Radio host and actress Heather Maltman has opened up about being a bisexual woman.
In celebration of the same-sex “YES” vote, the former Bachelor star explained the romance she once had with a woman named Renee, whom she is still friends with today.
“It’s hard being bi,” Maltmann told Confidential.

“As so many people judge it or make fun. To me, I see people I am attracted to as wonderful souls, not a gender.”
Maltman, who is now a radio host and actress, found fame on Sam Wood’s season of The Bachelor in 2015.

“Together we became inseparable,” she explained. “Without knowing. I had fallen completely in love with her. I was over the hills for her.”
While the girls are no longer an item, Maltman maintains they remain good friends.
“She is still one of my closest friends in this world. You never get over your first love.”
“As soon as this vote came in she was the first person I thought of and I just cried. I’m so happy that the Aussie government can finally see what we truly want.

“And at the end of the day. Why fight it? Does it really effect your life if I loved a girl once? Nope.”
Amen!
