating hair fashions.
What do you think the key looks at L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy will be this year?
Some of the looks for this year will show some movement in the hair. Curls, Curls and more curls! Also the pixie cut is big! Ultra-long hair is in too.
What are the big colour trends readers need to know about this season?
Some of the big colour trends this year will be every shade of blonde. Chestnut brunettes [will be big] too.

There are few people who can envisage working with their life partner – let alone doing so successfully – but for Louise Olsen and Stephen Ormandy, who co-founded Australian label Dinosaur Designs more than 30 years ago, it’s proven a winning formula.
“Stephen and I have always worked very harmoniously together,” admits Olsen from her sun-drenched Strawberry Hills studio. “We don’t take any prisoners and we’re brutally honest with each other, but it’s a wonderful adventure and creative endeavour to share together.”
After a chance meeting on their very first day of art school, Olsen and Ormandy created Dinosaur Designs almost by accident. “We started making things on Friday evenings and selling them at Paddington markets, and it just snowballed from there,” Olsen tells style influencer Jasmin Howell as part of our FIAT 500 Fashion Files.

Although they now occupy prime shelf space at the likes of Bergdorf Goodman and Victoria & Albert Museum, the design process behind a Dinosaur Designs piece remains the same since those fateful Friday nights. Every piece, be it a statement bangle or a sculptural vase, is made by hand in Sydney, and no two pieces are the same. “Resin is a lot like paint when it’s poured, it’s like a clear liquid honey,” explains Olsen. “We mix all the colours by hand, so when it gets poured into a mould its’s very much about the way the paint and the resin moves together in that moment.”
For Olsen, who designs both objet d’art and accessories, the worlds of art and fashion are beautifully intertwined. “When you’re putting an outfit together, it’s like putting a composition together,” she muses. “I see it like creating an artwork or a sculpture – when you add a great pair of earrings or a fantastic necklace, the whole piece comes together.”
She views all the jewellery she designs as mini sculptures in their own right, from the way a piece dances off the collarbone to the light shining through a fragment of resin dangling from the earlobe.

“Everything I design I also want to wear,” she says. “Style is something you grow and develop. You see things that you can relate to, and then that becomes part of your style.”
It’s a philosophy that applies equally to interior design, which Olsen likens to “jewellery for the home.”
“A room is a composition as well and when you put a beautiful vase on the table, think about how much that enlivens the rooms, either through a shape or a colour,” she says. There’s so many wonderful elements to play with.”

Mr Dawson has maintained his wife walked out on him and their two infant daughters in 1982, despite two coronial inquests having found Lynette was killed by a known person.
Information revealed on The Teacher’s Pet have lead people, including NSW Police, to believe Lynette Dawson’s remains are buried somewhere on Gilwinga Drive.
Homicide squad commander Scott Cook has said the team will be digging in four places on the property.
“We are digging in four areas; a small area at the back of the house between the rock and the building, another area in the near the clothes line, another area a little further up in the backyard and around the pool area,” he said.
The police are continuing their dig for the remains of Lynette Dawson today.

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwinmight have just tied the knot in a low-key ceremony at a New York City courthouse. According toTMZ, the couple visited the Marriage Bureau where the Sorry singer was overheard saying, “I can’t wait to marry you, baby.”
Another claims the court official was a “judge” … which insinuates they got married, but the outlet is refusing to confirm or deny the news. This could also be a major clue that Hailey and Justin are planning an overseas ceremony – where they can’t get a valid license.

The Hollywood Reporter revealed Jenner and his wife Kaitlynn Carter have finally reached a deal to join the show, a month after the revival was announced at the MTV Video Music Awards.
The Hills: New Beginnings will follow original castmembers Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, Audrina Patridge, Jason Whaler, Frankie Delgado, Justin Bobby Brescia and Stephanie Pratt, who reunited on the MTV VMAs red carpet last month to announce the reboot.

Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty New York Fashion Week show had it all: racial diversity, body diversity, dancers, the Hadids, and pregnant models.
But the most talked about moment was when heavily-pregnant model Slick Woods took to the runway with her baby bump on display, wearing nothing but a cut out strappy bodysuit and nipple pasties.
And, according to TMZ, not even an hour after exiting the runway, the 22-year-old went into labour with paramedics called to transport her to hospital.
Woods is reported to have given birth to a baby boy, her first child with partner Adonis Bosso, later that night.

