Over the past few days, the world has been going crazy with reports that 20-year-old Kylie Jenner is pregnant.
While sources have said that both Kylie and her boyfriend of five months, Travis Scott, have told friends the news, the famous Kardashian-Jenner family has been expertly dodging the media โ neither confirming or denying the pregnancy.
When asked outright, mum Kris Jenner told both fashion week reporters and Ryan Seacrest that the beauty mogul wasnโt confirming anything.
Her father, Caitlyn Jenner, however, didnโt get the secrecy memo, confirming that Kylie is most definitely pregnant.

Overnight, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made their first official public appearance together after over a year of dating.
Harry is in Toronto, Canada for the Invictus Games, the sporting competition he started for wounded servicemembers, with his Suits actress girlfriend (who is based in Toronto) heading along to watch day three beside her prince.
Prepare yourselves for the cuteness to follow.
The Invictus Games isnโt just any old event, either: It has the full backing of Buckingham Palace, itโs highly publicised and covered by press from all over the world.
The pairโs decision to attend together is yet another strong indication that a royal engagement is imminent, and comes just a few weeks after Meghanโs first interview about their relationship.
โI can tell you that at the end of the day I think itโs really simple,โ the loved-up actress toldVanity Fair.
โWeโre two people who are really happy and in love. We were very quietly dating for about six months before it became news, and I was working during that whole time, and the only thing that changed was peopleโs perception,โ she continued.
โNothing about me changed. Iโm still the same person that I am, and Iโve never defined myself by my relationship.โ
โIt has its challenges, and it comes in waves,โ the 36-year-old said of the public attention.
โSome days it can feel more challenging than others. And right out of the gate it was surprising the way things changed. But I still have this support system all around me, and, of course, my boyfriendโs support.โ
The above isnโt just any famous coupleโs first outing or first interview โ in fact, it means so much that Britainโs bookmakers have stopped taking bets on whether or not the prince will propose because they think itโs inevitable.

โThis make-up is all about bringing out the goddess within. Beaming skin, reflective pigments and luminous highlights are the key elements,โ says Rajja Richani, Global Make-up Artist for Napoleon Perdis. โTo keep skin gleaming all day and night, add Light Switch Luminizer Palette to your touch-up bag. This easy to use palette of cream colours is the perfect refresher.โ
Wedding Day Make-Up
โAdd a swipe of colour to the lips, and a double dose of liner to define and enhance the eyes,โ says Rajja, who recommends Napoleon Perdis Eye Pencil โOnyx Factorโ for its โsoft and highly pigmented formulaโ. Ideal for most styles of wedding, โthere is definitely a timeless feel to this look, making it perfect for a classic or cocktail bride. To stop your glow turning into shine, Rajja suggests โapplying a light layer of powder over any areas prone to shine.โ
Wedding Day Make-Up
โThis is all about zero-fuss, natural beauty and complexion perfection. The key elements are perfected skin, stained lips and softly contoured eyes,โ Rajja explains. Versatile and easily adapted, โthis look is all about showcasing your natural beauty, so itโs perfect for anyone. To replicate, simply use nude tones that work with your complexion.โ
Wedding day make-up
โTo transform this make-up look, the eyes were taken from sculpted to smokey, adding extra definition and intensity,โ says Rajja. โPump up the eyes by first applying Color Disc โQueen Of The Nightโ onto the eyelid. Then, sweep Mosaic Powder Bronzing through the socket of the eye to add warmth. Use Eye Pencil โOnyx Factorโ to line and define the upper and lower lash lines and water lines for added intensity.โ Finally, โapply a generous coat of Mattetastic Lipstick โAvaโ to the lips.โ

Th pair are a couple of self-confessed foodies, and Miranda has a few signature dishes up her sleeve which her hubby loves.
โHe really loves my slow-roasted turmeric, garlic, and lemon organic chicken. So thatโs actually what I made for him on our wedding day,โ she said, revealing that she served her husband and their immediate family, with a chef on hand to replicate the dish for the rest of the guests.
โHe also really loves my homemade apple pie, which I started making when I heard it was his favourite.โ
The couple enjoy entertaining for friends at home, where Miranda cooks or Evan gets out the barbie for a weekend pool party.
One of the many perks of married life with Evan? โHe makes a mean burger,โ Miranda says. โItโs REALLY good. He uses grass-fed beef, and then he has his special technique where he puts a little cheese on the inside, and he marinates it in different herbs and seasonings.โ
He also makes a delicious guacamole, another favourite of Mirandaโs. โI got lucky!โ the mother-of-one gushes.
We wouldnโt mind a dinner party with the adorable little family of three but for now, weโre going to take a leaf out of Mirandaโs book and find a man that can cook!

Earlier this month came the news Netflix was releasing a haunting adaptation of Stephen Kingโs novel, Geraldโs Game.
And the streaming giant has returned to the endless well of King stories for another film, the chilling 1922.
Based on Kingโs grisly novella, 1922 follows farmer Wilfred (Thomas Jane), his wife Arlette (Molly Parker) and their son Henry (Dylan Schmid) in 1920s Nebraska. When Arlette realises she wants to say goodbye to country life and move to the city, Wilfred makes a decision that will haunt him until the day he dies.
1922 is directed by Australian Zak Hilditch, who also made the apocalyptic road movie These Final Hours. According to Variety, the film delivers slow burn drama plus plenty of old-fashioned horror shocks.
The trailer seems to give a lot away, so if youโre unperturbed by spoilersโand a terrifying infestation of ratsโwatch it below.
1922 hits Netflix on October 20 โ just in time for Halloween.

With over a year to wait until the final season of Game of Thrones, naturally, the only thing to do to pass the time is speculate about what could happen next.
While the main thing on our minds has been what will happen when Jon and Dany find out theyโre related, and the larger question of who will end up on the Iron Throne, a GoT actor has all but confirmed two other major theories.
In a new interview withBe, Tom Hopper who played the handsome Dickon Tarly (RIP) revealed that he could see these two major theories playing out next season.
โI like the Sam fan theory,โ he said, agreeing with fans who think that the show weโre watching is actually a book written by Sam Tarly (Dickonโs older brother). โItโs that Samwell Tarly is narrating the whole thing, like itโs his story.โ
He also blew our minds with this sentence: โI think Jamie is probably going to end up killing Cersei.โ
This would not only be the most epic death scene on the series, but itโs also pretty likely to happen as Maggy the Frog predicted Cerseiโs death would be at the hands of โthe valonqarโ (which is High Valyrian for โlittle brotherโ).

Battle of the Sexes actress Emma Stone has spoken candidly about her childhood struggles with anxiety, revealing on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert that she started having panic attacks when she was seven years old.
โI was a very, very anxious child and I had a lot of panic attacks,โ she said. โI benefited in a big way from therapy โ I started it at seven.โ
Stone had brought along a picture she drew when she was nine to illustrate her mental illnesss. โThis is me with anxiety, who is a little green monster,โ she explains.

Acting, and particularly improvisation, helped relieve Stoneโs symptoms. โI still have anxiety to this day, but not panic attacks,โ she said, adding that therapy and acting were both pivotal coping methods.
Stone has opened up in the past about her very first panic attack: โI was sitting in my friendโs house and I though the house was burning down. I called my mum and she brought me home, and for the next three years it just would not stop. I would ask my mum to tell me exactly how the day was going to be, then ask again 30 seconds later, I just needed to know that no one was going to die and nothing was going to change.โ

Some have even claimed theyโll change their vote to โNoโ or abstain because of what they see as a privacy intrusion.
The texts were generated by randomised computer software and funded by grassroots yes organisation YesEquality.
They read: โThe Marriage Equality Survey forms have arrived! Help make history and vote YES for a fairer Australia. VoteYes.org.au.โ
One of the most striking โ and disappointing โ aspects of the marriage equality to date is how easily people appear able to change their minds about fundamental human rights because of some external, and ultimately irrelevant, action from the opposite side.
Whether youโre voting โyesโ or โnoโ โ your life has not been impacted by a text message. Or a t-shirt. Or a protest. Or a tweet. Or a discussion.
Show us on the doll where the SMS hurt you.
You either believe in the human rights of someone to marry the person they love or you donโt.
If your ethics and belief systems are so flimsy that you can flip your views on whether or not two people can get married on the basis of a short text message, you need to reassess the strength of your character.
One Facebook poster, Melissa Star from Melbourne, put it beautifully:
โTo the person who said โI was going to vote yes before getting your annoying text message but will now vote noโ โ are you really saying I should be denied the ability to get married and have a family because you got a text message on your phone?
Just how worthless do you think your fellow citizens are?โ
Melissa went on to say she understood someone voting no because of their religious beliefs or because they simply hated gay men and women and wanted to hurt them. That, she suggests, at least is a defensible position. A hateful one, but a consistent one.
โBut a text message?โ she writes. โYouโre an asshole. The inconvenience of you getting a single text message is not more important than the family life of another human being.โ
The left may be a bunch of sentimental, crybaby snowflakes โ with our bleeding-heart concerns for the rights of the oppressed, and our whining obsession with equality and peace.
But give us a little credit. Weโre not chucking tanties over a text message.

Police have issued a warning against leaving children unattended in cars following a record heatwave and two alleged incidents in NSW on the weekend.
A father has been charged after allegedly leaving his three-year-old son in a parked car in Yagoona on Saturday. According to 9 News, the boy became distressed and police had to break into the the car to free him while his father was inside the Hume Hotel.
โAs soon as we saw him, we were like, โOh my god, do we break the window, are we allowed to do that?โ So we just rang the police straight away,โ witness Issa Khadem said.
โHe was crying, he had wet himself in the car, poor thing.โ
Officers also said they found a two-year-old boy home alone at the family address.
A Sydney man will face court next week accused of leaving his three 3yo son in a sweltering car while he went to the pub. #yagoona#7Newspic.twitter.com/voHEaKz7Gg
In a separate incident, a mother has been charged after allegedly leaving her 15-month-old daughter alone in a parked car on Sunday. According to news.com.au, police were called to Hurstville shopping centre to remove the girl, who had been left alone for about 30 minutes.
NSW Police have issued an important warning about the dangers of leaving children alone in hot cars:
* On a hot day the temperature inside a parked car can rise to 30-40 degrees above the outside temperature โ if itโs a 30 degree day, the temperature inside a car can exceed 70 degrees Celsius.
* These high temperatures inside a closed vehicle can be reached within as few as 5 minutes. The temperature can peak within as few as 15 minutes.
* The temperature inside a closed vehicle rises when the airflow decreases, making breathing inside the vehicle very difficult.
* Having the window down slightly will only cause a small drop in temperature inside the car โ there is no safe way to leave a child in an unattended vehicle.
* The temperature inside a closed vehicle will be slightly higher if the car is dark in colour and if the car has large amounts of glass.

Cassie Sainsbury has broken her silence about her arrest in Colombia on drug charges, claiming to have evidence on her mobile phone that proves she is innocent.
In an exclusive interview with 60 Minutes, 22-year-old Sainsbury claimed she had received death threats against her family if she did not transport drugs out of Columbia.
โI was told my family and partner would be killed,โ she told reporter Liam Bartlett.
Sainsbury explained a man named โAngeloโ โ who reportedly packed her suitcase โ sent her threatening photographs of her family through Whatsapp. However, the Australian cannot remember the password to unlock her phone and retrieve the evidence.
โIf I knew the password โ and Iโve told my lawyer โ Iโd give it,โ she said. โBut thatโs all it is. If I canโt remember Iโve got nothing to give them.โ
The South Australian has spent the past five months at El Buen Pastor womenโs prison after she was found with 5.8 kilograms of cocaine in her suitcase at Bogotaโs El Dorado International Airport.
Sainsbury told 60 Minutes that she was initially led to believe she would be carrying documents, rather than drugs from Columbia, for the price of $10,000.
She claimed she met Angelo in Bogota, who then told her she would be carrying drugs.
โI started saying, โI donโt want any part of thisโ because I didnโt come here to do anything illegal, I didnโt come here to risk my life,โ she said.
According to The Australian, Sainsbury faces a minimum of 21 years in prison. She will face court on Tuesday.

A rising Australian soccer player was killed in a hit-and-run incident in Sydneyโs southwest suburb of Milperra yesterday.
Police have been on the lookout for the driver of the utility vehicle involved but are yet to confirm who was responsible for the death of the young woman.
Family and friends said 19-year-old Natasha Gadd was โfun-lovingโ but also hardworking and focused.
According toThe Daily Telegraph, the talented teen had just been selected as a goal-keeper in St George Football Clubโs premier league side and was working two jobs to save enough money to travel to Thailand.
The deceased teenโs mother Charmain Gadd broke down as she described Natasha as a โgentle giantโ and pleaded for the driver to come forward.
โSo much potential is now taken away because someone was doing the wrong thing and hit her,โ she told the newspaper.
โMy baby is never coming home.โ
Gadd was hit on Henry Lawson Drive, Milperra, just after 4.30am after getting off a bus from the city, where she had been celebrating a friendโs birthday.
The young woman was walking the short distance home with friends, who witnessed the horrific incident as the ute hit Natasha and did not stop.
Police told multiple news sources that it was believed Gadd was struck by an older model white Toyota utility with a refrigeration unit in the rear tray.
Authorities also confirmed the vehicle may โhave lost a side mirror as a result of the collisionโ.
โWe have appealed for witnesses to come forward after a pedestrian was killed and the vehicle involved failed to stop,โ a police spokesman said.
โThe vehicle left the crash scene and was last seen travelling south on Henry Lawson Drive.โ

Over the weekend, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made their first public appearance together after almost a year of publicly dating.

On September 14, 4-year-old Yanelly โNellyโ Zoller reached into her grandmotherโs handbag to look for candy.
But the little girl from Florida accidentally pulled the trigger of a gun in the purse and fatally shot herself.
Nellyโs father, 22-year-old Shane Zoller, recounted the devastating experience in an interview with the The Tampa Bay Times. His daughter had been staying with her grandparents, Michael and Christie Zoller at the time.
โI was driving to pick her up with her bathing suit in my car to take her to the splash pads,โ Zollerโs said.
โWhen I pulled up, thatโs when I saw all the police lights.โ
He added: โShe just wanted some damn candyโ.

