In the middle of the night on Wednesday, 20-year-old Jessica Hamill went missing from her far north Queensland home.
Horrifying details have now emerged about the young womanโs disappearance, with The Courier Mail reporting that Ms Hamill was allegedly abducted from Port Douglas, driven into bushland and โheld against her willโ for 16 hours.
Her family reported the property agent missing when she failed to show up to work.
Police allege that Ms Hamill was abducted by a 24-year-old man that was known to her.
A large-scale manhuntโincluding dozens of police and a helicopterโscoured far north Queensland for the missing 20-year-old.

The day-long ordeal ended when the man crashed his station wagon down an embankment on the Kennedy Highway with the missing woman in the back of the car, ABC Newsreports.
Ms Hamill was found by police and was treated for minor injuries in hospital.

A Queensland police officer told 9 Newsthat Ms Hamill is now safe and has been reunited with her family.
โShe was visibly distressed and was very relieved to be safe again and contacted her family who met her at the hospital which is a great result,โ he said.
The man has been arrested and will face charges today.

It may seem trivial, but actually a recent study has found that 35% of women can spend up to 81 days of their life searching through their handbags for something thatโs missing.
According to the Daily Mail, Pilot Pen Australia conducted a study of about 1,500 Australian women finding that 34.5% of women spend about five minutes a day searching through their handbag โ which adds up to 81 days in their lifetime.
18.5% of women spent 10 minutes looking through their bag everyday which adds up to 162 days in their lifetime, while only 3.7% of women said they already knew where to find everything.
She said the secret was to downsize to a smaller handbag.
โI realised my handbag weighed more than my child!โ Bickmore said.
โI had, like, tiny Teddies, knickers, power cords, one shoe โ so much stuff I didnโt need. Now I only have a little thing. It changed my life.โ
While some of the other panellists were surprised that it was such an issue, Bickmore said that it was particularly bad for mums, because thereโs so much to keep track of.
โWhen you have a kid, we carry it all in our bags,โ she said.

A Scottish couple is offering a salary of $84k per year for a live-in nanny for their two children.

Syrian refugee Mohammed Alhajali escaped the horrors of civil-war torn Syria only to find death in the devastating Grenfell Tower blaze in north London.
Mr Alhajali, 23, escaped with his brother Omar from Daraa in southern Syria three years ago and was granted asylum in Britain.
The young man was studying civil engineering and hoped he could one day return to his home country to help rebuild it, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.
Mr Alhajali lived on the 14th storey of the London tower block and was reportedly trapped for hours while firefighters tried to rescue residents on lower floors.
The Telegraph reports Mr Haj Ali had called his loved ones in Syria while he was trapped in the burning building.
He sent the final heartbreaking message: โThe fire is here now, goodbyeโ.

The new season of US Bachelor spin-off show, Bachelor in Paradise, was cancelled over the weekend following โallegations of misconduct on set,โ with cast and crew alledging 21-year-old contestant Corinne Olympios was sexually assaulted by contestant DeMario Jackson.
The show, which sees previous Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants try to find love with each other on a tropical island, was quickly shut down with cast and crew sent home from Mexico.
Yesterday a Bachelor In Paradise crew member opened up about the incident, saying that Corinne appeared to be unconscious while DeMario had intercourse with her.
โThere was hugging and kissing and touching, but before long, she seemed to go limp and was sliding under water. DeMario kept trying to hold her up and at the same time he appeared to be having intercourse with her,โ the source, who wished to remain anonymous, told theDaily Mail.

A woman stuck in the burning London apartment building dropped her baby out the window in a desperate attempt to save its life.
โPeople were starting to appear at the windows, frantically banging and screaming,โ Samira Lamrani, a local who witnessed the blaze, told the Press Association.
โThe windows were slightly ajar, a woman was gesturing that she was about to throw her baby and if somebody could catch her baby.โ
โSomebody did, a gentleman ran forward and managed to grab the baby,โ she said. According to The Independent, the infant survived the fall.
โI could see people from all angles, banging and screaming for help.โ
โUs members of the public were reassuring them, telling them weโve done what we can and that weโve phoned 999, but obviously the look on their face was death.โ
โThe more I looked up, floor upon floor. Endless numbers of people.โ
โI could hear them screaming for their lives,โ Samira said.
โThe kids, because obviously their voices, with their high pitched voices โ that will remain with me for a long time.โ
Another resident, called Zara, said she saw a woman throw her son, who was about five from a fifth or sixth-floor window to escape the blaze.