At the Toronto International Film Festival Léa Seydoux looked elegant in Louis Vuitton, as she did in our interview two years ago for It’s Only the End of the World.
“It makes things easier because you don’t have to worry about what to wear,” the 33 year-old French beauty admits. “It’s true that I feel spoiled. All actresses want a fashion contract.”
How much time does it take out her life? “Not much.”
This probably helps as Seydoux has to take care of 18-month old Georges, her son with partner André Meyer. Interestingly in her new movie Kursk she is heavily pregnant and filming took place soon after she gave birth.
“I was a young mother and was still breastfeeding when I shot the film,” she recalls, “and I think I had more empathy for the character. Motherhood changes you emotionally, just the fact that you protect and are responsible for someone. We always ask women about this but I’m sure it’s the same big emotional experience for men when they become a parent.”
Her new film Kursk draws on this familial bond. It follows the real life story of the August 2000 Russian submarine disaster that claimed 23 lives. The submariners left behind wives and children in what was an unnecessary tragedy.
Seydoux plays Tanya, the wife of the commanding officer Mikhail Averin (Matthias Schoenaerts) and we watch as her impassioned character fights for the crew to be rescued. The film was directed by Thomas Vinterberg, who had also cast the hunky Beligan Schoenaerts as the romantic lead in 2015’s Far From the Madding Crowd.
“When Thomas approached me I was pregnant and I wasn’t really thinking about cinema,” Seydoux recalls, “but I met him and I really liked him. I was really touched by the story and wanted to gives voice to the people whose lives were destroyed. We knew the story as a physical fact and here we have the more humanistic perspective.
“Tanya represents the frustration and the anger and how the wives and families didn’t know what was happening. They were lied to and were unable to do anything.”
Seydoux worked with a dialect coach to get the accent right. “It’s something that I enjoy,” and she admits she loves working in English.
“It gives more distance. It’s a challenge but I feel less judged. The thing in France they’re putting me in a box; you can’t be who you want to be. You’re always related to your background.”
The girl from the rich family?
“Yes and it will never change.”
Seydoux comes from a family at the top of the filmmaking world in France, which is probably why she broke into the industry. Still, she has proved her talent over and over. She famously appeared in the sensual Cannes-winning lesbian drama Blue Is the Warmest Colour and the historical drama Farewell, My Queen.
“I prefer James Bond,” she replies with a chuckle, as if this was the fun side of her work. “I like the fact that he has a mission. There’s also something very classy about James Bond.”
Nevertheless she goes into raptures at the mention of Tom Cruise, the man who in his most recent Mission Impossible – Fallout banged into a building and managed to complete the film after recovering.
“He’s incredible. It’s crazy. He’s supernatural, a real superhero.”

It’s rare you see Prince William put a foot out of place, however the young royal this week made rare gaffe during a visit to a Japanese cultural centre in London.
His grandfather Prince Phillip, is famous for his culturally-inappropriate gaffes, and it seems Wills took a leaf out of his book, when he sat down with a group of children during the visit.
Making small talk, Wills asked the kids if they had eaten “much Chinese food”, before quickly correcting himself to say Japanese food, reports People.

How do you decide what to wear for fashion week?
I would love to say I have everything mapped out but I don’t. Everything happens very last minute so I just go with the weather and what I feel on the day. Every year, I say I am going to be more organised next time around. Having a plan would make life so much easier!
What’s the biggest fashion lesson you’ve learnt from previous fashion weeks?
Beware of clothes that crease and can’t last a day of running around! Probably my number one rule is to choose outfits that look good both sitting down and standing up.
What trends do you think we’ll see everywhere – either streets or runway – this fashion month?
A lot of transparent plastics, sheer materials, bucket hats and statement wrist bags. But probably the biggest trend I’ve seen across the board is a lot of neon, over-saturated colours… which I am still coming to terms with [Laughs].