One of Americaโs most celebrated event planners, Fitzgeraldโs organic approach sets the tone for an exquisite, ethereal wedding.
โGo with your gut when choosing your planner โ this is someone you need to get along with, and really trust. How many weddings have they done, how long have they been in business, whatโs their style like on the actual day? This is a saturated industry and thereโs no barrier to entry so you want to make sure the investment youโre making in someone is going to pay off for whatever your goals are. More to the point, is this someone you feel sure can help in a crisis? Iโve planned weddings that have been struck by hurricanes and earthquakes โ as a planner, you have to be calm and confident, even in the face of a natural disaster!โ
โIโm seeing less sparkles, sequins and saturated tones, and more of a fine art style that is influenced by film photography: a lot more muted colour, pastels and an organic feel. Over the past few years there has been a lot of blush and gold, and now Iโm seeing a lot of blues. The direction is definitely less harshly feminine and incorporating some more typically masculine elements.โ
โWhen Iโm working with my clients my biggest goal is to tell their story โ not just recreate something pretty from Pinterest. It doesnโt have to be kitschy or too cute but a sentimental detail that someoneโs going to notice, thatโs what makes a wedding stand out for me. That and being an amazing, fun time that makes the guest feel like theyโre honoured participants in this special day.โ
Meet the man setting trends when it comes to romantic-yet-modern wedding photography: Villaโs work epitomises the fine art feel we love.
โWhatever style of photography you go for, there are some guaranteed ways to look better in your photos. Most people are nervous when thereโs a camera in their face, and wedding days can put people on edge. The thing I notice most with brides is that their shoulders go very high and tense, particularly until the ceremony, while chins often go up really high or really low. If they have champagne, I might nudge it a little closer โ because it helps! I make sure they know to relax their shoulders, and I tell them to throw them back a little. Then, putting one leg forward and bending that front knee a little really helps to shape the body, versus just standing normally. It works with most people.โ
โScheduling an engagement session with your photographer is key to getting comfortable in front of the camera and gives the photographer a chance to work out your best angles ahead of the wedding so on the day itโs seamless. But if for some reason you canโt, consider having them take photos before and during the rehearsal dinner, or even just go for a coffee to talk about the wedding. Those occasions give me a chance to look at mannerisms, faces and profiles. I ask about what sides of their face they like, which side of the groom they prefer to stand on โ itโs really important to talk about that stuff beforehand. If youโre meeting your photographer for the first time at the wedding, thatโs a problem.โ
โYou need to know what look you want from your photos before you pick your photographer. Film photography is the go-to style for the romantic bride, with the over-exposed look and the pastel feel, whereas digital is more crisp and saturated in color. Whether your photographer uses film or digital will absolutely dictate the final look and feel. Something else to consider is how your wedding will work for the particular photographer: is there a lot of activity at sunset, and night time? Then you need a photographer who can handle low-light situations. Itโs important to hire someone who you feel confident is going to do their research about things like the timing of the day, where you have your ceremony, if youโre planning to be in the sun or shade and when the sunset is. It is really important your photographer has a handle on that โ donโt be afraid to ask.โ
Heโs the Kardashiansโ go-to floral stylist, and Sophia Vergara recently tasked him with decking out her wedding to Joe Manganiello in extravagant style.
โDonโt get caught up in the trends. These days, youโre over-saturated with ideas from Instagram and Pinterest: the most important thing is to stick to a theme and a colour and then go from there. I always stick to what I call The Leatham Three: clean, simple and chic. Never use more than three varieties of flowers and never use more than three types of monochromatic colors together when youโre mixing them in the room. Instead, Iโm all about creating interest by colour-blocking your day: keeping the ceremony florals one hue, cocktail hour another and dinner a different colour again. You want to create excitement at every stage and venue, so that people are anticipating whatโs next.โ
โMost brides think more about the flowers at the ceremony, but I tell them to spend their money on the flowers at dinner. Youโre at the ceremony for 20 minutes, and at dinner for hours! I always mix high centrepieces with low to create depth to the room. I love the trend of taking flowers off the table and hanging from ceilings โ I just made floral chandeliers [for Kris Jennerโs 60th birthday party]. And any room with more than 12 tables should always have more than three different looks to create movement so the space doesnโt look static and boring. Remember, if youโre watching your budget, youโll get more for your money in summer, because bigger-headed flowers are in season then, so you need less to have an impact.โ
โFinally, choose someone you genuinely enjoy spending time with. My rule in life is to always plan, work with, and hire people who you have fun with.โ
Oprah, Beyonce and Madonna have this caterer and plannerโknown for her creative approach to cordon bleu cookingโon speed dial.
โDonโt get railroaded into food you donโt like โ you should decide, not your planner or the guests. Iโm always asked: what does everyone like to eat? Well, it doesnโt exist.โ
โChoose a menu that speaks to you and your partner, and donโt worry about the guests. Keep it close to your hearts and your palates. Brides are much more interested in food and they want to reflect what they like, so theyโre taking more risks and that makes it more personal. Itโs part of a bigger trend towards very personal weddings, while moving away from the super casual feel. That means setting the stage with the first and main course, and keeping the dessert fun, when youโre up and dancing โ so that carefree feeling brides are looking for is captured as an after-party vibe.โ
โThe first course needs to be particularly beautiful, because its message is: this meal is going to be different. And let me just say, thereโs nothing exciting about a salad. The main course should be filling, homey and delicious, because by that point people are really hungry: theyโve been drinking, and havenโt been home in six hours. I always end with a visually-exciting dessert thatโs portable โ with drinks and desserts, you can get a bit wacky. I recently did a beautiful, sophisticated take on the Jello shot, with granita. Specialty drinks are always popular.โ
โTalk to your caterer about the flow of the event, thatโs the most important thing โ how you want it to feel, rather than the specifics. What do you want people to say when they leave at the end of the night? Theyโve never danced so much in their life, or they loved eating in the open air? That can help the caterer understand what youโre trying to accomplish and how the food can help achieve that.โ

Apparently, age proved an issue showing the cracks where they had โnothing in commonโ. The pair called it quits after a year.
Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble
Kris: 61
Corey: 36
=25 years apart!
Some say it is more โbusinessโ than romance, but three years on they โsometimes seem fine and sometimes not greatโ an unknown source revealed to People. Sounds like true love to us.
Sam Taylor-Johnson and Aaron Taylor-Johnson
Sam: 50
Aaron: 26
=24 years apart!
The couple to smash the chit-chat that 24 years is to big-a difference, their love shows it going from strength to strength, even after having two children together. They fell in love back in 2008, and at the time Sam was 42 and Aaron just 18! We love these two breaking the status quo. *All the feels*
Halle Berry and Alex Da Kid
Halle:
Alex:
=16 years apart!
A pretty new pairing on the relationship spectrum, but as smitten as ever. The London music producer recently referred to Berry as โmy balanceโ on his insta post confirming the relationship.
Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher
(When they met):
Demi: 41
Ashton: 25
=16 years apart!
They kept tongues wagging for years, and for so long were the ultimate cougar + toy boy match. But sadly six years later, after much speculation, scandals and cheating rumours, the pair finalised their divorce.
Tina Turner and Erwin Bach
Tina: 73
Erwin: 57

Whatโs love got to do with it? Well everything, obviously! Long-term lovers were together for 27 years before tying the knot in 2013 and have been super loved up since.
Deborra-Lee Furness and Hugh Jackman
Deborra: 62
Hugh: 48
= 12 years apart!
One of our favourite Aussie couples, the actors have been married since 1996 and share two children together, Oscar and Ava. And Hughโs not one to hold back with the lovey-dovey remarks even after all this time, referring to Furness as: โThe greatest woman aliveโ he told the Daily Mail.
Cheryl Cole and Liam Payne
Cheryl: 34
Liam: 24

Janet Jackson and Wissam Al Mana
Janet: 51
Wissam: 41

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon
Mariah:35
Nick: 25 (when met)
=10 years apart
The Butterfly Queen and Nick Cannon were dubbed one of the weirdest couples ever, it being no secret that Mariah is one of the biggest divas of all time. And maybe that was part of the reason for their split in 2014, after having twins Moroccan and Monroe together in 2011.
Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer
Jen: 39
John: 31
=8 years apart
It all began back in 2008, and in the space of their fiery romance, this couple broke up numerous times. Sometimes we thought it was because they were at โdifferent places in their livesโ, but apparently, Aniston ended the relationship due to Mayer being โobsessed with twitterโ she told The Telegraph. But despite the split, Mayerโs cathartic process with closure produced his song โShadow Daysโ which is apparently a โFarewell Letterโ to the actress.
Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake
Cam:34
JT: 28

They brought sexyback as an item but four years was all the airtime that this pair got. They were another instance of the backlash of โthe age differenceโ but they publicly claimed the publicity never bothered them.
Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling
Eva: 43
Ryan: 36
=7 years apart
It was a โwhere did they come fromโ moment when Mendes and Gosling announced their relationship in 2011. Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel
Miranda: 34
Evan: 27

Most 16-year-olds get a driverโs license for their birthday. Kaia Gerber got a suite at the Plaza and the green light to walk the New York Fashion Week runways. Now that Gerber has reached catwalk eligibility age, the fledgeling supermodel has taken fashion month by storm, following in the footsteps of mum Cindy Crawford, friend Kendall Jenner, and โbig sisโ Karlie Kloss.
In the past year alone, sheโs graced the cover of some of the worldโs biggest magazines, as well as becoming the face of a Marc Jacobs fragrance.
The moment Gerber walked out in her very first show for Calvin Klein she became the model to see. Gerber spent the rest of New York Fashion Week walking (and opening!) for Alexander Wang, Marc Jacobs, and even Rihanna.

Commercial surrogacy is a booming industry. Indiaโs market alone is worth $2.5 billion a year and itโs estimated Australians make up at least 40 percent of the clientele. Only altruistic surrogacy (no financial incentives can change hands) is allowed inside Australia, so many couples are seeking solutions elsewhere.
One of these families was refused legal parent status by The Family Court last week.
Mr and Mrs Benieres โ a pseudonym โ used his sperm, an anonymous donor egg, and an Indian surrogate to give birth to a daughter in 2014. Their three-year-old was granted Australian citizenship and a passport because of her biological father, the couple told The Australian.
However, the only legal parent who will be recognised is the Indian surrogate mother, as commercial surrogacy is not legal in Victoria. The surrogate canโt accept legal parentage under Indian law, nor does she want it for a child she shares no genetics with. The courtโs decision leaves the little girl parentless.
โI donโt know how you can say that it is in the best interests of the child to say the people who brought her into this world are not her parents,โ Mrs Benieres has said.
This is yet another surrogacy case that reveals how murky and tenuous current legislation is.
Families Through Surrogacyโs Sam Everingham estimates there are another 2000 cases like it: children in Australia, born via commercial surrogacy, who are left without legal parents.
And this isnโt a new development. The Family Law Council warned the government in 2013 that many young children born in similar situations appeared to be โgrowing up in Australia without any secure legal relationship to the parents who are raising them.โ
Tying up the loose ends of legislation is one answer. A federal law could be introduced to allow a transfer of parentage from surrogate mothers to intended parents, provided thereโs evidence of consent from both parties. But this would fly in the face of NSW, Queensland and the ACT laws that bar commercial surrogacy to prevent exploitation of less privileged Australian women.
โThey are not animals and their job is not to bear children for money because other people want children,โ Pru Goward, NSW Family and Community Services Minister said about a surrogacy bill that was introduced in 2010: โWomen are not cows.โ
Senior lecturer at Griffith University Denise Cuthbert and Patricia Fronek, Dean at RMIT University, believe accepting commercial surrogacy only shifts the site of exploitation: โThe very low rates of altruistic surrogacy indicate that unless motivated by a deep personal connection between surrogate and commissioning parents, most Australian women consider the risks, inconvenience and potential emotional and health complications of surrogacy to be too much.
Educated, skilled and employed women are unlikely to subject themselves to the demands and risks of pregnancy to fulfil the aspirations of others. This leaves the likely Australian candidates for commercial arrangements as less educated women with fewer skills and employment prospects. While Australia is not a developing country, differences in wealth and power create a dynamic ripe for exploitation.โ
Family Court Chief Justice Diana Bryant, one of the judges involved Mr and Mrs Berniersโ full-court decision, is pushing for tougher regulations. She suggests refusing citizenship to babies born via unethical commercial surrogate arrangements to deter couples from buying surrogates overseas.
As for Australiaโs legal orphans โ the children already here โ itโs unclear how this will be solved for them.

If you thought the only side effect of chowing down on Tim Tams (or anything else for that matter) late at night was the extra calories it added to your daily intake, think again.
After studying mice with abnormal eating habits, the researchers found the biological clock of the miceโs skin was disrupted. This disruption led to the weakening of an enzyme that protects the skin against harmful UV rays, which then resulted in an increased likelihood of the skin sustaining more sun damage.
For the study, mice were split into two groups โ one that was given food during the day (which isnโt a normal feeding time as the animals are nocturnal) and the other was given food at night. Researchers found the mice that were fed during daylight hours sustained higher levels of skin damage when exposed to UVB light than the group of mice that were fed at normal times.
This is believed to be the case because the xeroderma pigmentosum group A (XPA) enzyme (an enzyme that works to repair UV-damaged skin) was disturbed, which consequently meant it functioned less efficiently.
In order to find out whether disrupted eating patterns can affect humans like they do mice, we spoke to hop & cotton founder and Cosmetic Chemist, Ee Ting Ng.
According to Ng, we are likely to experience this enzyme weakening because the enzyme XPA is present in both humans and mice. The reason why the enzyme is weakened in the first place is because โthe skinโs biological clock is regulated by signals such as light, temperature and feeding. Snacking late at night introduces stimuli that disrupt our normal sleep/wake cycle. This subsequently causes skin activities to occur during times they typically shouldnโt,โ explains Ng.
Additionally, Ng revealed, โthe XPA enzyme is normally active when we are asleep. A โdisruptionโ such as snacking can reduce its activity, which should otherwise be high. This reduction in enzyme activity attenuates skinโs ability to repair UV damage.โ
Ultimately, what we can take from this is itโs best to eat your last meal early in the evening, โnear the time when the sun sets as diminishing light levels send a โnight-is-hereโ signal to the master biological clock, turning on functions that are programmed to occur at night,โ says Ng. Thatโs in addition to making sure you apply SPF every morning regardless of whether or not youโve had a snack fest the night before.