A mother-of-two shared heartbreaking videos to social media from the 23rd floor of the burning London apartment building on Wednesday night.
The inferno at Grenfall Tower began at around 1:30am, quickly escalating into an uncontrollable fire with tenants โ including a lot of families with children โ stuck inside.
Rania Ibrham posted a Snapchat video at 2:54am, where she can be seen praying in Arabic.
Her heartbroken best friend showed the clip to Good Morning Britain, saying: โYou can see sheโs trapped.โ
โSheโs praying and sheโs saying, โForgive me everyone, goodbyeโ.โ
Rania has two young girls aged five and three who were in the building with her when it went up in flames.
She posted a nine-minute Facebook live video at 1:38am, around the time the blaze started.
In the clip, Rania is seen opening the door to her apartment and yelling for people stuck in the hallway to join her inside.
She can also be heard praying on the balcony.
โWe are stuck on the 23rd floor,โ another distraught woman yells out during the video.
โThereโs too many people stuck upstairs. Hello!โ she yells desperately.
Friends have commented below the video, helplessly hoping to hear something from Rania, however, she hasnโt been heard from since.

Several deaths and multiple injuries have been confirmed after a massive fire tore through a 24-storey apartment building in west London.
Firefighters are still battling the fire at Grenfell Tower in north Kensington, and it is feared people remain trapped inside the building.
According to CNN, some residents are reported to have jumped from the tower block. Witnesses have also recounted seeing families and children screaming for help and banging on windows.
More than 50 patients have been taken to five hospitals across London.

In Australia, one in 135 babies is stillborn. Tragically, a total of 1832 babies were stillborn in 2012, the Stillbirth Foundation reports.
While there are many factors at play, research from New Zealand has confirmed that women who sleep on their backs in the last three months of their pregnancy are 3.7 times more likely to have a late stillbirth.
The research was led by Professor Lesley McCowan from the University of Auckland and was co-funded by Cure Kids and the Health Research Council.
โOur findings make sense as lying on the back in late pregnancy is associated with physical effects that can compromise the babyโs wellbeing,โ Professor McCowan told Fairfaxโs Stuff.co.nz.
โWhen you lie on your back in late pregnancy, the weight of the pregnant uterus compresses a big vein in the abdomen called the inferior vena cava, and that reduces the blood going back to the heart and it reduces the blood supply going to the womb,โ she explained to News Hub.
The study has supported the findings of earlier research from Auckland University in 2009.
โNow that we have confirmed our earlier findings, public health education encouraging women to go to sleep on their side in the last three months of pregnancy needs to be considered,โ Professor McCowan said.
The researchers suggest that pregnant women may benefit from putting a pillow behind their back to increase their chances of staying on their side during the night.

Charylala was arrested on Monday night when police tracked down his vehicle 400km from Sydney with the scared teen inside. He was charged with kidnapping, sexual assault and indecent assault.
ORIGINAL: A teenager was abducted from her home in the early hours of Monday morning and taken on a horrifying 400km journey.
Police believe the 18-year-old was kidnapped from her Bankstown home by a 33-year-old man, was sexually assaulted and driven in a car towards Melbourne.
According to The Sydney Morning Herald, the kidnapper had previously asked the womanโs parents for her hand in marriage, but was rejected.
The teenagerโs family reported her missing and she was later found in a car with the man on the Hume Highway at Gundagai on Monday night.
The young woman is currently in hospital and is reportedly in a โstable conditionโ, 9 News notes.

A marketing executive from New York has been awarded $40 million in a discrimination case, after being fired from her role for โbehaving like a man.โ
32-year-old Alexis Berger worked for Kargo Global, a mobile branding firm, helping build them into a world juggernaut that brought in $100 million a year.
Bergerโs salary was more than $1 million a year, plus commission, and she also had a $9 million stake in the company โ talk about girl boss!
However, Berger was eventually dismissed after the company believed that she had been showing poor job performance, and was being rude to employees, violating a non-compete clause.
It is believed that other employees didnโt agree with Bergerโs $1 million salary, calling it โinsaneโ and โbโโtโ, while her personal relationship with Kargo CEO Harry Kargman also didnโt please colleagues.
She was placed on a โPerformance Improvement Planโ with โunprofessional behaviorโ given as the cited reason, although Berger claimed that no examples were given of this behavior.