Episode nine of The Bachelor was teased as being the night frontrunner Brooke Blurton would drop a bomb while speaking privately to Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins. However, the youth worker is no convicted murderer on the run, or anything equally as sinister as the ads made her out to be, she’s pansexual and has had previous relationships with both women and men.
Many commended 25-year-old Brooke for being open about her sexual preferences, and producers of The Bachelor for addressing such important issues, however, others slammed Brooke for ending her revelation with, “I’m not bisexual or a lesbian,” saying she acted like there was something wrong with being LGBTQI+.
Though Brooke didn’t use the term ‘pansexual’, she went on to explain that she’s attracted to people regardless of their gender, which is the definition of the relatively new sexual term.
Fans of the show praised her for bringing the sexual preference to light, saying: “Brooke is a pansexual queen” and, “Pansexuality is different to being bisexual or lesbian. She validated the experiences of pansexual people by explaining the difference.”
What does being pansexual actually mean?
Pansexuality is defined as being attracted to the person, not their gender. “It’s the person that you’re thinking about,” Surry Hills Therapy Sexologist Tanya Koens explains. “People like to put others into categories and boxes because we’ve lived in a very binary world for so long, but pansexuality is not saying you’re attracted to gender or orientation, it’s saying you’re attracted to people, regardless of whether they’re a man, a woman, gender-expansive or transgender.”
What is the difference between bisexual and pansexual?
The main distinction between pansexuality and bisexuality is that pansexuality rejects the gender binary to begin with. People who identify as pansexual are attracted to others regardless of their gender, while bisexuals identify as being attracted to women and men, transgender and non-binary people. The definition has been expanded as greater understanding of gender has come to light.
“Pansexuality might sound the same, but it is about being attracted to the individual regardless of sex or orientation,” Koens explains.

What is the difference between demisexual and pansexual?
“Demisexual is a category of Asexuality and it means people who need to be in a relationship before they consider having sex,” Koens explains. “There are a lot of different categories of Asexuality, or ‘ACE’ as people like to call it now. They are people who are not interested in sex at all, and this is one of the sub-categories.”
“With demisexuality, people need to have a strong connection and a relationship before they’d consider having sex.”
What are the common misconceptions of pansexuality?
Misconceptions of pansexuality are often that people who are pansexual are promiscuous or that the term means the same as bisexuality. Other misconceptions are that pansexuals won’t be faithful partners or that they are polyamorous – they may well be polyamorous (open to having relationships with more than one person), but they can also just as easily be monogamous.
How common is it for people to be pansexual?
“The term is relatively new and until now, people have used the term ‘bisexual’ to explain pansexuality,” Koens explains. “But as we’re moving away from gender constraints, it’s becoming a more widely acknowledged sexual preference.”

How are you feeling after watching last night’s episode?
I was sad to see me go obviously, I didn’t want to go so soon – and it was sad to watch how the group date was shown on TV, because Nick and I actually had heaps of chats.
Were you surprised to be sent home?
I wasn’t surprised – I went into the rose ceremony thinking it could be myself or Jamie because coming in later, we both hadn’t had a lot of time with Nick. Everyone else had a connection and I just hadn’t had the chance yet.
You were accused of having zero emotion in last night’s episode – was that fair?
You’re sitting in a dark room under a spotlight and asked all these crazy questions and it totally throws you. Steve asked me if I believed in God, all these questions – I forgot I was even on camera. I’m like, I’ve just got my thinking face on, it doesn’t make me emotionless. It was a really uncomfortable situation.
You also applied to be the next Bachelorette and auditioned for Survivor – what appeals to you so much about reality TV?
I just love the challenges of Survivor – it’s such a personal challenge to put yourself through. With The Bachelorette, I’ve watched all the seasons and think it’s a good process, so many matches have lasted. I think you just never know what’s out there if you don’t try. It’s like they say – I’m from Adelaide, there’s a giant man drought – it’s not so much about reality TV, it’s more so the opportunity to reach out and meet new people.
Are you open to the idea of Bachelor in Paradise? If I was single and hadn’t met anyone then yeah, I would have a good think about Bachelor in Paradise – I wouldn’t turn it down. I think everything happens for a reason so if that opportunity came my way, I’d take it.
Is it true that you used to date Robbie from Survivor?
We’ve dated in the past and we’re really good friends now. We used to swim together, we have a really good history. I’ve known him for 10-15 years. He’s the total package deal.
Who made the best impression on you in the Bachie mansion?
I really loved Jamie, she was my best friend in there. Brooke was so genuine and amazing, Cass was beautiful and the more I got to know Sophie, she was so funny. All the girls had such special qualities.
Who do you think will win?
It’s hard to say, but I think obviously Brooke and Brittany have a good chance. Maybe he’s got a soft spot for Jamie as well?