With the weather finally heating up, itโs with some trepidation that we shed our winter layers and bare our skin to the world. And while we donโt for a minute subscribe to the idea of a โbeach bodyโ (if you have a body, and itโs at the beach, then there you have it), this is all about little indulgences to make you feel even better about the skin youโre in.
Whether youโre treating yourself or spoiling someone rotten, we consider these essential luxuries for the summer months ahead.
1/ Book in for a body scrub
News just in: body scrubs are the new massage. Why? Theyโre two-in-one: you get the massage, plus dead skin cells are sloughed off with deliciously scented oils (usually mixed with Himalayan salt crystals or sugar) to reveal softer, brighter skin. Pure bliss.
2/ Find a moisturiser thatโs a pleasure to use
Hands up who forgets to moisturise daily? You never will again with the MOR Belladonna Emporium Body Butter. With Shea butter as its key ingredient, plus Vitamin A, E and C and olive and avocado oils, itโs deliciously rich without being greasy, and free from parabens and sulphates so you can slather it on without any stress. Itโs also divinely scented with white narcissus, Moroccan rose, pink tulips, Meyer lemon, vanilla, musk and sandalwood.
MOR Belladonna Emporium Body Butter
3/ Highlight strategically
Strobing isnโt just for your cheekbones: clever work with highlighter can work wonders all over. Dust illuminating powder over your collarbone and shoulders for an all-over glow, and use a strobe stick down your (moisturised) legs to lengthen and add shine.
4/ Switch up your scent
Heavily spiced scents have no place on a balmy summerโs night โ instead, look for a fragrance with white florals (think jasmine, orange blossom or gardenia), fruity accords or marine notes.
5/ Book a pedicure
In our minds, itโs always worth leaving the mani/pedi business to professionals โ the result always looks better, lasts longer and you get to feel pampered in the process. Ask for one of the seasonโs new neutrals: navy blue, graphite, ruby red or almond beige. For more ideas, check out Gifts Australia.

Sam Cochraneโs man bun was a hot topic on the first episode of Sophie Monkโs series of The Bachelorette, but it seems as though itโs a newer style for the suitor.
The man-bun versus clean cut look was a hot conversation during the premiere, with Sam and multiple other contestants competing in a โwalk-offโ between the two different styles.
However, photos of the 31-year-old before thecontroversialbun have been unearthed, showing Sam looking almost unrecognisable.
In the images from his Myspace page, the voiceover artist is sporting a much shorter, darker hairstyle.

Although Monk did note that she wasnโt a fan of the popular man-bun during her first meeting with Sam, she did give hm the special Double Delight Rose, making him an early favourite.

Weโve all read our fair share of Game of Thrones theories over the past six years, but trust us, this is the big one.
Everyone seems pretty sure that Daenerys Targaryen and her nephew/lover Jon Snow will sit on the Iron Throne by the end of season eight. This is โthe song of โice and fireโ after all, which always seemed a little too obvious.
Digital Spyhas uncovered an amazing theory that means Sansa Stark and Tyrion Lannister will eventually rule the Seven Kingdoms โ and itโs based on real life history.
True fans of Game of Thrones know the show/books are based on the English War of the Roses between the Lancasters (*cough* Lannisters) and the Yorks (aka Starks). The two houses feuded for the English throne, swapping monarchs in and out for years until they merged in marriage to create the Tudors. So far, Westerosโ line of succession has followed that history:
1. Robert Baratheon is clearly Henry VIII, a once handsome king who put on a lot of weight โ a womaniser who eventually suffered from a festering wound. 2. Joffrey stands in for Henry VIIIโs successor, a blond young boy who was rumoured to have been poisoned. After him came Tommen/Edward VI, a strawberry blonde. 3. Cersei stands in for Queen Mary I, better known as murderous โBloody Mary.โ
(Credit: HBO/Helen Sloan)
Following this pattern, the next in line is a stand-in for Elizabeth I, who has more in common with Sansa than her red hair. We call Elizabethโs reign the golden age because she ruled with wise counsel and fairness. Sound familiar?
Honestly, we wouldnโt mind if Sansa takes the Throne, sheโs certainly endured enough to have earned it.
And Tyrion? He fits in because the War of the Roses ended by combining the warring houses โ and the pair are kinda-sorta-could be still married.
Between Sansa ruling the North in Jonโs absence and Tyrionโs deep concern for a royal heir, weโre gonna go ahead and call this one a good bet (sorry Danny).

Given her status as Instagramโs highest paid beauty influencer, Huda Kattan no doubt has a tidy disposable income. And if her latest interview with Elle US is to be believed, sheโs spending every last cent of it on more โ and more โ make-up.
โI can spend a minimum of $4000 a month on makeup,โ the Dubai-based beauty vlogger casually drops into conversation. โPeople get surprised because theyโre like, โwhy do you still buy products?โ There are so many indie brands like Dose of Colour, Morphe and Lime Crime that I like to buy, or Iโm impulsively shopping on Sephora or Net-A-Porter. I do spend a lot on beauty products.โ
You donโt say.

With 21.5 million followers to her name at time of writing, Kattan is capable of raking in a staggering ยฃ14,000 (thatโs a tidy $AUD23,700) per Instagram post. So what exactly is she spending it on?
Kattan tells Elle US that she wears Ren Rose Oil, Skinceuticals Skin Firming Cream, AOX+ Eye Gel and Benefit Ka-Brow! daily. As well as buying up big on indie brands routinely, when in America she heads to Macyโs and will โget products from Lorac and Oribe and R+CO.โ
โWe still donโt have everything [in Dubai] when it comes to beauty [so] Iโll pop into Sally Beauty Supply and buy small little pro items like hair ties, hair clips and curling irons, loads of brushes, and things that I need consistently,โ she says. โI left LA with three luggages and I came back with 15 or 16. Itโs a lot. I had three bags just filled with make-up and haircare products.โ

The Kardashianโs West Hollywood boutique is currently under lockdown after a woman entered the store with a gun this morning.
Law enforcementconfirms to TMZ, โthe woman showed up Thursday at 11:19 AM (west coast time), and pointed a revolver at an employee.โ
According toreportsthe woman was shouting, โFree Cubaโ and โStay away from Cuba.โ
Police arrived at the scene shortly after. In a bizarretwistthe woman returned to the scene some hours later and left a machete. Law enforcement toldTMZthat witnesses saw her jump into a taxi and leave.
It has been confirmed that none of the Kardashian family were at the store at the time, they are yet to comment on the incident. Kourtney, Khloe, Kim and Kanye visited Havana, Cuba in May 2016 filming two episodes of Keeping Up With The Kardashians there and sharing a series of photos from the vacation to their social media channels. Cuba only recently started welcoming visitors from the U.S.
At the time the trip sparked political controversy with South Florida representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen releasing a statement to People:

This year, pregnant Michigan woman Carrie DeKlyen faced the heartbreaking decision of whether to undergo experimental treatment for brain cancer, or to save her unborn daughterโs life by forgoing treatment altogether.
37-year-old Carrie was diagnosed with glioblastomaโa tumour that can affect the brain and spinal cordโin April. When she and her husband Nick learnt she was pregnant with her sixth child, doctors advised that they would need to terminate the pregnancy in order to be accepted into a clinical trial for experimental treatment. But Carrie chose to keep her unborn child and sacrifice her own life.
โThe doctor said if you donโt terminate this baby, Carrie, you will die,โ Nick told PEOPLE in August. โBut it was Carrieโs decision and I said, โWhat do you want to do?โ She said, โWeโre keeping it.โโ
According to local media outlet MLive Michigan, Carrie gave birth to a daughter named Life Lynn DeKlye on September 6, 24 weeks early.
After Life Lynn was born, Carrie remained in hospital and was taken off life support. She died the next day.
Now, husband Nick has been dealt another devastating blow. The father announced on the Facebook page โCure 4 Carrieโ that Life Lynn had passed away on Wednesday.
โIt is with great sadness and a absolutely broken heart that I tell you Life Lynn passed away last night,โ he wrote. โCarrie is now rocking her baby girl. I have no explanation of why this happened, but I do know Jesus loves us and someday we will know why. The grief we feel is almost unbearable, please be praying for our family.โ
Nickโs sister, Sonya Nelson, told USA Today that she had broken the news to Life Lynnโs sibilings.
โI told Lelia โ who is 4 โ Life was really sick, and she had to go live with Jesus and with Mommy,โ she recounted. โAnd she said, โShe had to go, too? Why?'โ
Nick also told the familyโs supporters on Facebook that Life Lynn would be buried with her mother.
A GoFundMe page has been set up for the DeKlyen family. You can donate here.

27-year-old Allecha, who was based in Wagga Wagga, was last seen on August 10 at Coolamon. According to 7 News, Allecha has not posted on social media or accessed her bank accounts since her disappearance.
โIf someone knows something โ and someone does โ just let us know, just tell us, just anonymously call triple-0, CrimeStoppers, anything โ just tell us anything,โ Tammara said.
According to The Daily Telegraph, a strike force is treating Allechaโs disappearance as โout of characterโ.
Detectives seized a green and silver Subaru Outback that they believe she was travelling in the day she went missing, and police have searched bushland at Lester State Forest for any leads.

Though sheโs been open about her pregnancy struggles in the past, Kim Kardashian has never before mentioned she almost suffered a miscarriage with her daughter North.
But when she found out she was randomly pregnant, she recalls freaking out about the health implications.
โI remember calling [Kanye] and he thought a family member of mine had died, I was so hysterical. I thought my life was over, that I was pregnant and [it was going to be] so hard for me.โ
Later, the clip shows unaired footage of Kim suffering โdebilitatingโ stomach pain while pregnant.
โAt one point I thought I had a miscarriage, I was pretty certain about it,โ she reveals.
She flew home from Miami on Thanksgiving day to see her doctor, who told her: โthereโs no heartbeat. You had a miscarriage.โ
He urged to her to come in the next day for a private consultation, and miraculously, they discovered a heartbeat. โI was like โoh my god!โ It was an such an emotional Thanksgiving.โ At the time, her sister Kourtney was the only one who knew what was going on.
Though her pregnancies were difficult, thankfully Kim was able to deliver two healthy babies โ North, 5, and Saint, 1 โ and is reportedly currently expecting her third child via surrogate.

Despite the overload of press attention sheโs received since becoming a Duchess, many of Kate Middletonโs ways remain a mystery to us: what makes her hair so irritatingly perfect? Why did she choose William over Harry? And how, oh how, does she walk around in those LK Bennett heels all day without wincing even once?
Today, at least one of those mysteries has been solved โ and itโs the one we can all benefit the most from. A Vanity Fair article has been unearthed in which sources reveal the Duchess puts Alice Bow leather insoles in all her heels.
Not that Alice Bow are letting their royal secret slip: โThere has been talk of the Duchess wearing the insoles, but we cannot comment either way,โ an Alice Bow spokesperson has said. โWe have seen a massive surge in site visits, however.โ

For the record, these arenโt just any insoles: made in London from Italian leather, they come in a range of colours, including metallic, to match any shoe, and feature high quality padding to cushion the balls of your feet while wearing heels.
Eager to give your feet the Kate Middleton treatment? Alice Bow ships worldwide.

September has been a magical month for Prosecco lovers. Last week came the news that Aldi is launching a 3 litre bottle of Proseccoโyes, that amounts to 24 glassesโjust in time for Christmas.
Our latest boozy update: a simple DIY kit has been launched that literally turns water into wine.
Called MySecco, the kit allows users to create a single bottle of crisp sparkling wine in 14 days. The alcohol alchemy works by adding warm water and the included yeast and syrup sachets into a bottle and giving it a swirl.
While weโre unsure of how the taste stacks up to a bottle of bubbly made by the professionals, the product description promises a โfresh and crisp flavour with delicate citrus notesโ.
You can purchase MySecco through Argos and Fireboxโalthough it doesnโt ship to Australia yet.

Australiaโs own appointed Prime Minister, Sophie Monk, enjoyed her first single date of the season last night and partook in the standard photo-shoot that pits all the men against one another. Episode Two was quite the thrill!
We had two people afraid of heights forced to walk on something high, we had the first tongue-filled kiss and we had a bare ass on television in the 7:30 time slot, people!
Here are the best reactions to last nightโs ep.
Imagine thinking "I've been with only men for a week" was a justifiable reason for being a lecherous dick? #BacheloretteAU

While the most impressive part of Jeremy Scottโs Spring Summer 2018 presentation was undoubtedly the huge bouquet of flowers dressed his supermodel lineup in, people couldnโt get past just how much Gigi Hadid looked like Game of Thronesโ Cersei Lannister.
Wearing a short, blonde wig, the 22-year-old closed Moschinoโs show with dark, lined lips and full brows, with people quickly drawing comparisons to the evil character Cersei.
โIsnโt she Cersei Lannister?โ one person wrote on the fashion houseโs Instagram. โCersei Lannister looks so good here!โ another joked.
Thank you to Moschino for confirming that Gigi is not just the queen of the runway, sheโs the queen of Westeros too.