New York city arbitrator Jude Billie Colombaro shared Bergerโs disagreement with the claims, citing sexual discrimination as being a โmotivating factorโ in the former executives termination.
She said, โ(it was) a collaborative orchestration carried out in a malicious, insidious, and humiliating manner, having the effect of depriving her of her earned commissions, her retention bonus, her stock options, her position, her livelihood, and her dignity.โ
During the seven-day arbitration hearing, evidence alleged that the former exec โused profane, inappropriately suggestive, and politically incorrect language.โ

She also claimed that CEO Kargman allegedly filmed a video telling employees that he would โshave his ballsโ if they met sales goals. And while he denied these allegations, he did admit to the use of bad language and has since hired a coach to help control his urges.
She also shed light on a fellow employee that would regularly make reference to her sexuality. Berger โ who identifies as a lesbian โ claimed that a colleague, Kevin Canty, would commonly make reference to her sexuality and once suggested a threesome between the former exec and her partner.
In a statement to AdWeek, the company said: โFor 14 years, our company has endeavored to provide full and equal opportunities to our employees, and it is at the core of our culture.
โAlexis was a close friend of our founder and was the highest paid executive in the entire company. We believe that the award rests upon a manifest disregard of the NY Law and will, at a minimum, be substantially set aside. We look forward to telling the full story in our upcoming legal filings.

On Wednesday, 19-year-old Amanda Hawkins took her two daughtersโboth in a grave conditionโto Peterson Regional Medical Center, the New York Times reports.
The mother claimed the children, 2-year-old Addyson Overgard-Eddy and 1-year-old Brynn Hawkins, had come into contact with something poisonous while smelling flowers. Tragically, both girls died in hospital.
Contrary to Hawkinsโ version of events, investigators allege the childrenโs deaths were caused as a result of being intentionally left overnight in their motherโs car.
ABC7NY reports the children were left for more than 15 hours without food, water or toilet trips while their mother was inside her house with a 16-year-old male friend.
โUpon discovering the girls, the mother attempted to bath them and did not immediately want to take the girls to the hospital because she didnโt want to get into trouble,โ Kerr County Sheriff Rusty Hierholze said a statement.
โThis is by far the most horrific case of child endangerment that I have seen in the 37 years that I have been in law enforcement.โ
Hawkins has been charged with two counts of child endangerment. The charges could be upgraded if brought in front of a grand jury.

Startling news research has revealed the most common cause of death for children in Australia โ and it might come as a shock for parents.
A landmark study from health and medical researchers found that injury was the number one cause of death for children aged 16 and under. About 149 children are killed and 680,000 hospitalised as a result of injuries each year, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.
The study from researchers from the University of Sydney, Macquarie University and Australian Catholic University looked at injury-related hospitalisations between 2002-2012.
โInjury is the leading cause of death of children aged 1 to 16 years in Australia. Injury happens in the blink of an eye and can be lifechanging,โ the researhers explain in the report.
โAn injured child often experiences ongoing limitations related to their physical abilities, chronic pain and psychological issues.โ

The research found that falls were the most common cause of injury for children. Playground equipment was a major culprit, with over 55,000 children hospitalised in the 10 year period as a result of playground falls.
The report also showed that sporting activities were the most commonly reported activity responsible for child injury, while the home was the most common place injuries took place.
Children had a higher risk of death from their injuries if they lived in regional or remote areas of Australia.
The researchers have called on the federal government to establish a national agency to coordinate an injury prevention plan, AAP reports.
โWith injury continuing to represent a substantial burden to the Australian community and as it is the highest cause of death and hospitalisation in Australian children aged one to six years, the development of a current national injury prevention strategy in Australia is long overdue,โ the report states.

The first rumour was that a producer had sued the production following having to witness a raunchy encounter between contestants DeMario Jackson and Corinne Olympios.
LA Times journalist Amy Kaufman released a series of tweets about the incident, saying a source had told her that the pair had a โraunchyโ naked encounter by the pool, with a producer unhappy about what she witnessed.
โMy source was told a producer filed a third party complaint,โ she tweeted.
The following day, Monday, a producer who witnessed this hook-up did not show up to work.
However, anyone who has watched an episode of Bachelor in Paradise will know that the above account of events doesnโt really add up โ this is a show based around contestants โhooking upโ and drinking, so it seems unlikely that contestants and crew would be sent home โ and filming cancelled โ for just that.