The 31-year-old opted to only wear suits while promoting her new film as an ode to her character in the film. Blake’s hairstylist Rod Ortega and makeup artist Kristofer Buckle recently opened up about how they created different looks to compliment the star’s wardrobe.
“In my whole career, this is a first – working with someone who is only wearing suits,” Ortega revealed to People. It’s different for me artistically, because I’m used to doing big, wavy, full hair on Blake. This forced me to do more simple, relaxed hairstyles since the silhouettes are much straighter than a flowy dress.”
He added that “Blake isn’t in black that often, so I wanted to keep hair nice and sleek.”

Focus Features and Carnival Films are producing the Downton Abbey movie, telling Deadline that show creator Julian Fellowes has written the screenplay and many of the original cast – think Dockery, Maggie Smith and Hugh Bonneville – are all on board.

It seems incomprehensible that the 26-year-old, who is considered one of the top models on the planet, could have been passed over for jobs. But in an interview with Vogue, Kloss revealed that it happened and it was related to weight gain.
“I started taking birth control, and my body became more womanly – hips and thighs appeared,” the 26-year-old Victoria’s Secret model and entrepreneur said in the interview. “I started losing jobs; I wasn’t getting booked for the runway; designers stopped working with me. It felt as if my world had been turned upside down.”
The model had gone from a “size zero to a size four-to-six over the course of a year” – which is still tiny, especially considering Kloss is over six foot tall.
At that point Kloss had been working in the industry for nearly a decade, since she was 15, and while it was crushing for the 26-year-old to be missing out on jobs after building such a successful modeling career, the situation provided the perfect opportunity for the model to reassess what she wanted from life.
Kloss took some coding classes and from there has become a leader in championing girls to get involved with tech, specifically coding, founding a scholarship program, Kode with Klossy, for young girls interested in computer science.
So, even though Kloss’s story casts the modeling industry in a terrible light, two positive outcomes resulted from it: Kloss found a new direction and in the process, became a trailblazing role model for girls keen to get into the tech world.

You see [so] many sad things every day that you think life is like that.”
The 36-year-old royal said during his tenure as a pilot with the East Anglian Air Ambulance in particular, he found it difficult not to bring his work stress home with him, “You’re always dealing with despair and sadness and injury,” Prince William revealed. “The attrition builds up and you never really have the opportunity to offload anything if you’re not careful.”
This “suffering in silence” is one of the key aspects Prince William is hoping to address with his new mental health initiative, a website to improve mental health in workplaces.
E News reports aside from his own mental health struggles related to work, Prince William was “stunned” to learn that “only two per cent of employees in Britain feel able to talk to their HR departments about their mental health.”

British writer Brydie Lee-Kennedy is just one of countless women who have caught the bus, heavily pregnant, only to be denied a seat in favour of someone else’s wide-spread legs/briefcase/shopping bags.
But after she took action – in the most hilarious way – and tweeted her endeavours, the peak-hour public transport incident has gone viral, Yahoo7 reports.
Lee-Kennedy boarded the bus at eight months’ pregnant to find that the only spare seat was occupied by a bag belonging to the man sitting next to it.
Her next move? Priceless.
“I just sat on a man’s hand and bag when he wouldn’t move them off the last spare seat,” she tweeted. “We’re now sharing a very quiet ride.”
Her tweet has since been shared 1581 times and garnered 17,619 likes, with countless women sharing public transport nightmares of their own.
“I was standing on a train, minding my own business while I cooked a human in my uterus after a long day of work, and some random douchebag pipes up from his seat with “I would offer you a seat, but being pregnant was your life choice”. I should have eaten him,” one woman writes.
“I was on the tube with my best mate once when a very very pregnant woman got on. No one got up. Not even the nun closest (who obviously pretended not to notice the woman), my friend, sitting next to the nun, got up instead,” shared another.