Audrina Patridge has announced she is divorcing her husband of ten months, Corey Bohan. The duo share 1-year-old daughter Kirra Max.
โAudrinaโs number one concern is for her daughter and she asks for privacy at this time,โ her rep tellsPEOPLE.
The former Hills star filed for a domestic violence restraining order on Wednesday, after receiving a temporary restraining order on Monday.
According to court documents, the star is seeking protection for both herself and her daughter.
She states that Bohan โhas become increasingly possessive, angry, agitated and jealousโ of her work and travel schedule.
โHis aggressive behavior usually escalates whenever I am paying attention to work obligations, rather than to him. When we are apart, he texts me obsessively, rattling my nerves and making it difficult for me to concentrate on my work commitments,โ she states.
โHis harassing behavior has recently become so extreme that I physically separated from him a few weeks ago,โ she added. โI am fearful of [Bohan]โs temper because he cannot control his swearing and personal attacks on me, even when in the presence of our young daughter. Furthermore, as set forth below, his aggressiveness last month became so extreme he became physically violent.โ
โThese problems have existed their entire relationship,โ a source close to the couple told PEOPLE. โThey broke up and got back together, and she really thought things would be different when they got married, but sheโs realized things had to change before it got even worse, and she had to get her and her daughter out of the situation.โ

Think youโve heard it all before when it comes to skincare? The latest research and innovation is about to give you a whole new beauty perspective.
1: Sprinkle It With Turmeric
Once relegated to the depths of the spice cupboard, turmeric is now enjoying a moment as a fully fledged superfood. New research from Clarins looked into the language of skin cells (called lipid microdomains) and discovered the way they make exchanges, or โexpressโ themselves, within their environment played a major role in skin ageing. Clarins scientists explained that a bioactive ingredient in turmeric (called tumerone) helped skin cells produce elements to make the skin become plumper, firmer and younger-looking.
It turns out cholesterol is not such a dirty word after all โ at least when it comes to skincare. In fact, as Dr Dendy Engelman, Elizabeth Arden consulting dermatologist, explains: โCholesterol is an important part of your skinโs lipid layer, making up about 25 per cent of the lipids in the outermost layer of the skin.โ Together with ceramides and fatty acids, it supports the skin cells and holds them together for firmness. But, hereโs the catch: these lipids decrease dramatically with age. However Dr Dendy explains that this is no solo act โ ceramides, cholesterol and fatty acids are actually more effective working together than individually.
Kiehlโs Turmeric and Cranberry Seed Energizing Radiance Masque $39
Clarins Double Serum Complete Age Control Concentrate $95
Elizabeth Arden Advanced Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Serum $140
3: Gently Does It
Itโs easy to get overzealous with our skin, especially when there are new products popping up each week promising better skin. But as Dr Phil Tong โ skin researcher, Deanโs Fellow in Dermatology and clinical lecturer at the University of Sydney โ explains, our love of trying everything may actually be creating skin issues that didnโt otherwise exist, such as sensitivity. โThis is in part related to the overwhelming number of products women are using,โ he says. โUltimately, over-scrubbing, cleansing and toning can strip away the natural oils of our skin.โ And, while he acknowledges that exfoliation is important to clean away dead skin cells, the key message is not to get too carried away.
Once upon a time we were just born with sensitive skin, but thanks to a whole host of environmental aggressors, including an increase in pollution, issues may exacerbate later in life. Dr Vรฉronique Delvigne, scientific director at Lancรดme, explains: โOur international studies performed on more than 3000 women worldwide show that more than one out of two women declare suffering from sensitivity peaks,โ she says, also noting that Google searches for the term โskin reactionโ have risen by 27 per cent in the last five years. When the skin is under environmental attack like this, it leads to a whole circus of issues, including redness, inflammation, plus the biggie โ premature ageing. Itโs no surprise then, that anti-pollution and damage repair are two big beauty buzzwords right now. Lancรดmeโs answer to this is the new Advanced Gรฉnifique Sensitive, a serum that works double-time to โextinguishโ the inflammation by fighting oxidation, then soothing and strengthening the skin with a combination of probiotics.
โOur gut is where 70 per cent of the immune system lies, where we metabolise hormones, where we make detoxifying enzymes and were we make nutrients. So much of what goes on in our digestive system can impact our skin,โ says Carla Oates, founder and CEO of The Beauty Chef. So it makes sense that we should be treating our skin from the inside out. Oates was one of the trailblazers in the ingestible beauty category, after discovering the many benefits that consuming probiotics and prebiotics had on the skin. And, with studies also showing the link between gut health and softer, plumper skin (thanks to a better fatty acid profile), thereโs no better reason to have a gut full.
Just like customisation gives us better clothes and shoes, it also gives us better skin. As Emma Hobson, education manager at The International Dermal Institute and Dermalogica, says, โnot every part of your facial skin has the same concerns, so having personalised skincare means you can patchwork and tailor it to match the changing โmoods of your skinโ on a day-to-day basis.โ So, ditch the one-size-fits-all routine, and instead start treating the parts of your skin with what they need. Emma recommends using a combination of serums and lotions, such as hydrating boosters around the eyes and mouth to combat fine feather lines, combined with a spot treatment product on the chin or T-zone (if youโre susceptible to breakouts), and using soothing or calming products only on the areas prone to redness, such as the cheeks and nose.
Expecting more is part of our DNA these days, and itโs also definitely true of our make-up products. โHybrid beauty products are still on the rise, and the most recent launch is serum foundations, which deliver coverage and the benefits of a hydrating serum in one,โ says make-up expert Napoleon Perdis. He adds, โskincare is so important to ensure a flawless base, and I have carefully selected innovative ingredients which offer both short-term and long-term benefits to counteract skin concerns.โ This includes quirky ingredients such as snail mucus in his BBB cream, added for its super-hydrating properties.
IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream with SPF 50+ $58
Napoleon Perdis Personal Trainer Serum Foundation $69
8: Brighten Up
Hyperpigmentation is one of the biggest skin concerns in Australia. Because of this, loads of research is going into ingredients that lighten spots, such as soy and niacinamide, which Dr Tong says โnot only have the ability to de-pigment dark spots, but soy also protects against UV-induced pigmentationโ. Then, of course, thereโs vitamin C, which is now being delivered in even more effective ways, like the Clinique Fresh Pressed range. Cliniqueโs national education manager, Melissa Elvin-Jensen explains, โthe pure vitamin C in this product comes in a powder format and is activated using a soothing emulsion that makes pH levels of the skin just right for the acceptance of that magic ingredient.โ

There are few things most women dread more than a pap smear โ as bearable as they always are once you actually go and get one โ so this news will come as a very pleasant surprise: soon we wonโt have to bother.
Of course, thereโs a catch: pap smears are being phased out in place of HPV tests, which as far as the patient is concerned, will involve pretty much the same process. But the new HPV tests come with one major drawcard: instead of being tested every two years, weโll now only need testing every five.
That sound you hear? Itโs women everywhere breathing a sigh of relief.
The new test will also only be needed once a woman turns 25 (sexually active women currently need to start having pap smears once they turn 18) and self-tests will be available for some women, the ABC reports.
The new test is currently slated to come into effect this December and will improve early detection of cervical cancer.
โThe traditional pap smear test collects cells from the cervix to test if these are abnormal or not,โ Joe Tooma, Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation chief executive, told the ABC. โThe new Cervical Screening Test will go the step before this and test for the presence of Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) rather than testing for abnormal cells, which may not happen until many years after initial infection with HPV.โ
HPV is responsible for approximately 99 per cent of cervical cancers. It will still be necessary for all women to have the test, even if youโve been vaccinated against HPV, as the vaccine doesnโt protect against all of the various different types.

A Texas woman allegedly shot her boyfriend while he was sleeping on August 16 and dismembered his body inside their home.
According to police, 30-year-old Cierra Sutton has been charged with the murder of 32 -year-old Steven Coleman, ABC7 reports.
Court documents allege Sutton fatally shot Coleman after an argument and that she dismembered his body with a machete at their apartment in Houston. She then allegedly left his remains in various dumpsters.
According to the New York Post, a torso was found in landfill four days after Coleman was reported missing, although police are still waiting for DNA confirmation of a match.
โWe donโt know definitely if it is our guy yet,โ Baytown police Lt. Steve Dorris said. โBut it is safe to say it is our suspicion.โ
Coleman filed a missing persons report on August 18, two days after her partner is believed to have died.
Her friend, Dominique Clark, spoke out about the horrific turn of events in an interview with Eyewitness News.
โDevil. Thatโs the mind of a bad spirit,โ Clark said. โThatโs not a normal mind. Thatโs not a mind of God. Thatโs not one of Godโs children.โ
Clark explained that the accused had been staying with Colemansโs family while they searched for him.
โShe played the role of an innocent person,โ Clark said. โShe played the role of an innocent person, and she played it to the fullest.โ

Start packing your scarf collection โ the three-bedroom Fitzroy house Dr Nina Proudman calls home in Offspring has been listed on Airbnb. And predictably, itโs already been inundated with requests from people looking to live out their Offspring fantasy lives.
The 1900s Victorian-style home sleeps six (there are two bedrooms in the main part of the house and one in a garden studio with ensuite) and is a stoneโs throw from many of the hit TV showโs other filming locations, including Nina Proudmanโs favourite cafรฉ.
In real life, the home is owned by interior designer Kali Cavanagh. โItโs amazing to be able to open up my home and share it with all kinds of people, now including fans of Offspring,โ she told Domain. โWhether theyโre wanting to experience what itโs like to live like Nina Proudman, to enjoy a curated space or simply explore the amazing cafes and restaurants in the Fitzroy community, itโs always a pleasure to share my home with new people.โ
Although the living areaโs walls are painted a Proudman-appropriate sage green on the show, in real life theyโre a liveable white. Throughout, the homeโs real-life styling is slightly less eclectic without Proudman and her daughterโs colourful paraphernalia โ but weโre getting serious Offspring vibes regardless. The Handmaidโs Tale cleaned up at the Emmys on Monday winning the award for Outstanding Drama, with the showโs lead Elisabeth Moss taking home the trophy for outstanding actress.
While you patiently await the showโs second season, youโll be pleased to know that Elisabeth is busy with another totally badass, totally Handmaidโs Tale-esque, movie.
Call Jane is a womenโs right drama directed by Simon Curtis (My Week With Marilyn and The Woman in Gold) and based on an underground abortion organization from the 1960s which was nicknamed the Jane Collective, before being called simply Jane.
According to Variety, Elisabeth will play the main character in the historical movie, and, while we donโt yet know her characterโs name, we do know that sheโs a married woman who seeks help from the illegal clinic when she becomes unexpectedly pregnant.
When we know more, youโll be the first to hear. Praise be.

From lush, green rice fields high in the mountains, to the sparkling turquoise waters off the coast, chances are Bali will have a spot thatโs just right for your wedding โ whatever youโre dreaming of.
Aside from the obvious charms of the regionโs natural beauty, Bali also ticks a lot of boxes as the location for a destination wedding. Itโs exotic โ offering you and your guests cultural experiences that only travel beyond Australiaโs borders can provide โ yet itโs also easily accessible, via multiple daily flights from the capitals, with most under six hours long.
There are few places in the world where itโs possible to have a five-star travel experience without the stiff, starchy treatment that so often accompanies high-end accommodation โ Bali is one of them. While service standards here are frequently exceptional, there is rarely any excessive formality or aloofness to go with it, making for an easy and relaxing stay.
It doesnโt matter if your dream wedding is a simple ceremony on the beach, or a grand-scale affair with hundreds of your nearest and dearest in attendance โ there will be a venue in Bali which fits the bill.
Read on as we explore all that Bali has to offer the discerning bride and groom in search of a seamless wedding ceremony, reception or honeymoon.
Finnโs, Semara Resort, Uluwatu
Perched high above the beach, Semaraโs Uluwatu property offers stylish suites with plunge pools, individual patio areas and garden or ocean views. If you want to take your stay up a notch, book one of the resortโs seven luxurious villas, each with its own generously sized swimming pool. Unwind at Finnโs Beach Club โ which is accessible by an electric inclinator, has a resident DJ, excellent cocktails and peaceful enough waters for stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking and snorkelling. Or, visit Body Temple spa for a massage or beauty treatment. For a more intimate experience, Semara also owns a smaller, boutique-style villa near Baliโs newest hotspot, Canggu. Sleeping 27 people, it can cater for weddings up to 150. (semararesorts.com)
With a range of packages covering everything from a simple sunset ceremony and Champagne toast, to a more elaborate event featuring live musicians, parasol-toting attendants and an hour-long massage for the bride and groom, your ceremony can be whatever you want it to be. The resort features more than a dozen possible locations for the celebrations, including beachfront lawns, a garden surrounded by lilyponds, or an air-conditioned ballroom. Best of all, time need not be an issue โ if you donโt want to wait, the wedding-planning team advises that just three monthsโ notice may be all thatโs required to pull together the wedding of your dreams. Planning a successful destination wedding hinges on having good contacts in your chosen location โ and the planners at Villa Botanica pride themselves on knowing the best in the business. In fact, they promise to ensure everything goes so smoothly, youโll be a โBridechillaโ by the time the big day comes around. There are two distinctly different venues available. Craving sunshine? Choose the Perfect Beach Wedding, with a reception in the stunning open-air pavilion. Or, travel further north to the Royal Maha Pita for Villa Botanicaโs โExquisite Weddingsโ. Originally built by the Balinese Royal family, this property is a palatial, carved-stone complex nestled in a hidden valley along the banks of the majestic Ayung River near Baliโs spiritual centre, Ubud. (botanicaweddings.com)
Whether you picture yourselves exchanging vows in a rustic, clifftop villa, a modern glass-walled chapel overlooking the Indian Ocean, or under a garden canopy overflowing with fragrant frangipani blossoms, thereโs a strong likelihood that one of Ayanaโs seven distinctive ceremony venues will live up to your imagination. The wedding planners here go to almost any lengths to ensure the day is exactly as you wish, with everything from deluxe couplesโ spa treatments, to a dove or balloon release, and even a horse-drawn carriage for you and your new spouse. From its absolute-beachfront position alongside the pure white sands of Nusa Dua, the St Regis is a majestic presence with service standards to match. Far away from the hustle and bustle, relax by the lagoon pool or head to the spa for a โluxury Champagne treatmentโ, which uses grape seed scrubs, grape seed oil and finally, a clay body mask infused with Champagne, before ending with a luxurious bath soak accompanied by โ of course โ a glass of bubbly. (stregisbali.com)
W Hotel Seminyak
Lazy days by the pool, followed by romantic dinners after nightfall โ whatโs not to like? Nab one of the daybeds overlooking the ocean before they fill up, then watch the sun setting as you sip a cocktail. Between the stylish rooms, the efficient and friendly staff, and endless options for relaxation, youโll struggle to find a reason to leave. That said, should you feel the need to go further afield, the hotel is within walking distance โ or taxi ride โ from the shops and cafes of Seminyak. (wretreatbali.com)
Bride and groom must declare the same religion, even if one of you has to nominally change faith. You must file a Notice of Intention to Marry and a Certificate of No Impediment with the Civil Registry Office. Catholics need to present baptism certificates and permission from their priest. After the ceremony, you have to record your union with the Civil Registry (Kantor Catatan Sipil) in order to make your vows legal.
The cost?
Look for wedding packages that include all legal costs.
Things To Do:
1โ Expand your culinary repertoire with a cooking class. Many of the resorts offer these and youโll be able to learn how to concoct curry pastes from scratch, make a mean satay or a spicy sambal, and usually some type of dessert dish such as sticky rice or grilled bananas. (casaluna.com)
2- Get your open-water diving certification. Bali has some of the best scuba diving in the world, with coral reefs, abundant tropical fish and shipwrecks to explore. If youโre not ready to take the plunge into the deep, snorkelling is also second to none, with most tour operators offering this as an option. (prodivebali.com)
3- Have clothes made. If you have a dress, a pair of shoes, or any other garment that you especially love, a good tailor will be able to replicate them. Or, you and your new spouse can have leather jackets made to your exact measurements. (1balitailor.com)