Inspirational Australian Turia Pitt has announced that she is expecting her first child with partner Michael Hoskin.
The bushfire survivor told Sixty Minutes last night that she is 15 weeks pregnant, and due in December.
Ms Pitt discovered she was expecting a first days before she was due to fly to Mt Everest.
She told Hoskin while he was brushing his teeth. โI just walked in and I left the pregnancy stick there,โ she said.
Ms Pitt told the TV programme that she is confident that Mr Hoskin will make a brilliant father. โHe had to look after me for years, and he was so patient, so caring. I think those qualities, especially in a parent, are really desirable.โ
Ms Pitt suffered burns after being caught in a bushfire while competing in a 100km race in WA in 2011.

A court has heard the horrifying details of how a girl was allegedly gang raped at a house party in the Blue Mountains, NSW, in 2012, when she was 15. The jury was told the males laughed in the girlโs face when she pleaded them to stop.
At a trial at Sydneyโs Downing Centre District Court, Aaron Jensen, now 23, Christian Dickens, now 22, and two 21-year-old men, have pleaded not guilty to multiple offences, including aggravated sexual assault in company, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.
In court, Crown Prosecutor Belinda Baker said the party was one of the first the girl had attended. On the night, the teenager had drunk about a litre of wine.

Getting older has its pros and cons. With age comes wisdom and perspective, but on the flip side, as each year ticks by we start to notice the visible signs of ageing. A wrinkle here, a little sagging there, some pigmentation and unevenness everywhere. And while thereโs certainly no shame in these age markers, weโd all like to hold onto our youthful glow for a little bit longer.
We spoke to Maggie Lee, Senior Scientist for Olay, to not only understand what is actually happening behind the scenes (aka at a cellular level) when our skin ages, but how we can use that knowledge to our advantage to erase (or even prevent) wrinkles and lines, tighten up sagging skin by improving elasticity, and even out imperfections like age spots and pigmentation.
How does ageing occur?
โOur genes that are responsible for making us look young โ be it to tell cells to make more collagen or to lock in moisture โ slowly decrease in activity [as we age]. These genes behave differently at different points in our lives, and when the genes that help make us stay youthful-looking do not function as strongly as before, it translates into visible signs of ageing on our skin,โ explains Lee.
What contributes to ageing
Of course the natural passing of time impacts how your genes communicate with those cells, but there are other factors at play that can have an effect on the ageing process.
โThe biggest causes of ageing, aside from time itself, include ultraviolet rays and stress,โ says Lee.
In addition to this, a lack of sleep is also a huge contributing factor. An Olay Asia study by Olay Principal Scientist Dr. Akira Matsubara showed that the skin barrier weakens significantly after just one night of sleep deprivation, and that over time, a weakened barrier can lead to skin dryness and slowed skin surface cell renewal.
The first signs of ageing
Lee explains that itโs important to note that ageing begins without any visible signs (more on that in a bit), but then when it comes to noticing it, โAgeing takes on different forms in people due to various differences such as ethnicity. Some of the first signs we may notice include crowโs feet, dark circles around the eyes, and age spots on the cheeks.โ
As the ageing process progresses, Lee says our โskin loses more collagen and elastin โ two proteins that help maintain skin structure, so we may experience loss of elasticity, saggy skin, and uneven texture.โ
How to tackle the signs of ageing
Because we donโt even notice when the ageing process begins, Lee recommends looking after your skin as early as possible.
โWe can use skin care products to address many signs of ageing. Olay products have been proven to provide visible results by their active ingredients, which help to remove the look of many of the aforementioned signs,โ says Lee.