Australian student Courtney Whithorn suffered such extreme bullying that she developed an almost life-threatening habit – nail-biting. After three surgeries, the 20-year-old student had her thumb amputated when doctors diagnosed her with a rare type of cancer called acral lentiginous subungual melanoma.
Courtney’s doctors believe the disease is linked to years of severe trauma to the nail bed. The psychology student fell victim to schoolyard bullying at just 16-years-old and hid the physical signs of her mental stress from her family and friends.
Courtney’s nail-biting eventually became so serious that she once bit her thumb nail completely off. It never grew back properly, resulting in a persistent bruised and purplish discolouration.
Since her shock diagnosis in July, Courtney has undergone four surgeries. Sadly her thumb had to be amputated just one week ago. “I also had two lymph nodes taken out for them to test whether or not the cancer had spread. The pigmentation from my thumb had travelled so it was dark but none of the malignant cells had travelled yet,” Courtney, who lives on the Gold Coast, told The Sun.
“Literally everything we’ve caught, we’ve caught it on the cusp of it going to the rest of my body – the timing has just been everything.”
Courtney’s passion for writing has been affected by her thumb amputation, and she’s also had to defer her university course to recover.
“I’m still waiting for that set of results from the surgery last week and if it’s clear then the surgeon watches me for the next five years and I get regular scans and bloods,” she said.
“There’s not enough research to say what the survival rate is or what the likelihood of it coming back is because – we just don’t know much about it. I’ve just cried every time it’s been brought up. The location of the cancer in my thumb is unknown so if it still shows up then they’re just going to have to keep cutting away until we get a clear result.”
Following the surgery, Courtney’s mother, Sara Whithorn, revealed to marie claire that high school bullying was the cause of her daughter’s severe nail-biting. She hopes that Courtney’s ordeal can be a lesson to everyone about the extreme trauma – both mental and physical – that bullying can lead to.

The man accused of killing his wife, their three daughters and his mother-in-law has appeared in court, charged with their murder.
Anthony Robert Harvey has been charged with five counts of murder after he handed himself into police and leading them to the bodies of daughters, Alice and Beatrix, two, Charlotte, three, wife, Mara, 47, and mother-in-law, Beverly, 74.
The court heard that the murders of his wife and children allegedly took place on September 3, while Ms Quinn allegedly died the following day, reports News Corp.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Parker said a 2018 reboot of the show wouldn’t work, “You couldn’t make Sex and the City today because of the lack of diversity on screen.”
Imagining a reboot with four white leads, Parker said, “I personally think it would feel bizarre.” But she wasn’t keen on the idea of a new cast either; “I don’t know that you could do it with a different cast. I think that’s radical and interesting, but you can’t pretend it’s the same.”

Despite thongs being a firm wardrobe staple Down Under, the humble rubber shoe has long been reserved for beach days or quick dashes to the supermarket. New York Fashion Week is in full swing with Gigi and Bella Hadid dominating the runway at shows such as Ralph Lauren and Prabal Gurung, but as the days – and shows – have gone by, one famous face has been notably absent.
Despite being in New York and sitting front row for shows such as Longchamp, Kendall Jenner is taking a break from the runway, opting instead to see fashion week from “the other side.”
“It’s always a bit different,” Jenner told W Magazine. “It’s always fun to be on the other side of things and get to be on the other side of the craziness. I actually enjoy it. I love being able to see the collections when they are brand new.”
The 22-year-old has been open about her struggles with anxiety in the past, revealing it’s the reason she often doesn’t travel abroad for fashion shows in London, Milan and Paris.
“Anxiety was a huge hurdle for me to deal with this past year (and security concerns didn’t help), but I think I’m finally learning how to cope,” Jenner posted on her app in 2016, before later revealing she wakes up in the night from panic attacks.
“I have such debilitating anxiety because of everything going on that I literally wake up in the middle of the night with full-on panic attacks,” she told Harper’s Bazaar US.
Jenner’s decision to take a break from the runway comes after she had to clear up controversial comments published in LOVE magazine. “I was never one of those girls who would do like 30 shows a season, or whatever the f–k those girls do,” Jenner is quoted as saying.
“More power to ’em. But I had a million jobs, not only catwalks and everything else. The whole combination was very overwhelming and I started to freak out a little bit, and needed to take a step back.”