Thereโs no such thing as looking โtoo beautifulโ on your wedding day. Not only will all eyes be on you, but there will be a photographer documenting every moment of the event youโll look back on for the rest of your life. Make the most of your big-day beauty preparations by bringing together the best in the business to ensure you look and feel your most beautiful.
Hair Stylist
If youโve spent your adult life hairdresser-hopping, thereโs no better time than your wedding to settle down and commit. The best way to do that? โDo your research,โ says Julianne McGuigan, Editorial Stylist for Oribe haircare. โIf youโve seen a bride in the past whose hair you adored, contact her โ word of mouth is the best recommendation. Checking the credits on photo shoots that feature hair you like is another good way to track down a stylist.โ
If youโre growing your hair out for a particular style, try to establish a regular schedule of trims to keep split ends at bay โ every six to eight weeks should cover it. And once youโve found the stylist you click with, stay loyal. โIf you like them, stick with them as they not only understand your hair โ they know you and everything you are into,โ Julianne says. โIt can be a very rewarding relationship all round!โ
Hair Colourist
Your idea of โwarm blondeโ may be dramatically different from your colouristโs, so itโs worth bringing a reference picture (or two) to ensure youโre both heading in the same direction. โUse photographic references of colour and shape as itโs a non-verbal communication that is very valuable,โ says Julianne. Also, give yourself a decent lead time if youโre planning to introduce a significantly different colour before the big day. โIf youโre having a colour change I recommend you commence the change six months out so it is gradual, you feel comfortable with it and you keep the integrity of the hair,โ Julianne explains. โUse Oribeโs Masque for beautiful colour as it will protect against fading and give you ultra-glossy, lustrous hair.โ

Facialist
The best base for flawless make-up is good skin, so itโs worth building a relationship with the right facialist. โMost brides want active skincare, as opposed to just being pampered,โ says Emma Hobson, Education Manager for Dermalogica Australia (dermalogica.com.au). โYou donโt just want to go to a relaxation expert, you need someone who is focused on tangible results. See someone who goes to regular training, and ask to see their certificates. You need someone who is up to speed with all the latest ingredients and products.โ What you donโt necessarily need? A full year of treatments to prep your skin for the wedding. โUsually about six weeks before you get married is a good time to start,โ Emma advises. โThat said, if you have any major challenges like bad acne, pigmentation or breakouts, start twelve weeks in advance. Either way, have your final treatment one week before the wedding.โ
Make-Up Artist
A talented make-up professional is a non-negotiable asset for most brides โ after all, this is the person who has the power to make you the most beautiful youโve ever looked. โI canโt stress enough how important it is to find a good make-up artist,โ says bridal make-up artist Amelia Axton (ameliaaxton.com). โHave a look through wedding magazines or blogs, and if there are any real brides that you see with beautiful make-up, see if you can find out who did it. Just make sure they use images which arenโt overly retouched-looking. If itโs possible to connect to their Instagram and see unedited, behind-the-scenes shots, then you can get a true idea of the quality of their work. Recommendations from friends are always good, too!โ Once youโve narrowed down the artists whose work you like, set up a face-to-face meeting. โItโs important to pick a personality that you get along with,โ says Amelia. โFinding a make-up artist with a calm and positive energy will help your wedding day nerves.โ And definitely budget for at least one trial. โItโs important,โ says Amelia. โPeopleโs skin reacts differently to products โ one person may look shiny with one foundation but for someone else it adds the perfect coverage and glow. When you ask for natural-looking make-up, your version of natural may be different to your artistโs version. Itโs good to get on the same page.โ

Spray Tanner
Of all the professionals to have in your little black book, an expert spray tanner is one of the most important. Since thereโs very little room for error with a treatment that takes place a day or two before the wedding, finding someone you have absolute confidence in is essential. The best way to track one downis often by word of mouth. โReferral, referral, referral,โ says celebrity tanner Stacey McPherson, who consulted with Jen Hawkins on her JBronze tanning range. โUse Instagram or Facebook to look them up and view their work.โ If you can, book in two days before the wedding. โTans can keep developing for up to 12 hours after application,โ Stacey explains. โItโs best to allow the tan to fully develop and settle in, with no residue left over that may mark your dress on the day.โ
Waxing
The last thing you want before you head off on your honeymoon is a nasty rash, so make sure you have a reputable specialist looking after your bikini area. โDonโt just jump on the latest online deal website โ ask your friends and family for recommendations,โ says Svetlana Burkhardt, creator of the 7-minute Brazilian and author of Confessions of a Waxing Queen. โAnd read online reviews as there are some not-so-great operators out there. The room should also be immaculate and private, there should always be a fresh towel or paper protector on the bed, and your waxer should never double dip the wax stick.โ Most of all, make sure youโre completely at ease. โWaxing can be quite awkward and uncomfortable; you want to put yourself in the hands of someone you trust and you can have a laugh with during the more ouchy bits,โ says Svetlana. โYou wouldnโt trust the hair on your head to just anyone, so the same should go for the rest of your hair!โ
Lashes/Brows
โFinding the right brow expert is like finding the perfect man โ tricky to find, yet once you do you canโt imagine your life without them,โ says Benefit Australiaโs National Brow Artist, Hannah Terrett. Thatโs because the right set of brows will frame your face, create definition and even take years off your appearance. โDepending on your brow needs, make a date for 6-12 months prior to the big day,โ says Hannah. โThis allows plenty of time for your brows to grow in to the desired shape and thickness, allowing your arch expert to work their grooming magic.โ
Nails
Everyone (including your photographer) will be looking at your hands โ your left one, at least! โ so bitten-off nails and ragged cuticles are an embarrassing no-no. โIn an ideal world, everyone would have a regular manicure and that would be every two weeks,โ says Jocelyn Petroni, official manicurist for Chanel. โThen youโre always going to have perfect nails.โ And while itโs easy to find a nail bar, โitโs actually very hard to find a good manicurist,โ she adds. โMy clients all come to me through word of mouth. I definitely think itโs worth getting a verbal recommendation from a friend whoโs had success.โ

We tracked down the latest, greatest and strangest beauty treatments, then played guinea pigโฆ just for you.
1. Sharon Leeโs triple-layer method brows
Length of Trial: Three sessions, spaced six weeks apart.
The Lowdown: Eyebrows are a hot topic in beauty right now, with lush, well-defined brows very much the order of the day. If you were following fashion in the early 2000s, thereโs a good chance you overplucked your poor brows into a pair of squiggly tadpoles, never for them to recover. Enter Sharon Lee Hamilton-Clarkeโs triple-layer method. Using an ultra-fine microblade, ink is etched into the brow area to fill out sparse patches and give definition. The โtattooโ treatment creates full, natural-looking brows which will last up to two years.
A Typical Session: The moment I arrive at Sharon Leeโs Woollahra headquarters, one of her friendly staff members asks whether Iโd like a drink or any snacks. But before I can take advantage of the hospitality, Sharon Lee arrives to assess my eyebrows.
She sits opposite me on the banquette, and after a few minutes of silent contemplation tells me: โRight, Iโve analysed your face, and I can see that your brows are uneven โ the left sits slightly higher than the right. Theyโre quite thin and fine, so youโre a good candidate for the triple-layer brow feathering. Youโve plucked them in the past and youโre trying to grow them now but there isnโt enough coming through to look good. Theyโre almost a crescent shape and we want to get give them a proper arch.โ I feel like Iโve been to see a psychic, or a therapist โ sheโs totally nailed it.
Numbing cream is applied to my eyebrows, and I wait for 40 minutes or so for it to take effect. Then, Iโm led to a treatment bed and told to lie back and close my eyes, which means I canโt actually see the tool Sharon Lee is using โ thankfully. Initially, thanks to the numbing cream, all I can feel is a dull scratching sensation as she starts working.
As the treatment progresses I start to feel more of whatโs happening, and while it isnโt unbearable I canโt say itโs exactly pleasant, either. The scratching starts to sting, and for some reason every stroke is making me sneeze uncontrollably. Happily, Sharon Leeโs seen it all before, passes me tissues, and carries on.
Fifteen minutes later, Iโm all done. The girls give me a goodie bag with lollies and mini tubs of soothing recovery lotions, and Iโm on my way.
The Verdict: Initially, with the ink still fresh and quite dark-looking, Iโm a little taken aback by my appearance, which is more โAngry Birdsโ than elegant arches. But the shape is perfect, and Sharon Lee assures me the colour will fade as it heals over the next week or so. Sheโs right.
Intensity Rating: 7/10. Iโm not going to lie, it isnโt an entirely pain-free procedure. That said, your experience will reflect the time of the month (fluctuating hormones can increase your sensitivity to pain) and your personal pain threshold. Iโm told some women even fall asleep having it done!
Results: Amazing. I could not be happier with my beautiful new eyebrows! Theyโre the perfect shape, the perfect colour, and I donโt have to do a thing to maintain them. Itโs incredible to be able to wake up and go without needing to get out the eyebrow pencil, and always looking โdoneโ makes a genuine difference to how confident and put-together I feel.
Cost: The cost varies from $900 to $1900 for three treatments, depending on how much work your eyebrows need.
The Lowdown: The Body Sculpting Treatment is designed to help you re-sculpt and reshape your body, and improve the appearance of cellulite, through a process known as thermogenesis. This takes place in the upper epidermis and lower subcutaneous tissue, stimulating circulation and flushing out waste โ a cellulite-fighting combination. It wonโt make you thinner, but it should firm up your skin and make the orange peel effect less noticeable.
A Typical Session: I arrive at the DMK salon and am greeted by Anna. I fill in the obligatory form asking about my skin type, health and so on, and am taken to a treatment room to begin. Let me prefix this by saying Iโm a mum-of-two young kids, and I have quite a few wobbly areas that I try my hardest to keep artfully hidden under my clothes, so itโs going to take nothing short of a miracle to make me feel perfectly toned. First up, Anna gives me a pair of paper undies and sets about cleansing and exfoliating my legs, back, bum and tummy with a DMK Hydra loofah. Then itโs time for the Body Sculpting Creme, which smells of cloves. Itโs applied generously over my legs from top to the knees, on my back and all over my tummy. To make sure it stays put and sinks in to my skin effectively, she then wraps me in Glad Wrap, straight from the box. I feel slightly like a Christmas turkey, but once I am settled under the blankets I forget that Iโm trussed up. Next, she attaches electrodes to my tummy and legs for a spot of Electro Magnetic Wave Therapy, which aims to normalise the bodyโs cells through electro-magnetic pulses to leave you feeling recharged, rebalanced and re-energised. Admittedly the idea of this feels a little odd, but I soon get used to it. After 30 minutes, the remaining cream is massaged in.
The Verdict: The salon is relaxing and professional, and at every stage I knew what was happening and why. I didnโt expect that I would walk out looking like Gisele Bรผndchen โ I know this is just a single treatment and Iโll need more to reap the full benefits โ but I felt like I was in good hands.
Intensity Rating: 5/10. Itโs not for the claustrophobic, since there is a lot of Glad Wrapping involved, but itโs a pleasant treatment that makes you feel relaxed. Itโs also easy to do at home โ you can use the cream overnight with no need to wash it off in the morning.
Results: I had one treatment, but itโs recommended that you do a weekly, half-hour treatment over 6-12 weeks to see the full benefits. My skin felt firm and smooth afterwards and I can imagine that if done regularly in conjunction with exercise, mindful eating and homecare, the effects would be pleasing.
Cost: The DMK Body Sculpting Wrap Treatment costs from $220, and the Body Sculpting Creme for at-home use is $67 for 120ml.
3. Philosophy The Microdelivery Overnight Anti-Ageing Peel:
Length of Trial: Every second day for 14 days.
The Lowdown: Peels that contain active ingredients like alpha/beta hydroxy can be a risky thing to try at home, especially if you fall into the sensitive skin category. However, this one by philosophy promises to improve fine lines and wrinkles and reduce the size of pores while still being gentle on the skin. It claims that the benefits of an overnight sleep allow the treatment to remove dead skin without causing irritation. An anti-aging peel while I sleep? Yes please!
A Typical Session: Remove all your make-up and cleanse skin thoroughly as you normally would before bed. Next, saturate the make-up pad provided with the alpha/beta hydroxy acid. Gently wipe this solution all over your face. It will feel slightly warm on contact due to the key active ingredients including professional grade lactic acid, glycolic acid and salicylic acid. Allow the leave-on peel solution to dry on the skin, then massage in the youth-extending night gel as you would your regular moisturiser. A cucumber-scented gel consistency, the moisturiser contains Echinacea, anti-aging peptides anti-irritant oat extract and bisabolol, and helps to cool, soothe and hydrate the skin. The final step is to get your beauty sleep so the facial can work itโs magic.
The Verdict: As a time-poor mum who works full-time, finding a spare two hours to go and get a facial is very difficult. So when I heard about an anti-aging peel that I could apply myself and which promised to work while I slept, I was both a little sceptical and completely hopeful it would work. After using the at-home peel every second day for two weeks, I can definitely notice a difference! My skin looks smoother and refreshed and even though I would describe myself as having sensitive skin, it was not at all irritated by the leave-on peel.
Intensity Rating: 2/10. The two-step system replaces the toning and moisturising steps in your normal skincare routine, so no extra effort is required. Plus, it does all the hard work while you sleep. Brilliant.
Results: My skin looks brighter, smoother and my pores appear to be smaller, too. I also felt as though my make-up stayed on my skin better. I would definitely recommend this product to other time-poor women, plus itโs great for those with sensitive skin.
Cost: Philosophy microdelivery overnight anti-aging peel is $110.