A 48-year-old man has been convicted of murdering his girlfriend and her daughter with a hammer because he believed they were โwitchesโ.
On January 29, 2014, Estrella Castaneda, 56, and her 25-year-old daughter, Lina Castaneda, were found dead in their blood-splattered bedrooms in Queens, USA. The two women had been brutally beaten to death.
According to The New York Times, Ms Castanedaโs partner, Carlos Alberto Amarillo, called 911 and told an operator what had occurred.
โThey were assassinated, hurry they are dead,โ he said. โI killed them because they are witches.โ
Mr Amarillo was found clasping a bible when authorities arrived, Time reports. He told authorities the โwitchesโ had made him sick by โperforming voodoo and casting spellsโ.
Ms Castanedaโs 7-year-old daughter fortunately survived unharmed.
โThankfully, the little girl . . . was not harmed during these deadly attacks,โ Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said in a statment. โShe will, however, be forever impacted by the absence of both her mother and grandmother in her life.โ
Mr Amarillo was found guilty on two counts of first-degree murder and could face life in prison.

A Louisiana family is in mourning after 24-year-old masseuse Kayla Ann Denham was found dead at the location of her last appointment.
Ms Denham had been working towards getting her massage therapist license and had advertised her services online. On Monday, the young woman had texted her boyfriend about the location of a house call appointment she would be making to 25-year-old Christopher Laundry, The New York Postreports.
Her family reported the young girl as missing when they could not get in touch with her.
โFriends and family became worried after she failed to return home and calls to her cellphone went unanswered,โ Sheriff Jason Ard told The Advocate.
Ms Denhamโs body was found in a Denham Springs barn owned by her client, Mr Laundry.

I can still remember my first-ever beauty purchase. A pot of good-enough-to-eat strawberry lip balm from The Body Shop, picked up on a Saturday afternoon jaunt at my local shopping mall. It was the start of a love affair with the brandโs fun and feel-good products: bubbly body gels, buttery moisturisers and my first signature scent (the cult White Musk perfume).

Iโm in the tiny village of Tirumangalam, southern India, to visit Teddy Exports, The Body Shopโs first Community Trade partner. The organisation was founded in 1987 by Amanda Murphy, a former employee of the beauty business who was backpacking in the area. Distressed by the poverty and corruption she witnessed, she was stirred to make a change.
Since then, Teddy has produced The Body Shopโs textiles and wooden accessories โ footsie rollers, cosmetics bags and screen-printed shopping totes โ with profits funnelled back into the local community.
Two things are immediately clear on arrival at the sprawling 48โacre property, the staff of 650 lined up to greet us โ one, the mood is more upbeat than a Mardi Gras playlist, and two, the power of a social welfare organisation to change lives is real.
There are the women, who make up 71 per cent of the Teddy workforce, receive equal pay and hold the vast majority of management positions. All the more remarkable when you consider this is a country where women often struggle to gain employment (the result of deeply rooted gender norms).
There are the employees with disabilities and AIDs โ typically โpariahsโ of Indian society โ who are granted not only work but basic healthcare, too.
And there are the beaming faces of 1000 children, whose lives may have been changed most of all. Teddy provides free education from crรจche through to secondary school (including care for disabled students) and tops the national average with a 100 per cent pass rate.
The organisationโs latest initiative is a program helping sex workers forge a new path. I meet 17-year-old Meera*, who was pushed into prostitution by her mother at 15. Now, thanks to this six-month course in tailoring and behavioural change, sheโs wide-eyed and filled with hope for her future.
Since partnering with Teddy Exports 30 years ago, The Body Shop has worked with communities spanning from Morocco to Mexico. By 2020, it aims to help 40,000 economically vulnerable people across the globe access work, and ensure 100 per cent of its natural ingredients are sustainably sourced.
The business is not alone in proving that beauty can be a force for better: today, a new generation of skincare and cosmetics companies are committed to not only giving good face, but giving back, too (ones to watch: Humanite and Ilia).
Of course, in a world where corporate social responsibility is sometimes more spin than substance, itโs easy to become desensitised to terms like Fair Trade and ethical โ even disillusioned. But here under the sweltering Indian sun, their impact is impossible to ignore. Much more than words plastered across a shampoo bottle, they represent the lives of people like Meera.
Iโm struck with a firm reminder: to detox my beauty cabinet. Sure, Iโm not quite ready to overhaul my entire regime, but starting now, I plan to study ingredients labels, investigate the social policies of my favourite brands, and make responsible, considered choices.

Peruvian news outlet Diario Clarรญnreports Franco Alonso Lazo Medrano jumped from his fourth-floor apartment after declaring โI canโt stand a heartbreakโ. His mother was witness to the devastating events.
The man left behind audio tapes and two suicide notesโechoing the plot of the hit Netflix show.
According to People, one suicide note was addressed to a loved one named Claudia, while the other contained instructions that detailed who would receive the audio recordings he made on his computer prior to his death.
The recordings are reportedly for the people who drove Medrano to take his own life.