What is your skincare routine?
My skincare routine has always been quite simple. I cleanse, I use a serum and I moisturise. But as I’ve grown older, I now understand that if I don’t care for the inside, it’ll show on the outside. I take collagen daily, guzzle the water, consume olive oil whenever possible and moisturise the neck, the décolletage, and tops of hands.
What is one of your favourite products?
My skin has always been sensitive, so I’m thrilled I can use serums which I also now add to my foundation for extra glow. The Clarins Double Serum works wonders for me and I also love their Face Treatment Oils. I love the scent.

In a perfect world, I’d be at that beauty salon weekly, but that’s not my reality. I’m a working mum and if I can’t do something in under 10 minutes, forget it. I avoid heavy makeup; there’s no way I’d do contouring or shimmer. I like to accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative and my only request if I do have my makeup done is “I don’t want to look tired…coz I’m tired.”

My hair is so thin, I never grew out of baby hair.So I asked this girl on Instagram with amazing hair ‘can I have some of your hair please?’ And she said ‘no, but if you use Davines All In One Milk, you’ll thank me forever.’

Years ago, I sat next to a stunning lady [who had] skin had a glow like no other, I couldn’t help myself, I leant over and asked ‘what’s your secret?’ And she whispered back, ‘a spoonful of olive oil every day.’ I have literally now bought shares in Cobram Estate as I took her at her word.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s first official royal tour is rapidly approaching and now we finally know where the royal couple will be spending their time when they visit Australia.
The royal tour, which will see them also visiting New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga, will officially kick off in Sydney on Tuesday, October 16.

The pair will begin the tour in Sydney with a water taxi ride to the Sydney Opera House, a public walkabout at Sydney Opera House forecourt, a viewing of the Bangarra Dance Company rehearsals and a trip to Taronga Zoo – but unlike other visiting royals before them, Megs and Hazza won’t be permitted to cuddle the koalas.
Despite the gasps of shock from the British press, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will meet koalas and joeys during their visit at Taronga but will be restricted to patting them as it is now against the law in NSW to cuddle a koala, smh.com.au reports.
From Sydney the pair will visit Dubbo on Wednesday, October 17 where they will head to the Royal Flying doctor Service hangar to visit with school children and unveil a new aircraft, meet with local farmers to discuss the drought and then attend a public picnic at Dubbo’s Victoria Park (where Harry will give a speech).
Next, Meghan and Harry will travel down to Melbourne on October 18, for a public walkabout at Government House and Royal Botanic Gardens, followed by a Reception with the Governor of Victoria to meet with leaders and community workers to watch a demonstration by This Girl Can, and ending their day with a tram ride around South Melbourne Beach. The Duke and Duchess with then head back up to Sydney for three days while they attend the Invictus Games including the opening ceremony.
From there the couple will head north to Fraser Island in Queensland on October 22 where they will see a completed Queen’s Canopy project, which aims to restore rainforest across the Commonwealth, before they depart Australia for Fiji and Tonga.
The couple will then briefly head back to Sydney to attend the Invictus Games closing ceremony before departing for New Zealand where they will stay for four days before returning to the UK.

Excess abdominal fat, especially of the visceral kind, has been linked to a range of health issues including cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes and some cancers. Unfortunately, the important task of shifting it can be a struggle.
Kari D. Pilolla, lead author and assistant professor of Nutrition at the California Polytechnic State University, highlights the lack of high-quality evidence for the belly fat burning benefits of diets like intermittent fasting, high-protein diets and the paleo diet.
But don’t despair, there are some eating habits that have been found to help. Research shows that reducing the intake of trans and saturated fat while increasing consumption of fibre is associated with lower stomach fat.
“Thus, a great start to preventing and reducing abdominal obesity is to follow a diet that encourages foods high in fibre such as vegetables, fruits, legumes, and whole grains and limits foods high in trans and saturated fats, such as fatty meats, baked goods, and highly processed foods,” Kari writes.
“These recommendations are consistent with heart-healthy diets like the NIH-developed Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH) diet and the Mediterranean-style diet.”
Aside from fruits, veggies, legumes and whole grains, the DASH diet also focuses on low-fat dairy, lean meats and heart-healthy fats. The Mediterranean diet is high in fish and seafood, with a moderate amount of olive oil, poultry, eggs, cheese, yoghurt and red wine.
The biggest takeaway here? Kari says that evidence-based options are your best bet and chatting to a registered dietitian has major benefits in preventing “unintended nutrient deficiencies and toxicities from poorly designed diets or inclusion of special supplements.”