Ever gone to pull a loose thread, only to find the whole thing unravelling? Stop picking at minor flaws or life may start to come loose. While delays can be disappointing, youโre probably not ready to proceed right now. Instead, enjoy your birthday season with those you love. Today makes tomorrowโs happy memories, so make the best of life in the here and now.
Aries (March 21 โ April 20)
Best Day: Saturday 23rd
Too often your best fantasies remain dormant within the confines of your imagination. Not so now. Youโre ready for well โ almost, anything! New love could move at lightning speed. Credit cards meltdown from overuse. Work, however, brings a steadier pace.
Taurus (April 21 โ May 20)
Best Day: Sunday 24th
Personal matters or family take priority this week. A change of home may soon be necessary. At the very least, plans for relocation are put into motion. Or someoneโs causing disruption. Secret romance, or a past indiscretion, should stay private โ so donโt be tempted to tell all.
Gemini (May 21 to June 21)
Best Day: Friday 22nd
Your ability to work with such obvious determination is bound to turn a few heads this week, and you probably encounter both support and envy. You also find out who your true friends are. As some may not prove trustworthy, caution is advised in financial matters.
Cancer (June 22 โ July 22)
Best Day: Tuesday 26th
Let go of any self-defeating thoughts. You may feel that you lack direction, but thatโs only because youโve yet to choose your direction.Start a vision board, write lists, make plans and be open to following when a path opens for you. If you feel that guidance is needed, ask friends for help. You are not alone.
Leo (July 23 โ August 23)
Best Day: Saturday 23rd
Restlessness makes it hard for Leos to settle. Youโre simply not in the mood for routine. The more predictable your days become, the more frustrated you are. Donโt stress. By weekโs end, the cosmos livens up your life โ perhaps with a surprise. More cash, maybe?
Virgo (August 24 โ September 22)
Best Day: Wednesday 27th
Most everyone seems unstable this week, but youโre willing enough to humour them. On the face of it this probably makes you just as daft, but thereโs Virgo method in your madness. Eventually theyโll see the error of their ways โ and your wisdom.
Libra (September 23 โ October 23)
Best Day: Wednesday 27th
Youโre able to genuinely multi-task, and thatโs a rare skill. Right now, you dream of a career change โ but life feels too unstable. Communicate your feelings another week, when youโre better able to articulate plans. A flirtatious exchange brings out your mischievous side.
Scorpio (October 24 โ November 22)
Best Day: Thursday 28th
Get a grip on your emotions, Scorpio. Theyโre so intense they threaten to control you, instead of the other way around. And no more tetchy outbursts. Sure, a little venting helps let off steam but it wonโt solve anything. Ditto for disagreements about money.
Sagittarius (November 23 โ December 21)
Best Day: Sunday 24th
Just when you thought it was time to abandon ship, along comes a planetary rescue team. But youโre not entirely clear of stormy seas just yet โ particularly when it comes to personal issues. Close friends sense this, and will help steer you towards calmer waters.
Capricorn (December 22 โ January 20)
Best Day: Monday 25th
Although youโre tempted to whip others into action, use gentler methods. Of course itโs frustrating, but slower colleagues need inspiration and support. Excessive discipline wonโt encourage the co-operation you need. Best solution? Patience and compromise.
Aquarius (January 21 โ February 18)
Best Day: Friday 22nd
Cut your losses at the start of the week so that you donโt wade into anyone elseโs psychological cesspool. Thankfully, youโre intuitive enough to recognise any early warning signs, and may have already made an escape plan. The further away, the better.
Pisces (February 19 โ March 20)
Best Day: Monday 25th
You may sometimes wonder whether you have taken the right path in life. Donโt panic, Pisces. Carefully reassess past actions and remember that thereโs no such thing as a mistake โ life is a learning curve. Self-forgiveness is a must. Forgive others too.

The Bacheloretteโs resident magician, Apollo made half his bodyweight disappear before he went into the mansion.
Upon meeting Apollo Jackson, Sophie Monk said she couldnโt believe he was arealmagician because heโs not a โnerd burger.โ However, the 24-year-old revealed that he hasnโt always been so confident in his appearance.
Apollo admits he went through a period of depression, during which his weight reached 150kgs. A heart attack was the serious wake-up call he needed, motivating him to turn his life around.
โI ended up in critical care for two weeks and I just reassessed my life,โ he toldNW.I just went, โOK, what do I really want in my life?โโ The Gold Coast resident looks unrecognisable in his old Facebook photos.
To be honest, this kind of makes us like him even more because you know heโs not just a pretty boy. Oh, and Apollo is just a stage name, his real name is Jake Spence.

As the death toll of the devastating Mexico earthquake continues to rise, the discovery of a girl in the rubble of her school has become a symbol of hope for many.
The 7.1 magnitude earthquake struck on Tuesday, killing at least 230 people.
Crews in Mexico City are racing to rescue 12-year-old Frida Sofia who is trapped in the rubble of Colegio Enrique Rebsamen elementary school.
AsABC News reports, workers have made contact with Sofia and have given her with water and oxygen.
Currently trapped under a granite table or desk, the student told workers that she can feel two others with herโbut cannot tell if they are alive.
According to CNN, a crowd has gathered at a barrier outside of the school, desperately waiting for news about the young girl.
Colegio Enrique Rebsamen is one of 16 schools in Mexico City affected by the earthquake. 21 children and four adults have been confirmed dead after part of the school folded in on itself and collapsed.

For most of her career, Victoria Beckham was rarely ever spotted in colour, print, or sans heels. But recent outings suggest a change in tune for the queen of monochrome minimalism, and VB confirms her husband is partly to thank.
โI just thought black was great,โ the designer told The Telegraphof her signature shade. โBut now I really enjoy wearing color. When I see pictures of myself in color it feels fresh and more useful.โ
โIโm in a great position because I can see pictures of myself and learn from what I see,โ she continued.
Victoria then revealed that her football star husband agrees with the bright, new hues.
โA few months ago I was wearing blue trousers and a simple red jumper. David never really comments on pictures of me but he said โthose pictures look really great, itโs great to see you in colour.โ
She added: โThereโs enough bad stuff going on in the world so we need to look at clothes and feels energised and happy.โ
The 43-year-oldโs new love of colour has, naturally, transitioned from her wardrobe into her runway designs.
Her latest offering, debuted at New York Fashion Week, consisting of a pink pinstriped suit and bright pink pyjama-inspired silks (which she also owns in baby blue), as well as an orange silk jumpsuit and prints aplenty.
Itโs a new era of Beckham and we couldnโt be more ready.

Everything old is new again seems to be the motto in Hollywood and TV land lately, with more reboots hitting our screens than ever before.
The latest TV show to be reincarnated? Bubbly โ90s comedy series Sabrina, the Teenage Witch is being developed โ and this time with a much darker twist.
As Deadline reports, the series is inspired by the Archie Comics series The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina, and will be seen as a companion piece to Netflixโs Riverdale.
The show features the same creative team behind Riverdale and puts a chilling horror spin on Sabrinaโs supernatural backstory, rather than taking the whacky animatronic cat approach (as much as we loved Salem).
The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina
According to the CW Network, the series โreimagines the origin and adventures of Sabrina the Teenage Witch as a dark coming-of-age story that traffics in horror, the occult and, of course, witchcraft.โ
โTonally in the vein of Rosemaryโs Baby and The Exorcist, this adaptation finds Sabrina wrestling to reconcile her dual nature โ half-witch, half-mortal โ while standing against the evil forces that threaten her, her family and the daylight world humans inhabit,โ the log line continues.
If the project gets the green light, you can expect to see the one-hour drama in 2018-19.
At the top of our list of questions about the series: will Melissa Joan Hart get a cameo? Hereโs hoping.

Kensington Palace has remained tight-lipped on the Duchess of Cambridgeโs due date โ their official statement announcing the news made no mention of when the third royal baby is due โ but Prince William may have just given the game away.
Answering a question from a member of the audience during his National Mental Health and Policing Conference address in Oxford last week, the Duke of Cambridge said off cuff: โIt was a bit anxious to start with, but [we can] start celebrating this week,โ reports The Mirror.
That would suggest they have reached the 12-week mark, and the baby would be due sometime in March.
Then yesterday, Prince William added further fuel to the speculation fire. Elle UK reports he told a midwife during his visit to Spitalfields Crypt Trust, โAll the best with the midwifery, I may see you sooner than you think.โ
Kate Middleton has a history of announcing her pregnancies ahead of her 12-week scan โ as The Mirror points out, Princess Charlotteโs impending arrival was announced on September 8, 2014, before her 12-week scan, which was announced on October 20.
The Duchessโs hyperemesis gravidarum, a severe form of morning sickness, has made it impossible for her to keep the news secret for long with any of her pregnancies.

Thereโs something gleaming in the back corner of Kacey Devlinโs Sydney studio โ tear your eyes away from the racks of new season clothes, paper patterns and the designerโs incredibly chic moodboard and youโll find the real gem: a twinkling dress crafted from what looks like meticulously woven chainmail, spun from pure gold.
โFor the last couple of seasons weโve been working with a really unusual hi-tech metallic, knitted metal lurex,โ Devlin says. โIt has this chain-mail aesthetic which has the connotations of bravery and confidence that I want the Kacey Devlin woman to embody. Itโs luxurious and sexy and fluid, but that chainmail quality also makes it strong.โ
A finalist for the coveted Prix de marie claire Next Gen award, sponsored by Lexus, Devlin immediately attracted the judges with her imaginative, innovative approach to design. Most of her garments are made without traditional fastenings, forcing her to look for novel ways to drape the fabric around the body, and allowing for her design signature: a dramatic collapsed back.
Itโs a style that suits this glimmering fabric to a tee, resulting in a dress that demands attention yet isnโt remotely showy. โThe fabric is milled in Italy and weโre introducing new colours โ weโve generally worked with it in silver and gold but for Resort weโre introducing a bronze and a black,โ Devlin reveals. โThe bronze is so special; I didnโt even want to give the samples to Fashion Week. I wanted to keep them for myself!โ

Unsurprisingly, the making of such a piece is a delicate process. โAs soon as you cut it, it kind of falls apart, the knitted shards just fall across the table,โ Devlin explains. โWhen you first look at it, it seems quite coarse, but when you actually start to build a relationship with the sense of touch itโs actually quite luxurious and slinky.โ
Under Devlinโs deft hand, the precious metals glide across the body, molten yet strong. A gold-standard party dress if ever we saw one.

Phoebe Tonkin. Jane Birkin. Sienna Miller. Three very different women, to be sure, but we can see each of them wearing this divine white linen dress.
Made by Lucy and Michelle Perrett, the sisters behind Bondi-based label Matin, right here in their seaside studio, itโs the kind of piece youโd pack for a summer holiday, or throw on for a scorching Sydney day.
โOur silk linen dress with lace trim details is true to everything we love about Matin,โ says Lucy, who with her sister was nominated as a finalist for the lauded Prix de marie claire Next Gen award, sponsored by Lexus. โItโs a timeless piece, with a relaxed yet refined silhouette.โ
While the dress epitomises effortless style, its design process was nowhere near that simple. โCraftsmanship is so important to us,โ Michelle says. โThis dress is a little bit difficult to make with all of the detailing, pin tucks and trims, but since everything is made right here, we oversee every element of the design process, creating the garment from beginning to end.โ

Everything is made by hand from natural fibres โ soft cottons and linens, mainly, and some silks. โFinding the right fabrics is really important to us,โ Lucy says. โItโs the feel of natural fibres on the body, that raw feel that our fabrics give the overall garment.โ
What at first glance looks like a simple white dress is a actually a precious example of local craftsmanship, with painstakingly positioned pleats to ensure it falls breezily along the body. โWe like that contrast of having something flowing and easy to wear combined with intricate detail,โ Lucy explains.
โWith Matin designs, itโs about more than the way they look; itโs how they work inside out and, more importantly, how they make you feel.โ
Anything that evokes that elusive holiday spirit (or makes us feel like Phoebe Tonkin) has earnt a tick of approval from us.

Consider it the off-duty equivalent of your failsafe LBD โ the shirt dress is as much a daywear essential as your Breton stripe tee and boyfriend jeans.
But itโs a design that can get a bad rap. โItโs really hard to make a good shirt dress, because it can look quite corporate, and not very โfashionโ, says Sydney-based designer Anna Quan.
The winner of the 2017 Prix de marie claire Next Gen Award, sponsored by Lexus, would know: sheโs the woman behind the crisp white shirts with oversized cuffs that have taken Instagram by storm, thanks to street style stars like Amanda Shadforth, Sara Donaldson and Camille Charriere wearing them like theyโre going out of fashion (hot tip: theyโre definitely not).
But back to her latest creation. โA lot of the time people design shirt dresses that look like an elongated shirt, but I wanted to re-conceptualise it, make it more fitted, find small ways to tweak it that would have profound impact on the overall aesthetic,โ Quan says. โAnna Quan is about brave design โ itโs about taking the everyday, elevating it and making it special.โ

Sheโs done just that: with its billowing sleeves, gently cinched waist, gleaming gold buttons and distinctive high neck, this is a shirt dress thatโs classic yet deliberately off-kilter.
โBy tweaking a few of the key elements that would make up a regular shirt dress we can defy that corporate perception and create something completely different and make it slightly off-centre, and that is what Anna Quan is all about,โ the designer says.
Expect to see it popping up all over your Instagram feed any day now.