London man Gerard Vowls has spoken out about the moments that led to 21-year-old Brisbane woman Sara Zelenakโs death during the devastating London Bridge terror attacks.
Amidst the chaos and panic, as people tried desperately to flee, Vowls ran the other way to help the young woman he saw being attacked by the terrorists.
The 47-year-old construction worker has spoken to The Australian of the ordeal, saying, โI wanted to distract them, to stop them, I wanted to turn attention to me, rather than the blonde girl. She was crying out, โhelp me! Help me! And I tried so hard, screaming to get them to look at me.โ
He hopes his actions will bring some small degree of comfort to Saraโs family, knowing that someone tried to save her.
โWhat I saw was the worst thing in the world,โ he says. โTo Saraโs family, I just want to say I am so very sorry for their loss. I really tried to help her and get them to chase me. I am ripped apart knowing she died, itโs destroying me.โ

Queensland woman Krystel Spicer will stop at nothing to curb her nicotine addiction: sheโs chained herself to her bed for the next three weeks.

British singer Phil Collins has been admitted to hospital after falling and hitting his head, according to a statement on his Facebook page on June 8.
The statement revealed Collins is currently struggling to walk due to a back operation. โHe rose in the middle of the night to go to the toilet and slipped in his hotel room, hitting his head in the fall on a chair,โ the statement said. The 66-year-old has had his head stitched up following the painful gashing.

Anni Wood was diagnosed with โ and overcame โ breast cancer in 2000, when her daughter was just five years old. But in 2005, it returned as a secondary cancer โ this time in her bones, liver and brain.
โI remember curling up in a ball and just sobbing,โ her daughter, Laura Wood, recalls. โShe had been so well the years prior and I was heartbroken to hear that it had managed to come back. It didnโt seem fair that she would have to go through it all again.โ
Lauraโs father, Mark Wood, quit his job to become his wifeโs full time carer, until Anni passed away when Laura was just 12.
Now, both Laura and Mark are heavily involved with the National Breast Cancer Foundation to raise awareness of the need for self-checks. โThere is so much emphasis nowadays on eating and living well, preventive self-checks should be a part of this,โ Laura says. โBreast cancer is one disease that can be self-diagnosed by checking your breasts regularly for any lumps and changes.โ

โMy Mum found her lump very late. When the breast cancer was detected it was large and aggressive. Perhaps if she had known and been more vigilant about self-checks, it could have been found earlier and she could still be here today.โ
Laura, who has followed in her motherโs footsteps to become a professional dancer, is an ambassador for the National Breast Cancer Foundationโs Real Men Wear Pink campaign, which launches on Monday June 12. She and her father share the same goal as NBCF: to have zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030.
โThis is the dream and can be made a reality with important funding of vital research,โ Laura says. โI donโt want anyone to go through the experience my family has had if it can be prevented.โ

โThese are follicles, these hold eggs, so this is just giving you an idea of how young your ovaries are,โ he explained, before revealing, โThere are fewer follicles than I anticipate for a normal 32-year-old.โ

And while we have secretly been praying that the folk of Stars Hollow have been plotting a revival, Lauren Graham has been having other ideas. In a recent interview with Indiewire, Lorelai senior revealed that acting just isnโt her focus right now.
โJust as an experience, it was kind of perfect,โ Graham said of working on the revival. โI always said, while we were doing it, that I couldnโt see more episodes in that form. Five years from now do you haveA Very Gilmore Christmas? Maybe, but thereโs no reason anymore except enjoyment. And, actually, I think thereโs far more risk to continue โ you run the risk of disappointing people.โ
โI kind of got what I wanted out of this, out of being an actor, and now Iโm actually just as interested in helping somebody else have that, whether through directing or producing.โ
As for now, Graham said that writing for her is โvery new and refreshing.โ
Whatโs satisfying to me has changed, so now I like to be part of the creative process, not just get a script and go do it.โ

