Cue The Cramps’ Goo Goo Muck, the appropriately toturous wait for Wednesday season two, part two is finally over with Netflix finally set to release new episodes.
The dark and deliciously twisted second season picked up where it left off. Now back at Nevermore Academy, Wednesday Addams finds herself at the centre of a new mystery, one that’s far more personal and dangerous.
As she navigates an increasingly tangled web of secret societies, betrayals, and visions, Wednesday must confront a chilling prediction: her best friend Enid is fated to die.
So far, Wednesday’s mission to save Enid has proved fruitless. Then, there’s the matter of the Hyde (aka Tyler) escaping imprisonment at the institution, now free and hellbent on hunting down both Wednesday and Enid.
Fans were also treated to the surprise reveal that Principal Weems, played by Gwendoline Christie, would be returning for the second half of the series after her untimely demise.

How Many Episodes In ‘Wednesday’ Season Two & Release Schedule
Netflix’s gothic hit follows Jenna Ortega’s iconic Wednesday Addams into Season 2, debuting in two parts this August and September 2025. Season two of the show will have a total of eight episodes, evenly split into four episodes in part one and then four episodes in part two. See the schedule below:

Season Two Guest Stars
Season 2 of Wednesday is stacked with star power. Steve Buscemi joined the cast as the new principal of Nevermore Academy, bringing his signature eccentric edge. Joanna Lumley steps in as Grandmama Addams, while Billie Piper and Thandiwe Newton are also confirmed for mysterious roles.
The most exciting guest star? Lady Gaga is rumoured to appear as a Nevermore faculty member with secrets of her own, going by the name of Rosaline Rotwood. Gaga is also reportedly involved in the Season 2 soundtrack, bringing her haunting vocals and theatrical flair to the show’s dark aesthetic.
While Netflix hasn’t confirmed details, fans are already speculating about a new original song or eerie cover that could rival Season 1’s viral “Goo Goo Muck” moment.
Ahead of part two dropping, Netflix shared the first look at Gaga in her new role.
A few key cast members won’t be back for Wednesday Season 2. Most notably, Percy Hynes White, who played Xavier Thorpe, is not expected to return following off-screen controversy. Naomi J. Ogawa, who portrayed vampire student Yoko, is also absent from the confirmed cast list.