Designed in Australia. Crafted in Switzerland. Presented to Victoria Beckham in Paris. Weโre guessing, of course, but weโd say this dress has had a more glamourous life than most fashion obsessives.
More recently, itโs the dress that secured itself an invite โ and an award nomination โ to the biggest night in Australian fashion, Prix de marie claire, sponsored by Lexus.
The highlight from Australian label Macgrawโs most recent collection, the Flannel dress is literally like no other: for starters, itโs made from merino lace, a first-of-its-kind fabric created by the Swiss factory that also supplies Chanel, Prada and Gucci.
The design duo behind Macgraw, sisters Tess and Beth, fashioned their world-first fabric into the distinctive blooms of the elusive pink flannel flower, a natural rarity that blooms only after a bushfire.
โItโs a beautiful phantom flower that weโve paid homage to out of merino lace, using black and different pinks and gold lurex,โ Tess says. โItโs so luxurious.โ

Before it made its way to Prix de marie claire, the Macgraw Flannel dress was a finalist for the prestigious Woolmark International Prize in Paris. โWe presented it in front of Victoria Beckham and Natalie Massenet, and it was by far the scariest thing weโve ever done,โ recalls Beth. โIt was wild โ you just think, โif I can do that, I can do anything!โโ
It was an exhilarating occasion that mirrors their whole approach to what they do. โFashion for us is about more than the clothes, itโs about a feeling,โ says Tess.โ We want that sense of exhilarating performance to come through in our shows, through to our collections and to our customer.โ
โDuring a show weโre always watching the monitor backstage, looking for toe-tapping along the front row โ if we see that, then weโve been successful!โ

Kate Middletonโs recent announcement that sheโs pregnant with her third child has everybody talking about babies: baby names, baby due dates, bets on the future babyโs name and due dateโฆ But this is no ordinary baby.
With royalty comes a long history of tradition to adhere to, and the smallest in line for the throne are no exception.
Check out 10 royal baby traditions you never wouldโve thought of.
1. Home birth
Hospital births are generally taken for granted these days, but just a few decades ago the custom among royals โ as with most people โ was to give birth at home.
Queen Elizabeth IIwas born at 17 Bruton Street inLondon, a private family home, and she gave birth to her sons Charles, Andrew and Edward inBuckingham Palace. Her only daughter, Princess Anne, was born atClarence House, also a royal property. Princess Diana shook up the tradition in the 1980s when Princes William and Harry were both born at St. Maryโs hospital.
The birth of a royal is not just any old day โ and years back, it was a political event that could have deep implications for an entire nation.
42 eminent public figures were called in to verify the birth of Prince James Francis Edward in 1688 at St Jamesโ Palace. This was done to ensure the royal birth was legitimate and that no common baby had been smuggled into the bedchamber in a warming pan, or into the bed through a secret door in the bedhead.
Once, the home secretary would have been expected to witness the birth to ensure the legitimacy of the heir. This tradition ended with the birth of Queen Elizabeth IIโs cousin, Princess Alexandra, in 1936.
3. Medication
It used to be believed that a painful childbirth was punishment for original sin, so taking pain-killers, even for royals was heavily frowned upon. Eventually, royal women began to drug themselves with everything from chloroform to cocaine.
Queen Victoria (who gave birth to nine children) began a campaign to make pain relief for royal mothers available and acceptable. For the birth of her eighth son, Prince Leopold, she found a doctor who would use chloroform to give her a reprieve. โโOh, that blessed chloroform,โ she wrote afterwards, โsoothing and delightful beyond measure.โ
4. Dad in the delivery room
Up until the birth of Prince Charles fathers werenโt allowed in the birthing room, but would have to wait outside. When the queen (then Princess Elizabeth) went into labor, her husband, Prince Philip, was off playing squash in the palace โ out of restlessness, not indifference, noted Charlesโ biographer Jonathan Dimbleby.
For Kateโs first two births William was present, just like his father was for his: โI am so thankful I was beside Dianaโs bedside the whole time because by the end of the day I really felt as though Iโd shared deeply in the process of birth,โ Charles wrote shortly after Williamโs birth.
5. The royal mother couldnโt attend the christening
Historically, queens were expected to hide out until after the christening because it wasnโt yet seemly to reintroduce them to society because she was โunclean.โ The royal mother would have to stay in bed for a further six weeks before she could be blessed and purified by a priest.
6. Christening today
Royal children are christened as a member of the Church of England in a robe thatโs a replica of one that has been used since 1841. The original robe, made of fine Honiton lace lined with satin, was made for the christening of Queen Victoriaโs eldest daughter and since been used for generations. In 2008, the Earl and Countess of Wessexโs son wore a replica robe designed to preserve the original.
7. Royal announcement
The official announcement of a royal baby is posted outside Buckingham Palace on an easel. The Queen, senior members of the royal family, and the Middleton family โ if they are not at the hospital โ will be told about the birth first. Then a royal aide will hurry from the hospital to the palace under police escort with a bulletin. The note will carry the Buckingham letterhead and signed by key medical staff. It used to be handwritten but now is typed.
Prince William and Kate have famously made their baby news public via Twitter and Facebook first.
8. How many godparents?
Royal babies usually have five or six godparents, people who historically supported the child in their faith, and godparents usually arenโt immediate family members. Prince George has seven and Princess Charlotte has five.
9. Registration
All births in England and Wales, regardless of parentage, must be registered within 42 days of the birth at the hospital or a local register office.
10. Gun salute
Cannons will be fired across London in celebration: 62 shots from the Tower of London and 41 from Green Park and the Union Jack flag will be flown from government buildings across Britain.

Face masks, Iโve tried a few. And the difference between the ones left languishing at the back of my bathroom cupboard and those that get every last drop of product squeezed out of them in record time is three-fold: they must 1) work 2) smell nice and 3) be easy enough for the lazy girl in me to actually bother to use.
Sisleyโs Black Rose Cream mask is one such product. Iโm not alone in my obsession โ Lara Worthington, J-Law, Salma Hayek, Emma Stone and celebrity makeup artist Rachel Goodwin, who are all ardent Black Rose admirers too.
In real people terms, one Black Rose Mask sells every three minutes around the world (and has done since its launch in 2011) and itโs held the title of number one face mask in France for the past six years. Impressive? Mais oui.
I like to apply it every Sunday night after Iโve cleansed and toned with rosewater (Iโm liking Akhalโs organic version right now). Rather than smother it on like a mask, I think of it as an extra-indulgent night cream, and wear a less thick layer to bed. The beauty of this approach is that I actually mask weekly โ throw in an extra step, like having to wash it off, and I wonโt go near it unless my skin situation is seriously dire (lazy, me? Yes).
The Sisley Black Rose Cream mask is designed for tired, stressed out skin. Along with Black Rose extract, itโs loaded up with vitamins, minerals and amino acids like copper, zinc, manganese, marine microalgae extract, red vine leaf extract, pro-vitamin B5 and shea butter for hydration.
Although luxuriously rich, it doesnโt make my pimple-prone skin break out. The price tag is slightly scary โ $180 per pretty purple tube โ but when you consider using it is like an at-home facial, itโs possible to convince yourself itโs worth the outlay (just donโt tell your husband/boyfriend/girlfriend/anyone).

Before Sophie Monk entered the Bachelorette mansion, she promised herself that sheโd hold back on the kissing until a few dates in.
But after setting foot on the showโsurrounded by a host of handsome, eligible menโthat rule went out the window. And weโre 100 percent behind it.
Appearing KIIS FMโs Kyle And Jackie โOโ, Monk explained: โSecond night I was crying and kissed a guyโ.
โI swore to myself I wouldnโt kiss them unless it was later, but first date in, second date in, third. I think I only didnโt kiss one date.โ
Monk added: โI was like โDadโs going to be proudโ.
Eighteen single men are vying for the 37-year-oldโs affection on this season of The Bachelorette. Monk has already revealed she found love on the show.
โI kissed anyone I liked! You get to know [if you like someone] by the kiss, donโt you reckon?โ she told News.com.au.
โI said I wouldnโt kiss anyone on the first date and I did straight away. I let my guard down because I wanted to fall in love.โ
The Bachelorette starts on Wednesday, September 20. Weโll be watching (obviously)!

Thanks to an awkwardly-timed voiceover from Bran Stark, we all know Jon Snowโs real ancestry โ and just how closely related he is to his lover-girl Dany, but as it turns out, heโs not the only undercover Targaryen kicking around Westeros.
Thatโs right, thereโs yet another character who has claim to the throne: Gendy, the blacksmith and bastard son of Robert Baratheon.
Yep, little old Gendry is not just Robertโs only living son, heโs also cousin to both Jon and Daenerys. Itโs also rumoured that his mum is Cersei Lannister, which, if true, would mean he has the blood of three of the most powerful houses there is.
As you can see in the family tree below, brought to our attention by NME, Aegon Vโs daughter Rhaelle married Ormund Baratheon โ Robert Baratheonโs grandfather, meaning Aegon V Targaryen is Gendryโs great-great-grandfather.
At the end of season 7, it was confirmed, with a bit of casual incest in the background, that Rhaegar is Jon Snowโs dad, which means Jon and Gendry are fourth cousins.
Daenerys is Aegon Vโs great-granddaughter, making her both Jon Snowโs aunt and Gendryโs third cousin once removed.
While Gendryโs Targaryen blood doesnโt give him as much claim to the throne as Dany and Jon have, his Baratheon blood does. And his potential Lannister blood? Well, that just makes him scary AF.
This all also means that Robert Baratheon, the Targaryen hater, is actually a Targaryen.

A chilling 911 call recording captures the moments after a friend discovered the bodies of psychology student Heather Campbell and her boyfriend, Kyle Lafferty, in an apartment complex in Ohio, US.
Investigators believe that 25-year-old Lafferty shot Campbell before turning the gun on himself in an alleged murder-suicide, PEOPLE reports.
A neighbor and friend of Campbell called police at 2.30am on Sunday morning after she had gone to check on the young woman.
โI just walked into my best friendโs apartment and her and her boyfriend are laying on the kitchen floor dead and bleeding,โ she says in her call to police, as obtained by local media outlet The Lantern.
โI refuse to go back in there.โ
Ohio State psychology student, 22, is shot dead by her naval academy graduate boyfriend before he kills himself https://t.co/PPmyg1G2Et
The friend explained in the call: โI literally walked in their front door and theyโre right there. Because she lives in my apartment building and she hasnโt answered my phone calls since yesterday. So I went in there and the door was unlocked and they were right there on the floor.โ
Columbus police Sgt. Dave Sicilian told NBC4 the deaths were an apparent murder-suicide.
โIt appears that the male murdered the female and then turned a firearm on himself,โ he said.
โ[This was] a domestic related situation that resulted in these deaths.โ
Laffertyโwho was a recent graduate of U.S. Merchant Marine Academyโhad reportedly been dating Campbell for eight months.

Straight from the how-has-this-been-kept-secret-for-so-long files, it turns out you can actually be allergic to exercising. But be careful what you wish for: the rare condition is no walk in the park.
Popular Science reports that exercise-induced anaphylaxis, which is thought to affect 50 in every 100,000 people, can cause hives, swelling and nausea in response to exercise. While the specific cause is not yet known, food can be a trigger (usually when wheat or shellfish is consumed the same day as exercise) as can taking aspirin.
The only workout that no-one seems to be allergic to? Swimming. A study published in Current Allergy and Asthma, reports Business Insider, found that people diagnosed with exercise-induced anaphylaxis didnโt present any symptoms after doing laps.

A Russian mother is facing up to 10 years in jail following the death of her baby son after she allegedly left him at home for a week.
According to The Independent, 17-year-old Viktoria Kuznetsova reportedly locked her nine-month-old baby Egor at home while she visited and partied with friends.
Ms Kuznetsova allegedly told neighbours at the student dormitory where she lived that her baby was being cared for by her aunt.
The Sunreports the mother posted on her social media page: โEverything is okโ after leaving her home.
Following suspicions about the babyโs whereabouts, police were notified and visited Ms Kuznetsovaโs home on September, 13. Officers found Egor dead with signs of exhaustion.
The teenage mother was arrested and will face 10 years in jail if she is found guilty.
Ms Kuznetsovaโs husband had been called up for military service at the time.
The mother reportedly gave her baby to an orphanage when he was one month old, but Egor was returned to her care months later.

The โVote Noโ campaign launched in Sydney last Sunday and in response the National Mental Health Commission issued a statement warning the debate had heightened discrimination against LGBT people, making them especially vulnerable.
Theyโre right. ReachOut, a national mental health service has experienced a twenty per cent spike in online traffic. Thatโs around 17,000 extra requests for help.
CEO Jono Nicholas told Fairfax Media people are requesting help because theyโre anxious about what the postal survey results will mean.
While ReachOut and Orygen have made their concerns about increased demand public, half-a-dozen of Australiaโs other biggest mental health organisations have entered into crisis talks over the last three weeks.
(Credit: Getty)
Meanwhile, โNoโ campaign leader, Nationals Senator Matt Cananvan has told LGBT Australians to โstop being delicate little flowers.โ
โCanโt we just all grow a spine and grow up? The debate hasnโt been that bad,โ he told Sky News.
What young LGBT Australians are experiencing right now is intensified โMinority Stressโ: three types of stress minority groups must navigate in their daily lives. This includes homophobic abuse (both physical and verbal), the expectation of discrimination, and the internalisation of negative attitudes towards themselves and the gay community.
Minority stress keeps LGBT people in a state of high alert, wearing down their psychological defences and leads to feelings of inferiority, writes psychiatrist Kamran Ahmed.
As if navigating adolescence wasnโt stressful enough.
Iโve been out for two years now, Iโm completely confident in my identity, Iโm well supported by loving family, friends and in my workplace (thanks, marie claire!), and I still experience these stresses.
I notice people on the street taking a second glance when I hold another womanโs hand. I have to laugh off pervy, porn-referencing comments from men in bars when I tell them Iโm gay. I explain myself to curious new friends who think I โdonโt look like a lesbian.โ Acquaintances have asked: So how do you have sex?, Who is the man in the relationship?, and When did you decide? more times than I can count.
Straight people are privileged. Not because they have better love or lives, but because they donโt have to deal with any of the above.
Public debate about the postal survey has predictably turned into a circus. That circus is a significant drain on the LGBT community and the mental health organisations supporting them.
โIn the past week Iโve read that gays shouldnโt be allowed to have kids because they are all paedophiles, children who grow up in rainbow families are more likely to turn to drugs later in life, letting gays marry will open up marriage to animals, there will be an increase in women being raped, radical teaching of same-sex education within schools with parents not having a say, as well as schools telling boys itโs ok to wear dresses (weโve all seen the commercial).โ
The question on everyoneโs mind, and their lips, is whether or not marriage equality is an antidote โ since it wonโt necessarily eradicate prejudice against gay people. What we can say is, countries that have marriage equality now experienced a significant drop in mental health visits, and in LGBT suicide rates just one year after legalisation.
There is a clear link between marriage equality and improved mental health.
The team at ReachOut are hoping the result of the postal survey is a resounding yes.
โThat will send an incredibly positive message to LGBT young people that Australia does care about them, that we believe in their equality,โ Nicholas said.