Florida mother Chrissy Corbitt is still in shock after delivering her fourth-child that weighs in at 5.9kg (13 pounds, 5 ounces).
The 29-year-old mother gave birth via cesarean to daughter Carleigh last month.
โWhen the paediatrician showed her to me across the curtain, I was like, โOh my gosh, sheโs huge,โโ Chrissy told InsideEdition.com. โI couldnโt believe it. It was like I delivered a toddler.โ
Her husband, Larry Corbitt explained: โIt was so funny because she had a C-section so all the blankets were over her so you couldnโt see what was going on. The doctor said, โOh my gosh, sheโs going to be 15-pounds.โ I remember the doctor saying, โI donโt think this baby is going to end. Are there two of them?โโ
โHer cheeks were so chunky and she was just so fat. She was so gorgeous, of course.โ
Corbitt said she was expecting her daughter to be on the bigger side because her three other children weighed in at around 9 or 10 pounds.
Finding nappies to accommodate their daughter has been a struggle, the parents shared.
โSheโs like a 6 month old baby,โ Larry told ABC News. โWe even contacted Pampers and Huggies to help us out because everything we got to prepare is just out the door. None of it fits. Sheโs in size 3 diapers. The clothes she had on yesterday was a 9-month outfit. Sheโs huge.โ

Justice has finally been delivered after a 56-year-old Pennsylvania man who was found living with 11 girls was convicted of multiple sex charges.
A Bucks County Court heard that Lee Kaplan had befriended a struggling Amish family, made six of the sisters his wives and sexually abused the young women for over a decade. According to News Corp, the sisters are now aged between nine and 19. Kaplan fathered two children by one of the girls.
On Tuesday, the man was convicted of 17 child-sexual assault charges.
โHe was brought to justice today, and Iโm very happy,โ Deputy District Attorney Kate Kohler told The Inquirer.
Authorities alleged the parents of the girls had โgiftedโ their eldest daughterโaged just seven at the timeโto Kaplan because he had offered them financial assistance.
In court, Deputy District Attorney Kohler argued that Kaplan had โbrainwashedโ the family and carried himself as a prophet of God.
โIn that world, child rape is the norm,โ she said. โSex with children is ordained by God. They existed for one reason and one reason alone.โ
The sisters testified that they had suffered years of abuse of the hands of Kaplan, but some said they still loved him as a husband.
One of the girls told the court Kaplan first molested her when she was just seven years old. The girlโs mother told the court that she knew about the interaction, but thought โit could be a good thing,โ News Corp reports.

Kristy Chong was on one of her regular runs in 2012 when she thought: There is absolutely no support in these undies.
Instead of forgetting about her discomfort when she changed out of her active wear, Chong decided to do something about it.

Queensland parents say they failed their 18-month-old son, who was killed by their babysitter while they were out.
โWe failed. As much as people say we suffered, we [also] failed. I was not there to protect Hemi,โ mother, Kerri-Ann Goodwin said in court this week.
Kerri-Ann and her partner Shane Burke had left their toddler, Hemi Goodwin-Burke, in the care of an old friend, Matthew James Ireland, while they went to Brisbane for a medical appointment.
Over the course of two hours, Ireland drunkenly beat Hemi while babysitting him at the family home in Queensland.
In court, the devastated parents heard the account of what happened to their child.
โFrom [what Ireland told police] he sat outside drinking and every time he walked back inside he applied another form of violence,โ they said, as reported by News.com.au.
โWhether it was kicking him like a football, picking him up by his throat, squeezing him, pushing him down in his cot. Every time [he went inside] he did more.โ
The little boyโs body was covered in 78 bruises from being kicked and punched repeatedly.
Ireland had originally lied to investigators that Hemi had suffered a seizure, and tried to blame the injuries on the boyโs three-year-old sister.
โJust to think of the pain he was in. We werenโt there to protect him,โ Ms Goodwin said. โThink how scared he would have been.โ
Ms Goodwin says she blames herself for allowing โthe predatorโ into their homes that should have been โHemiโs safe haven.โ
โI trusted him, I thought he was a friend,โ she said in her statement to the court.
The night Hemi was injured they spoke to Ireland at about 6.30pm. โHe said everything was fine. If it was that he was struggling and he needed help, there was opportunity to say that.โ
Hemiโs parents are appalled that the charges against Ireland were changed from murder to manslaughter and that he was only jailed for eight-and-a-half years with a parole eligibility date of as easy as March 2019. They have started a petition to change the way the prosecution system handles childrenโs deaths.