September 26th is an important date for Olivia Newton-John. In just a few short weeks the Australian icon will turn 70-years-old. However, this year Olivia isn’t planning a big birthday bash – she’s just focusing on surviving.
The Grease star is battling cancer for the third time, revealing that doctors recently found a tumour at the base of her spine. “I’m still treating it, and I’m treating it naturally and doing really well,” Olivia told with Channel 7’sSunday Night, revealing that she is turning to a mixture of radiation therapy and holistic medicines.
Newton-John remains optimistic about her future having beat the disease previously. In 1992 she was diagnosed with breast cancer, then two decades later she privately sought treatment for cancer in her shoulder. Adding that she also grapples with her mortality, “there are moments. I’m human. So if I allow myself to go there, I could easily create that, you know, big fear.”

Newton-John is currently living on her ranch in Santa Barabra, California with her husband of ten years John Easterling. The singer-songwriter says she’s fortunate to be living in a state which has legalised the use of marijuana.
“In California, it’s legal to grow a certain amount of plants for your own medicinal purposes. So he [Easterling] makesmetinctures. It’s hard to say, they help with pain.
“I’m very lucky that I live in a state where it’s legal and that I have a husband that is a plant-medicine man.”
Adding that she hopes Australia will recognise the benefits of medical cannabis. “My dream is that in Australia soon, it will be available to all the cancer patients and people going through cancer that causes pain.”
Looking back at her tremendous career, Newton-John adds, “you know, there are other people out there doing much, much worse than me. And, um, I’m a very privileged person, and I’m very aware of that. I live in this beautiful place. I have a wonderful husband. I have all the animals that I adore. I have an incredible career. I have nothing, really, to complain about.”

The 25-year-old singer and actor opened up about his recent engagement to 36-year-old Priyanka Chopra sharing details of the engagement and also their celebrity couple nickname.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, Jonas revealed to the talk show host that after getting engaged the lovebirds “participated in a traditional Roka ceremony, which Jonas explained is a ‘confirmation from both sides of the family that they approve of the engagement.’”
“We both left that ceremony so full of joy,” Jonas told Fallon, while Chopra reportedly watched on from the audience. Rom-coms are having a banner year thanks to big screen blockbusters like Crazy Rich Asians and at-home viewing options like Netflix’s surprise cult hit To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, and what these warm fuzzy flicks have reminded us of is how much we love this genre.
A good rom-com has so much going for it from ticking all the heart-warming emotional boxes to serious on-screen eye candy (the cast is always so darn good looking) and the fairy-tale happy ending proving true love exists – well, on-screen at least.
But, while re-watching To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is an easy option to satisfy a newly discovered young adult (YA) rom-com addiction, there’s nothing like a new comedic love story to fill your rom-com watching quota. 1. Noah Centineo is in it
Need we say more? Probably not, but just in case you’ve missed everything that’s happened on the entire internet and all social media for the past few weeks here’s a refresher: 22-year-old actor Noah Centineo is the star of Netflix’s recent rom-com cult hit To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and since the streamer dropped the movie, everyone on the internet and social media has fallen in love with his character and also him IRL.
Centineo gained over a million followers in one day on the ‘Gram after the streamer released the rom-com and now he’s the internet’s favourite boyfriend.
The 22-year-old heartthrob stars in Netflix’s newest rom-com flick, Sierra Burgess is a Loser, playing the handsome love interest, Jamey.
2. The plot
The comedic missteps that pave the way to happily ever after in this rom-com are based on a case of mistaken identity. This tried-and-test formula is a classic rom-com plot that has worked for many other iconic movies in this genre including Uma Thurman’s 1996 The Truth About Cats & Dogs, 2007 musical rom-com Enchanted starring five-time Oscar-nominated actress Amy Adams and Sandra Bullock’s While You Were Sleeping.
3. It’s a modern retelling of a classic story
Who doesn’t love an updated take on a classic story? We were all here for Clueless which is, of course, Jane Austen’s Emma transplanted to 1995 Beverly Hills, and we all loved the modern retelling of Shakespeare’s Taming of The Shrew, 1999’s 10 Things I Hate About You starring Julia Stiles and Heath Ledger.
Sierra Burgess is a Loser is another updated take on a classic, this time the play Cyrano de Bergerac. Where the protagonist in Edmond Rostand’s 1897 play is a gentlemen who likes a girl but doesn’t think she’ll like him back, so he convinces a good looking gent to pretend to be him, Sierra Burgess is a Loser’s does a gender flip placing a high school girl, Sierra (played by Shannon Purser), in the lead role with Jamey (Noah Centineo) the object of her affection and Veronica (played by Kristine Froseth) the beautiful-but-mean cheerleader Sierra convinces to pretend to be her.
4. Chrissy Metz from This Is Us plays a hilarious ‘mumager’
Chrissy Metz, one of the stars of tear-jerking drama show This Is Us, doesn’t have a huge amount of screen time in the film but when she does, it’s dynamite. Metz plays Trish, Veronica’s bitter, hectic pageant ‘mumager’ who champions cheerleading over study and joins other extreme on-screen mums, like Regina George’s mum (played by Amy Poehler) in Mean Girls, in the hall of how-not-to-parent fame.
5. The on-screen friendships will give you warm fuzzy feelings
Sierra and her best buddy Dan (played by RJ Cyler) have a fantastic fun friendship the envy of real-life relationships everywhere. So many ‘90s fashion and beauty trends have been making a comeback from bike shorts to neon to scrunchies, many of them championed by model Bella Hadid, so is it any surprise the model is making a strong case to bring back the ‘90s banana or claw clip as the latest must-wear hair accessory?