As someone who holds an unreasonable fear that my future babiesโ names will be taken by friends, family or colleagues long before I fall pregnant, I feel for Ms McCormick. The poor woman has taken to an online parenting forum to reveal that her sister has stolen not one, but two of her baby names.
Weirder still: Ms McCormick has already had her two children.
โI have two sons: Hayden and Oliver,โ she explains on Mumsnet, as reported by The Sun. โDSis [thatโs parenting forum speak for Darling Sister] had a daughter after I had Hayden and named her Hayden.โ
โI didnโt care too much as she was a girl and mine was a boy,โ she adds. Edโs note: doesnโt that make it worse?
But the saga continues: โMy Oliver is two months and she is in the third trimester of her pregnancy and has announced heโs an Oliver,โ McCormick writes. โShe says I was fortunate enough to fall pregnant first and took her nameโฆ I had no idea if she was thinking of those names or not.โ
Fellow Mumsnet forum dwellers were quick to weigh in. โIs she some kind of sociopath?โ one asked. โIs she normally all white single female with you?โ questioned another.
Weโre trying to see both sides: on the one hand, if the sister has long had her heart set on the two names, then why shouldnโt she use them to name her children โ no matter how many people she knows have already got in first?
On the other โ you donโt give your own kids the same names as your sisterโs kids. Just think of how confusing family gatherings would get.

From season one to season six, the sexual chemistry between Chuck Bass and Blair Waldorf was so steamy it frequently sent conservative parent groups into a frenzy. But in a new interview with Vulture, Gossip Girlโs executive producer Josh Safran has revealed there were two scenes that were so risquรฉ they never made it to our screens.
When asked whether he has any regrets about the show, Safran casually let slip about this pretty major deleted scene. โI only regret things like not showing Chuck finger Blair and the dildos and other sexual stuff,โ he told Vulture, adding, โWe had a story about Chuck taking care of Blair under the table at Xanโs. I donโt think we were able to do it, but we hinted at it.โ
Imagine what Dorota would have to say about that.
As for the dildos? That scene never even made it to post. It was destined for season one, when the barking mad Georgina Sparks set about ruining Serena Van Der Woodsenโs relationship from afar.
โThere were dildos [Georgina] sent to Dan at the house, and we had these really huge dildos in this house that Penn [Badgley] was so shocked to see,โ Safran reveals. โBut we cut it because you couldnโt show them on air.โ
โThe deleted-scene version, which I donโt think we ever put anywhere, is hilarious because theyโre like a foot and a half long,โ Safran adds. โPenn was really shocked.โ

Tennis star Serena Williams has penned an open letter to her mum, just weeks after welcoming her own daughter.
In the emotional post to Reddit, the website her fiance Alexis Ohanian co-founded, Serena reveals she was โcalled a manโ growing up, and that she worries about how she would handle it if her daughter gets teased in the same way.
The 35-year-old thanked her mum for her unwavering support and for giving her the courage to show the world โwhat some women look like.โ
โI was looking at my daughter (OMG, yes, I have a daughter ๐ณ) and she has my arms and legs! My exact same strong, muscular, powerful, sensational arms and body,โ the letter started.
โI donโt know how I would react if she has to go through what Iโve gone through since I was a 15 year old and even to this day.โ
โIโve been called man because I appeared outwardly strong,โ Serena revealed. โIt has been said that that I use drugs,โ she continued. โIt has been said I donโt belong in Womenโs sports โ that I belong in Menโs โ because I look stronger than many other women do.โ
โThank you for being the role model I needed to endure all the hardships that I now regard as a challenges โ ones that I enjoy,โ she wrote. โI hope to teach my baby Alexis Olympia the same, and have the same fortitude you have had.โ

Fancy yourself a bit of an Einstein? You can thank your mum for that.
According to new research, when it comes to IQ the apple doesnโt fall far from the tree.
The study, originally published onPsychology Spot, suggests that the genes that determine our intellect are inherited from our mothers. This is because they are located on the X chromosome, and since women carry two of them it makes it twice as likely that theyโll be responsible for passing their brainpower on to their kids.

Jenna Dewan Tatum has been hitting the red carpet around the world, accompanying her actor husband Channing Tatum to the premieres of his new movie, Kingsman: The Golden Circle.
The pair is currently in London, with Jenna taking to Instagram to share a sexy, lingerie photo from their hotel balcony.
โCheeky balcony series,โ the 36-year-old captioned the picture, taken by Channing.
While most fans praised the dancer for her incredible figure, some took to the comments section to mum-sham her for setting bad example for her daughter, Everly.
โWhat signals is she sending to her young daughter?โ, one person wrote.
โNot flattering to you as an intelligent woman,โ another commented. โYou look great but donโt need to teach young girls to garner attention by sharing sexual images of themselves to Instagram.โ
Others jumped to her defence saying: โWho cares if youโre a mum, be proud of who you are. You look beautiful!โ
Seeing the flood of criticism, Jenna hit back posting the quote above. She captioned the photo: โTo all the strong women out there. May we be them, may we know them, may we raise them. Rise above judgement and step into love.

Actor Ryan Phillippe is being sued for $1.25 million after allegedly physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend while drunk and on drugs.
21-year-old Elsie Hewitt says Phillippe, 43, punched and kicked her, before throwing her down a flight of stairs in his Los Angeles home on July 3, The New York Post reports.
โHe grabbed Hewittโs upper arm so tightly that his grip left heavy bruises on her arm hours later. He then braced his body and violently threw her down his staircase as hard as he could,โ she claims in court documents obtained by The Blast.
Hewitt was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre after the alleged incident, where police notedโvisible injuries to her legs, back, arms, shoulder and faceโ, USA Today reports.
Police filed a report and granted the model a temporary emergency restraining order against Phillippe, though the actor wasnโt arrested and no charges were filed against him.
Phillippe, who shares two children with his ex-wife Reese Witherspoon, has since taken to Twitter to deny the accusations, claiming heโs โsaddened and disgustedโ and that the claims are made up for โmonetary gain.โ
Hewitt is denying the allegations having anything to do with money, saying any profits will be donated.
โMs Hewitt filed this case for all those women who have been abused,โ her lawyer, Keith Fink, told The New York Post. โSuch conduct is intolerable. Neither she nor I seek any money in this case and any money awarded will be donated to a battered women society.โ

A Californian woman has recounted the harrowing story of how she faced an attempted muggingโand miraculously escaped.
Julie Dragland had boarded a train on Friday and was heading home when a figure in dark clothing allegedly dropped a note in her lap, CBS San Francisco reports.
โThere are 2 guns pointed at you now. If you want to live hand back your wallet + phone NOW + do not turn around and be descreet [sic],โ the note read. โDo not turn around until after you have left Civic Center + you will live
Ms Dragland responded quickly in an ingenious move: by pretending to have a seizure.
โI probably looked very ridiculous,โ she told the San Francisco Chronicle. โI slumped sideways and started shaking and crying. I closed my eyes and increased the vigor so people would pay attention.โ
The woman revealed her response was inspired by an episode of crime procedural Law & Order.
โI think (the idea) had something to do with watching a lot of โLaw & Order.โ I think I saw that in an episode. I was very impressed with myself,โ she said.

This is something that most people take for granted when they can legally commit to each other, but for me, my government says that I donโt have the same rights as some others in this country. So next month, Iโm being forced to have an intimate โget togetherโ with close family and friends.
Iโve been with my partner for four years, in a same-sex relationship. Itโs been an incredible journey of laughs, tears and travelling to exotic destinations together. In fact, Iโve travelled to more places in the last few years than I have in my entire life, and to many countries where same-sex marriage is legal (they havenโt burnt to hell, for the record). Iโm the happiest Iโve ever been. He is my world.
But lately thereโs one thing thatโs really starting to make me feel unsettled and upset.
Brett with his partner Chris (Credit: Supplied)
Over the past couple of weeks, since the government announced a vote on same-sex marriage, there has been an increase in hateful and unfair comments against the LGBTQIA community. Most of these comments arenโt even factual. Weโve heard most of them before, however this time is massively different. The Australian government has given these leftists a voice through the excuse of โfreedom of speechโ for the no campaign.
In the past week Iโve read that gays shouldnโt be allowed to have kids because they are all paedophiles, children who grow up in rainbow families are more likely to turn to drugs later in life, letting gays marry will open up marriage to animals, there will be an increase in women being raped, radical teaching of same-sex education within schools with parents not having a say, as well as schools telling boys itโs ok to wear dresses (weโve all seen the commercial).
Then thereโs the more extreme vitriol. People demanding that the LGBTQIA community should be made to wear badges to identify them from the โnormal peopleโ, put onto the sex offenders register, should be shot or hanged to โcleanseโ this country, made to use separate toilets so that it stops the spread of โgayโ disease, fags should have no rights because they are lesser human beings to those โnormalโ people, and the list goes on of vile and ignorant comments that Iโve seen sprawled on social media since the postal vote was announced a couple of weeks ago.
Iโm lucky to have a very supportive family and group of friends who love me for who I am, however there are some people within the LGBTQIA community who arenโt as lucky.
I grew up in a small country town in Victoria where any feelings of being different werenโt allowed. This wasnโt any fault of my parents, but it just wasnโt spoken about because it wasnโt who I was meant to be. I would spend 22 years of my life โin the closetโ โ unsure and ashamed of who I was, and having these feelings that were deemed as not โnormalโ within the community that I lived in.
Struggling through my teenage years, I started acting up and getting into trouble, sub-consciously trying to take the focus off what was really going on in my mind. When I was 17, I had suicidal thoughts after I confided in a close school friend about the feelings I was having towards other guys. He threatened to tell the rest of school about me. Needless to say, I went through a pretty dark period of my life. I was scared of what would happen to me. I can only imagine what someone struggling with those same feelings today would be dealing with, especially with disgusting comments being made across social media platforms throughout this campaign.
Hateful and hurtful comments aside, thereโs a simple personal question to the โnoโ campaigners. Why do you think you have the right to deny me the same rights that you have, and be treated like a second-rate citizen?
Why do we want to get married, and have this same right as many others in this country? Under law, a legal marriage offers equal protection and rights over material things that we build together during our relationship, Iโll be my partners next-of-kin and able to make tough decisions if he ever was unable to, itโs immediately valid โ unlike de-facto rights, the marriage cannot be denied by blood relatives who may have an issue with us being together and itโs a legal and binding contract that can only be broken in a Family Law court.
But the main reason we want to get married? Because we love each other, and want the same rights as those who can do it legally.
I donโt want anyoneโs pity. I just want to get married to the person I love most in this world, and want to spend the rest of my life with. I donโt think thatโs a big ask. So next month, Iโm having that โget togetherโ. But itโs not quite the same as if I could say that Iโm married, and be able to tick that little box next to โrelationship statusโ. And that does hurt.

Meghan Markleโs brother has joined the rest of the world in the royal wedding harassment department, putting the firm word on Prince Harry to propose to his little sister.

While Kate Middleton has been laying low since announcing her third pregnancy, she has appeared in a new video to promote an important mental health campaign.
Middelton speaks candidly in the clip released by the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families about childhood mental health.
In the video, the royal encourages young people to talk about their thoughts and feelings.
โMental health is how we feel and think, things that canโt really be seen but affect us every day,โ she says.
Middleton introduces an animated video designed to help begin conversations about mental health in the classroom and beyond.
โIt helps us all talk about mental health โ what to say and who to talk to when we have feelings that are too big to manage on our own and how to listen and help if one of our friends is finding things difficult,โ she says.
โSometimes, itโs just a simple conversation that can make things better.โ
As The Mail Online reports, the video was filmed in January before, before Middleton is believed to have fallen pregnant.
The royal is suffering from the same acute morning sickness, Hyperemesis Gravidarum, that she experienced with Prince George, now four years old, and Princess Charlotte, aged two, and she has been forced to cancel public appearances as a result.

Blake Lively proves love really can be blind in the new trailer for her latest romantic thriller, All I See Is You.
They say the eyes are the windows to the soul, and when a childhood accident leaves Blakeโs character Gina permanently blind, she relies on the seemingly trustworthy eyes of her doting husband to help her navigate the world.
Set against the colourful backdrop of Bangkokโs bustling CBD, Gina is completely dependent on her husband James, but when the opportunity to restore her vision arises in a life-changing surgery, their relationship takes an unsettling turn.
As Ginaโs regains her sight, she starts to see the world with a new sense of curiosity and freedom, causing her husband James to feel threated by her newfound independence.
What follows are a burst of sensory and eerily fragmented clips that tease of lust, a potential murder, and a platinum blonde Blake Lively.
The toxic thriller ads to Blakeโs expansive film archive, following her impressive performance in The Shallows, last year, hinting that her latest film will not fall short of suspense, drama and of course a strong female lead.
All I See Is You opens nationwide on October 27th.