Whatever the reason, this is one ‘90s accessories trend Hadid is firmly invested in if her recent outings to the US Open with her sister Gigi Hadid and on the streets of New York are anything to go on.
Fingers crossed the model doesn’t find out about the advanced version of the clip, the multiple mini butterfly clips as seen on Kirsten Dunst back in the day is a tough look for anyone to pull off, even one with ideal bone structure like Hadid.

There were spades woven throughout the Kate Spade spring 2019 collection. The British Fashion Council has announced that this year’s London Fashion Week will be fur free for the first time in history.
After surveying all of the designers involved – including Victoria Beckham, Erdem, JW Anderson and Burberry – the BFC confirmed that animal fur wouldn’t be seen on the London Fashion Week catwalks, which will kick off on Friday.
“The survey results reflect a cultural change based on ideals and choice made by designer businesses, international brands as well as consumer sentiment – but also encouraged by the stance of multi-brand stores who are moving away from selling fur,” the BFC wrote in a statement.
The announcement comes after Burberry revealed it would no longer use animal fur in its collections. “Modern luxury means being socially and environmentally responsible. This belief is core to us at Burberry and key to our long-term success,” said Marco Gobbetti, Chief Executive Officer at Burberry.
Likewise Victoria Beckham, who is showing at London Fashion Week for the first time this year, is a long-time supporter of the anti-fur movement and has always said she would never work with fur in her fashion collections.

Designer Brandon Maxwell’s show at New York Fashion Week had a star-studded model line-up, but Victoria Secret model Lily Aldridge had the most special accessory on the night – her growing baby bump.
The model, who recentlyannounced she’s expecting her second childwith Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Foley, hit the runway wearing a stunning fitted red halter-dress. The couple are already parents to a six-year-old daughter, Dixie Pearl.
Aldridge shared a few snapshots of herself on the runway in an Instagram gallery, which garnered likes from fellow models Martha Hunt and Brooklyn Decker as well as Brandon Maxwell himself. “I love you Lily!!!!!” he commented. “What a JOY it was to work with you.”
“So proud to walk the @brandonmaxwell runway 5 months pregnant! I’ve walked few runways in my life and this is a moment that I’ll look back on forever with great emotion,” Aldridge captioned the photos. “Thank you Brandon for letting my shine & being such a true gentleman, Love you FOREVER!!!”
